From the reservation to the farewell, the service was super warm. But the food… well, the best Mexican restaurant for miles around! From the selection to the quality of the dishes, no other restaurant in the Frankfurt/Wiesbaden/Mainz area can compete! Simply unbelievably delicious! Vegetarian and vegan options are also excellent. The value for money is outstanding! Truly a Mexican gem in Wiesbaden!

We had various cocktails and a variety of different foods. It was busy, which is probably why the ordering of drinks was a little delayed. Music suited to the ambience was playing. When the restaurant is full, it becomes difficult to communicate with 6 people. Goods very tasty. Happy to come back!

There were around 20 people in a small trading group on site on Friday😀 We were all so impressed by the friendliness, the service right down to the food, everything was flawless😍 The boss and her partner😉😅 were so warm and communicative that you felt like you were at home. I’m originally from Mexico & decided to give this place a try, due to the multiple positive reviews. The horchata was not sweet. It tasted like we were drinking a glass of milk with a dash of cinnamon. My husband received the Shrimp fajitas, he told me his meal was very bland. Although it looked great, the salsa ordered with his meal was necessary for the food to taste like anything. The Chilaquiles with chicken/ tinga de pollo was more like nachos. Because there was no salsa over top of the tortilla chips. The atmosphere was very nice & clean. We arrived before their usual busy rush. Maybe they were understaffed due to the wait time for our drinks, orders, & even plates to arrive to our table. Unfortunately we will not be returning back to this establishment.

Definitely a place to try, specially for drinks and good ambience in Wiesbaden. Our group tried different cocktails and all were great, try the Margarita Sorpressa and wait to be "surprised".

In my opinion NOT RECOMMENDED! We didn't like it, but at the same time we found the prices to be very high. The restaurant had my husband's 3 star review deleted! In my opinion, this explains why the reviews are so good on average and do not match our experience.

The food is fantastic - authentic and delicious. A dream for vegetarians, and even a separate menu for vegans. absolute recommendation! The service staff are so attentive and nice and overall you feel wonderfully comfortable. And definitely try out tacos, horchatas and the baked nachos in one of the many variations.

We had a really nice evening with 11 people. The atmosphere is very nice and invites you to eat. The food itself was also very tasty, we all had different dishes and everyone was really very satisfied. Above all, the service was very, very friendly. The overall service (for example, I accidentally entered the wrong amount into the card machine) is really great because I was helped immediately. Overall, I can really recommend the restaurant. That definitely wasn't the last time we were there :-)

I was there with my wife on the evening of September 30, 2024 to spend our wedding anniversary. When we arrived we were greeted very friendly. When we sat down at our table, we were able to look at the menu at our leisure and then order our drinks and, a little later, the starter. And everything is always very friendly. We were also able to choose at our leisure when ordering the main course and we even had time to choose the dessert. The food was absolutely delicious and so were the drinks. We would love to come back.

I was there recently with a friend and was just thrilled! It looks absolutely cute inside and out and has a very nice theme - the menu also looks great! Particularly great for veggies like me or vegans, because you get an alternative for every traditional dish, which made me incredibly happy! My food was incredibly tasty and I was happy with everything :) The waiters were super nice and totally helpful The dessert was amazing!!!!! All in all, a very clear recommendation <3 Kiss goes out, I'll definitely come again

Delicious food, but price-wise on the expensive side

We went here with a large party and they were so accommodating. Place wants full on Saturday night and I could see why. The drinks were expensive and the amount you received for that price wasn’t no worth it. A small 2.0ml margaritas was 9.90€. The nacho had hardly any toppings for nacho Al pastor. The pastor meat was tasty. The chips and salsa was served with pico de galo and not salsa. Parking in this area was horrible as all the street parking was taken.

We stayed at Casa Azteca for the first time today and were really very satisfied. The food was very tasty, the atmosphere was great, with South American music, guests dancing to it and artistically painted walls and tables everywhere. Together with the flavors of Mexican cuisine, this briefly catapulted us from everyday life to a vacation in South America. Also a special thank you to Alex, who patiently explained the dishes to us and gave us tips for our next trip to Cuba! We'd love to come back, thank you!

In the vegetarian enchilada there were pieces of meat in the sauce. The salad for €20 was a joke: 2 pieces of avocado, 2 pieces of cucumber and two pieces of tomato. I didn't see any pomegranate seeds. Ordered once and NEVER AGAIN. The delivery person from Lieferando was friendly.

Our evening on March 30, 2024 was simply fantastic 🤩❤️ The unproblematic online reservation alone was great and our wishes regarding the accompanying wheelchair user were easily taken into account and implemented. During our stay, we always made sure that she felt comfortable and that she didn't lack anything. The dishes were consistently impressive - both in terms of taste and appearance. The service was extremely friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was relaxed, cozy and appealing and the cocktails were perfectly mixed 🍹🍸 What can I say? We were definitely not here for the last time. An absolute must for fans of Mexican food 🌮🌯

Were there for the first time today. It is clear that it is definitely not for those on a tight budget. Aaaab: it was worth every single cent (2 main courses, 2 corona, 2 wine and a dessert for around 83 euros). Great atmosphere, great food and fantastic and incredibly attentive, friendly service (big praise again for this great service on March 23rd from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.)! We felt very welcome and spent a really nice evening there. Had the fajita con pollo and barbacoa. Both very tasty and perfect in quantity! The Rioja was also absolutely delicious. Since I had already read in another review that only cash payment was possible, I took precautions accordingly. Absolutely recommended restaurant! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

We reserved a table for 2 people online on March 3rd, 2024. Upon arrival, courteous, friendly service staff, the table we requested was perfect. Only a few tables without guests. Our drinks and menu selection: Margarita Ginger, Degestivo Michelada, Pollo Pibil, Mole Poblano. Our taste buds were tickled quite a bit. We were thrilled! They were looked after unobtrusively and Sjusanna, as boss, also supported business operations. Unfortunately there was no more room in the stomach for Postres. As a small thank you, after paying the bill, we received two small, free, percentage-rich final drinks from our super nice service girl (with the silver tooth jewels*:-)). Unreserved recommendation for Casa Azteca.

We arrived at the Casa Azteca restaurant quite late on a Friday evening. Nevertheless, we were still able to order food at half past ten. We regularly go out for Mexican food in Cologne. Here we noticed straight away that the decor alone really had a Mexican atmosphere. We also researched this on the homepage afterwards. It is a lovingly and beautifully decorated store. The service was friendly. The map offers a large selection. A highlight for me personally were the different salsas. Here I chose the Salsa Morita. Just the right amount of spiciness. Very tasty with the nachos. We didn't need the nachos as a starter because the main courses are really big. And we both like to eat very much and not too little. But the nachos were definitely worth it. However, some of the nachos themselves are spicy, so I had to eat them alone. The main course I chose, the Enchiladas Rojas: highly recommended. Even the beans were 1 a. My friend chose the fajitas. He was also excited. Neither of us could finish our portions. We would be happy to come back again. Maybe there is hope that you will also open a restaurant in Cologne?!

Christmas party 2023, let’s test something new… My husband thought it was a good idea. Since I am Mexican myself, I would like to try such a well-rated restaurant. With us in tow were 10 of my husband's employees. Of course, I am particularly critical of Mexican cuisine. Then some reviews even say that this is “authentically” Mexican. The menu surprised me; there were a lot of really Mexican dishes there. The service wasn't good, she tried hard, but there wasn't an order without a mistake, out of 10 dishes, 4 were wrong. 😑 (since it was already 10:30 p.m. no one complained, we just wanted to eat). And unfortunately we can't really talk about authentic here either. A pity. The guacamole was avocado with tomato, which definitely lacks the pizzazz. Pico de Gallo was tomato and onion ingredients also missing here. The salsa that I ordered EXTRA spicy didn't taste like anything. Any tabasco would have been better. A pity. I would have liked to have been pleasantly surprised... Ambience very nice, music but unfortunately very loud. If you like something to drink and dance, this is the place for you. Food… well… I would like to recommend a better Mexican restaurant, unfortunately I haven't found one yet... I guess I'll have to continue cooking myself...

Very tasty burritos and the guacamole was awesome. The Aperol spritz was as it should be. The service was super friendly, nice atmosphere, we felt very comfortable. This evening there was a salsa party from 10 p.m. with a great atmosphere.

Leider nicht so dolle. Essen brauchte lange, kam dann halb Kalt und wirkte wie aus der Dose und dann in die Microwelle. Die Musik war zu laut und das Publikum etwas zu Prollig. Die Servicekraft hat immer ewig gebaucht und war unaufmerksam. Für die Preise, kann man den Laden nicht zum Essen empfehlen.

Leider hat mich das Essen wirklich enttäuscht. Es war alles sehr ölig und meines Erachtens nicht gewürzt. Wir haben nach scharfer Soße gefragt, die leider nur brannte und nicht lecker war. Dafür hat eine Essen aber trotzdem ca 20€ gekostet. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr nett, jedoch war es sehr laut und man musste sich beim Reden anschreien. Das Essen auf den anderen Bewertungen sieht sehr viel besser aus, als was wir hatten. Vielleicht hatte der Koch einen schlechten Tag.

Ich fand alles super, nur war die Musik sehr laut und Unterhaltungen waren somit schwierig. Essen war sehr lecker, ein ganz toller Service und Toiletten sauber. Es gibt sogar eine vegane Karte!

Anbieten top, Musik toll aber etwas laut zum unterhalten, Service sehr freundlich und gut drauf. Das essen war für Wiesbadener mexikanisch Verhältnisse top, kenne kein besseren. Aber muss sagen die Tomatensalsa schmeckt schrecklich, gar nicht authentisch eher wie Tomatensauce aus der Dose mit Gewürz. Sonst war das Essen top! Preis/Leistung finde ich stimmt leider nicht so. Kochbanane für 7€ und dann sind es nur 5 kleine ölige Stücke etwas Wucher, da hab ich mehr erwartet

Heute war ich mit meinen Freunden im Casa Azteca das erste mal essen. Der Abend war wunderschön. Alles hat gestimmt. Das Essen war super lecker und sehr authentisch. Die Getränke waren soo gut, dass ich süchtig danach geworden bin. Die Atmosphäre ist super, wir haben uns kurz wie im Urlaub gefühlt. Das beste Team noch dazu, was will man noch mehr. Moin. Ich war am 01.10.23 Sonntag Abend da zum Essen. Es hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Das Essen ( ich hatte Fajitas) war hervorragend. Serviert in einer heißen Pfanne mit Gemüse. Dazu Salat und Dips. Und die Tortillas waren warm. Also alles wie ich es mag. Sehr lecker. Der Knaller war aber die junge Servicekraft. Super freundlich, sehr aufmerksam und total natürlich. Ganz toll! Sie hat mir dann zum Abschluß noch die selbstgemachte Erdbeer-Limo empfohlen. War ebenfalls ein Knaller. Wegen dem Essen kann man wiederkommen, wegen der netten Jungen Dame auf jeden Fall. Hat wirklich Spaß gemacht.

Ich war am 30.09.23 abends mit meinem Mann dort um unseren Hochzeitstag zu verbringen. Als wir ankamen wurden wir sehr freundlich begrüßt und gefragt, ob wir reserviert haben. Als wir uns dann an unseren Tisch gesetzt haben, konnten wir in aller Ruhe die Speisekarte uns ansehen um dann unsere Getränke zu bestellen und etwas später auch die Vorspeise. Und das alles immer sehr freundlich. Auch bei der Bestellung des Hauptgerichte konnten wir in Ruhe auswählen und haben sogar tolle Getränke Empfehlungen bekommen. Ebenso wurden wir gefragt wie wir unsere Dips zu den Gerichten haben wollen. Auch wenn das Lokal gut voll war, war das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und man hat auch keine Hektik gespürt. Das Essen war absolut lecker und auch die Getränke. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder

Das Essen war sehr authentisch und lecker, obwohl ich sonst eigentlich kein mexikanisches Essen esse. Der Cocktail den ich bestellt habe war ebenfalls sehr lecker. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und ist auf alle meine Fragen eingegangen, da mir die mexikanische Küche nicht so bekannt ist. Selbst das Ambiente ist schön eingerichtet. Man sieht, wieviel Arbeit in Allem steckt und dass alles Handarbeit ist. Meiner Meinung nach verdient dieser Laden 5 Sterne und ich werde definitiv wiederkommen.
