Really good chili con carne with cheese…. We would be happy to come back again at any time in this beautiful atmosphere and the friendly service….

We were here again for the first time in probably 15 years. The restaurant is very nice, we thought the food was great and the service was also very quick, friendly and simply perfect 👍 We'll be back, but this time we won't wait another 15 years 😅

Our “local restaurant” is always worth a visit. I particularly like the spare ribs that you can suck off the bone 🤤🤤🤤 But the burgers and typical Mexican dishes are also delicious. Due cocktails are always great.

Great cocktails and the Mexican dishes are really recommended. Unfortunately, burgers and meat dishes are no longer as convincing as they used to be. I think the specials and happy hour are very cool.

The service is consistently top, the food is solid and the atmosphere is inviting. There is a play area for children. For years I have enjoyed coming to the Cantina with work colleagues for a few beers and with the children for dinner. Class 😎

We ate in the Cantina for the first time in about 3 years and it was very disappointing. The service was good, the food terrible. The price-performance ratio is absolutely not right. Our fajitas no longer tasted Mexican at all. If there had been rice, it would have passed for Asian food. No corn, no beans, the guacamole and the salsa were subpar. We've been here more often in the past and have always been very satisfied. It's a shame, we won't be coming back.

I can't understand the bad reviews... the service was very friendly and attentive, the Mexican burger with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers was very good... okay, the tortilla chips were a bit "lame".... but all in all 👍

I've only heard good things so far, unfortunately the visit was disappointing. Unfortunately it didn't suit my taste - the taste was rather boring. Ate a burger and the appetizer platter.

From the reception to the closing everything was a dream! The waitress is very attentive and does his job very well. Cocktails and food are A1. In terms of price, everything is totally reasonable. We'd love to come by again. See you soon

Was able to organize a wedding for two people with intellectual disabilities and they both wanted to celebrate their big day here. The head of Cantina Charlotta took a lot of time in preparation, there were two personal meetings and then repeated active inquiries from him via email when open questions arose. The buffet offered on the wedding day was excellent and I had the impression that the bride and groom's guests were more than satisfied. The waiters were all very friendly and patient and helpful with the selection when our residents ordered. Thank you very much for your commitment, from my side definitely 5 out of 5 stars in all categories... :)

I just had the feeling of a 3 day vacation by the sea.

Cantina Charlotta didn't convince me. The food tastes average at best and if you go out to eat often - like me - then you realize that you can eat much better and of higher quality elsewhere. Honestly, everything tasted more like a ready meal. What struck me positively was that there were many vegan and vegetarian dishes. The cocktails also tasted average and mostly consisted of ice and foam. The service was also not convincing. It seemed as if there were a lot of student assistants working there who were neither particularly friendly nor particularly attentive. Long periods of time went by without anyone coming to our table. In the Landsberg area there are numerous restaurants where you can eat better and of higher quality. You probably have to look for a good Mexican in Augsburg or Munich.

I was here for dinner with a companion on a Saturday evening. Things were mediocre. The Mexican was fine, from the portion to the taste. However, the burger was a complete disappointment. Frozen patties that were really dry and tough and no taste at all. It's a shame, I would have liked the patties to be made in-house at a place like this. Service staff was very nice and accommodating.

Spontaneous visit also got a table, ordered the cheeseburger, well... the bun was totally chewy and soft, a pickle would be nicer than a cucumber, and I won't eat the potato wedges, some of them raw. The service was very friendly, especially the bartender team was super nice and friendly. I received a free cocktail for my birthday

I ordered chili con carne with cheese gratin and ordered it spicy. Unfortunately, the jalapeños weren't spicy and I had to add a habanero sauce to increase the spiciness. Otherwise the food was delicious.

The salsa dance evening was excellent.

I was there years ago and everything was good. But this time it was the toilet grab. The food was completely over-seasoned, the burger was just bland. The buffalo wings simply dipped in a tomato sauce with a bland taste of something. It's a shame 😔 not anymore!

Had to wait longer today, but generally a recommendation! Very good Mexican food, very good cocktails, a little more expensive (inflation), but has happy hour. After a cinema tour around the corner (Kaufering), you get a small discount with a cinema ticket. Reservations recommended.

Very good service. Very attentive. Food very good. Supposedly had the hottest. Dish was also well seasoned. But I'm not the standard either. The Indian is no longer spicy enough for me either.

Has nothing to do with authentic Mexican food. Anyone who thinks the food there is “good” has probably never eaten tacos in Southern California or Mexico… but wasn’t expecting anything different.

Spontaneous visit due to capricious weather🌩🌨🌪... even the reservation by phone was very nice! Unfortunately it was very stuffy inside, but in my opinion this was due to the weather conditions, so we ended up sitting in the covered outdoor area. Our service was quick and friendly - unfortunately there are only four stars for the food because the nachos were unfortunately limp and my ribs were quite dry. The ambience ranges from beautiful decoration and a bit of playfulness to tacky - but I think that's what you want 😉.

They serve lovely tex-mex style food and have fun cocktails with Haribo on the straws, their ice tea is some of the best I've ever had!

A Mexican that conveys authentic flair. Great cocktails, delicious food, little space, crowded and loud. Be sure to reserve! You can also use the answering machine by phone, it really works 😉 Always recommended, for years. Unfortunately, it has now become very expensive, which is actually really exaggerated, especially since we don't have rental prices here like in Munich.

The service is always friendly and courteous. The atmosphere is very cozy and typically Mexican. The food is of medium quality and is no longer cheap for a Mexican restaurant, but the cocktails are excellent and the price is completely reasonable. At happy hour you can look forward to a generous discount on cocktails. The discount by showing the cinema ticket no longer works since the switch to digital cinema tickets. I would delete the offer or adjust it accordingly. Ideal for a nice evening with friends or a visit for dinner before going to the cinema. I give it 3.5* + half a sympathy star 😉

Great ambience, great food (as far as we can judge, since we only ate half of it) but unfortunately the service is miserable, our experience was that only young and inexperienced service staff work here, long waiting time for the order to be taken, just as long waiting time, until the drinks came, and after almost an hour the main course and starter came at the same time, we were in the restaurant with a small child, I don't even want to talk about that, if you wanted, experienced staff could pay extra attention here too. The table was not cleared of dirty dishes independently, and empty drinks were not noticed by the staff. Anyone who was attentive here would sell twice as much, after all, they deserve something for drinks. What was remarkable, however, was the accommodating handling of the situation by the senior staff; in the end we didn't have to do anything Pay.

Standard Mexican, like you often find in Germany. But price-performance fits.

Food below average, service ok! I have given the restaurant several chances but unfortunately the food is below average. If a Mexican can't even make real guacomole and serves it instead of some cheap dip, that says it all. And that's exactly how it runs through the entire range. The cocktails and service are quite good.

We were pleased that, according to the website, everything is freshly prepared here. The premises are really great and the staff was very nice. Unfortunately the food was a complete disappointment. We had a colorful mix of finger food, burgers and Tex Mex at the table... we can't recommend a single dish of them... extremely greasy and hardly any taste. Unfortunately, the bagged goods from discounters taste better. It's simply too expensive for that because a lot of it is filled with cheap components (e.g. tortilla chips) and skimps on the better things. You can skip the cocktails at happy hour... It's a shame, because with good food it would be a nice shop. We really tried a lot of things on the menu and left almost 200 euros for the four of us, but unfortunately we can't recommend Cantina Charlotta.

The ambience fits the theme, very cozy...but the food doesn't have much of a Mexican feel to it. I had the nachos with tuna...which couldn't be defined in terms of taste. The typical Mexican spices were missing. Very nice staff.

Waiters are sometimes overwhelmed by the many guests. Eat good. Price performance varies greatly. Example vegetarian fajitad are hopelessly overpriced, while other portions are huge. Cocktails very tasty.

Arranging a table reservation with an answering machine was new and questionable for me. However, it surprisingly led to success. The restaurant wasn't overly crowded on New Year's Eve. So it shouldn't contribute to any stress in the kitchen. The food was also served on time. A small spider was also included with a drink. With three meals ordered, all served at the same time, no one was satisfied. My turkey steak was dry and cold. The accompanying herb butter was so cold that you couldn't even cut it with a knife. It is therefore impossible to melt on the cold steak. The herb butter also didn't contain any pieces of herbs. The portion could have been a little larger. Likewise the plate. At first you had to be careful when cutting that the fries didn't fall off the plate. The salad also came in a bowl that was too small. Accordingly, the price-performance ratio is by no means justified. All three of us had eaten much better and, above all, cheaper. Luckily, when we paid, the waitress asked how it tasted. The defects were reported. Unfortunately, apart from an apology, there was nothing more. A little schnapps for a nice compensation would have been appropriate here. My result: For me there is no seeing you again and no recommendation.

I thought I had already rated the place positively! Back then we sat outside during Corona times. Nice and large restaurant and appropriately decorated! So the ambience is great! It's better to reserve in advance! We were there (reserved) and everything was full! We had an appetizer platter for 2! Very good and plentiful! Something from everyone! Afterwards we both had different tacos! It was really tasty and also plentiful. We were more than full afterwards. Everything is served warm and freshly prepared (you can tell by the vegetables). Cocktail was very good (Mister Hu). Service was very nice and attentive! It wasn't cheap, but for the food and everything, it's fine!

Went here again for dinner after years. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Starters with delicious dips and the very good veggie wrap were my choice.

Delicious Mexican with good cocktails. The food is fresh and homemade, you can tell. Although it's usually quite busy, it's not crowded and the service keeps everything under control. Kids are also welcome and can romp around in the large play area in the corner if they get too bored at the table.

Cooler Laden und sehr leckeres Essen

Das ist ein sehr toller Mexikaner. Waren nach dem Augsburger Zoo dort. Wir bekamen auch abends um 8 Uhr ohne Reservierung ganz problemlos einen Tisch für 5. Die Service - Kräfte waren alle sehr lieb und freundlich. Die Cocktails sind auch sehr lecker und auch das Essen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Super Lokal, man wird auf Vorbestellung platziert. Erhält aber über 15 Minuten keine Karte. Sitzt nur rum und schaut wie andere Gäste bedient werden. Die werden platziert und erhalten sofort die Speicherkarte. So vergingen 25 Minuten bevor wir etwas zu Trinken bestellen konnten. Der Kellner war sehr nett und entschuldigte sich. Trotzdem waren wir die ersten im Raum, die zu letzt das Essen erhielten. FRUSTRIEREND!!! Das Essen war super, die Bedienung nett, aber total unorganisiert. SORRY.

Wenn etwas in der Küche unvorhergesehenes passiert, dann muss man als Gast Verständnis haben. Das kommt vor. Schön, wäre gewesen, wenn die Geschäftsleitung nach einer Stunde(!) an den Tisch gekommen wäre, und die Situation erklärt hätte, ohne groß aus dem Nähkästchen zu plaudern. Dann hätte man entscheiden können. So mussten wir an die Theke gehen. Das Service-Personal hat sich vier oder fünf mal entschuldigt, da sollte jemand anders die Situation kurz erklären. Getränke gezahlt und hungrig gegangen. Dauert jetzt etwas, bis wir es wieder probieren....

Ich kenne die cantina seit mehr als 20 Jahren habe aber nun den Eindruck wie wenn das Essen etwas nachlässt aber trotzdem ein schönes Ambiente

Sehr große Auswahl, dazu große Portionen. Es war sehr lecker! Hatten vorspeise, zwei Hauptspeisen und Nachspeise und waren unter 70 Euro. Da kann man wirklich nichts sagen! Das Essen kam recht schnell und der Service war sehr nett.

wir vebinden dort das gute Essen mit der Latinparty. Einfach zu empfehlen, trotz des heftigen Schneefalls am Samstag 02.12.23 hat die Fahrt von 80 km sich gelohnt
