Super Angebot, super lecker, große Portionen, und super nettes Personal

17.07.2026 und wir waren sehr enttäuscht. Ich wollte ein kleines Glas Tonic, bekam jedoch 0,4 l , - OK toleriert. Dann bekam ich mein Rumsteak statt medium, aussen schwarz und innen braun und mit der Konsistenz einer Schuhsohle. Also habe ich es reklamiert. Das 2. Rumsteak war medium aber teilweise nicht verzehrbar und wohl eher für ein Raubtiergebis geeignet. Also haben wir uns zum Trost 2 Cocktails bestellt, bei denen der Barkeeper wohl mit Rücksicht auf unsere Gesundheit, auf die Zugabe von Alkohol verzichtet hat und am Glasrand eine Scheibe Ananas positioniert hat, die dicke braune vergammelte stellen stellen hatte und ungenießbar war. Unsere Hinweise zur schlechten Qualität der Speisen und Getränke, quittierte das Personal wortlos und mit gleichgültiger Mine.

Ist ganz ok. Gibt bloß halt überall die Kartoffelspalten dazu und damit werden sogar Vorspeisen gestreckt.

An dem Eichenbaum an der Außenterrasse ist ein gefährliches Eichenprozessionsspinnernest. Der Bereich müsste sofort geschlossen werden. Die Bedienung ist eine absolute Katastrophe. Reservierung telefonisch wurde vergessen falsches Essen geliefert. Bier ungenießbar. Essen ist ok.

Ich fand es hier rundum schön. Leckeres Essen, auch viel Auswahl, da ist für jeden was dabei. Schöne Aussicht aufs Wasser.

Sehr einladend mit großer Terrasse und Blick aufs Wasser. Service sehr freundlich und eine große Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken. Das Essen sowie die Cocktails waren sehr lecker. Auch bei einer größeren Gesellschaft ist es kein Problem getrennt zu zahlen. Allerdings war nur Barzahlung möglich, was auch kein Problem ist, wenn man es vorher weiß. Auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert!

unverschämte Bedienung mit Deutschproblemen, die mir einreden wollte, ich hätte was anderes bestellt, und sich dann weigerte, das (falsche) Gericht zurückzunehmen und mir mein bestelltes Essen zu bringen.

Das Essen war lecker. Allerdings saßen wir im Außenbereich direkt unter einem Baum, der von Eichen-Prozessionsspinnern befallen war. Wir alle (4 Erwachsene + Kleinkind) haben nach dem Restaurantbesuch starken Ausschlag an Armen und Beinen bekommen. Wir hatten tatsächlich eine Raupe gesehen, als wir uns hinsetzen wollten, haben die ganze Sache aber (leider) nicht ernst genommen. Ein Mitarbeiter "beruhigte" uns außerdem mit den Worten: "Ist nicht so schlimm, das ist eben die Natur, da kann man nichts machen.". Ich finde als gastronomische Einrichtung sollte man da sehr wohl etwas tun. Zum Beispiel die Nester entfernen lassen, den Bereich absperren oder zumindest einen Hinweis aufhängen, dass man dort auf eigene Gefahr sitzt. Wir kommen im Sommer jedenfalls nicht nochmal wieder und würden es auch niemandem empfehlen.

War leider sehr enttäuscht. Essen eigentlich okay aber nicht der Rede wert. Im Bier 5 kleine schwarze Krümel. Erster Löffel aus der fajita,gleich ein dickes schwarzes Haar auf dem weizenfladen. Gastgeber zeigte sich aber einigermaßen kulant.

Location ist toll, Service geht in Ordnung, aber das Essen ist nicht so dolle. Hatte die veganen Tacos, sehr labrig, bereits eingerissen, ließen sich nicht ordentlich essen, geschmacklich eine 2/5. Die Mozzarellasticks waren eine 3/5 und der Beilagensalat 2/5.

Schon lange nicht mehr so schlecht gegessen. Viel zu salzig, hat insgesamt nichts mit mexikanischer Küche zu tun.

Schöne terasse . Personal leider unfreundlich … ein Lächeln beim bestellen und das wars … wenn man sich umdreht ist jeder wusch zu viel … Bestellungen dauern leider lange … bzw gehen die Bedingungen ohne zu schauen und Beachtung an einen vorbei .

Wir waren an einem gut belebten Tag im Außenbereich, haben aber sofort einen Tisch bekommen. Bedient wurde freundlich und sehr zügig, Essen und Getränke gab es innerhalb von 20min, das war sehr schnell. Das Essen war gut, so wie Europäer sich eben mexikanisch vorstellen ;-) tatsächlich roch man leider die Toiletten bis draußen und sie sind im 2. Stock ohne lift, für beeinträchtigte habe ich zumindest keine Alternative gesehen. Weil es so unangenehm roch, war ich nicht weiter drin. Aber draußen war es recht schön, einzig die Stühle waren doch sehr tief und etwas unbequem und ich würde Tische nicht mit der Hand abwischen ;-) Alles in allem aber nett und eine gute Alternative zur 23€-leber-mit-kartoffelpüree nebenan. Update 2026.05: same, nur dass es Mitte Mai noch sehr unterbesucht war. Leider cash only, aber PayPal hat uns gerettet :-)

Nur Barzahlung, und die Verständigung war etwas schwierig. Das Essen ist wesentlich besser als die Cocktails. Der Service war freundlich und bemüht, insgesamt ein netter Abend.

Schrecklich. Wie kamen in der Hoffnung auf tolles mexikanisches Essen. Aber Toilette eklig (wirklich sehr eklig). Die Bedienung hat nichts verstanden (eigentlich nur Englisch, aber selbst das nicht sehr gut). Das Steak habe ich beim ersten Mal zurückgehen lassen (ich habe WELL DONE bestellt und fast alles war noch rosa), dann kam der Chef (und meinte er kümmert sich darum), dann kam das zweite Mal das Steak (wieder rosa :/ ) und ich habe einfach die Teile gegessen, die nicht ganz so rosa waren. Absolut schrecklich. Dann wurde ich hinterher angemeckert vom Chef, dass doch so viel wieder zurückgegangen ist, dabei war sehr gut ersichtlich, dass das Fleisch nicht well done war. Getränke oke, aber werden nie wieder dahin gehen und kann es keinem raten, der nicht gerade aus Spaß 60€ zu viel hat.

Das Essen ist immer sehr lecker, es gibt eine große Auswahl. Draußen und auch drinnen sitzt man prima. Der Service ist gut, nur wenn's voll wird, muss man öfter mal warten, bis jemand zum Tisch kommt.

Das beste Mexikanische Restaurant in der Köpenicker Altstadt. Wer auf eine fruchtig, scharfe Geschmacksexplosion steht ist hier genau richtig. Das Essen ist auf einer Skala von 1-10 eine deutliche 20 und die Bedienung ist sehr schnell und sehr zuvorkommend. Ich kann es nur nachdrücklich weiter empfehlen. Auch wenn dieses Restaurant zu einer Kette gehört, hat es doch ein eigenes und authentisches Ambiente. Es gibt außerdem einen großen Saal und einen gemütlichen Hofgarten an der Spree. Ich war heute wieder da und sehe meine alte Rezension nur bestätigt.

Amor Restaurant – Altstadt Köpenick begeistert mit mediterranen Spezialitäten und einer romantischen Atmosphäre. Der freundliche Service und die schöne Lage machen den Besuch besonders angenehm.

Also das Restaurant an sich ist sehr schön gestaltet. Allerdings kann man ausschließlich in Bar bezahlen. Zur Toilette muss man eine Treppe hoch, diese ist aber leider sehr in die Jahre gekommen und wenn es draußen dunkel wird, muss man sich schon vorher einprägen wo der Lichtschalter ist, denn sonst steht man im Dunkeln. Das essen ist lecker und ausreichend. Den Service empfinde ich persönlich als sehr aufdrängend, wir waren als Mädels Truppe unterwegs und habe während des Aussuchen schon gequatscht und immer wieder gesagt das wir noch einen Moment brauchen. Nicht alle verstehen deutsch im Restaurant, was es schwierig macht eine Bestellung aufzugeben oder fragen dazu zu stellen. Auch wurde immer beim Essen schon geschaut ob sie Teller abräumen können, dies empfanden wir als unangenehm. Die Cocktails und Shakes waren sehr lecker, Heiße Schokolade kann ich leider gar nicht empfehlen.

Das Essen war lecker, das Restaurant ist schön eingerichtet und sehr atmosphärisch. Großer Pluspunkt ist die große Auswahl und die mega guten Cocktails wovon es super viel Auswahl gibt. Wir waren am Valentinstag da und uns wurde schnell klar, dass wir mehr Zeit einplanen müssen. Wir warteten fast 3 Stunden auf unser Essen und wurden teilweise stundenlang nicht bedient. Als wir kurz davor waren zu gehen, kam unser Essen und wie zahlten gleich. An anderen Tischen kam es dazu, dass welche die später da viel waren eher Essen bekamen. Eine große Geburtstags-Gruppe wartete noch länger als wir. Leider wirkte alles sehr unorganisiert. Wir kommen vielleicht nochmal, aber auf jeden Fall nicht am Valentinstag.

Essen wahrscheinlich gut, aber bestellen sollte man nicht. Wir haben eine Bestätigung mit Lieferzeitpunkt zu 19:05 Uhr erhalten. Als um 19:45 Uhr noch kein Essen angekommen war haben wir versucht das Restaurant zu erreichen. Das Gespräch war mangels Deutsch der Beschäftigten kaum möglich und es wurde seitens des Restaurants aufgelegt. Wir haben es öfter probiert... Ende des Liedes... Das Essen kam fast kalt um 20:30 Uhr an.

Das Restaurant Amor in Berlin-Köpenick bietet ein angenehmes, leicht „mexikanisch“ angehauchtes Ambiente und lädt sofort zum Wohlfühlen ein. Der Service ist freundlich, aufmerksam und immer zur Stelle, ohne aufdringlich zu wirken. Die Speisekarte bietet eine große Auswahl, inklusive vieler vegetarischer und veganer Optionen, und die Portionen sind beeindruckend groß und sehr sättigend. Besonders schön ist im Sommer die Terrasse mit entspannendem Wasserblick – ideal, um den Abend gemütlich ausklingen zu lassen. Absolut zu empfehlen!

Great and delicious food. A large selection, but you definitely need some experience with Mexican food. If you're new to the place, you don't get any guidance on how to eat what or the best way to eat it. That was a bit of a shame. And unfortunately, you can't pay by card, which certainly means the place isn't nearly as full as it could be. That's basically unnecessary and a real shame, because, as I said, the food, the ambiance, and the prices are all excellent.

We had a wonderful dinner at Amor on the outside deck! The food, atmosphere and service so fantastic that we returned again for lunch a few days later. Being from the West Coast of the USA, we see many great authentic Mexican restaurants and were happy to find Amor in Kopenick!

This Mexican restaurant impresses in every way: The huge outdoor area with a view of the water is simply stunning – perfect for relaxing evenings with friends or a lovely dinner for two. The cocktails are not only inexpensive but also top-quality – the value for money is absolutely spot on. The interior is designed with great taste and attention to detail – modern, stylish, yet cozy. You immediately notice that professionals are at work here – the owners are well-known in the area and know their craft. An all-round successful concept – we'll definitely be back!

We were greeted warmly, the food was good, and the staff asked frequently. There weren't long waits. But unfortunately, the light switches at one of the tables upstairs were very dirty. It shouldn't be difficult to take a rag and wipe them off.

Absolutely phenomenal experience! Scenic location, outstanding experience! This restaurant sits in a beautiful spot with a view of the park and lake with full of cruise boats. It’s the perfect stop after a day of exploring. The area feels safe, friendly, and full of charm—and the food absolutely blew us away. 5 stars all the way! This place is a hidden gem. Every dish we tried was top-notch, especially the enchiladas and tacos and fahitas.. What really made the experience unforgettable was the owner as well as staff – so warm, professional, and helpful. We were there for dinner on July 26, 2025. Friendly and attentive staff, nice decor. Good location close to the water. The food is nicely presented, but rather bland in taste, lacking in seasoning. The guacamole isn't homemade. You can't taste the alcohol in the alcoholic cocktails.

We sat right on the terrace overlooking the two rivers, which looks like a lake. The food was very good, the service was friendly, and the menu was even bilingual.

In short: Fantastic! A Mexican restaurant, beautifully decorated. The service is very friendly and unobtrusive. A wide selection of cocktails and a wide selection of different dishes, not just Mexican cuisine, but something for everyone. They even offer mole rojo and verde. The salmon in pepper-tequila cream sauce is also highly recommended. Absolutely recommended!

We ordered food delivery from the restaurant. Not only was the food over an hour late, but when we asked on the phone, we were told they would call the driver and ask, and we'd get back to them. After nothing came through, we called again to find out if and when our food would arrive, and the delivery guy just hung up! When it was delivered, there wasn't even an apology for the delay. Service was abysmal. The food was delicious, but we still wouldn't recommend it.

Rumor has it he's an Indian disguised as a Mexican. The views and food are good. The cocktails are very sugary.

Yes, but with some compromises, because it depends on what you order. We had steak and paella. The steak was ok but the paella was very dry and completely tasteless. I ordered tomato ketchup - the bottle looked very disgusting under the cap - to make the whole thing a little tastier and moister. I left more than half of it. The waiter asked if it was tasty and I said no. It was acknowledged by the waiter but there was no “I’m sorry”. NEVER AGAIN

We were there on a Thursday evening, food was delicious. Service was good at the beginning but the busier it became, the less coordinated it became. But still everything was ok.

Unfortunately, we didn't do enough research into this restaurant before our visit. We ended up there by chance while strolling through the city. From the outside it looked attractive with its colorful wall designs. We were there on a Saturday and it was quite busy. The staff appeared to be adequate, although untrained and there were significant language barriers. We had to wait a very long time for our food (1 hour). When our drinks were empty, no one came, even though the waitresses walked past our table several times. Unfortunately, my dish, number 38 for €18.90, arrived cold. The sliced ​​beef in wheat bags was a small portion, very little meat, mostly stuffed with peppers - and, as I said, cold. Unfortunately, the other dishes were also disappointing in terms of taste. A bold lipstick mark on my wine glass. The mango daiquiri did not contain alcohol even though it was ordered with alcohol. But then two schnapps glasses were brought in for refills. Ultimately, the drink only consisted of syrup and ice - maybe that's how it is today, but that's exactly how it tastes. We had to stand at the counter to pay as separate payments at the table were not possible. And then the next surprise: card payment was not accepted - only cash. Supposedly it's on the menu, but we all missed it. Perhaps the print was intentionally very small. To put this disappointment behind us, we went somewhere else. We were able to enjoy the evening in a good restaurant with professionally trained staff and a chef who is passionate about his job.

It was always very nice there, but yesterday was very, very disappointing. Despite the table being seated in the aisle, the main courses arrived after over an hour and a half. The rump steak was undercooked and tough. Maybe at some point again and you will be surprised.

Very nice restaurant with great service, great ambience. The staff here is very attentive and you don't have to wait forever. The food is served in a reasonable time, very tasty, warm and fresh. The drinks don't take long to arrive either. The restaurant seems clean, as is the toilet.

The Amor restaurant in Köpenick is truly a gem! The two-person meat platter I enjoyed was a veritable feast. Beautiful location with a friendly welcome and courteous service. As you can see from the pictures, the food was deliciously prepared and left nothing to be desired. Unfortunately it wasn't for our taste buds. The starter was very dry and the main course unfortunately didn't taste like anything. But it's definitely a matter of taste. The price of the food was definitely not justified. You can definitely eat Mexican more authentically and better. PS: only cash payment possible, which is a no go these days.

The service sometimes took a long time to notice that guests still needed attention. You were on your cell phone a lot. Payment was only possible in cash (there was no indication of this) and there was not enough change.

I agree with a prescriber. As good as every other Mexican in Berlin, which is run by Indians or Pakistanis. And that's exactly how it is. They are nice, but unfortunately the food was not what I expected from a Mexican restaurant with a four star rating. I had the starter platter for 2 for €16. Unfortunately it was a round, well, until I don't know. All food was unseasoned. I won't come if I can avoid it.

A great restaurant in the old town of Köpenick with a nice atmosphere! In summer it's wonderful to sit outside by the water, in winter it's cozy inside. The cocktail menu is large, varied and the cocktails are always perfectly mixed. The food also tastes great. Absolutely recommended – I always enjoy being here!

Stopped by a Mexican restaurant by chance - very nice welcome, great atmosphere. The food was good and lots of it. There was the Amore record, but unfortunately it wasn't enough Mexico for us. 2 buritos and fried peppers. Otherwise more German (pork/turkey/beef) or American (chicken drumstick and potatoes, as well as spare ribs and chicken nuggets) plus salad and 2 scampis. The sauces, guacamole was good with room for improvement, the slightly spicier sauce was too thin and sour cream was also good. Maybe we should have taken individual dishes to have the Mexican taste experience.

Waited almost an hour for the food because apparently the receipt didn't arrive in the kitchen. Food then served lukewarm. Guest room very noisy from other guests.

I dined here alone one summer day, when the restaurant was empty and quiet. It has a nice garden in the back overlooking the Spree and I felt good being there. The food tasted very nice, with a decorative presentation. The staff was friendly and also spoke English. Everything was fine. So I thought it would be a good idea to order food from here on Lieferando, now that I'm sick and can't stand up to prep a meal. Big mistake. The delivery was quite a different experience, unfortunately, and I would never repeat it. The quality was so bad, I don't have enough space here to describe it. I got these moldy melon slices, with spots of rot in them, I don't even know how this is possible. When you order at the table it's ok, because at least you see what you get, and if something is wrong, you can give it back. But when you order online, and the minimum order is 30€, you are left with 30€ worth of trash and there's nothing you can do about it.
