I can recommend this restaurant with a clear conscience. It's quietly located, in the woods, so to speak, and very appealing both inside and out, with friendly and attentive service. The food is excellent.

While searching for a suitable wedding venue, we dined at the Villa im Tal in winter. The atmosphere there is classic, warm, and inviting—especially in the cold season. We particularly liked the fact that it has both a room with a beautiful terrace and a cozy fireplace room, which creates a very special atmosphere. We ate in both rooms—the first time in winter with the family in the fireplace room, during regular restaurant hours—and were immediately impressed by the food and the service. When we decided to celebrate our wedding at the Villa im Tal, we also held a rehearsal dinner there in the summer. We were able to enjoy the idyllic terrace in the countryside—surrounded by the forest, with a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere. Let's get to the wedding and our personal highlights: The champagne reception at 6 p.m. was a real highlight—with a generous selection of savory, sweet, and savory snacks that tasted excellent and delighted our guests. The multi-course menu for our approximately 50 guests began at 7 p.m. We received attentive, friendly, and professional service throughout the evening. The organization was excellent; everything ran smoothly. The portions were very generous, so no one went hungry. Another highlight was the opportunity to select regional wines to complement the menu—they tasted excellent and perfectly matched the courses. We would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank the entire team at Villa im Tal. All our wishes were met to our complete satisfaction, and many even exceeded them. We felt completely at home, well looked after, and warmly welcomed. Great location, beautifully situated, and its good reputation precedes it. Unfortunately, not everything was as perfect as the first impression. The welcome and seating were friendly. The cards were placed at the edge of the table. Wait until they were handed to us or just take them? Since no one came back, we decided to take the cards. After a good aperitif, the first of three courses followed, which was perfect. The presentation and taste were convincing. A great start (beef tartare). The wines ordered for the second course arrived during the appetizers. Too early, a shame. The main courses themselves were only partially convincing. The surf & turf looked promising, the meat perfectly cooked and truly delicious. Unfortunately, all the other components were too hearty overall, and the béarnaise sauce was even too salty. Combined with fries and hearty vegetables, everything was a bit too much. Not as finely tuned and balanced as hoped. Funnily enough, the waiter only confirmed this, saying it had already been mentioned earlier today... well, the plates were also overloaded for my taste. The mini fryer basket is in the middle of the dark sauce, and behind it is the Béarnaise sauce. Both could easily be served separately. That way there's more space to showcase the food. Dessert is delicious and everything is fine. Service has become scarce, and you don't really want to linger as a guest. All in all, I left rather disappointed, even though everything here could be so good. It seemed as if there was a slight lack of enthusiasm or joy in wanting to make every guest happy and satisfied.

We celebrated a milestone birthday and were—and still are—absolutely thrilled. A fantastic location with separate rooms for the reception/dancing and dinner. Professional planning and consultation in advance, an attentive team that handled last-minute cancellations with ease and skillfully oversaw the evening, and excellent food. Our guests were also thrilled. Who knows who among them will celebrate there in the future.

We were regular guests at the Villa im Tal for years. Unfortunately, our trust was recently severely disappointed: Mr. Markus entered our reservation date incorrectly. And we ended up without a room during a wedding. Instead of admitting the mistake and finding a solution, he reacted unprofessionally and rudely. Absolutely unacceptable for a hotel with such standards. It's a shame how long-term guests are treated.

Friendly waiters. Good food. Beautiful location. Unfortunately, there are a lot of disgusting insects in the summer. It's a shame the restaurant doesn't have any insecticide.

Apparently, the staff wasn't able to properly take reservations, which is why our family celebration couldn't take place there. We only found out about this once we arrived. That wasn't even worth an apology.

We stumbled upon the restaurant more or less by chance. The upscale yet relaxed ambiance convinced us to stay. And it was worth it. A fantastic menu, friendly and attentive staff—it was a successful evening.

We had a wonderful birthday party with a large group at the Villa im Tal. All the guests were thrilled.

A beautiful terrace. After we were seated, it took about 30 minutes for a server to arrive. In contrast, the waitress served guests who were obviously familiar with the place, shortly after they had arrived, and they received both their drinks and food before us. After ordering, our son went to the restroom and asked a server for directions. The server politely showed him the way, but another server added, "He could also go into the forest." Such a response is a complete impertinence. Before we had even finished our aperitifs, the appetizer arrived. I had a bread salad with grilled rock octopus. There were only a few small pieces of rock octopus on the plate. For my main course, I had fried char. The piece of char was very modest. The price-performance ratio for both the appetizer and the main course was not right.

We were invited to a silver wedding anniversary. The champagne reception took place on the terrace in beautiful weather. There was live music, and the appetizers served were excellent. The celebratory dinner took place in the hall. There was something delicious for every guest. For the main course, guests could choose between a fish/meat dish and a vegan dish. The final desserts left nothing to be desired. The service was very attentive and prompt. Highly recommended.

Seit Eröffnung ist mir das Lokal bestens bekannt, habe es häufig für Geschäftsessen genutzt, oder mit Familie zu Anlässen wie Weihnachten, St. Martin oder einfach einmal zu zweit gut sich von gutem Essen, herrlichem Ambiente und geschmackvoller Einrichtung verwöhnen zu lassen. Aktueller Anlass war die Feier eines runden Geburtstages. Das gesamte Ambiente der Raumgestaltung entsprach dem festlichen Anlass; die Tisch- und Stuhlorganisation war extrem ansprechend. Meine Gäste fühlten sich wie bei einer größeren, angenehmen, gut gelungenen Familienfeier, obschon sie zu Beginn größtenteils untereinander fremd und teils von weither angereist waren. Die vom Geschäftsführer bei der zuvor persönlichen Planungsbesprechung empfohlenen Menus sowie die von ihm ebenfalls empfohlenen Weine waren absolut exzellent. Die Bedienung ununterbrochen im Einsatz, hierbei stets dezent, darüber hinaus sehr zuvorkommend und charmant. Der festliche Abend war vollends geglückt. Die allseitige Zufriedenheit bestätigte mir, die richtige Entscheidung - in der Villa im Tal zu feiern - getroffen zu haben. Herzlichen Dank an das gesamte Team.

An unconditional recommendation as a wedding and event venue! From the very first consultation, we had the feeling that absolute professionals were at work here. A balanced menu was developed together (including excellent wine recommendations), all requests and last-minute changes to the schedule were easily considered and implemented, and the service was absolutely professional. I can't say much about the restaurant's service, as I was there for a wedding. Using the restrooms in the basement may be difficult for those with mobility issues.

We held our wedding reception at the Villa in the Valley and couldn't be more grateful. Communication was extremely friendly, competent and professional throughout the entire planning period. There were no problems or discussions at all on our wedding day - quite the opposite. The entire service team helped us and our guests in a friendly, warm and very professional manner every second. A big thank you also goes to the kitchen team who provided us with outstanding food. Even special requests were implemented immediately and presented to perfection. My mother celebrated her 90th birthday in the villa in the valley. Both she and her more than 50 guests were thrilled. Communication and preparation: Great! Very tasty food in a lovely idyllic atmosphere. Despite the high price, the portions are good and you'll feel full. I was very enthusiastic about the papadam starter and the schnitzel as a main course.

We went there for our birthday dinner today and it was an experience that we will definitely be raving about for a long time. The service was great, super personable and professional! The ambience and surroundings were simply wonderful and the food was truly a masterpiece. Everything was perfectly coordinated, the meat was on point and the side dishes were ideal. All in one, a great and certainly not the last visit. Highly recommended! 👍🏼

Wir wurden sehr nett empfangen und zum Tisch gebracht.. Der Raum war sehr schön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet ( eingedeckt). Wir hatten einen Hauseigenen Aperitif. Speisen haben hervorragend geschmeckt, alles kam heiß an Tisch. Wir wurden alle satt und zufrieden. Falls Sie hin gehen sollen bedenken Sie daß das Preis für. Ein Glas offen wein für 0.1 auf der kagte steht. An Tisch kommt kleine Karaffe mit 0.2 so gleich kostet Glas Wein 15 €.. Für Gedeck wird 2,40 berechnet. Es ist halt schon teurer als in anderen sehr guten Restaurants aber man gönnt sich sonst nichts.

Wir waren in den letzten Jahren immer mal wieder Gast und stets sehr zufrieden! Der jüngste Besuch hingegen war bezgl. Qualität der Speisen und des Services kein Genuss! Speisen teilweise lauwarm, Gemüse hart und geschmacklos, Fleischportionen im Menü zu klein bemessen am Preis. Service nicht souverän und angemessen zurückhaltend, teilweise übermotiviert und durch ständige Unterbrechungen des Gesprächs nervig störend. Was bleibt in Erinnerung: Die traumhafte Kulisse eines schönen Hauses und stimmungsvolles Interieur. Leider aber keine Vorfreude auf einen nächsten Besuch. Dafür war es einfach zu teuer und nicht gut genug! Wäre schön, wenn sich das wieder verbessert!

Food unspectacular but solidly tasty. The service was very, very, very attentive - refills every 3 minutes are definitely meant to be nice, but unfortunately rather intrusive. Conversations between each other are often interrupted and a half-full glass of water does not have to be constantly refilled. If necessary, you can do this yourself. The Villa im Tal is idyllically located in the countryside, just five minutes from Wiesbaden city center. I went there for dinner with my sister and it was an unforgettable experience. The Ochsenbackerl as the main course in particular was incredibly tasty and tender – exactly as you would imagine. The Christmas lighting and festive decorations created a wonderful, cozy atmosphere and rounded off the evening perfectly. Many thanks to the team at Villa im Tal, absolutely recommended♥️

Wir bekamen trotz rechtzeitiger Reservierung einen Tisch im Eingang zugewiesen. Das Restaurant war nicht voll. (Wurde es auch um später nicht). Auf Nachfrage ob wir einen anderen Tisch bekommen könnte, sagte die Managerin sie hat noch 2 Tische mehr nicht und sah uns nicht an. Wir hatten nur höflich gefragt.. Die anderen wären für die Stammgäste. Wir hatten dann einen anderen Tisch genommen. Sie bediente uns nicht mehr und schickte einen Kollegen. Souverän, gastfreundlich war das nicht. Der Kollege sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Das Essen ganz gut. Wir waren bis dahin mehrfach da. es wird ein großer Unterschied zwischen Stammgästen und Gästen gemacht obwohl beide die gleichen Preise zahlen. Als Managerin sollte man das gut führen können, hier entsprach das nicht dem Service den man von so einem haus erwartet. Beim rausgehen lief ich an ihr vorbei, sie sah mir ins Gesicht und drehte den Kopf weg. Nicht mal auf Wiedersehen war möglich. Es war überhaupt nichts vorgefallen das so ein verhalten rechtfertigt. Villa im Tal lassen wir den Stammgästen, es gibt sehr gute andere gehobenere Restaurants mit erstklassigen gästefreundlichem Service.

We love Austrian cuisine and the ambience in the middle of the forest is also a dream. It's very cozy inside by the fireplace in the cold season, but we also like to be outside on the terraces in the summer. The food is consistently of high quality, and the wine list is also impressive. Of course there are a lot of Austrian wines on it, but that's completely okay.

The food was okay, but certainly not at a toque level. Unfortunately, service was very unpresent, we were constantly left out to dry, dessert wasn't even asked for (one was part of the menu, which then came isolated). We mentioned this while we were walking and they said they were very sorry for short-term illnesses. I thought about it afterwards and in such a case I would expect guests to be turned down instead of disappointing them. Unfortunately, 250 euros for two people with poor service is not a pleasant experience.

Wir hatten unsere Weihnachtsfeier dort. Ich kann nur sagen es war vom 1. Augenblick an alles super schön und rundum ein gelungener Abend. Das Ambiente war sehr schön. Der Service war über aus aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Essen einfach mega lecker. Wir waren einfach alle sehr begeistert und können es sehr empfehlen und würden wieder kommen. Es gab zu keiner Zeit etwas zu bemängeln. Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team für duesen schönen Abend ihr seid wirklich toll.

A beautiful ambience: stylish and “warm”! I celebrated my big birthday here with lots of guests. The food, as a “flying buffet”, was excellent, as were the wines that were offered! The service is very professional and very friendly! All in all, the guests & I were very happy! Was the best choice!

Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Essen, Trinken und der Service waren einwandfrei.

Wir sind seit einigen Jahren immer wieder gerne zu Gast hier, doch gestern Abend war unser letzter Besuch. Waren bis vor wenigen Monaten noch Marcel und Jule die treibenden Kräfte im Service, wurde das Team nun offensichtlich ausgetauscht - leider zum Nachteil für das Haus. Der Service war mangelhaft: wir bestellten ein Glas Wein und ein Bier, das junge Mädchen, welches bereits mit Wassergläsern richtig Tisch unterwegs war, verzog das Gesicht, nachdem die ältere Kollegin ihr sagte, wir wollen kein Wasser. Unser Essen (2x Wiener Schnitzel) war gut, allerdings sind wir gerade auch von den Beilagen besseres gewohnt. Die „Bratkartoffeln“ waren sehr salzig, sehr fettig, nicht knusprig. Das Schnitzel sehr sehr dünn, Panade im Verhältnis zu viel. Portionsgrösse und Geschmack stehen nicht im Verhältnis zum Preis. 26€ für die kleine Portion (1 Schnitzel, kleiner als eine DINA5 Seite), 32€ für die normale Portion (2 Schnitzel), 15€ für 0,2l Grauburgunder, 4,80€ für ein Brotgedeck, 6,80€ für ein Weizenbier = 84,60€. Wir wurden den gesamten Abend über nicht angesprochen, es wurde nicht gefragt, ob das Essen schmeckt, ob wir zufrieden sind. Nachdem wir um die Rechnung gebeten hatten, und den genannten Betrag gezahlt hatten, kam ein knappes Danke und die Dame drehte sich um und ging. Die Villa im Tal hat den Charme verloren, den die alte Besetzung aus vollem Herzen mit den Gästen teilte. Sehr sehr schade.

Die Villa im Tal ist ein kulinarisches Gesamtkunstwerk: tolles Ambiente drinnen und draußen, aufmerksamer und charmanter Service – und die Küchenleistung ist ein Highlight. Jedes Mal!

Already here for the second time, and still outstanding food paired with great service and a great ambience. A fair price for the experience and still affordable, especially when you compare it with some star restaurants that are not significantly better in quality. You have to try the aperitif cocktails, and there is also a non-alcoholic version available. The 3-course menu is excellently coordinated and fortunately the portion size is such that you don't have to leave hungry. Therefore, a clear recommendation, especially for special evenings. Of course, minimal improvements would always be possible, so more than one spread would be desirable with the bread if it doesn't exactly suit the taste.

Das Ambiente war wunderbar und auch das Buffet war von einer ausgezeichneten Qualität. Das "Rundum-Sorglos-Paket" hat uns begeistert und wir konnten den schönen Abend entsprechend genießen. Unbedingt empfehlenswert!

This little paradise in the middle of the forest enchants with its picture-perfect ambience and impresses with absolute perfection down to the last detail. All guests were absolutely impressed. The food was outstanding, the service was always present and discreet at the same time. All of our wishes were implemented to the highest degree. The best thing for us was that everything was so well organized that we didn't have to worry about anything, we were just allowed to enjoy our day!! Very nice and quiet restaurant. The reception is very friendly and you are immediately offered the available tables to choose from. The cards will be handed out without delay. The furnishings are tasteful and without any frills. The service is friendly, quick and can competently answer questions about food and drinks. In our opinion, the drinks menu left little to be desired and we believe that almost everyone can find what they are looking for here. This statement also applies to the menu. We had the 3-course menu and a starter and main course, and the quality and method of preparation were great. A little note on the subject of meat and cooking levels for those who are sensitive here: Medium was very much in the direction of medium rare. But for me personally it's not a defect or problem. Our wedding in the “Villa im Tal” in Wiesbaden was an absolute dream! The consultation in advance was professional and cordial - we felt we were well looked after and advised. On the big day itself we were treated to first-class service. The team was attentive, friendly and took care of every little thing so that we could concentrate fully on our celebration. The highlight was definitely the food: it was outstanding! Every course was a culinary masterpiece and was only praised highly by our guests. The “Villa in the Valley” not only offers a breathtaking backdrop, but also an unbeatable all-round service package. Today we were with our company of 120 people in the "Villa im Tal", which the older ones among us still know as the "Waldhaus". Very good service, attentive staff, our glasses were always well filled. Orders arrived quickly. Food was available in the form of a buffet with a wide selection, something for every taste - meat, fish or vegetarian. Even with a large number of people, everything ran like clockwork. Thank you 🙂

Our wedding was exactly as we dreamed it would be - simply perfect. The Villa im Tal team was the ideal organizer for our wedding. Preparation, planning, cuisine and service were excellent.

We held our summer party in the Villa im Tal and everything was perfect: the food was brilliant, the ambience couldn't be beat and the service was as warm and courteous as we have ever experienced. It was an event that couldn't have been better. All of our guests thanked us after the party and said that they had never celebrated such a perfectly organized summer party before. Aber was das Fest wirklich zu einem besonderen Event gemacht hat, war der Service! So herzlich und zuvorkommend habe ich noch bisher kein Serviceteam erlebt. Ich reise viel und nehme an vielen Events teil, organisiere diese zum Teil auch selbst, aber das, was die Villa im Tal bietet, ist unübertroffen. Yesterday we celebrated my 60th birthday in the Villa im Tal with family and friends. It was the “perfect” celebration. Everything was right. Location, food and service, unbeatable. We sat outside, the table was beautifully set, the champagne reception on the lawn, the weather was perfect. The food was to die for, there's really no other way to say it. The young man who was responsible for us met our every wish. I have never experienced such professional service. It was a wonderful, unforgettable evening. We'll definitely see each other again soon. Ein hervorragendes mehrgängiges Geschäftsessen: Das Menü und die passenden Weine vorher engagiert und mit viel Geschmack vom Team der Villa vorgeschlagen und ausgesucht. Beides schmeckte so vorzüglich, wie es sich las :-) Sonderwünsche und Unverträglichkeiten wurden ganz selbstverständlich berücksichtigt. Der Service war perfekt, die Atmosphäre für den gehobenen Anlass ideal - wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Wir haben einen Sonntagsausflug gemacht und waren begeistert. Wunderschöne Location, sehr gutes Essen und überaus freundliches & aufmerksames Personal. Wir kommen wieder!

Wir saßen im schönen Außenbereich, das Ambiente insgesamt ist geschmackvoll, so dass wir drei Frauen uns sehr wohl fühlten. The choice of location fell on the VILLA IM TAL - for me personally it was love at first sight. The carefully and very tastefully renovated old half-timbered villa impresses with its attractively colored, consistent interior design. The entire layout - furniture, lamps, floors and even the washrooms - is all in one piece and harmonizes perfectly. A very well-kept outdoor area offers a garden and several pavilions surrounded by forest, meadows and fields - a special place in the Adamstal to feel good, to let go and enjoy nature. The collaboration with the event department of the house was professional at all times. Fast, dedicated replies via email and the fact that a contact person was always available, the event was rounded off into a perfect whole by friendly, personal support on the day and all specifications were implemented down to the last detail. The restaurant manager and service staff were exceptional, as was the cuisine and the menu chosen. High-quality ingredients, creatively processed and put together were perfectly presented and served. The outdoor area offers a splendid garden in the middle of a beautiful forest surrounded by meadows and fields with pavilions and many other charming spots to relax and enjoy nature in the Adamstal. Wir haben im Restaurant gesessen und konnten nach draußen schauen. Dort waren größere Gruppen, die eben auch ein bisschen lauter waren, uns aber deshalb nicht gestört haben. Das Menu war wirklich sehr gut, die Bedienung außergewöhnlich freundlich (ich glaube, wir waren die einzigen Gäste, die drinnen gesessen haben) und wir wurden jederzeit bestens bedient. Die "Location" ist in der Tat etwas Besonderes, gerade, wenn man etwas zu feiern hat. Jederzeit kommen wir wieder, es war super.

Gewohnt gut immer wieder ein schönes Erlebnis im grünen

Nettes Ambiente, tolle Lage, super Service, Essen gut, Weine tendenziell preislich ein bisschen überzogen (Pfälzer Brühe bei 13€ für 0,2l). Wiener Schnitzel ein klein wenig übersalzen, die Sauce Hollandaise hatte einen komischen Beigeschmack. Auf jeder einzelnen Speiße irgendwelche Kräuter, die den eigentlichen Geschmack verfälschen. Warum man letzteres immer noch macht, keine Ahnung.

Tolles Essen, freundlicher und sehr professioneller Service, gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis und ein sehr schönes Ambiente im Grünen.War ein sehr schöner Abend. Wir kommen sehr gerne öfters wieder.
