Cantina Charlotta in Kaufering

Wir waren letztes Wochenende am Sonntag nach dem Kino zu viert dort. Eigentlich war alles in Ordnung, netter Service, Essen hat auch geschmeckt.... .... doch leider haben 3 von uns 4 direkt danach Magenkrämpfe und Durchfall bekommen. Bei uns zweien ging das sogar bis Mittwoch, dass nach jedem Essen alles wieder rauskam. Schade ... werden da so schnell nicht wieder hingehen. Unsere Essen waren 1x Taco Atun, 1x Taco Chili con carne und 1x das Salmon Sandwich

Der Service ist durchgehend gut und das Essen solide. Für Kinder gibt es einen Spielbereich.

Ich war alleine hier, ich habe einen sehr guten Platz bekommen. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend. Ich hatte Tacos mit Chili Con Carne, ein Bier und zum Schluss einen sehr guten Cocktail. Der Abend war sehr schön dort. Unten im Keller wo die Toiletten sind war ein Partyraum. Der zu dieser Zeit benutzt wurde, am liebsten hätte ich einfach mit gemacht. Danke für den tollen Abend.

Katastrophe… man kommt pünktlich zum Essen um 20:00 uhr, wartet dann 10-15min um platziert zu werden… und dann wartet man bis kurz nach 21 Uhr bis das erste mal jemand an den Tisch kommt … um dann zu hören: die Küche hat seit 21 Uhr geschlossen. STARK !

Restaurant mit einer umfangreichen und abwechslungsreichen Speisekarte. Wir haben eine sehr leckere und großzügige Platte für zwei Personen gegessen. Die Auswahl an Cocktails ist riesig und jeder findet hier etwas für seinen Geschmack. Ebenfalls unter den Alkoholfreien. Reservierung ist sehr zu empfehlen und mit etwas Wartezeit ist zu rechnen.

Immer gut für ein Bier mit nem Kumpel oder zwei. (Bier und/oder Kumpel 😎)

Essen ist schon ok aber auch nicht das beste mexikanische Restaurant in dem ich schon war. Aber die Cocktails hier sind mega lecker!

Das ist wirklich das netteste Service den ich je gesehen habe ich habe leider ausversehen etwas mit schweine Fleisch bestellt und netterweise hat mir ein Mitarbeiter was anderes geboten und wollte für den Artikel kein Geld nehmen dieses Restaurant ist wirklich eine volle Empfehlung

Ich habe einen Großteil meines Lebens an der mexikanischen Grenze verbracht und liebe mexikanisches Essen. Da ich mich jetzt in Deutschland befinde, würde ich sagen, das Essen war in Ordnung. Nicht umwerfend und überhaupt nicht authentisch gewürzt, aber es war okay. Der Service war gut und freundlich. Die Atmosphäre war angenehm. Ich würde wieder hingehen, aber ich bin verwöhnt, weil ich weiß, wie authentisches mexikanisches Essen schmecken sollte. Für deutsche Verhältnisse war es akzeptabel. Gut für eine größere Gruppe!

Essen super lecker und ordentlich große portionen.

Coole Location bei der man den Abend mit gutem Essen und Getränken/einer großen Cocktailauswahl verbringen kann. Vorab machten wir den Cocktailkurs. Überraschenderweise gab es hier vorher noch ein Tequila Tasting mit ein paar Infos zur Herstellung. Ein Dank für das neue Wissen und für den gelungenen Abend. Ein Gruß geht an den Tobi.

War ein super Abend wir waren schon ein paar Mal da was zum trinken und letztes Mal haben wir auch was gegessen wirklich sehr lecker

Ich bin ziemlich enttäuscht, obwohl ich sehr viel Gutes über das Restaurant gehört habe. Pluspunkt: Wir hatten keine Reservierung und haben sofort einen Tisch bekommen, was ich nicht so toll fand, dass der Service sehr lange gedauert hat, obwohl nicht wirklich viel los war . Wir mussten dreimal nachfragen für eine Box zum Einpacken und zum Zahlen. Bin auch ziemlich enttäuscht von dem Burger. Der hat geschmeckt wie aus einer Schnellimbissbude am Straßenrand. Sehr schade für den Preis und als die Bedienung gefragt hat, ob alles in Ordnung war. Hat sie nicht mal nachgefragt, als wir erwähnt haben, dass es nicht so gut war, was ich schon erwarte, weil man ja möchte wissen, wieso die Gäste nicht zufrieden sind. Die Location ist aber ziemlich schön. Aber noch ein Besuch ist es nicht wert. Sehr schade

Das Ambiente dort ist einzigartig und gemütlich. Der Service ist freundlich, wirkte aber überfordert und etwas unfreundlich, vorallem der junge Herr. Wegen dem Essen werde ich nicht mehr kommen, hier wird viek TK/Fertig- Ware verwendet, das schmeckt man. Die Wings waren u.a. ziemlich trocken. Die Preise sind hoch, für die Qualität ist es viel zu viel!

Gutes, authentisches mexikanisches Essen. Wir gehen immer wieder gerne hin.

Ambiente etwas in die Jahre gekommen, das Personal war mega super freundlich, die Preise für das Essen sind ganz schön hoch, trotzdem ist es immer Rappelvoll, ohne Reservierung manchmal schwierig. Wir hatten alle gemeinsam einen sehr schönen Abend dort, Cocktail Hour war perfekt nur 6,50€ je alkoholischer Cocktail.

Wir waren zu viert zum Essen dort, ich hatte online reserviert...klappte wunderbar. Das Essen ist sehr gut, Preis- Leistung passt auf jeden Fall. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Wenn ich etwas zu bemängeln hätte wären es die sanitären Anlagen... Die könnten eine Renovierung und vielleicht mehr Ssuberkeit vertragen.. Wir werden bestimmt wieder kommen.

Wir gehen des Öfteren hier essen und jedes Mal war der Service, sowie das Essen top.

Man kann sich kaum entscheiden ob das Essen oder das Personal besser ist. Exzellenter Service! Unser Kellner Andy war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Nur gutes!

Ich hatte gerade das Gefühl von 3 Tagen Urlaub am Meer.

Der Gasong ist einer dieser Menschen, bei denen man sofort merkt, dass sie nicht einfach „ihren Job machen“, sondern den Abend mitprägen. Alles läuft ruhig, aufmerksam und völlig selbstverständlich ab. Begrüßung, Timing, kleine Gesten zwischendurch – man fühlt sich direkt wohl und gut aufgehoben, ohne dass es jemals aufgesetzt wirkt. Unser Gasong hat immer ein Auge für den Tisch, ist präsent, ohne aufdringlich zu sein, und nimmt sich Zeit für ein paar persönliche Worte. Empfehlungen kommen entspannt und ehrlich rüber, Sonderwünsche werden unproblematisch gelöst, und man hat das Gefühl, als wäre man ein Stammgast, selbst wenn man es nicht ist. Am Ende geht man nicht nur zufrieden, sondern mit dem Gefühl, gerne wiederzukommen – weniger wegen eines einzelnen Details, sondern wegen dieses vertrauten Gesamteindrucks, den der Gasong hinterlässt.

Great burgers, everything was top-notch… except that the quality of the drinks declined as the evening progressed, but that wasn't a big deal.

Everything is absolutely fantastic except for the price, which could be lower or the portions could be more appropriate.

Pleasant atmosphere, great service and great food, we will always be happy to come back.

The food, atmosphere and service were very good.

The "tacos" were actually nachos. The filling was very bland and greasy, which was hidden under three trays. There was a piece of a quarter of a tomato in the salad. And the baguette was initially missing, so I had to ask for it, and instead of herb butter, it came with plain regular butter. €17 for three trays, a mishmash of ingredients, and a baguette. I won't be coming back.

Four of us went there for dinner on Sunday. I really enjoyed the food. It arrived surprisingly quickly. I had the Plato Para Mexican. A really good and generous portion. The shrimp were really good and not dry. The chili could have been hotter for me. I like my food a bit spicy. Everything else was also very tasty. The guacamole was very fine (pureed), which I wasn't used to, but still tasty. The weakest part was the herb baguette, which had very little flavor. I thought the homemade tortilla chips were great. All in all, I was very satisfied. I'll definitely be back.

Great service, but the food, unfortunately, was not. The chicken wings were too small for the price, and they were dry and over-fried. In the end, the price-performance ratio wasn't right...

Unfortunately, very disappointed for the first time: Food: Portions were okay; dishes (mozzarella sticks, burritos) and dips were rather bland; burritos quickly got cold because they were served sliced ​​and the plates weren't warmed; guacamole was a rather bland-tasting supermarket paste. Staff: Friendly (as always), but this time not particularly attentive and not particularly responsive to repeat orders or feedback. Atmosphere: Decor remained OK; missed the salsa music.

We went there for dinner and were very satisfied. The service was friendly and prompt! There were seven of us, and we all received our food at the same time. The portions were generously sized, and you'll definitely find something to suit your taste on the menu. The food was truly delicious. ☺️

What a gem in Kaufering! Cantina is such a cozy place with a wonderful atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious – fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. Every dish we tried was spot on. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. You can really feel the love and passion that goes into this restaurant. We felt so welcome, enjoyed every moment, and will definitely come back. Highly recommended!

This veggie wrap was once one of the best I've ever eaten. Unfortunately, after changing the recipe, it became inedible and drowned in siracha sauce. I couldn't finish the second half, and unfortunately, neither could anyone else at the table.

The spinach burrito and especially the jalapeño sauce on the steak were a highlight :)

Unfortunately, the food matched the overall run-down ambiance: my Mexican platter consisted mostly of ready-made ingredients or cheap meat and shrimp. The guacamole was also a ready-made sauce. And the baguette just tasted dry. My companion got a stomachache from the chill. The service was friendly, but unprofessional. And the premises have hardly been changed in about 40 years. The basement and restrooms look accordingly. But at least it evoked nostalgic memories.

Our family's favorite restaurant! We've enjoyed Cantina Charlotta on and off over the past 10 years. To be honest, we weren't that impressed with the food at times, but since we made a reservation a few weeks ago, we've been blown away! We ordered many different dishes, and everything tasted fantastic and looked amazing! The cocktails were also cleverly decorated and incredibly delicious. Our children, ages 1-11, also love the play area. The staff is incredibly friendly, quick, and attentive - best wishes to Lena :) I'm so happy to have rediscovered Cantina Charlotta - I highly recommend it!

If you like Mexican food, you've come to the right place.

The tacos (tuna) were soggy and had little flavor in my opinion. The portion was also quite small compared to the other dishes there.

It was delicious, and I'll definitely visit again. I highly recommend it.

We visited the Cantina for the first time today. The service is excellent, as are the food and drinks. The prices are absolutely reasonable. We can only recommend it.

The ambiance is generally well-designed, with several different room concepts in a very large area. Unfortunately, despite soundproofing with Plexiglas, the outdoor area isn't immune to the traffic noise from the main road, which can't be drowned out by the same three songs playing in the background. I wouldn't want to hear "Am Sack von Udo" three times in 90 minutes. Every restaurant these days boasts about the high quality of their local butcher shop; at €35 for a steak, that quality should be noticeable... Well, maybe they don't source the meat locally anymore or send the chef for further training; the price-performance ratio here is unfortunately not right. Preparing a completely tasteless baked potato is certainly a skill, but the question is what it achieves. Overall, one can only praise the service, which is fast and friendly; there's room for improvement on other fronts.

Very friendly service, delicious food, reasonable price, nice ambience

Our "regular" spot is always worth a visit. I especially like the spare ribs, which you can suck off the bone 🤤🤤🤤 But the burgers and typical Mexican dishes are also delicious. The cocktails are always excellent.

Cantina used to be a great restaurant a long time ago, but that was a long time ago. The crowd of waiters preferred dancing to attending to the guests... at times it seemed like a courtship dance... even when one of the many employees was at the table, the guest wasn't asked if they wanted their empty glasses filled. The food came straight from the freezer into the fryer, barely recognizing what type of meat it was. The burger patties were half the size of buns. The cocktails were carelessly spit into the glasses and tasted bad. There were eight of us and we left after the meal because we weren't served... it seemed like they didn't want to make any money. We can't recommend the restaurant or the food!

The staff is friendly, and we had peace and quiet in the back outdoor area despite the full house. Unfortunately, the food is the worst thing about this place; it's just Tex-Mex food, and that's how it tastes. Personally, I'd prefer a few authentic Mexican dishes to choose from, like birria tacos, for example.

We ordered two different burritos – they tasted of nothing. The fresh ingredients were a plus, but the seasoning was completely lacking. 🤔 Service was very friendly, but we had to wait too long for our drinks and to pay. We only ate half because we were so hungry, and all we got was a "I'll tell the kitchen." Hopefully, this is just an exception...

Three of us went to Cantina Charlotta today and were once again extremely satisfied. Special mention goes to our server, Lena. These days, it's unfortunately no longer a given to receive such courteous, polite, friendly, and attentive service. Thank you so much for that!

Just an honest experience - generally OK... We were there with a medium-sized group. The welcome and initial service were good and prompt. The food also arrived promptly. Unfortunately, the potato wedges on several burgers were cold. Over the course of the evening, many empty glasses were left lying around for too long - they should have asked for more quickly.

We've been coming here every now and again for about 20 years now, which speaks volumes about the cantina. However, the quality/service sometimes fluctuates. Sometimes you eat a dish and it's incredibly delicious, while the next time it's rather so-so. One thing that could generally be improved is the cleanliness of the restrooms. The staff are a big plus! We've always experienced friendly and cheerful staff.

The quality of the food is now only average and the portion size is very manageable.

So if the food there is supposed to be Mexican, then we would look for another destination. But for anyone who knows Mexico and the brilliant cuisine there, Charlotta is a real turn-off. French fries and french fries, greasy preparation, bland guacamole from the glass and baguette on the plate - you can also have that in Mexico if you only ever go to McDonald's there. We felt completely uncomfortable after eating. It's a shame, the seats are quite nice.

Was there for the milonga. In the basement. It's nice, but the dancers bump into other dance couples. Pretty dark in the basement. You have to get drinks at the bar upstairs

The food was very good and there was a large selection of cocktails. We tried several and they all tasted good. The map is generally very extensive. There wasn't a lot going on that evening, but the drinks sometimes took over 20 minutes to reach the table. We sat at a table right next to the bar and saw our finished cocktails and the ice melting. That was a bit of a shame. The food also came at very different times. Some were almost finished eating when the last people got their dishes. When we spoke to the waitress she also apologized. We'll try it again and see if it works better this time

The three of us had lunch there today. The atmosphere and service were very good and attentive. Unfortunately the burger meat was definitely not fresh but frozen! You could immediately tell by the consistency and taste!

Nice atmosphere, delicious food

I haven't been here for 2 years (because me and my friends didn't like it anymore). Last Saturday I was convinced of the complete opposite. The whole service and all 6 dishes were perfect. The ambience was also great, even though the whole place was full. Luckily we had reservations. I only drank water, but my friends' cocktails and drinks looked great too. There are parking spaces directly in front of the restaurant. The selection of dishes is amazing: vegetarians and vegans have a lot of different options. I had the steak and any special requests were catered for. I'll definitely come back.

I've been going to the Cantina regularly for about 10 years. The food is still very good, but the ambience leaves more and more to be desired. I understand that you want to provide space for the ever-growing audience, but the additional rooms, which are, in my opinion, carelessly furnished and far too noisy (sound insulation on the walls and ceiling would be a good idea, as well as an air supply) ensure that I won't come back.

A recommended restaurant in Landsberg... often a lot of visitors/younger crowd... price performance 👌 🆗️... nice staff and parking spaces on site. There were slight reductions in the prawns in sauce.

I can recommend because of the quality of the food although the service wasn't that good. The 2 girls were very friendly but overwhelmed because there were many guests at lunch. It all took too much time. Ordered coffee but no time to drink anymore.

I recommend the salsa parties. The DJ plays very nice Kizomba and really good Cuban salsa. The dance floor is big, the people are very nice.

I really like it here. Delicious food, great cocktails and also a large selection, authentic ambience. I find it a bit expensive now, so unfortunately not for every day for me.
