Simply an institution, delicious food and meaningful conversations. Ansgar is the best. Crêpes in Weimar are number 1. My recommendation: "Finanzstube Special." Available only when using the code word "Finanzstube."

Delicious food at fair prices, very friendly service, and in the summer, a garden terrace. Highly recommended.

One star is too much. Our table reservation was forgotten. The drink order took forever; in the meantime, we were assigned different seats three times. The menus were individual sheets of paper, haphazardly stapled and worn. We left. Even a simple student pub looks good compared to this. Not a word of apology. Not suitable for people with disabilities; the restaurant is on the first floor.

Very good dishes, reminiscent of the GDR era. The prices are right, too. Of course, the ambiance isn't the nicest in an industrial area.

Reserved a table for 6 p.m., got confirmation. Arrived at 5:55 p.m., everything closed. It stayed that way the entire evening. What else can I say? Something can always happen, but then you can cancel, just as restaurants want their customers to.
