We were there for dinner with lots of children. It seems a bit staid, but the service was very nice. The selection of food is huge and everything tasted great. We'd love to come back.

We ate there, very tasty food, got a high chair straight away. Very nice and courteous staff.

We ate in this restaurant twice. The food is good, but nothing exceptional. The chicken burger had a ready-made patty, the sauce was supposed to be sweet and sour, but it was sweetchilli, i.e. spicy. Something like that should be mentioned. Not everyone can do it. Baking paper as a base is also not very appealing. The second dish was okay. In my opinion, price performance is not guaranteed. Dogs are allowed in, but you can get water everywhere, so that wasn't the case. The ambience is nice. The service was nice. Well attended.

It's going ok. We had dinner there. Turkey steak was drowned in cream gravy. The burger was partly cold on the edge. For this, including drinks, over 40 euros... Price/performance in my opinion not balanced. The toilets could use a freshening up. Maybe the coffee table is better there. Let's see.

Went there very late and were the last and only guests (4) to be served very courteously. The food was great! The citizen in particular is a creation of the house and highly recommended.

We ate twice and it was simply delicious. Even though we were very late, the kitchen wasn't closed and we got a really great burger. The staff is very friendly. Thank you for the great time.

We hadn't rented a room here, but were traveling through on our bikes. So we decided to take a break. When we arrived at the restaurant, we were allowed to choose a table ourselves. No matter whether inside or outside. When we arrived at the table, we first looked at what was delicious... from Hawaiian toast to currywurst to schnitzel, everything was there. We once had the sauerbraten and cordon bleu. We have to say that it tasted very, very good. There was nothing from the freezer. Everything fresh and already prepared. If we're in the area again, we'll be happy to stop by again :)

A restaurant with rentals in a quiet location. Apartment spacious, but in need of renovation. Linen broken, cleanliness could be better. Very nice boss. Breakfast very minimalistic. Service in the restaurant not good. 30 min wait to order drinks.

Went there to eat, there was almost nothing going on in the restaurant itself. Eat: The taste and portion size are absolutely convincing, and the price is adjusted to the prices in the entire region. Service: Since, as mentioned, there were only 3 or 4 other tables occupied, it wasn't really demanding for 2 employees. Everything went quickly, we asked regularly whether everything was okay. Very satisfying. Ambience: Overall it's very nice, but you can see the wear and age of the furnishings in some places. Personally, I would come here again at any time

We have been coming there for several years, although there may be more modern restaurants, but it is always a little bit like coming home, there is good old home cooking, the taste is always super delicious for us, we love it!

I have to say, we have been coming to eat regularly for 5 years and have been thrilled every time. On our last visit I was disappointed, not because of the food, but because of the service. We had reserved and were assigned our table. After 20 minutes of complete disregard, we got up and left. The restaurant was full and it was certainly stressful, but this could have been managed differently with a little communication. We'll still be back and hope to be able to enjoy a delicious meal again.

Not worth the visit! The restaurant had received 4 stars which we took as a good sign. But after our visit we unfortunately can only give it one star, at most… We had to wait 15 minutes until they took our order, even after them noticing us waiting. If the restaurant would have been full I would have overlooked the waiting time, but the restaurant was half empty… After ordering we had to wait another 45 minutes until the food was served. Keep in mind the food is “nothing extra”, not worth the 45 minute wait. The food was very overpriced for the small size of the meal. I was still hungry as we left.. There were no smiles on the employees. I’m not sure if they enjoyed working there.. As we had paid the employee rushed in to clear our table, not a smile, not a “have a nice evening”, nothing, but a sour face…at least they were quick now 😅 I’m usually a positive person, but this visit unfortunately could not keep me in a good mood. The guest at the table next to us had to wait 40 minutes as well, they were not happy with it, to say the least.. I do not recommend this place.

Extremely long wait for both seating and food (50+ minutes). Staff would rarely look up from the floor, so impossiblo to get their attention. And then when you finally managed they would proceed to other things anyway. U sure need a lot of patience to go here..

The service is very nice and tries to process orders promptly. It's very comfortable to sit in the center of Hahnenklee and in colder temperatures there are small blankets for the guests. I definitely felt like I was in good hands.

On our way to the North Sea we visited Café Steffens for dinner. Here you can enjoy good old German home cooking, at very high prices. The food tasted really good. But beware! Watch your change. In our case the €2 tip turned into €3, the waiter is probably a professional shell player or needs an abacus.

Friendly welcome, quick delivery of drinks and also an honest statement that food took a little longer than usual - as it was busy. We had the house-style schnitzel and a Brizza - both very tasty and completely ok in terms of price

We stayed at the Aaron holiday home. Very good facilities (bedroom, kitchen, bathroom) very lovingly furnished, especially the children's room under the roof with lots of toys. Small outdoor area (plants would be nice here).

The two of us ate outside with our dogs. We were served very nicely and quickly. The burger was really good 🍔 One of the best burgers I've had so far! 😀

First of all, the food was really good. Unfortunately the waiting time of over 1.5 hours is very questionable, 6 of us have 4 children. Unfortunately we weren't told in advance that the waiting time was very long. That's a real shame and we would be deprived of the opportunity to decide for ourselves. Really, really sad.

Of the 5 tables outside, 2 were occupied and 3 were full of old dishes. We actually just wanted a coffee and a piece of cake, but the waitress ignored us. At the Moock bakery 100 meters away it was perfect 👌

We were 8 adults with 5 small children. The location was recommended to us as a larger group because it was very family friendly. Given the group size, I would not make this recommendation. The staff tried to give us an appropriately sized table, which ultimately worked. We were told the waiting time would be 30 minutes when we ordered, but it ended up being 50 minutes. The children became whiny. The food was OK.

Not a good idea.. The service is terrible, friendly, but even when the glasses are empty, they don't even ask if you want something more to drink. The waiting time that was accepted due to the large number of guests was way overused. In addition, the food is not appropriate for the price. (Many finished products) All in all, this restaurant is not recommended.

Ich hatte ein Zanderfile, das war einfach ungenießbar! Knüppelhart und ertränkt in Soße. Als die Bedienung fragte ob alles in Ordnung sei, sagte ich das der Fisch sehr trocken sei, ich könnte ich kaum schneiden. Was bei Fisch ja eigentlich eh unüblich ist. Die Bedienung nahm den Fisch mit und brachte ihn mir tatsächlich geschnitten (also auseinander gerissen) wieder. Da war ich das erste Mal geschockt. Der Fisch war mittlerweile kalt und mein Mann mit seinem Gericht (was auch das Geld nicht wert war) fertig. Der Fisch war natürlich immer noch ungenießbar. Auf eine weitere Beschwerde bot man mir an einen neuen Fisch zu bringen, das nahm ich dankend an. Der neue Fisch in der gleichen Soße, war auch die reinste Katastrophe. Mir war auch der Appetit vergangen. Den Fisch haben ich nicht mehr gegessen ( er war einfach ungenießbar). Als wir nach der Rechnung fragten, meine die Bedienung das ich den Fisch zwei Mal bezahlen soll, da ich ihn ja auch zwei Mal bestellt haben. Da ist mir wirklich alles aus dem Gesicht gefallen. Der Chef kam auf verlangen zu uns an den Tisch und hat mich regerecht ausgeschimpft. Ob mir überhaupt bewusst wäre das er jetzt Fisch im Wert von 50 Euro in den Müll schmeißen müsste, weil ich den nicht gegessen haben. Also sowas ist mir noch nie passiert, Essen ungenießbar und doppelte Rechnung.

Decent price/performance ratio. The CordonBleu was great again this time (I'm here often). It probably depends on the boss being in the kitchen. But the arranging isn't his thing. In my case the plate comes with the Cordon Bleu and croquettes. That's it. No lettuce leaf, no tomato. However, there was a salad first. It still looks sober at first. The taste was great and that's what counts.

We just had dinner there and it was really tasty and plentiful. The restaurant's interior design may not be top modern, but we still gave it 5 stars because it fits authentically with the Harz Mountains. A visit is highly recommended.

Wenn man in Hahnenklee essen geht - dann hier! Hammer! Essen sowas von lecker und schön zubereitet! Nur das Ausstattung ist schon in die Jahre gekommen (90er?), sonst Hammer!

We came here spontaneously for dinner and were warmly welcomed. Interesting map, something for everyone. I had a great burger with crispy chicken. Good choice

We were with three families at lunchtime on Friday and had some starter soups, stir-fries, children's meals, burgers, wine and non-alcoholic drinks. The dishes were well seasoned and we enjoyed them. There is a deduction for the dull knives, a shared bowl of fried potatoes for different people (a bad habit that we have had in other restaurants), noodles in the children's meals were spaetzle and the portion of the coachman's pan for €30 was too small for this price.

Given the rude staff, I would like to give 0 stars. Animals are obviously not welcome, so we were treated very dismissively from the start (we had 2 dogs with us). We weren't noticed at all for the first 2 minutes. When we spoke to the lady behind the counter, she referred us to her colleague, who very rudely assigned us a table. Our request to get a table in the corner (which we had specified when making the reservation and which was promised to us) was met with the cheeky answer that this was simply not possible. The boss was also visibly annoyed with us and our dogs because she also complained that it was not possible to get a suitable table with the dogs. When we left the restaurant due to the impossible staff, they didn't even look at us. When we made the reservation, we specifically stated that we had two dogs with us and needed a place in a corner. If this is not possible, you are welcome to say so directly. We are therefore very disappointed by the unreliability and impudence that was shown to us. We then went to another restaurant that was happy to let the dogs in.

Sehr leckeres Essen und einen netten Service gibt es hier. Nette Gerichte, die man nicht überall bekommt, wie zb eine LaugenbrezelPizza. Rustikale Einrichtung, aber der Besuch lohnt sich.

Special table reservations are promised but not honored. The service staff was very unfriendly and didn't care. We have never experienced anything like this. Had to switch to another restaurant where the customers' wishes were taken into account.

That food tasted good. Nice selection of dishes, something for everyone. The negative thing was that the waiting time was unreasonably long. Orders take about 20 minutes, waiting for dishes takes about 30 minutes. We ordered soup twice and Königsberger Klopse, a dish from the daily menu. It shouldn't be so difficult to prepare. By the way, I think the portions of the soups are definitely too small, the small soup bowl is only half full, for just under 6 euros. Then we wanted dessert and coffee and had to remind several times that we wanted to order. Clearing the tables before bringing dessert is forgotten. There is clearly a lack of staff. During that time, each table could have brought customers twice. It took a total of 2 hours. A couple at the table next door gave up and walked away. The shop owner also allowed herself a nasty saying.

NOVEMBER. COMPANY HOLIDAYS. THIS IS MISSING ON THE INTERNET!!! In September: fillet pan okay, but not much meat. Unfortunately the sauce was completely over-seasoned, flavor enhancer?? Frozen croquettes, salad okay. Service was nice and quick, nice atmosphere inside and outside.

Gemütliche Einrichtung. Leider waren viele Punkte der Speisekarte ausgegangen, z.Bsp. Zwiebelsuppe, Hirschgulasch, Rindsroulade, sowie sämtliche Positionen der Pfifferlingskarte, welche draußen neben dem Eingang angebracht war. Der bestellte Sauerbraten war ordentlich, die Kartoffelklöße leider von Pfannni. Gutes Rotkraut. Angenehme Bedienung, der die Mängel offensichtlich peinlich war

Sehr leckeres Essen, hatte eine Harzer Wildcremesuppe und Hirschbraten mit Champignons und Schokoladensoufflé mit Vanilleeis bestellt. Wartezeit bis zum Essen absolut angemessen. Ich werde mit Sicherheit nicht zum letzten mal hier gewesen sein.

Günstig mitten im Ort gelegen. Schön eingerichtet und das Personal sehr nett. Wir hatten 12 Grad drauen und an unserem Tisch zu es wie Hechtsuppe, aber auf Nachfrage wurde die Glastür geschlossen. Eine schöne Karte mit vielen Standards und ein paar ausgefallenen Sachen. Wir hatten die Jägerpfanne - Filetspitzen, Champignons, Salatteller und Bratkartoffeln für 16,95 € und Pfefferschnitzel in Pfefferrahmsauce, Salatteller und Bratkartoffeln für 14,95 €. Eine Menüänderung kostet 1 Euro extra. Das Essen war gut gewürzt - die Schnitzel unserer Meinung nach Fertigware. Trotzdem immer noch ein gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Nachtrag - wie waren am nächsten Tag zum Kuchen essen da - Blaubeertorte und den Apfelstrudel mit Sahne. Sehr süss, aber genau die Kalorien, die man nach einer Wanderung braucht.

Essen war sehr lecker. Kann man nichts dran aussetzen. Der Service jedoch war leider semi. Kerze wurde nicht angezündet. Ok. Dann aber der Salatteller nicht abgeräumt, während das Essen kam. Leere Getränke nicht nach neuen erfragt, nach dem Essen lange aufs abräumen (auch nur auf Nachfrage) gewartet. Alles kein Drama, aber es geht besser. Vor allem wenn kaum etwas los ist und das Preisniveau schon etwas gehoben ist. Trotzdem eine Empfehlung wert. 😌 Nachtrag. Wir waren insgesamt drei mal vor Ort und ich muss meine Bewertung auf 5 Sterne erhöhen. Essen durchweg klasse, ein Ausrutscher beim Service. Seis drum. Empfehlung.

Super leckeres Essen. Wir haben hier in den letzten 3 Jahren regelmäßig gegessen und jedes Mal war das Essen ein Schmaus. Angemessene Preise und unterschiedliche Gerichte zuverlässig lecker. Toll, ein Hoch auf den Koch 🤗 oder Köchin natürlich.

Ok mad til prisen. Kedeligt lokale og næsten igen gæster i juli måned! Ud over os 4 var der kun 2 andre spisende gæster. Lang ventetid på maden. Vi fik burgere. Det smagte godt og der var rigeligt med mad. Men ikke noget ud over det sædvanlige. Havde forventet bedre mad og bedre service. Personalet virkede lidt ligeglade og var ikke særlig opmærksomme på os.

Sehr nette Bedienungen und gemütliches Ambiente. Essen war sehr lecker, empfehlenswert und auch preislich vollkommen im Rahmen. 2 Personen: 2x Getränke, 2x Hauptspeisen, 2x Nachspeise ca. 50€ Wir kommen wieder! :)

Sehr schön große Ferienwohnung mit wertigen Möbeln und großem Balkon. Frühstück nicht abwechslungsreich. Hauptgerichte im Lokal gut.

Wir haben dort zu Abend gegessen. Das Essen war nicht schlecht, aber auch kein Highlight.

Café ist nicht ganz richtig, sondern Café Restaurant. Essen war sehr gut. Rheinischer Sauerbraten exzellent.

Waren spontan hier, nachdem das chinesische Restaurant gegenüber unvorhergesehen geschlossen hatte. Sehr leckeres Essen, hatte eine Champignons-Rahm-Pfanne mit Spätzle. Bedienung war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, Wartezeit bis zum Essen absolut angemessen. Ambiente und Akustik im Restaurant sind ebenfalls sehr angenehm. Wir werden mit Sicherheit nicht zum letzten Mal hier gewesen sein.

Preisleistung stimmt , nicht lange auf das Essen gewartet. Das Fleisch war lecker die Bratkartoffeln genau richtig. Wir waren mit allem sehr zufrieden und können das Lokal empfehlen. Selbst unser Hund war gern gesehen und nicht wie im Nachbarlokal geduldet .

Ich war nur essen im Hotel.preislich sehr gut.und es war der beste Hamburger den ich je hatte.wir waren 2 mal da Essen.beides mal war es sehr sehr gut.

Vi fik Rheinisher sauerkrauten med apfelrotkohl og kartoffelklösse, som smagte udemærket. Der er speciel indretning i lokalet. Personalet er venligt og serveringen er udemærket.

Wir sind spontan in das Restaurant eingekehrt. Die Bedienung war freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Suppen und Flammkuchen waren sehr gut.

Sind mit einem Vierbeiner über Mittag dort eingekehrt und haben sehr angenehm im Schatten auf der Terrasse gesessen. Dass wir nichts essen wollten, sonder nur ein großes Radler und ein Kännchen Kaffee haben wollten, war kein Problem. Wir sind freundlich bedient worden. Den Gästen, die Mittagessen bestellt hatten, schien es zu schmecken.

Wir waren heute das dritte Mal hier. Hier gibt es gutbürgerliche Küche, wie bei Muttern. Es hat uns immer sehr gut geschmeckt. Ich bin Allergiker und es wurde immer eine Lösung für mich gefunden,ohne dass ich mich schlecht dabei fühlen musste. Vielen Dank.

Angesiedelt im Kurhausweg von Hahnenklee,öffnet jeden Tag außer Dienstags+Mittwochs immer von 11:00-21:30 Uhr.Es gibt auch leckere Wildgerichte so wie frische Ofenente,Speisen zum mitnehmen gibt es auch,aber Leider keinen Lieferservice.Die Übernachtung kostet von einen Einzelzimmer 37,50 Euro und das Doppelzimmer 64,-Euro.

Ambiente durchschnittlich mit merkwürdigem Farbkonzept. Rot, gelb, grün.. Alles sehr wild durcheinander und kein Stil erkennbar. Personal eher unfreundlich bis auf eine junge Mitarbeiterin, die wirklich alles gegeben hat und die 3 Punkte noch retten konnte. Das Essen (Burger und Cordonbleu) waren in Ordnung. Fleisch jeweils trocken aber insgesamt noch passabel. Die Beilage lassen zu wünschen übrig. Präsentation beim Burger top, das cordonbleu wirkt verloren auf dem riesen Teller mit billigen TK-Kroketten. Wartezeit über eine Stunde, was aber noch in Ordnung war, denn es war sehr voll. Leider konnte bis auf die besagte Mitarbeiterin nichts besonders begeistern.

Lebloser Salat und liebloses Gemüse mit fertig Hollandaise, ich denke das sagt alles. Wir waren leider genau einmal hier.
