The food was very tasty, the service was good and the atmosphere was nice and quiet

Cafe Del Sol has been my husband and I’s favorite restaurant for 8 years whenever we visit Moers. Even when it’s crowded, the staff are always quick to take our order and deliver hot, delicious food. The atmosphere is always welcoming, and we’ve never been disappointed by the service. However, we were a bit sad during our last visit when we noticed that they had removed our favorite dishes, the Pasta Pisa and Penne Honey, from the menu. Hopefully, they bring them back soon!

We come to bowling at least once a month, everything is ready, the service is great, the food is varied and there is something for everyone, be it soup, cake, burgers, schnitzel or great salads, it always works. Brunch or breakfast buffet, it's always worth it. The reservations work excellently. Sanitary rooms are a bit old But it is currently being renovated.

There were 6 of us here on a Friday but we had no problem finding a place thanks to the reservation. The service was quick and both the drinks and food came quickly. We had several burgers and everyone was very happy with their orders. We took advantage of our stay to eat, drink and chat before heading over to bowling. A good start to the evening.

Service was very, very slow. A coffee felt like it took 10 minutes. Attempt number 2, coffee took a long time until the waiter came too. To pay, we had to go up to the waiter, I thought something would change, what a shame. I tried that again, We were treated rudely because we wanted to sit at the back, the waitress replied, I'm about to get off work, 2 hours before the end, and another waiter can't do that🫣We then ate somewhere else. Disaster,

I had reserved a table for four people at Cafédel Sol. When we got there on time, all but one table was occupied and the waiter was very stressed. He then wants to give us the last table and we wait until a waiter shows up. It took about 15 minutes until it was finally there and the drinks were taken. He said he couldn't eat food yet because he didn't have the device with him. Finally another waiter came and took the food. We ordered four burgers, my wife and I a barbecue BBurgr, the other barbecue burgers had no taste. The meat was pretty neutral, I completely missed the barbecue sauce and the bacon was terribly dry and probably pretty old. The positive thing about the store is the parking lot. What seemed negative to me was the noise, which was very loud from 6 p.m. onwards, the lights were dimmed and I think it's not so nice if you can't see your food properly anymore. I won't eat there again because I didn't feel comfortable there and wasn't treated accordingly as a guest.

I love Café del Sol in Moers! The food is simply unbeatable, especially the Schnitzel del Sol. The combination with the Samba Hollandaise is amazing. And the raspberry lemonade is totally refreshing. The service is super friendly and you immediately feel at home. I can only recommend the café, but it's best to reserve in advance because it's always full.

Very disappointing. We had burgers, unfortunately they are among the worst we have ever eaten. A ready-made patty that looked like it was made of rubber, together with a very careless preparation, was crowned by mediocre service. It's a shame about the beautiful location.

The restaurant is nicely decorated. The food is ok, but not outstanding. The burgers do not correspond to the price-performance ratio. The food is similar to Café Extrablatt. OK. But not demanding either. The staff was friendly but varied on the ball. You can certainly go there, but there are definitely more worthwhile alternatives for the prices.

Went there for breakfast. The free parking spaces directly in front are positive. The ambience is also pleasant and inviting. Service was friendly but unfortunately we had to wait a long time to order breakfast. If it had been very full, we would of course have understood that, but it was only a third full of guests. The coffee was good and the breakfast was OK.

I write partly for my father, who doesn't have internet. My father and his friend are regular customers and go to del Sol every week. Since they both come with their motorcycles, they usually sit "outside" in the front entrance area. Set with an ashtray and menu. Now it has happened several times that it wasn't served. My father ordered a Coke at the bar last night and his friend came later and ordered a coffee from the waiter as he walked past. He had to wait a whopping 2 hours without a drink. Until he took his own drink. Almost everyone there is unfriendly, no friendly hello and mostly things are just "thrown" on the table. Articles and friendly questions are also out of place here. Waiter: "Cola"? My father mentioned several times that some of the employees sat next to them and took a break, walked past them several times and there was no service. I've been there several times myself and now don't think the food is worth the money. All in all, we won't be visiting the store again. Friendliness and respect should finally be the most important things in life again. A smile on your face won't hurt you either. It's a shame what happened to the del Sol.

Had an appointment for breakfast on business. It is sufficient, cold cuts, cheese, etc. seem to be wholesale market goods. Still, overall OK, especially because breakfast places have become rare.

Cozy and spacious cafe/restaurant... Unfortunately, no breakfast for the small hunger = for example, ☕️ and 2 half rolls = are not available 🤷‍♂️

Toilet...unfortunately you have to say.....sucky!!! Ambiance is perfect... the service makes an effort + a relaxed, great manner...

Food and drink were good. Service was ok, but not very attentive. For the ambience I got 2 stars instead of one because I find it cozy there. The women's sanitary facilities were really disgusting and dirty. Toilets outdated, dusty and uncleaned, stains on the ceiling that I don't want to know what it was. A sink broken, no trash cans.

Delicious food, just super loud at certain times (like in many of these branches, which may be due to the design). I think the price-performance ratio is too high for the portion sizes. The large selection of vegan/vegetarian meals is nice.

There were six of us in your restaurant and unfortunately we went home disappointed. The young service person with short hair was unfriendly and often forgetful. Some of our plates had already been cleared away even though we hadn't finished, which I found to be inappropriate. There was also no question as to whether we liked it. Overall, the employee seemed very overwhelmed. We also found the prices to be unreasonably high. The food tasted good, but the portions were very small - you would have to order twice as much to get full. In summary, this was our first and last visit.

Went here for breakfast last Sunday. Food was good. Service good & quick. Price-performance doesn't really suit me. Disturbing: Faucet in the men's toilet broken, i.e. water runs continuously. Disinfectant dispenser empty. The notice was noted on site and, as far as I can tell, not passed on. I'd love to be proven wrong. Disinfectant dispensers near the buffet would be helpful. Air stuffy. Ventilation would have been good / open door / open window. Went out occasionally.

We 3 girls decided to have breakfast here. We had the good morning breakfast, a lot of toppings but only 1 roll and that for just under 5 euros. Another roll would have been better, as food goes unnecessarily and into the trash. Service was great. The shop was almost empty.

Service was overwhelmed with almost every order. Sometimes we had to ask about individual drinks after 30 minutes because something was always forgotten. Burgers were below average in quality and the taste was really bad. In addition, our reservation was entered, but tables still had to be laboriously put together because it was not prepared. We cannot recommend it.

Went there for Sunday brunch. Large selection with lots of delicious things, fresh croissants, delicious rolls, etc. The warm offerings could be a little better because the dishes tend to stick together if they sit for a long time. The staff is always nice and quick. Dogs are welcome. Would love to come back.

Unfortunately, price-performance is not right. I ordered a burger and fries. Unfortunately the burger was very dry. My friends also had shrimp on their Caesar salad, it cost six euros more and you got 6 small shrimp. The quality of the food was simply not as good as the competition and at the same time it is more expensive here. But the service and ambience are top.

I was here for breakfast. Sensational café with a breakfast consisting of 2 x fried eggs, a roll with salami, cheese and jam. Everything was perfect and the service was professional and very friendly.

I've gotten used to the fact that the prices have risen significantly, but for convenience food, that's still just 5 stars. The service was ok. But it felt like there was one person too few on the area.

We were there for the schnitzel holiday on Thursday. Was great. Free choice of seating and a friendly welcome. Drinks were quickly selected and delivered to us quickly. Food was also great. Large portion that we really struggled with. But the taste was so great that we ate it all.

A great restaurant, again at any time. Don't miss out on dessert.

The price-performance ratio is simply no longer right here. Homemade lemonade for €6.70. Schnitzelit fries approx. 18€. Considering that the food is mediocre and it's actually a cocktail bar.

Hefty prices for packets of cold cuts, packets of cheese and tubes of honey at brunch. - €20.99 per person for the above selection & plus a few warming containers with dishes that can only be recognized by the signs. - The disappointment of the day: no Nutella (label yes - Nutella no). Since there were many adults with children there, people kept asking for Nutella. The waitresses then explained that Nutella was unfortunately not available. Instead of the branch management sending someone to the nearest gas station to buy Nutella, there were a lot of sad children's faces. Overall impression of the brunch - not here again.

It was our first time there, so far so good. The only thing I find stupid is that all drinks have to be paid extra. Normally simple coffee, water and orange juice are included in the price at the buffet/breakfast, which is also what I've seen in hotels. The background noise is good and you can sit somewhat separately despite the large space.

There were 12 of us at the breakfast buffet. There was little to no bread or rolls available and all other ingredients were added very hesitantly. When I pointed out that this was the worst breakfast of my life (75 years old), all I got was a shoulder twitch. Conclusion: NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!

I was eating there with my girlfriend and we found a nice place on the large terrace. We were greeted warmly and served very quickly. The food and drinks menu is very diverse. Our food was very tasty and enough to fill us up. You can relax there very well from everyday life. There are also plenty of seats inside. The interior is also stylishly furnished. We will definitely visit Cafe Del Sol Moers again.

Modern restaurant, service very nice and accommodating. The stars are deducted because we were there quite often as a group and there were always problems with either drinks not being there or dessert. The order was taken and a short time later the information was unfortunately no longer available. The staff should be informed in advance if something cannot be ordered. And unfortunately that has always been the case until now. Unfortunately there was also a long delay in the food...a few had already eaten and others were still waiting for their food. It was all standard dishes, burgers and salad. Food was and is always delicious and plentiful.

Unfortunately the food was nothing, cold, 3 out of 4 orders were wrong, portions (just fries/sweet potato fries) were now mini-small despite the increased price, the music was so loud that you could only scream at each other. The service saved it again, very attentive and friendly.

I've been eating there for years, unfortunately the staff has become bad and unfriendly. I have to say that fries are served warm. It was also very annoying that you had to wait forever to pay or that your colleagues couldn't find the service to help you pay.

Our “Happy day” breakfast came quickly after we ordered. It was plentiful, varied, visually pleasing served on a wooden board. Only the tomatoes and the green lettuce leaf left something to be desired, i.e. they didn't taste good at all. The service was friendly and came to ask questions every now and then. Price was okay. However, I found the employee's reference to the tip button on the card reader very intrusive. A tip is a voluntary service that I can make, but I don't have to. And after this request there was nothing! It was a normal breakfast, not a highlight.

I like this Café del sol very much. Enough parking spaces and nice staff. Drinks and food are very good in themselves

After countless visits, one thing is certain: delicious food, very tasty weak service.

It's been a long time since we've been there for brunch. For us it was perfect. We'd love to come back.

I had breakfast there again after several years and was pleasantly surprised that allergy sufferers can now get their fill from the buffet. That was the reason why I didn't go there anymore. Now I can again recommend the Del Sol without hesitation, especially for people with food intolerances. There is also plenty of great selection. What hasn't changed is the noise level when the restaurant is full and that more money could be earned from guests if they were more attentive to the drinks. But I'd love to come back.

Cocktails taste like water with a bit of aroma and that’s it. The service was fine. The employees at the counter, especially the brown-orange-haired, turbulent one with the tattoos, loudly and obviously gossip about customers. I'd rather drive a few km further to the next café. You shouldn't pay money for something like that.

I wasn't thrilled. Very long wait until you could order something to drink. I ordered Pinsa with rocket, although the rocket had seen better days. It was completely wilted and ruined my appetite. The home-made bread, on the other hand, was very tasty and very fresh. The bread is an appetizer but we were served everything together. I didn't think that was normal either. Who serves the starter with the main course? They won't see me there again.

We were at Café del Sol in Moers on a Wednesday evening. We ordered two drinks and once the Schnitzel del Sol and a lasagna. About the ambience: A typical Café del Sol. Nothing special but overall comfortable About the service: The service was good and we were served quickly. The food and drinks came very quickly. I almost felt sorry for the waitress because of my review, as she couldn't help it because of the bad food. To eat: The schnitzel had a tendon and was flooded with a hollandaise sauce. The fries were already at room temperature. So it's no longer fresh. Up to this point everything is still tolerable. The lettuce was rancid and already had brown spots. You can no longer offer this to guests. My conclusion about the lasagna leaves something to be desired. Actually more comparable to a frozen lasagne from the supermarket. It's a shame because I was really looking forward to it. Unfortunately I had to leave 3/4 behind. The portions overall were rather small. To the conclusion: If you want to sit comfortably and just have a drink, this is the place for you. You should choose another restaurant to eat. It's a shame Café del Sol, it could be better...

Cold fries, dirty tables and no service. The four of us sat in Café del Sol for an hour. The tables weren't even cleared or asked for new drinks during the entire time. Lack of staff is probably not the reason, as at least three employees were constantly standing in front of the entrance door smoking. They could have helped their colleagues out on the terrace. In any case, we won't be coming back, we never had high expectations of the store, but that's just not possible.

Everything was great and delicious. Worlds better than an extra sheet. Unfortunately, as a wheelchair user you cannot serve yourself at the buffet because it is too high. Unfortunately, the group outing with the handicap group does not take place here for breakfast. Unfortunately, it hasn't been thought through: disabled parking spaces, wheelchair ramp, barrier-free toilet but no barrier-free buffet. Find the error😁

As always, the staff were very nice and accommodating. Even though it was very busy, the food came very quickly. The Schnitzel dem Sol will probably remain my favorite forever😉 Small addendum: Today (08/31/24) I had the dubious pleasure of being served by a certain Baric. I travel a lot and eat out a lot in different restaurants and cafés. In all my years, I have never been “treated” so unkindly and incompetently. It would be beyond the scope to write down everything I experienced in the 45 minutes of my visit. Just this much: If I were the management, I would send it to you urgently and in detail on the following topics: how do I organize my work How do I respond to legitimate criticism? How do I handle 2 orders at the same time? and How do I generate additional sales for my employer through simple attention? Otherwise, the obligatory Schnitzel del Sol was again excellent

I ordered a mojito. This contained either very little or even less rum. Crushed ice was not used either, but rather ice cubes.

Food and service “Top” Unfortunately it's located right on a busy street, so it's very noisy.

Ringing in the weekend on Friday evening with a non-alcoholic cocktail and a shandy is a great option on the cozy terrace. Plus a Greek salad with sheep's cheese and crispy chicken with fries and dip. This is how it can be endured. The cellar was very friendly and attentive and delivered the food or drinks in no time. I can definitely recommend it

Angekommen-und wir wurden zu einem dreckigen Tisch geführt, es war das Geschirr nicht abgeräumt, Essensreste waren auf dem Tisch und die Speisekarten warten siffig und speckig. Nachdem wir 20 Minuten zwischen dem dreckigen Geschirr gewartet haben, sind wir wieder raus aus dem Laden und zu McDonald's. Definitiv sauberer und besserer Service!

Service had forgotten drinks, the food was almost cold when the drinks arrived. Get a half-full Lillet glass without raspberries without mint. For the cake we ordered extra cream (costs €1.20) and a piece of cake came with a mini dollop of cream, unfortunately I didn't take a photo of it. I had the feeling that the employees weren't in the mood anymore and wanted to finish work. A pity!
