So I ate the doner kebab several times at the Highfield Festival and didn't have any stomach problems. Contrary to what the previous reviewers said, the doner and durum were okay, and the staff were quick and very friendly. The only thing that could perhaps be improved is the sauce (or an alternative?) and the bread for the doner. The price is between €9 and €12, depending on whether it's a doner, durum, or lahmachun. Sure, it's expensive, but I'd rather eat a doner kebab at a festival that keeps me reasonably full for €9 than a mini slice of pizza or hand-made bread for the same price...

Substandard kebab, strange meat, just iceberg lettuce and some kind of indefinable sauce from a pot. Ate it at the summer breeze. Never again. €9-12

We tried the kebab at the Open Beatz Festival and wanted to give it a try, but as previous comments have already mentioned, the kebab is truly abysmal. Not to mention the stomach-ache and the price.

They were on the Splash and I thought why not give them a try. Worst decision ever, everything about the "döner" is rancid. The meat was slightly greenish and even though I only ate about half of it, I had a huge stomach ache afterwards.

CREEPY!!!!!! At the Roland Kaiser concert on June 11, 2023 in Willingen: It's lucky that there was very little of that bad cold meat in the hot, almost burnt, cheap bread. It was hidden under a pile of iceberg lettuce; you would have searched in vain for coleslaw, tomatoes, and cucumbers. Instead of tzatziki, there was an indefinable, artificial, inedible orange sauce from a bucket. All this for the bargain price of €8. The organizers should consider not offering Can Döner at festivals anymore. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND FORGO THIS TASTE EXPERIENCE.

Unfortunately, a disappointing visit – and on a birthday of all days! We went there last Sunday as a family to celebrate a birthday – with a reservation, of course. Upon arrival, we were "politely" informed that both the goose and the filet steak were sold out. Since it seemed like half the menu was based on steak, the selection was correspondingly… limited. The explanation given was that many guests had ordered exactly those dishes on Friday and Saturday. Understandable – but they could have known that by Sunday morning at the latest. A quick phone call would certainly have been possible, giving us the chance to find another restaurant. Apparently, they didn't want to lose us. The service seemed clearly overwhelmed at first and at times a bit rude. This improved somewhat later as the restaurant emptied out, but the start wasn't pleasant. The wait times were the next "highlight": • about 1 hour for the appetizer • another 1 hour for the main course Upon later, the explanation was: one person wanted their main course served together with another person's appetizer. Nice – but this information would have been helpful when ordering, instead of being mentioned two hours later in a rushed, impromptu manner. The food itself was "okay," but nothing special. One fish dish arrived completely covered in a kind of Béarnaise sauce – which wasn't on the menu and was a rather... surprising taste experience. Conclusion: We don't recommend this restaurant and won't be returning. It's a shame – the occasion was lovely, but the evening itself was disappointing. A birthday dinner that we'll remember for a long time... but not for reasons we, as hosts, would be proud of.
