We celebrated New Year's Eve there. Beautifully decorated, great atmosphere, fantastic shows throughout the evening, delicious four-course meal, and prompt service. The food was very tasty, and the drinks and cocktails were simply superb. The music was great, simply excellent for the price, thank you! 👍

We were out for dinner in November as a group of five when the waiter spilled drinks, leaving my partner and me completely soaked. We had to move to another table. Although the manager was present, there was neither an apology nor any attempt at compensation – the bill arrived in full. Very disappointing; this is no way to treat guests. While the food itself was good, we had to wait an extremely long time for everything. Overall, a disappointing experience.

The nachos as an appetizer were delicious and a very generous portion. The service was very friendly.

My colleagues and I were here for the Christmas party. Everyone loved it. The food was absolutely delicious.

Beautiful place and friendly staff

We've been coming here for lunch for several years now. A new waitress has been working the early shift for the past few months. And we'd like to give her a special shout-out. She's so much more enthusiastic, in a better mood, and more present in the restaurant. We didn't really experience that before. As a result, the food tastes better, and we usually order dessert or a delicious cocktail afterward. Dear management, this waitress is fantastic! (And aside from the food, which is always delicious 😜)

Unfortunately, we tried this restaurant for takeout after moving nearby. While I don't expect authentic Mexican cuisine in Europe, the food was truly awful. The "fajitas" were a pile of boiled vegetables that looked like they'd never seen a pan or grill. They were 80% carrots and contained hardly any peppers or onions. A bizarre mix that tasted more like Asian than Mexican spices. Part of our order was also missing. They did offer to compensate us next time if we mentioned it, but since the food was so bad, we won't be ordering from there again. The prices seemed ridiculous considering what we received.

Consistently delicious food and friendly service. The best Mexican restaurant in southern Berlin. Seating can be a bit cramped for larger groups.

Oh my goodness. How great can a restaurant visit in Berlin be? I'll spare you the text here. Get up, come here, drink and eat... Tip: Cancun platter (the one with the meat) for two people and Duckstein's wheat beer specialty (on tap!!!). Miamiam. and ROOSELOOSE out.

Highly recommended. Not your typical run-of-the-mill Mexican food, but really very well-seasoned. A bit more expensive, though. In addition to the regular restaurant, there's also a very large covered roof terrace.

Perfect location, excellent food & cocktails. Our waitress Selina was a 15 out of 10 – super friendly and competent. We'll definitely be back for Derby Weekend.

Definitely worth a visit: lovely ambiance with a terrace, friendly service, and, above all, excellent quality food. A little tip: the Cancún platter is enough for 3-4 people…highly recommended!

I didn't like it. The steak was tough, and there was a lot of noise on the terrace. We had a meeting there, and we couldn't really sit together.

Very tasty food. Lunch menu until 4:00 PM, I think from 11:00 AM. I find the chicken often tastes burnt when it's grilled. But otherwise, it's a pleasant place.

I've been there three or four times, and I have to say it was and always is delicious. It looks beautiful, and the service was, as always, more than just top-notch. I'd love to eat there again with my family. Thank you

Usually very loud, food and service quite okay

This restaurant has been delivering solid quality for years. The cheese-topped dishes are quite heavy and too heavy for me personally. However, there are plenty of good alternatives. The dips, like guacamole, are always delicious. You can definitely tell that the restaurant industry is a bit like that, but you also know exactly what you're getting.

I had a very relaxed evening here with a friend. The food was typically Mexican! The menu offers everything from fajitas to burgers. The rooftop terrace is a lovely place to sit and enjoy a cocktail. My only criticism: the downstairs restaurant area was very noisy.

The food is good. The cocktails are delicious, but there's far too much to choose from. The menu isn't well-stocked. Unfortunately, we had to wait a long time to order. The cocktails sat at the bar for 10 minutes before they were brought to us.

Inside, the Cancun is beautifully decorated in a Mexican style. Unfortunately, it was extremely cramped on the upper terrace – you feel like a sardine! The tables are so close together that there's hardly any privacy. With larger groups, it quickly becomes loud and uncomfortable. It's a shame, because that spoils the atmosphere. We'd love to come back in the winter, though – inside!

Not the cheapest place, but everything is delicious and highly recommended. Friendly service, a pleasant atmosphere, and great cocktails.

Hello everyone, The four of us were on the terrace last night and had a really good time. Lea, the waitress, was simply fantastic. She gave us great advice and served us really quickly. The only downside is that we can't be there as often as we'd like. The dish Lea recommended was so delicious and varied that we were all quite full. So, a big thank you and praise to our colleagues in the kitchen.

Luckily, we somehow had a reservation today. It was actually more like, "You're only allowed to stay for a certain amount of time." Now that we know, we'll reserve a few days in advance. The service was unbeatable; friendly, nice, and they politely asked if we wanted anything else. Not pushy. Stay as you are, it's great 😉

I was there again after a long absence (2-3 years). I was pleasantly surprised that the food was delicious again, just like it used to be.

We've been there several times and have always been satisfied. The food isn't cheap, but the portions justify the price. Most importantly... it's always delicious! The staff is always very friendly and patient. One point deducted for the fact that the tables are so close together and it gets extremely loud when it's full. So far, every time we've visited, the receptionist has said, "You can't pay by card today." Apparently, we have a knack for coming here on these days, or there's a general problem with it. 🤷‍♂️

The reserved birthday table was beautifully decorated, the food was delicious, and the ordered dishes were served at the same time, which I think is great. The service was very friendly and attentive, and at the end, there was a delicious birthday surprise on the house, including a drink, with music (Happy Birthday) playing in the background – a really nice gesture! I've enjoyed coming back to the Cancun for over 20 years; I've celebrated everything from baptisms to birthdays. I'll remain loyal to the Cancun; it simply never disappoints! 👌🏼

The three of us were there on Mother's Day. Waited 1.5 hours for the food. One person got their food 30 minutes before the others. A guest asked for the unpacked food to be packed, which was confirmed. After a long wait, we asked and were told that the remaining food had been thrown away in the kitchen. Patsy reaction to our question as to whether something would be financially possible or whether other compensation would be considered. After customer-unfriendly denials, we left the restaurant disappointed and very angry. It's a shame, we've been to this restaurant several times.

Dear team Cancun On May 12, 2025 between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. we were guests in Cancun. There were four of us guests and we sat on the terrace. We were served by a young waiter. When I ordered it was still ok. I don't know if it's okay for a guest to get food first and drinks second. I notice that the restaurant wasn't full. We got tea without a spoon, soup without a spoon... The salad and the hamburgers weren't washed properly... When we paid we got the wrong bill at the end of the evening, but since I also work in the catering industry, we told the waiter that we wanted to pay our bill... as a thank you we received a strange thank you with a sneering smile. He can't be mad, we'll be back, but I think some employees should be better trained to express themselves differently and approach people. I understand that it is very difficult to find good staff even these days. The bill was over 40 euros less...

Without a reservation, the two of us got a place on the new, chic roof terrace 👍🏼 The service is fast and friendly 😊 The food is hot, tasty and the portion size is not too big.

We waited 90 minutes for the food, and we had to wait another 30 minutes for dessert, and that was despite the restaurant being largely empty. There was no justification either. Completely unacceptable.

We always enjoy being here, the food and drinks are always delicious too. But today everything was different than nice. Ordered food around 6:40 p.m., it's just 8 p.m., food is still there... Attempting to have a conversation wasn't possible either because he wasn't in the warehouse to say a nice "sorry". Our waitress tried to apologize to us nicely but the supposed boss was just arrogant…. It's a shame that you have to experience something like that in such a beautiful restaurant...

Actually everything was great as always, except for the waitress named Lea. Very poor service, wrote down the order incorrectly and from then on she was passive aggressive. When the corrected pizza arrived, the pizza was cut, although the salami, which was also uncooked and cold, was not cut, so you can assume that the same pizza was used and only the toppings were changed. She didn't apologize for anything and was generally childish and unfriendly in her behavior. Accordingly, I would not recommend it to any guest. Very unfortunate because we really like Cancún and the service is otherwise really great.

Very tasty, good value for money

Recommended for eating à la carte, but not for brunch. We were there for Easter brunch and were a little disappointed. The food selection was a bit poor, with scrambled eggs (which were, however, quite tasty) missing. B. Bacon, the Cevapcici were no longer available after an hour. Tortillas for the fajitas were missing, as were typical Mexican finger food. Refilling was always only done upon request. For 20 euros excl. There are better coffee/tea/juice options. Therefore only three stars. But as I said, always happy with normal food, that would give it at least 4 stars.

The food is excellent and comes to the table quickly. So far there hasn't been anything that wasn't tasty. The prices are justified. The service is always friendly! You can't complain about that either. The cocktails are very tasty and well mixed.

It's okay, but you can't call it Mexican food. The mole sauce is not recommended in any way! They sell a terrible chocolate pudding sauce that has nothing to do with the original Mexican sauce made from chili peppers and many other ingredients. Tortillas are industrially manufactured. No effort on good food. Reviews below 3 stars will be deleted, that's why such a good rating.

Essen war etwas versalzen, aber sonst okay. Das Fassbier ist leider immer schal, weswegen ich immer zu Flaschenbier greife.

The service is great and the food is plentiful and tasty. The disadvantage is that the tables are too small! There is hardly any space for 6 people at 2 tables. At the birthday party, the table is decorated with balloons and there is a small gift from the house.

I ordered takeaway. The food was very tasty. Since I wanted a different sauce, I was charged extra for it, but it wasn't put in the bag. So I had no sauce. Annoying. There was a lot of fruit in the Ipanema cocktail like strawberries, physalis and a pickled cherry where only lime really belongs. :(

The perfect ending to Valentine's Day! My fiancé and I spontaneously made a reservation at the Mexican restaurant without any great expectations - and were completely surprised! As soon as we entered we were warmly welcomed and greeted with a glass of champagne. The loving decoration with heart balloons, roses on every seat and a DJ with suitable music created a great atmosphere. The music wasn't too loud, so you could have a pleasant conversation at any time. The food was incredibly delicious, the menus were new, and despite Valentine's Day we didn't have to wait long for drinks or food. The service was attentive, friendly and at the end there was even a rose to add to the bill. An all-round perfect evening – we would love to come back!

Nach langer Zeit wieder mal eingekehrt mit meiner Freundin. Waren Nachmittags schon da. Bis 16 Uhr gibt es ein Angebot, Essen mit Getränk für nur 9,50 €. Ambiente und Service gut, Essen geschmackvoll und wurde sehr schnell serviert. Kommen gerne wieder.

I had a burger with barbecue sauce, it was nicely prepared and plentiful. Unfortunately the sauce tasted strongly of fish. Too bad.

Ich komme immer wieder gerne hier her. Das Essen ist super lecker, die Leute die dort arbeiten sind immer nett und gut gelaunt und dir Atmosphäre ist auch seht angenehm.

It's always nice to eat and enjoy cocktails here. We always come very spontaneously, but so far it has always worked out. However, I can only recommend making a reservation.
