Super schönes Ambiente..sauleckeres Essen! Einfach wirklich wunderschön! Absolut empfehlenswert!

Ich bin sehr froh, die Spaghetti Oper kennengelernt zu haben. Dieser Ort ist einen absoluten Besuch wert für Leute, die auf frische, genussvolle und handwerkliche italienische Küche stehen. Von der Vorspeise bis zum Dessert ist jede Gabel ein absoluter Genuss und ein wahrer Gaumenschmaus von Anfang bis Ende. Man schmeckt das Handwerk wirklich heraus, da hier alles selbstgemacht ist und vor allem die Saucen perfekt abgestimmt sind. Auch der Inhaber ist super nett und für Fragen immer offen. Wer also ein Restaurant sucht, bei dem Handwerk noch großgeschrieben wird und das eine Qualität bietet, die man bei jedem Bissen schmeckt, der ist bei der Spaghetti Oper an der absolut richtigen Adresse.

Die vielen negativen Kommentare kann ich persönlich nicht nachvollziehen. Meiner Erfahrung nach entsprechen sie nicht dem, was ich bei meinen Besuchen erlebt habe. Besonders überzeugt hat mich die Qualität des Essens. Die Speisen werden frisch zubereitet, und gerade die hausgemachten Nudeln sind ein echtes Highlight. Zudem sind die Portionen großzügig – vor allem die Menge an Soße ist hervorragend, was man in vielen anderen Restaurants leider nicht mehr findet. Insgesamt kann ich dieses Restaurant mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen. Wer Wert auf freundlichen Service, frische Zutaten und leckeres Essen legt, ist hier genau richtig. Das Essen ist wirklich eine 10/10 und der Chef ist ein sehr sympathischer Mann. Wir wurden schnell und zügig bedient und ich kann mich bei nix beschweren top!

Leider kann ich dieses Restaurant nicht weiterempfehlen. Bei meinem Besuch wirkte das Essen nicht frisch und hatte einen unangenehm alten Geschmack. Zudem war die Luft im Restaurant sehr schwül und stickig, wodurch der Aufenthalt insgesamt wenig angenehm war.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden! Die Spaghetti waren hervorragend – frisch, lecker und perfekt zubereitet. Mein Mann hat ein ausgezeichnetes Rumpsteak gegessen und war ebenfalls begeistert. Das Ambiente war sehr angenehm und der Besitzer war unglaublich herzlich, freundlich und aufmerksam. Man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und können das Restaurant nur weiterempfehlen!

Ich war damals schon in der Spaghetti Oper und seit dem Besitzerwechsel ist wohl alles den Bach runtergegangen… Das Essen hat qualitativ sehr stark nachgelassen, sowohl die Konsistenz als auch der Geschmack hat sich verschlimmert. Hat der Koch etwa Angst vor Gewürzen? Keine davon auf meinem Teller gesehen oder auf meiner Zunge verspürt. Die Spaghetti waren wie ein Haufen Brei und die Soße hat nicht richtig an diesem gehalten. Es war förmlich eine Nudelsuppe mit matschigen Nudeln… Mein italienischer Opa hat sich dreimal im Sarg gewälzt als ich ihm am Grab davon berichtete. Der Service, muss ich leider den unteren Bewertungen zustimmen, ist sehr unaufmerksam und der einzige Fokus liegt nur auf Tiktok / am Handy zu sein während der Schicht. Der Besitzer machte vielleicht einen netten Eindruck, aber man erkennt sofort das alles nur gespielt ist. Ahnung von guter Gastronomie hat so wie es aussieht keiner in diesem Laden, schade… einfach abgekauft und in die Tonne geworfen dieses Herzstück an Spaghetti Oper…. Die Neff‘s sollen zurück!

Es war ein Treffen mit Meet5. Das Restaurant hat seine besten Zeiten hinter sich. Im Eingangsbereich riecht es sehr nach kaltem Rauch/ alter Kneipe. An der Decke hängt eine Klimaanlage, die dringend ausgetauscht werden müsste, Typ Keimschleuder. An den Gardinen hängen Spinnweben und Staub, sehr unhygienisch. Das Essen sehr bedenklich. In der Speicherkarte wird damit geworben, dass die Nudeln hausgemacht sind, was aber nicht stimmt. Ich hatte die ganze Nacht Unwohlsein im Magen. Das Umfeld ist leider auch nicht das allerbeste. Fazit: nie wieder. Nachtrag: Auf meine Rezension wurde geantwortet und natürlich ist man nicht erfreut. Meine Bewertung spiegelt aber meinen realistischen Eindruck wieder. Es gibt ja außerdem auch noch die anderen Gäste an diesem Abend. Man könnte natürlich auch eine Kritik zum Anlass nehmen und die Missstände zu überprüfen und zu beseitigen. Zu dem leben wir in einem Land, in der Meinungsfreiheit herrscht und diese lasse ich mir nicht verbieten.

Ich war heute das erste Mal in der "Spaghetti Oper". Von meiner Seite aus sehr zu empfehlen. Das Essen war mega lecker, der Service super. Ein total netter Inhaber und Gastgeber, der auch den Kontakt zu den Gästen sucht und für ein nettes Schwätzchen zu haben ist. Ich ahtte grüne Nudeln mit Lachs. Die Nudeln waren super frisch und selbst gemacht. Der Lachs auf den Punkt gebraten und die Soße ein Traum. Ich war bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal dort!

Besitzer hat gewechselt - hat leider nichts mehr mit dem Original zu tun…Schade! Da es seit 2 Monaten keine neuen Bewertungen gibt, habe ich den Verdacht, dass Kommentare gelöscht werden.

Tolles Restaurant, sehr netter Inhaber. Auch im 0:15 wurde das Essen frisch zubereitet, die Nudeln sind handmade und wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Ich habe bei Spaghetti Oper Mannheim über Uber Eats bestellt, leider konnte die Bestellung zunächst nicht ausgeführt werden, da der Fahrer nicht erreichbar war. Nach einem Anruf im Restaurant war der Herr am Telefon unglaublich bemüht und freundlich. Da sich das Problem mit Uber Eats nicht klären ließ, hat er die Bestellung kurzerhand persönlich ausgeliefert. So ein Einsatz ist wirklich nicht selbstverständlich – top Service ! Das Essen war zudem sehr lecker und die Portionen mehr als ausreichend. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Wir gehen sehr regelmäßig in die Spaghetti Oper und haben mittlerweile die meisten Gerichte probiert. Wir wurden bisher stets hervorragend bedient und hatten schon sehr schöne Abende in Mannheim. Vom Feldsalat mit hausgemachtem Kartoffeldressing, über Knoblauch-/Pestobrot, Nudelgerichte (besonders die grünen Nudeln), bis hin zu Mousse au chocolat, alles ist empfehlenswert!! Volle fünf Sterne von vollkommen zufriedenen Gästen Update Dezember 2025: Seit einem Jahr ist die "Oper" nun unter neuer Führung und ich muss wirklich was loswerden => wir waren vorher jahrelang Stammgäste und hatten Angst, dass diese Ära zu Ende geht und wir uns etwas Neues suchen müssen. Heute kann ich sagen - diese Angst war VOLLKOMMEN unbegründet. Das Essen ist weiterhin hervorragend, der Service super freundlich und wir kommen inzwischen häufiger als Vorher - danke an Massoum, Alina, Markus, "Achim" und das gesamte Team für die schönen Stunden 2025 und auf ein Neues in 2026 ❤️

I ordered the "colorful goat" (colorful vegetables with pesto, goat cheese, and cherry tomatoes with green spaghetti), but it ended up being vegetable soup with green spaghetti. The flavor was completely lacking. The portions were decent, but the taste definitely leaves something to be desired. I wouldn't go back. What a waste of money; any home cook could do better. Sorry.

Menu: Very lavish (actually a sign of poor quality), visually in dire need of an overhaul. But: don't be put off! The food: The surprise: spaghetti that's truly homemade, great products, lovingly prepared. The portion? Filling. The taste? Simply delicious. Overall conclusion: It's not stylish, and there's no terrace either – but who wants to sit outside here? They even asked if everything was tasty—a small gesture with a big impact. We had rump steak and pasta in sesame cream sauce, and the pasta was definitely the best we've ever had in Mannheim! We (family and in-laws) have been going to the Spaghetti Oper for many years. After the owners sold at the end of last year, we were worried about what would happen next. The waitress was a bit clumsy and socially awkward, tried to strike up a conversation but failed, and overall seemed very forced. But the main thing is that the food is still incredibly delicious!

We were in Mannheim for a concert and left early because of Pentecost. When we were wandering aimlessly through the city center and found the shop on Google, we just popped in. Absolutely disgusting!!!!! On my trial day, I was sexually harassed, touched, and humiliated with disgusting comments about my figure. "Bend over and I'll have a good view." The boss wanted to kiss my neck and grab my ass. As if that wasn't enough, I was also racially abused. He said he had bought me cheap from the slave owner. I started crying in front of him and fled to the bathroom, completely distraught. When I returned, I was coldly asked if I was done with the "whining." I was devastated, and to this day, this experience still haunts me. This is not a restaurant. This is a place for abuse of power, racism, and disgusting behavior. Stay away!!!!

Great restaurant with excellent food and very friendly service; When you come in you are even greeted by the boss. Exceptional dishes are offered. We had a yellowfin tuna carpaccio as a starter, which was very fresh and excellent. As a main course there were two very fine seasonal regional asparagus spaghetti menus (spaghetti are homemade) and to top it off we had a homemade Kaiserschmarrn with homemade ice cream, which was better than the one we ate in Vienna. The store is also family friendly. The friendly waitress even looked after our little one from time to time so that we could eat in peace. All in all a great evening! We definitely recommend the Spaghetti Opera in Mannheim.

Tolles Restaurant mit ausgezeichneten Speisen und sehr freundlichem Service; beim Hereinkommen wird man sogar vom Chef begrüßt. Es werden außergewöhnliche Gerichte angeboten. Wir hatten als Vorspeise ein Gelbflossen-Thunfisch-Carpaccio, was sehr frisch und hervorragend war. Als Hauptgang gab es zwei sehr feine saisonal-regionale Spargel-Spaghetti-Menüs (Spaghetti sind Hausgemacht) und zum krönenden Abschluss haben wir einen hausgemachten Kaiserschmarrn mit selbstgemachtem Eis bekommen, der besser war als den, den wir in Wien gegessen haben. Familien freundlich ist der Laden auch. Die nette Bedienung hat sich sogar zwischendurch um unseren Kleinen gekümmert, sodass wir in Ruhe essen konnten. Alles in allem ein super Abend! Wir empfehlen die Spaghetti-Oper in Mannheim auf jeden Fall weiter.

Wir kommen als Familie immer wieder gerne hierher. Seit über 30 Jahren! Die Gerichte und die selbstgemachte Pasta sind mega. Durchweg. Vorspeisen und Muscheln superlecker und man hat eine große Auswahl! Die Besitzer sind immer superfreundlich und jederzeit zu einem Smalltalk bereit. Wir bedauern es sehr, dass die Besitzer (ein älteres Ehepaar) nun aufhören, aber wir wussten bereits, dass sie bald in Rente gehen. Wir hoffen, dass die neuen Eigentümer genauso freundlich sind.

Ich könnte jetzt hier einen Roman schreiben, aber das ist die Sache nun nicht mehr wert oder viel mehr gesagt, das sind die Besitzer nicht mehr wert. Wer so abwertend und lautstark mit seinen Gästen umgeht, tut gut daran, das Restaurant in hoffentlich bessere Hände zu übergeben.

Grauenhaft! Wollten nach einem Kinobesuch nebenan im Atlantis noch eine Kleinigkeit essen. Da wir es wagten, uns (in einem fast leeren) Restaurant einfach an einen Tisch zu setzen, wurden wir auf äußerst unfreundliche und oberlehrerhafte Art zurechtgewiesen und darüber „belehrt“, wie man sich in einem Speiselokal verhalten solle… Wir haben uns nicht sonderlich willkommen gefühlt. Absolutely fantastic service! Such warmth is rare these days. The food was very good, especially the lamb's lettuce with homemade potato dressing! A poem! The value for money is more than justified. Fair prices for the high quality. I'm really glad I made it in time!

The Spaghetti Opera lives up to its name! The owners do the reception, taking the order and bringing the food to the table with dedication and love. The dishes are extensive, all fresh and homemade and there is something for every taste. Above all, the lamb's lettuce with croutons, bacon and potato dressing was a highlight for me, very tasty and, like everything else, perfectly seasoned and a good portion. If you can't manage your portion, you can also take it with you! The tiramisu is also really a crowning conclusion to every beautiful evening. As soon as we entered we were met with the smell of cold smoke. Unfortunately, it didn't get any less during the meal. The ambience is generally very old. From the outdated and kitschy decoration to the burn marks on the menus. Unfortunately the quality and good taste of the food was overshadowed by the mood (triggered by the owner). The owner was mostly very friendly and accommodating at the table, but there were already comments about our order because we had “only” ordered one main course and one drink per person. The owner repeated this in a loud voice in the kitchen - just for your information, the two gentlemen only have one main course - During the meal we were the only guests who heard an argument between him and his wife. All in all - no thanks!

little place in Mannheim, Germany. the name recalls Italian cuisine, but very tamed with Teutonic taste... and it's not that I expected more. Still edible. What I didn't like was the bill... not so much the amount itself. So we went in and the waiter, an elderly man... probably also the owner, immediately informed us that we could only pay in cash... well... what does he do? We're here now... okay, come on. ok we have dinner then while we were there we see the other people paying by credit card. not wanting to make a mess we sketched and paid... but in short the moral is that the little man got paid in ⚫️..... then they complain when they come to Italy eh....

A restaurant with a very nice atmosphere, perfect for a Valentine's Day date. I chose the green pasta with duck breast and almonds in a honey sauce. It tastes sweet, the duck breast is a bit firm, the portion is large, and the combination is not obtrusive. I love it here! Will come back to try again in the future. ———————————————————— 21.02 update: Reservations are always highly recommended for the evening, singles without reservations may be lucky enough to find a seat at the bar like I was. From observation, almost all visitors need to wait for a while at the door, ordering food also requires waiting as they are always busy (need to be patient) out of curiosity I tried the escargot, the sauce was a bit salty and the snail meat tasted... Conch meat is almost the same. I also ordered the green pappardelle (with meat sauce), unfortunately the meat sauce was so salty that I had to keep drinking water (thus deducting one star), and the portion was huge and very filling. The old couple were very friendly and kept asking me how my food was and whether it tasted good to me. Overall it's good, more suitable for couples dating and gatherings of friends. *Payment can only be made by EC card, credit cards are not accepted. It’s better to pay in cash

Yesterday we had dinner again with friends. As always, great food. Great taste. Friends and children were thrilled and full. Owners have always been very nice for years. I've been eating there off and on for years. And will continue to go there. 👍👍👍

Quaint restaurant that has been consistently good for years! The owners are warm and it is one of the few old established restaurants. We always enjoy coming here and the mussels are delicious! 👍
