Very friendly staff, good atmosphere

The duck breast was not pink as described on the menu but rather fried, rubbery and didn't smell particularly fresh. The staff was apathetic and disinterested. I was annoyed...

I recently discovered Café Mozart, and it's quickly become my new favorite place! The atmosphere is incredibly cozy and inviting, perfect for relaxed conversations and meetings. I plan to hold my regular get-togethers here because it just fits the bill. The staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming; you immediately feel at home. Plus, the menu is fantastic—a wide selection of drinks and food to satisfy everyone. Whether you're looking for a cozy place to work, catch up with friends, or have a regular get-together, Café Mozart is an excellent choice. Highly recommended!

Horrible, à fuir. Les serveurs ont été odieux. Alors que je faisais une crise d'allergie suite à des poivrons dans la salade (alors qu'ils n'étaient pas sur la carte) ils m'ont répondu que je n'avais qu'à annoncer mes allergies et non à la cuisine à inscrire tous les ingrédients sur la carte. J'avais pourtant fais des efforts pour m'y rendre car je suis en fauteuil roulant et qu'ils sont pas accessibles sauf en demandant une rampe amovible à l'hôtel d'à côté

From the moment I walked in the cozy and welcoming atmosphere made me feel right at home. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive ensuring a great experience. I have known the café for a very long time. I went here every week when I was at university, and since then the owner has changed several times and with it the interior design and the menu. The menu has greatly reduced in selection. The food was good, but our bread basket wasn't carefully worked on. The bread and the basket were smeared in places with a green cream? It can't be too much to ask for a clean knife to be used... I also find it a bit inappropriate to call a few slices of baguette a bread basket. But the baguette was fresh and crispy, so it was okay. However, the service was very friendly.

Das war leider nix. Das Essen ist absolut ungenügend und einfach nur fettiges Convenience Food. Dafür muss man nicht ins Restaurant. Die Kellner (es gab keine Kellnerin) sind nett, nicht besonders schnell, weil vermutlich zu viele Tische pro Kellner. Ein Teil der Bestellung kam nur auf Nachfrage, die Rechnung war falsch.

Dropped in for a savoury snack and coffee and were very pleasantly surprised. Food was delicious and well presented. We shared a couple of small bites.

First of all: I have known Café Mozart for over 20 years and I always have very positive memories of it. And yes, it was never really cheap, but the quality was always good, so you were happy to pay more than usual. Unfortunately, this Munich instance no longer does justice to my memories. Although the ambience and the extremely polite service still match my impressions, unfortunately the price-performance ratio is no longer right, and we didn't even have the classic Wiener Schnitzel, which is known for its enormous size and commendable quality. As part of a business meeting we had a portion of Penne Arabiata, a portion of cheese spaetzle + side salad and a portion of Kaiserschmarrn. The Arabiata made from chunky sugo was really tasty and the portion corresponded to the usual filling amount, but with the first bite you noticed that the pasta seemed to come out of the bag, as the taste was extremely reminiscent of convenience products and was cooked very soft. The speed at which the food was served also suggests this. This is incomprehensible given the price, as the possible margin on this dish is certainly more attractive with dry pasta. As a guest, I would rather wait a long time for a good meal than quickly find something overcooked on my plate. The cheese spaetzle were nice and cheesy, but the cheese tasted of almost nothing and the spaetzle used also seemed to be out of the bag. Unfortunately, given the small size of the portion (metal pan the size of a dessert plate) and the high price, it was a disappointment. This could definitely be better, especially in terms of taste. The Kaiserschmarrn was served directly with the main courses, even though we ordered it as dessert. The size was also manageable (metal pan the size of a dessert plate) and with all the love... no one can make a real Kaiserschmarrn as quickly as here - unless this dish also uses convenience mixes. The accompanying apple compote was also recognizable from the glass and the plum roaster was unfortunately just strained plum jam, which was extremely sweet. All in all, it's okay, but unfortunately it's not as good a meal as I remember. I hope the operators read this criticism and don't react offended, but perhaps go to other restaurants, compare their dishes with those there, especially the prices, and optimize their cuisine so that the price-performance ratio does justice to this instance.

Were there for breakfast. I took the English breakfast. Fried egg ok, the beans fridge cold and very little, the fried potatoes not fried but from the deep fryer.

The 7th of us came here today. The food came quickly and at the same time even though we ordered a large variety. The food was really tasty, very nicely prepared and therefore a clear recommendation for breakfast. Service was quick and helpful. The dining room is nicely furnished, but there is a bit of a lack of separation or something to catch the eye. The interior design matches the seating, but spatial separation would still make sense. Would love to come back.

Interesting combination of Portuguese and Indian tenants cooking Bavarian / Austrian. Good portions and quality. The “Giant Schnitzel” is really huge. The friendly waiters will soon learn that a starter soup is better served *before* rather than at the same time as the main course. 😀

It was closed!!!! The Reservation was possible although the restaurant was closed.

The restaurant wasn’t crowded. We ordered 3 drinks and 3 apple strudel, only the drinks and one apple strudel was delivered, we asked about the other two to the waiter after a few minutes and he said only one was ordered, we asked for 2 more… again, only one reached… poor service. Even speaking Deutsch they can’t serve the right order even without being crowded.

The service was extremely slow, it took them 30' to even bring us the menu cards. It had been over an hour before we got our food. Not recommended.

Update Summer 24: I just noticed that this establishment no longer exists or has been closed. Who's surprised?? Impressions from 2023: Unfriendly and snooty staff. The whole store is dingy (tables, cutlery, dishes...) especially the toilets. Quality of the food: at most sufficient. You don't have to go there!

You won't find the advertised Viennese plush decor here. The service is reasonably attentive, but the serving is rather lackluster. Unfortunately, the so-called “Sachertorte” for €6.90 is not enjoyable. Incomprehensibly high prices and worn-out inventory: clearly not a recommendation.

Cafe ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Essen kam sehr schnell, war gut und reichlich. Haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. würden wieder dorthin gehen.

SCAM ALERT: 9 Apr 2024 2012 hours, the waiter suddenly asked for "service tax* that's magically not on the receipts. He goes on to mention oh yeah tourist gets confused about it except we don't you're just blatantly trying to pocket some tips by lying. If you check the CCTV u can see us arguing back n forth about it eventually we just paid the 5 euro even though it doesn't reflect 10%. As for the food the steak was practically tasteless and the potatoes was the most flavourful thing that night. Duck was also overcooked like eating rubber. Come at your own discretion. Yes we are aware of America's stupid culture of tipping creeping around Europe but the waiter didn't ask for tips per se.

Delightful find. Just outside the tourist zone, a lovely place for a long, slow lunch. Savor the food, soak in the atmosphere.

The first thing we smelled was cat poop. The selection of cakes was poor and the quality was not convincing. You had to look for the chocolate soufflé with a magnifying glass. When we asked if we could have milk with our "pot of coffee" (2 1/3 cups!), we were given generous amounts of mini plastic coffee creamers. That going to the toilet is reminiscent of the descent into hell from Dante's Inferno - whatever, we're not made of sugar. But the service wasn't satisfactory. In all honesty, every Rewe bakery has higher standards.

The entrance door is permanently open, so it's cold and there's always the smell of cigarettes and weed in the guest room. Service only in English and unfortunately very rude

I just had dinner there with my mother. The food was really really good...the bad rating is due to the fact that there was a huge shard of glass in the giant schnitzel itself or in the salad, which luckily my mother noticed in her mouth in time. It can happen...but the way the situation was handled is the shame: The splinter was accepted silently without a word of apology or anything else. No discount on the bill..not a dying word...unfortunately this means that the service is completely out of the question for us and therefore we will unfortunately no longer visit the restaurant....

Food was above average, not exceptional, but not bad. But. We had used a 30% off voucher. The bill came and I paid half by card. My friend paid by cash. Then the waiter said there was an additional €2.50 service charge per person. He also said because we had paid separately, the 30% off should only apply per person, but that he took off 30% off the whole bill. This additional “service charge” was NOT itemised on the bill and the waiter said we had to pay it - my friend said can he just pay his half of the bill on the receipt without this unitemised service charge and the waiter insisted that “but that isn’t the bill”. Very disappointed, beware!

Before we moved from Munich, we used to go to Café Mozart very often. That's why we took the opportunity to meet there yesterday. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. The quality of the food has deteriorated quite a bit. The atmosphere was uncomfortable and there was an unpleasant smell the whole evening. The toilets were very dirty. Unfortunately we won't be coming back again.

I knew the café from before, the service and atmosphere are nice. But I was very disappointed with last week's lunch. Maybe you can't expect anything more for 12-15 euros these days? But: According to the menu "Fresh salmon fillet from the grill on saffron sauce with basmati rice and broccoli florets" were two dry, thin pieces of salmon fried with a salty, fatty breading (so definitely not from the grill), a large pile of rice, 1 (!) broccoli florets and with an indefinable hollandaise-like ready-made sauce with red threads sprinkled on top. It just didn't taste good. Soup and dessert were okay.

The food was very good, but unfortunately it took a long time (almost 1 hour) and was only brought after we asked whether the order had been lost. There was no communication regarding the delay (got lost, busy (which wasn't the case), or "even" an apology). It's a shame that the impression of good food suffered so much from the service.

There was a strange smell coming from the kitchen (as if the toilets had been there). At least that spoiled my appetite.

TERRIBLE CAT URINE SMELL. 😩 I don't know what's happened to this place. it's been here forever and we've come many times and enjoyed it, but today, it was very empty even in the middle of dinner time. that should have been a sign. On entering, there was a shockingly sharp cat pee smell (like in a house with an unclean litter box). but since the place had always been good before, we thought it might just be a weird passing thing .... no, it stayed the entire meal, sometimes coming in waves. at one point, out of sheer curiosity, we checked the bathroom--that was actually clean and fine. Too bad as the food was good, but we couldn't enjoy it in that smell :x I don't know where it's coming from, but they should close the place down until they fix it.

Im großen und ganzen war es ganz nett. Wir wurden mit 8 Personen etwas abseits plaziert, was super war. Das Essen war gut. Nur ein Frühstück wurde zur Hälfte vergessen und es kam mir so vor, als hatte die Serviskraft nicht den Durchblick, was zu den verschiedenen Frühstücks gehörte. Aber letztendlich waren alle zufrieden.

I don't recommend this restaurant to people who care about hygiene and cleanliness! It smells like a toilet in the middle area of ​​the café, I suspect it's coming from the ventilation. The mice are dancing in the shop.

We were here spontaneously at opening time on Sunday, we were greeted rudely because we didn't have a reservation. We still got our table for 5 people with the announcement “it’s about to get full here…” Food and drinks came in a timely manner

We were really disappointed. We were there for breakfast when the first shock came when the coffee came. 2 absolutely dirty cups. At first we thought it was coffee that had spilled down, but it was dried up. The whole half of the cup was dirty. You have to see something like that. The service was also bad. We had finished eating for a while, but the table wasn't cleared, even though there were only 8 people with us in the café. The inventory and ambience were not what the pictures had promised. The toilets in the basement were the absolute highlight. Broken and dirty. Just disgusting. We cannot recommend the café more highly.

Wir waren zum Frühstück dort. Als erstes haben wir Kaffee bestellt, der kam in total dreckigen Tassen, erst dachten wir das war Kaffee der frisch übergelaufen war, aber es war fest eingetrocknet . Also 2 Tassen die benutzt weitergegeben worden sind. Wir haben reklamiert und es kamen 2 frische Tassen Kaffee in sauberen Tassen. Das hofften wir zumindest. Beim Frühstück kann man nicht viel falsch machen. Dann waren wir fertig mit essen, es wurde nicht einmal nachgefragt ob alles ok sei. Wir warteten vergebens das der volle Tisch abgeräumt wurde, wir hätten gerne noch etwas getrunken aber es kam niemand. Als ich dann auf due Toilette musste kam mir fast das Essen wieder hoch. Toiletten im eiskalten Keller, die Wände verschmiert und Türen und Spiegel kaputt

Sehr nettes Lokal mit sehr gutem Essen; relativ kleine, aber abwechslungsreiche Speisekarte (was für den kleinen Hunger, aber auch gute Schnitzel, Burger oder Schinkennudeln), dazu eine interessante Wochenkarte. Wir gehen sehr gerne zum Abendessen her, man bekommt immer einen Platz, sogar am Freitagabend.

Service kaum vorhanden, obwohl das Lokal nicht annähernd voll war, haben Bestellungen lange gedauert und als das Frühstück serviert wurde, kam niemand mehr. Zum Zahlen musste man mehrfach nachfragen. Das Baguette war nicht frisch. Bei Ankunft hat es stark nach Frittierfett gerochen.

Abbiamo fatto il cenone dell' ultimo dell' anno in questo ristorante. Nonostante non avessi prenotato, e il ristorante era pieno, la ragazza all ingresso ha trovato subito una sistemazione per noi. Menù ben fornito e prezzi ragionevoli. Cibo e vino di ottima qualità. Staff molto cortese, disponibile e professionale. Sicuramente ci ritorneremo se passiamo da Monaco.

Siamo venute per cena con la mia migliore amica. Locale molto carino e tranquillo, porzioni abbondanti (cotoletta gigante e buonissima accompagnata da patatine e insalata) e personale accogliente e simpatico. Prezzi giusti nella media. Assolutamente consigliato!!

Das Café Mozart ist zu jeder Tageszeit einen Besuch wert. Sehr nette und schnelle, Bedienung. Ich besuche es immer wieder gerne mit Freunden um mit Ihnen eine schöne Zeit bei einfachem Essen und günstigen Preisen zu verbringen.

Das ganze Team vom Cafe Mozart ist so freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Stimmung und Atmosphäre des Personals untereinander immer super. Frühstücksauswahl ist gigantisch und immer frisch zubereitet. Es gibt auch ganz frische, warme Croissants, die suuuuupppper lecker schmecken. 😋 Neben der großen Frühstück Auswahl, gibt es auch täglich sehr gutes abwechselndes Mittagessen. Auch für größere Gruppen geeignet. Abends kann man sehr gute Cocktails 🍸 🍸 🍸 🍸 🍸 🍸 🍸 genießen, mit und ohne Alkohol. Der Mitarbeiter Ali, so wie sämtliche Kollegen×innen begrüßen einen stets freundlich und sind immer sehr aufmerksam.

Es gibt viele Auswahl von Frühstück. Unsere Kellnerin war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam auf unseren Tisch. Gerne wieder!

Wenig los trotzdem war der Service desinteressiert. Man musste mehrmals darum bitten bedient zu werden. Essen war ok. Schade ....

Das essen ist recht gut, ich bekam teilweise anderes als bestellt. Zum Beispiel ein Omelette statt Rührei. Oder beim Bayrischen Frühstück ein Helles Bier statt Weizen. Und die Kommunikation mit den Mitarbeitern ist schwierig, weil diese fast nur englisch sprechen. Ich würde dort eher nicht mehr hingehen.

Heruntergekommener Laden, der Charme der ehemaligen Cafés ist überhaupt nicht mehr vorhanden. Stattdessen fehlende Polster, krachende Lautsprecher, Personal dem man zum Bezahlen nachlaufen darf. Aber die Krönung ist der Weg zu den Toiletten. Dermaßen dreckig, wirklich bemerkenswert. Einziger Pluspunkt: der Kakao mit Baileys war heiß und lecker.
