There's something for every taste on the menu. The portions are quite generous, but you can choose between regular and smaller portions. The price/performance ratio is absolutely reasonable. Friendly and attentive staff make you feel warmly welcomed. It's always busy, so reservations are recommended. In nice weather, you can also use the outdoor terrace. Parking is a bit difficult on site. It's best to look for a space nearby and be prepared for a short walk. The restrooms are very clean.

A venerable establishment with good, down-to-earth food. Classic service, regional cuisine with good ingredients. Only eat there, so I haven't reviewed the rooms. After dinner, you can take a lovely walk through the Frauenstein Cherry Hills.

I visited the restaurant. I can't say much about the hotel. It had a nice atmosphere and delicious food. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a parking space during my visit. There are a few available, though. If the restaurant is full, you might have to search the surrounding area.

A lovely, cozy restaurant. Parking is difficult, as the few spaces in front are often already taken. Great food. Not cheap, but delicious. There's also a children's menu, and the portions are generous. Kids can order nuggets, schnitzel, and the like. For birthdays, there's a delicious dessert with a candle on the house. A great surprise. Reservations are definitely recommended.

Down-to-earth and honest cuisine. Prices are on the high side. In summer, the terrace area is unavailable without advance reservations. The frequent customer turnover is striking; it's difficult to enjoy a quiet glass of wine when the staff constantly asks if everything is okay.

We stumbled upon this beautiful restaurant quite by chance as we were passing by – and what luck! Delicious food, attentive service, everyone was very hospitable and pleasant. My personal recommendation: chanterelle soup – I never would have thought it could taste so incredibly good. Highly recommended!

I spent two days in a single room at the Weinhaus Sinz and can only recommend this hotel in every respect. From the comfort and cleanliness of the room to the friendliness of the Sinz family and their staff, to the excellent meals from breakfast to dinner in the restaurant, everything was just perfect. If the opportunity arises, I will happily visit this hotel again.

Comimos en dos restaurantes muy buenos en la misma zona en noches consecutivas y por lo que hicimos algunas comparaciones con el forsthaus Rhineblick muy agradable. La comida era excelente en ambos. En el Sinz yo tenía venado y mi esposa trucha, las cuales eran muy buenas. En el Sinz la elección del desierto es extensa - tengo un gran apetito, pero incluso yo no podía atravesar el gran volumen del Windbeutel. Mi esposa realmente disfrutó de su parfait. El servicio es muy eficiente y parece ser un restaurante con una rápida rotación de clientes en lugar de un lugar para relajarse toda la noche.

Angelockt durch die vielen guten Bewertungen waren wir hier zum Mittagessen. Durch das höhere Preisniveau hatten wir auch höhere Ansprüche und die wurden nicht erfüllt. Die Cola kam ohne Eis, Zitrone wäre nett gewesen. Das Wiener Schnitzel trocken und ohne lockere, wellige Panade. Die Scholle zu lange auf dem Feuer und flüssige Butter zu den Kartoffeln hätte sich gehört. Ambiente und Service gut.

Mein Mann und kommen öfters zum Essen. Da wir immer sehr zufrieden sind, haben wir bei Sinz einen runden Geburtstag mit Familie und Freunden gefeiert. Die vorherige Beratung durch Herrn Sinz zur Gestaltung und zur Menüauswahl war sehr gut, das Personal war zuvorkommend, der Service rundum perfekt, das Menü ausgezeichnet. Das Ambiente ist ansprechend, der Nachmittagskaffee auf der Terrasse hat unser Fest angenehm ausklingen lassen.

Bei mehreren Tagen in Wiesbaden steht eigentlich traditionell auch immer ein Besuch des Weinhauses Sinz im Programm. Auch diesmal wieder waren wir nicht enttäuscht, gute Hausmannskost, gute Portionen, freundliches Personal, eben super Atmosphäre und dazu ein gepflegter Wein.

Ich war zum ersten Mal im Weinhaus Sinz und sofort begeistert: Die Terrasse ist ein kleines Paradies – der blühende Kirschbaum war ein absoluter Blickfang und hat die Atmosphäre wunderbar unterstrichen. Der deutsche Spargel war ein Gedicht – frisch, perfekt zubereitet und begleitet von einer herrlich hausgemachten Hollandaise, die den feinen Geschmack wunderbar ergänzt hat. Kein Vergleich zu einem Fertigprodukt – das schmeckt man einfach! Dazu ein Glas 2024er Riesling von Udo Ott – einfach nur gut und die ideale Begleitung zum Essen. Der Service war aufmerksam, herzlich und in traditioneller Landhaus-Tracht gekleidet – man fühlt sich sofort willkommen und bestens umsorgt. Ich freue mich schon jetzt auf ein Wiedersehen!

Nicht nur die Umgebung begeistert. Auch das Weinhaus Sinz als solches ist ein wunderschönes Gasthaus. Man kann dort draußen wie drinnen wunderbar essen. Es schmeckt hervorragend das Personal ist super freundlich, und man fühlt sich herzlich willkommen. Für mich immer wieder ein Besuch wert, ob zum Essen oder nur einen Kaffes , wir werden immer wieder gerne kommen.

Für die Weihnachtsfeier mit der Familie haben wir bereits monatelange voraus gebucht und das werden wir bestimmt auch nächstes Jahr machen, denn alles war zu unserer Zufriedenheit: Atmosphäre, Speisen und Service. An einem Feiertag gibt es 4 Durchgänge und trotzdem war die Kellnerin "gut drauf".

I can't give any information about the rooms as we were only there for Christmas dinner. The parking situation was already a challenge with this huge rush at Christmas. If it's quieter, you'll definitely be able to use the parking space available. Now to eat. It was a dream, really delicious even though there was only a small selection of 4 menus for Christmas dinner. This made everything happen very quickly. Service absolutely friendly and on the ball. And as already mentioned, the food was delicious, a poem. We'll definitely be back, it won't be our last visit.

Very happy again. The Weinhaus Sinz is well signposted and there is a car park directly opposite. The entrance is tastefully decorated for Christmas. However, there are some stairs leading to the entrance. Reservation is recommended. We were there for lunch and the restaurant was very busy. The facility made of light wood is very cozy and was lovingly decorated for Christmas. Attentive service, a selected food and drink menu and good food recommend the "Sinz" for many future visits.

Kleiner Tipp, Reservierung am besten telefonisch machen, online funktioniert nicht immer sicher. Wir waren mittags am 2. Adventssonntag mit der Familie zum Essen und ohne Reservierung hätten wir keine Chance gehabt, alles komplett ausgebucht. Parkplätze sind vorhanden aber nicht ausreichend. Man braucht etwas Geduld und Glück. Das schöne alte Fachwerkhaus wirkt sehr gepflegt und die verschiedenen Gasthäuser sind aufwendig weihnachtlich dekoriert. Man fühlt sich sofort wie zu Hause. Auch der immer freundliche und professionelle Service vermitteln dieses Gefühl. Die Karte ist umfangreich und bietet viele saisonale Schmankerl . Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist angemessen. Die Wartezeiten waren trotz voller Besetzung mehr als angenehm. Die Getränke ließen nicht lange auf sich warten, hervorzuheben war der Rieslingsekt mit Pfirsichlikör, sehr gut. Bei der Auswahl der Speisen kann man zwischen zwei Portionsgrössen wählen, was sehr angenehm ist. Die Teller sind appetitlich angerichtet , alles ist bestens abgeschmeckt und es werden Top-Produkte verwendet. Rheingauer Rieslingsüppchen, warmes Ochsenfleisch mit grüner Sauce und Bratkartoffeln oder Lachsfilet mit Blattspinat, alles tadellos. Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam und immer freundlich und präsent, trotz vollem Haus. Hier wird Gastfreundschaft groß geschrieben. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder. Klare Empfehlung!

Wir waren zur Weihnachtsfeier dort. Der kleine Nebenraum war für 17 Gäste sehr gut geeignet. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen war lecker! Besser geht nicht. Wir können das Weinhaus Sinz nur empfehlen.

5 stars We had a wonderful day at Weinhaus Sinz! I chose a perfectly cooked goose leg with red cabbage, dumplings, a fried apple and plenty of sauce - everything was very tasty and plentiful. To start with, there was a fine Riesling soup, which also tasted excellent. Particularly noteworthy is the attentive and friendly staff who accompanied us through lunch. Our group was served at the same time, so everyone received their food at the same time - a nice gesture that is not to be taken for granted. The drink selection was equally impressive and varied. A successful lunch in a pleasant atmosphere. We'd love to come back!

What I particularly like is the consistently warm food. Where else is that available? Enjoy one last time on October 30, 2020 before the lock down. Simply great as always. August 11th, 2021 I tried the fresh Taunus porcini mushrooms with dumplings again at the Weinhaus Sinz. The taste was good but there was a bit too much cream, but a few more porcini mushrooms would be even better. Even with the small portion. 9/19/21 almost satisfied again. Except for the porcini mushrooms that are still swimming in the “cream soup”, what a shame. I ate something else. Starter cake stand: trout tartare, roast beef with homemade green sauce, game carpaccio 10/30/24 today I just wanted to mention that we have been here several times before. That's why I didn't always have to mention it. The food is great and the price-performance ratio is right.

I have been a guest at the Hotel and Weinhaus Sinz for years. The quality of the food and wine is always excellent and Klaus Sinz in the kitchen and Katharina Sinz with her great service team are convincingly continuing the house in the new generation and combining tradition and modernity in everything Areas together outstandingly. Wir waren mit drei Personen an einem Dienstag Mittag zu Gast. Das Restaurant ist eine ‚Institution‘ im Wiesbadener Stadtteil Frauenstein und seit Generationen kommen die Gäste immer gerne wieder. Sehr gute Auswahl an Getränken und Speisen und sehr freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service. Mittlerweile befindet sich das Preisniveau auf einem Level der hoffentlich nicht weiter steigt. Ausgeschilderte Parkplätze gegenüber dem Restaurant, Kartenzahlung möglich.

I visited for lunch. The parking lot in front was full, so I parked a little further away. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere and the menu had a variety of local German dishes. The Weinhaus Sinz is always worth a visit. Our occasion this week was our son's school enrollment. The table was fully decorated with school supplies and sweets, which we were all allowed to take with us (to the surprise of all of us guests). The entrance was also decorated to match the theme and was very inviting. We always feel comfortable there, the service is excellent and very attentive, the choice of food is great and the price-performance ratio is right given the quality. Children are welcome and receive a children's card to color in. We will definitely be back and can only warmly recommend Weinhaus Sinz for any occasion (private, school, birthday, funeral)!

Das Essen war sehr gut das Entrecôte auf denn Punkt gebraten. Die Bedingungen aufmerksam. Die Speisekarte fast schon etwas zugoss. Wir waren von der schirren Menge an Gerichten anfangsetwas überfordert, hier findet jeder etwas. Die Terrasse ist gut verschattet und auch bei der sommerlichen Hitze angenehm zu sitzen. Leider sieht der Efeu an einer Wand der Terrasse sehr verloren und traurig aus. Sonst sehen alle Blumen, Einrichtungen sehr mit Liebe gepflegt aus.
