Beautiful location. It was busy, but we had no problem getting a good seat. The food came quickly. We had just had our starter served when the main course arrived. The food was of good quality. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices.

It's absolutely okay for some coffee or drink. When it's busy it's getting quite loud though.

The weekend breakfast buffet is always delicious. It's cozy, and the staff is very friendly.

After 20 minutes of waiting without service, we left again.

We were here today with a small group of work colleagues. We would be served quickly. It wasn't a problem to only order when the last colleague had arrived. The food came quickly and all colleagues thought it was delicious. My salad wasn't very stylishly prepared, but it tasted very good. The atmosphere was modern and Café Del Sol was well attended today.

I actually like Café Del Sol in moers, but the service is really poor!!! You wait ages for a service person, and they are also totally unfriendly. The actually nice restaurant seems totally unclean because the tables are never wiped or cleared away. Unfortunately a disappointment

After a walk on the holiday we looked for a nice spot on the porch. We ordered drinks and 2x the Belgian waffle with ice cream and cream. The waffles were advertised on a display in the entrance area. There was a picture of the typically thick, square Belgian waffles. But we were deceived/disappointed: For 8.50 euros each, everyone had a small, round, warmed convenience wafer cup (there is no other way to describe it) on their plate with a scoop of vanilla ice cream plus whipped cream! Warmed up little waffle and then just sprayed cream. So this is how you make quick money today, it occurred to us...! Next time we'll bake fresh waffles at home again...

Bad service, drinks expensive and sweet. Never go there again

Even in retirement, I come here regularly to chat with former colleagues. Unfortunately, I have been disappointed several times by the quality of the food. Either the order was not carried out correctly in the kitchen or the food was lukewarm or almost cold; Fries soft and not crispy or pinsa cooled or with a base that is too firm. Too bad! The service is very friendly and attentive, but it doesn't make up for the poor quality of the food. I'll be back to chat, but won't be eating anymore! Maybe. The “pensioners club” finds a better location! Update: 04/29/25: This time the fries and fallafel were hot and crispy. It was only when I got home that I realized that the S. mayonnaise was missing! Too bad!

The food is very tasty and the value for money is definitely right. Where there is still room for improvement is definitely in the service. "Here are your drinks. I'll come back soon for the food" - No, he didn't come. Rather by chance, one of his colleagues saw our menu that was still open and took our food order. When paying it was similar: "I'll send my colleague" - well the colleague was probably free or on vacation. Well, after two attempts the payment worked. We had a similar experience on our first visit. The food and selection is really good and tasty, but there is still room for improvement in the service.

Food tastes quite good. Service was very nice and very helpful. A great atmosphere. You can always go back even if you just want coffee and cake.

I love it here. The food is awesome. And even when things are stressful, the staff always remains friendly. There may be longer waiting times on days with a lot of guests, but that's normal. And even if something is forgotten, you get a small compensation, which I think is really good. We like to eat here whether summer or winter.

Nothing special and no contact with basic gastronomy either

Very nice location with very nice and attentive service. There is a wide selection of food to suit every taste and age. The rich breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. We like to come here on Sundays and enjoy the ambience while having breakfast. You feel welcome and friendly here. I can highly recommend Cafe del Sol and we always enjoy coming here.

I was there yesterday with a larger group and ordered the bacon BBQ burger with fries. The fries were ok, but unfortunately I didn't like the burger: first of all, they didn't manage to take into account a normal request (leave out the cucumber). It can happen, but if it happens consistently (no other food at the table was taken into account), it can't be a coincidence. The bun wasn't toasted properly and tasted soggy, like it came straight from the packaging. The patty was pure frozen food that was completely fried and had the consistency of a shoe sole. There was really no taste at all. The bacon was dry and crumbly and seemed to have been in the pan for a long time. There was no trace of the BBQ sauce, the only thing that covered the burger was a not particularly tasty light burger sauce. So the meal was a complete failure. A look at the neighboring plates confirmed my impression of the quality on offer: convenience straight from frying hell, which means that the prices quoted are absolutely not justified. At least the restaurant's design is appealing: I liked the veranda and the large dining room with the high ceilings. The second star goes to the Cola... but you can't go wrong with that.

The food seems to be average convinance food. The salad was a joke, unfortunately absolutely unimaginative. Noodles were absolutely average... It's just a big chain with mass processing. A small meal for three people, one drink each, €100 including tip.

Per: Nice atmosphere (not recommended indoors for people who are sensitive to noise!) It's lovely to sit outside, especially in sunny weather. However, only for drinks. The dishes are not necessarily a hit and the portions have already become significantly smaller. Cons: For 21 euros I expect a buffet with a certain wow effect. Boring 0815 offer. No drink(s) for free! Lukewarm dishes (whether scrambled eggs, paella or pasta). A la carte dishes have become smaller. Inattentive service! You have to call the waitress yourself to order something or pay. She was mostly chatting with her colleagues. Conclusion: You can tell that the catering industry has become creative when it comes to pricing. Portions are becoming smaller, food and drinks have become significantly more expensive. I might still be willing to pay that if the service was good and I could see the certain attention to detail on a 21 euro buffet. Well, we're not talking about a 5 star hotel. But here too I can expect certain basics. I'd love to come back for a drink and a chilled chat. As already mentioned above, I cannot recommend anything else. There are better and cheaper offers out there.

We like to sit there for an evening beer in the summer and are always happy about the friendly staff. They make an effort to serve guests quickly and remain nice and friendly even under stress. We'll definitely stay with you for a long time and enjoy the "baby wheat" with lemon 😉

Our evening at Café del Sol began with a small waiting game. We were allowed to wait outside at our seat for 20 minutes until our order was taken. As usual in a restaurant, we had to wait 20 minutes for our schnitzel with our beer. The schnitzels we got were more than excellent, very crispy, the right size and very, very tasty. After we were finished we had to wait again and again, we waited almost 30 minutes until the waitress spoke to us as she loudly cleaned the table behind us. When she then asked us if we would get another schnitzel and we answered yes, I sheepishly added as a detail that the dressing on the salad was a little bitter and it was inedible. Then I got the rude answer that there's nothing you can do about it, it's just salad...

The food was really tasty (hummus burger + sweet potato fries) the service was nice but it took too long and I had to pay attention e.g. I thought there were too few service staff at that time (Sunday 5-6 p.m.)

It's great here, the food tastes really good, the waiter is very nice and the interior is beautifully decorated.

Went there again today, the service was top but the food was once again a flop. Burgers dry with cheap meat, the pinsa is dry and lean. After we told the waitress, she said that there had been several complaints about the kitchen in the last few months, but unfortunately nothing has changed!!!!! We're not coming anymore!

We've been there several times and were always satisfied. The schnitzel experience was fantastic. Very fair prices, and the food tasted amazing. They asked us several times if everything was okay and if we wanted more. We highly recommend Café del Sol Moers.

Pieces of cake were quite small, but delicious!

Main course Pinsa was good...afterwards the lava cake with liquid caramel center and ice cream for dessert was a disgrace. The ice cream was already half melted when it arrived at the table. The lava cake had no liquid core and the caramel was nowhere to be found. It didn't taste chocolatey either, it tasted like it had been heated for far too long. 8.50 euros spent for nothing. It's a shame...unfortunately it leaves a bad impression in the end.

There were four of us with you today and unfortunately we weren't satisfied at all. Initially the first order was taken quite quickly and arrived within a reasonable time. Unfortunately, there was only one visit from the waiter for the time being. We spent 5 hours there that evening and saw him three times and he only came to us when we specifically spoke to him from a distance. This way you can of course avoid repeat orders from your schnitzel holiday. In particular, we would have liked to drink more, but unfortunately we didn't see the waiter for at least an hour. It just radiated an absolute no-brainer attitude, because if the waiter had been stressed, we would have understood it. But for a long time he just seemed to disappear from the face of the earth. He didn't like the fact that we didn't give a tip and there was no more goodbye. We would have expected a lot more and it was simply disappointing, because service makes so much difference and a smile can make a big difference or an apology that it's taking a little longer today because he doesn't just have to serve our tables on the high level. We finally gave the hint that we were dying of thirst. Really a shame.

Hardly any service, but sporty prices. Price-performance doesn't fit. The waiter comes no more than once an hour – and then only when asked. No hello, no goodbye. The food seems warmed up rather than freshly cooked. Not recommended.

It's really a shame. The Café Del Sol min Moers is beautifully located and cozy. It also makes a good impression on the outside. Unfortunately, it really is a matter of patience to be served. Quite often no one comes out onto the terrace and when they do it comes across as if they are deliberately looking away. The waiters often said they were sorry and that there weren't enough staff. But then it's been like this for a long time and you should take countermeasures. Otherwise nice and comfortable

We were there for brunch. The food was very tasty, but the buffet was a bit confusing. We had a bit of difficulty finding our way around. The cocoa didn't taste good at all, it was far too watery. I wouldn't recommend. Milk-based cocoa would have been better because we would have drunk more of it. The building is very noisy, despite there being few visitors, it was quite loud in the building. The toilets smelled very strongly of drains. I don't know if it's always like that, but it was unpleasant. All in all, the brunch was good in terms of price/performance ratio, you get a good selection, but I've had much better brunch elsewhere.

Yes, breakfast was very tasty and varied.

Food not recommended, okay in itself but not in keeping with the price. Dry burger with a strange smell, mini potatoes were okay, *schnitzel vacation* great *irony, the first schnitzel was okay, if you order a second one that is legitimate, you will be looked at strangely and then after a few minutes you will get a limp imitation schnitzel. The size of half a 5 euro note, which also ruins your appetite. Not to forget the great acoustics throughout the place. Where you can hear every conversation from the next table but not a word at your own. Very nice atmosphere but nothing for a nice evening.

We have been to Café del Sol in Moers many times and always enjoy coming here. Yesterday we just stopped by for a coffee and ordered a delicious curry soup. As always, the service was very attentive and friendly, you immediately feel welcome. What was particularly nice was that we were able to enjoy the first rays of sunshine on the terrace - the atmosphere here is simply great. We have also visited other Café del Sol, but Moers remains our absolute favorite. Everything is perfect here – food, service and atmosphere. We are already looking forward to the next visit!

The waiter... I rarely experience such good service. His attentiveness and unobtrusive friendliness have outshone the really good food for the second time now. People like to sit here for longer.

We had breakfast at Café del Sol today. As always, everything was great. The selection was large and extremely tasty. I really like the atmosphere and we always feel like we are in good hands. The staff is on their toes and you never have to wait long for drinks or food. See you soon....

Unfortunately, getting a waiter is a matter of luck. Everyone you speak to says that a colleague is coming soon. After the fourth time someone came. But we had already been sitting and waiting for over an hour. When I reordered it wasn't much different. Too bad.

Cafe Del Sol has been my husband and I’s favorite restaurant for 8 years whenever we visit Moers. Even when it’s crowded, the staff are always quick to take our order and deliver hot, delicious food. The atmosphere is always welcoming, and we’ve never been disappointed by the service. However, we were a bit sad during our last visit when we noticed that they had removed our favorite dishes, the Pasta Pisa and Penne Honey, from the menu. Hopefully, they bring them back soon!

There were 6 of us here on a Friday but we had no problem finding a place thanks to the reservation. The service was quick and both the drinks and food came quickly. We had several burgers and everyone was very happy with their orders. We took advantage of our stay to eat, drink and chat before heading over to bowling. A good start to the evening.

We come to bowling at least once a month, everything is ready, the service is great, the food is varied and there is something for everyone, be it soup, cake, burgers, schnitzel or great salads, it always works. Brunch or breakfast buffet, it's always worth it. The reservations work excellently. Sanitary rooms are a bit old But it is currently being renovated.

I had reserved a table for four people at Cafédel Sol. When we got there on time, all but one table was occupied and the waiter was very stressed. He then wants to give us the last table and we wait until a waiter shows up. It took about 15 minutes until it was finally there and the drinks were taken. He said he couldn't eat food yet because he didn't have the device with him. Finally another waiter came and took the food. We ordered four burgers, my wife and I a barbecue BBurgr, the other barbecue burgers had no taste. The meat was pretty neutral, I completely missed the barbecue sauce and the bacon was terribly dry and probably pretty old. The positive thing about the store is the parking lot. What seemed negative to me was the noise, which was very loud from 6 p.m. onwards, the lights were dimmed and I think it's not so nice if you can't see your food properly anymore. I won't eat there again because I didn't feel comfortable there and wasn't treated accordingly as a guest.

Service was very, very slow. A coffee felt like it took 10 minutes. Attempt number 2, coffee took a long time until the waiter came too. To pay, we had to go up to the waiter, I thought something would change, what a shame. I tried that again, We were treated rudely because we wanted to sit at the back, the waitress replied, I'm about to get off work, 2 hours before the end, and another waiter can't do that🫣We then ate somewhere else. Disaster,

I love Café del Sol in Moers! The food is simply unbeatable, especially the Schnitzel del Sol. The combination with the Samba Hollandaise is amazing. And the raspberry lemonade is totally refreshing. The service is super friendly and you immediately feel at home. I can only recommend the café, but it's best to reserve in advance because it's always full.

Very disappointing. We had burgers, unfortunately they are among the worst we have ever eaten. A ready-made patty that looked like it was made of rubber, together with a very careless preparation, was crowned by mediocre service. It's a shame about the beautiful location.

The restaurant is nicely decorated. The food is ok, but not outstanding. The burgers do not correspond to the price-performance ratio. The food is similar to Café Extrablatt. OK. But not demanding either. The staff was friendly but varied on the ball. You can certainly go there, but there are definitely more worthwhile alternatives for the prices.

Went there for breakfast. The free parking spaces directly in front are positive. The ambience is also pleasant and inviting. Service was friendly but unfortunately we had to wait a long time to order breakfast. If it had been very full, we would of course have understood that, but it was only a third full of guests. The coffee was good and the breakfast was OK.

I write partly for my father, who doesn't have internet. My father and his friend are regular customers and go to del Sol every week. Since they both come with their motorcycles, they usually sit "outside" in the front entrance area. Set with an ashtray and menu. Now it has happened several times that it wasn't served. My father ordered a Coke at the bar last night and his friend came later and ordered a coffee from the waiter as he walked past. He had to wait a whopping 2 hours without a drink. Until he took his own drink. Almost everyone there is unfriendly, no friendly hello and mostly things are just "thrown" on the table. Articles and friendly questions are also out of place here. Waiter: "Cola"? My father mentioned several times that some of the employees sat next to them and took a break, walked past them several times and there was no service. I've been there several times myself and now don't think the food is worth the money. All in all, we won't be visiting the store again. Friendliness and respect should finally be the most important things in life again. A smile on your face won't hurt you either. It's a shame what happened to the del Sol.

Had an appointment for breakfast on business. It is sufficient, cold cuts, cheese, etc. seem to be wholesale market goods. Still, overall OK, especially because breakfast places have become rare.

Food and drink were good. Service was ok, but not very attentive. For the ambience I got 2 stars instead of one because I find it cozy there. The women's sanitary facilities were really disgusting and dirty. Toilets outdated, dusty and uncleaned, stains on the ceiling that I don't want to know what it was. A sink broken, no trash cans.

Delicious food, just super loud at certain times (like in many of these branches, which may be due to the design). I think the price-performance ratio is too high for the portion sizes. The large selection of vegan/vegetarian meals is nice.

There were six of us in your restaurant and unfortunately we went home disappointed. The young service person with short hair was unfriendly and often forgetful. Some of our plates had already been cleared away even though we hadn't finished, which I found to be inappropriate. There was also no question as to whether we liked it. Overall, the employee seemed very overwhelmed. We also found the prices to be unreasonably high. The food tasted good, but the portions were very small - you would have to order twice as much to get full. In summary, this was our first and last visit.

Went here for breakfast last Sunday. Food was good. Service good & quick. Price-performance doesn't really suit me. Disturbing: Faucet in the men's toilet broken, i.e. water runs continuously. Disinfectant dispenser empty. The notice was noted on site and, as far as I can tell, not passed on. I'd love to be proven wrong. Disinfectant dispensers near the buffet would be helpful. Air stuffy. Ventilation would have been good / open door / open window. Went out occasionally.

We 3 girls decided to have breakfast here. We had the good morning breakfast, a lot of toppings but only 1 roll and that for just under 5 euros. Another roll would have been better, as food goes unnecessarily and into the trash. Service was great. The shop was almost empty.

All in all a good evening, drinks were tasty, food was ok.

Burgers were below average in quality and the taste was really bad. In addition, our reservation was entered, but tables still had to be laboriously put together because it was not prepared. Large selection with lots of delicious things, fresh croissants, delicious rolls, etc. The warm offerings could be a little better because the dishes tend to stick together if they sit for a long time. The staff is always nice and quick. Dogs are welcome. Would love to come back.

Unfortunately, price-performance is not right. I ordered a burger and fries. Unfortunately the burger was very dry. My friends also had shrimp on their Caesar salad, it cost six euros more and you got 6 small shrimp.
