The waiter, who's been there for years, is excellent, but €4.50 for a small cappuccino is absolutely outrageous. Compared to other places nearby, it's outrageous.

We really enjoyed the pizza. The lady who served us was friendly, and the atmosphere was calm and pleasant. Highly recommended.

We had a very disappointing experience. We ordered two seafood pizzas, but they were extremely salty, almost inedible. We had to drink water with just to be able to eat part of them, since we hadn’t had lunch yet. In the end, we paid almost 42 euros for two pizzas, which is way too expensive for such a poor experience. The waiter was polite, but they didn’t offer any gesture of goodwill. Their explanation was that “seafood pizzas are salty because of the seafood” which makes no sense. On top of that, the place smelled like cigarette smoke even inside, which made the experience even worse. We won’t be coming back and wouldn’t recommend this place.

The service was unfortunately VERY poor. We were there with a larger group and unfortunately received the wrong food. The chef must have made a mistake, which is totally okay and can happen. What is NOT OKAY, however, is the waiter trying to cheat us by not re-preparing the food correctly, as we had politely requested, but simply taking it back to the kitchen and simply changing the topping. And this despite us having already stated that we were perfectly fine with waiting another time for the correct food. Unfortunately, the server spoke neither good German nor good English, which made communication difficult. After a brief exchange with one of his colleagues, who seemed at least somewhat interested in fixing the problem, we finally received our correct food. Unfortunately, we couldn't enjoy it, as the other server had already been so unfriendly and rude to us that we were literally afraid he had "spit in our soup." Even though we kept three of the five faulty dishes, the server, who spoke neither German nor English, still wanted to charge the regular price for the dishes we hadn't even gotten. These were, believe it or not, a whopping €6 more expensive than the dishes the three of us ultimately had. The server then displayed a truly rude attitude during the payment process and made several completely inappropriate comments. This behavior was truly deplorable. The food, at least the one that arrived correctly, was okay. Not a masterpiece, but quite tasty. That's why it gets two stars. I still absolutely cannot recommend this restaurant. However, if you want bad service at exorbitant prices, this is the place for you. I can only advise the owner to better educate his servers on how to properly treat customers who spend several hundred euros on food in a large group, and that it is outrageous to try to cheat guests like this.

The restaurant is okay. The staff is nice, friendly, and quick. The food tastes good 👍 The interior is a bit dated and needs a thorough renovation. The restrooms 🚽 also need to be renovated as soon as possible. All in all, still recommended. 👍

We waited for a long time before someone helped us. Then there was a hair wen the waitress brought out cultery. It was the waitress who had her hair lose. Food was good but after we were done they told us you can only pay with cash, but there was never a sign. Would i recommend this restaurant No!

Yeah, you know, it was fine. Not 10/10 but it was fine. Pasta could have been a little more flavorful, but the Kaiserschmarren were delicious and we had a cheerful host!

Italian restaurant, but unfortunately it was a letdown from start to finish. The pasta was barely cooked — more chewy than al dente — and completely lacking in flavor. It honestly tasted like they forgot to season it at all. To make matters worse, they don’t accept credit cards, which is just inconvenient in 2025. The ambiance was just as uninspired — plain decor, no atmosphere, and it felt more like a cafeteria than a cozy Italian spot. Stay away and give your money to a restaurant with ambitions instead!

Café Milano is recommended, but always reserve in advance. Otherwise you have no chance during peak hours from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m

Wunderbar!! The Spaghetti Bolognese is delicious. I paired it with a Chianti. The Penne Pesto is also very good. Great place close to the Aachener Dom.

Were there during the Aachen Christmas market. A very good alternative to Currywurst and Co. Attentive service, good selection of drinks, good food. We were completely satisfied!

Bad experience. They bring the wrong pizza, out of stock on the squash cream, a piece of plastic in my pasta, the CB machine which doesn't work today, the famous Italian soundtrack from the pizzerias with all the "hits" in spades ( broadcast too loudly), the smells of frying in the back room,... in short. Other than that, the pizza was okay and so was my pasta.

My wife and I were in Aachen for a short trip a few weeks ago and got lost at Cafe Milano for dinner. It just looked inviting, we could sit outside when the weather was nice and there was still space. We don't regret our decision! The service was very friendly, attentive and quick, the portions were a decent size, and the prices were great considering the quality. I had a pizza with eggplant and zucchini. The best pizza I have tasted in this version. My wife had spaghetti with seafood and was very satisfied. Everything was fresh, hot and delicious. If we lived in Aachen, we would probably be there more often. It was a bit of a shame that the kitchen closed at 9 p.m. in the evening and so we couldn't go back the next day. In addition, after a certain time it gets a bit tiring/noisy because of the clientele that is in the square in front of it. That dampens the mood a little. But of course it's not the operator's fault.

Even though it says so explicitly on the menu, there is no longer breakfast on Sundays. Both the cappuccino and coffee were strong and very tasty. The service was very friendly.

The service was without any smiles or friendliness. The spaghetti portion for 15.90 was a children's portion, once and never again!

We waited for 40 minutes, then they said the food was ready, so we left. They probably forgot because others who ordered pizza after us got it before us. Unfortunately not recommended.

Overall the atmosphere is amazing but the service is disappointedly slow not so good friendly I believe it’s should be more active but wasn’t we had food like pasta and pizza the pasta was not well boiled and the pizza was dry and tasteless more over not well presented and according to price it’s way expensive we had dessert either that was really great and coffee was amazing

review the politeness of the waiter who supposedly is the only one who does not understand French.. Who allows himself to make fun of us with Germans just sitting next to us.. Throws away the receipt without goodbye or thank you.. . knowing that he understands English... We asked him for bread.. This waiter was a disaster.. Phew the person who welcomed us improves the service of this restaurant...

Morgens zum Frühstücken dorthin. Schwere Entäuschung. Rührei ( 3 Eier) und 1 Brötchen, 2Tassen Kaffee. Saftige 15€, Tee (Zitronenmelisse, 1 kl.Scheibe Orange, 1 mini Stück Ingwer) über 9€. Das ist echt wucher. Im Lokal selber überall ein penetranter ekelhafter Geruch. WC Türen alle def. und nicht zu schliessen. Von der Herrentoilette aus strömte ein massiver Uringeruch durch die ganzen Räume. Einfach nur der Hammer (negativ) nie wieder. Peinlich für uns Aachen😒

Die Bruscetta Classica hier ist ein Traum! Einfach super lecker und auch für Veganer ist damit was dabei. Es gibt sogar ein rein veganes Frühstück. Nur die Pommes sind etwas labbelig. Aber Das ist ja auch kein italienisches Gericht. Zur Pizza: ein Schwabe würde sagen „passt schon“. Also kann man die Pizza hier nur hoch loben! Alles in allem definitiv empfehlenswert vor allem wenn man sich an die italienischen Gerichte hält. Von den Pommes ist abzuraten.

Great location close to the bus stops at Elisenbrunnen and close to the cathedral area. We ate there twice - a great Gorgonzola pizza with a fantastic crispy crust and some lovely bowls of pasta. the price is good value for money (though the cost for bottled still water was expensive, much more so than a lovely Bitburger was!) A special shout out and thank you to the friendly staff who were cheerful and efficient and made us feel very welcome. The outside seating area is nice while inside the seats were very comfortable.

Food what way too simple , when you know that you can make it better yourself then I believe you are paying too much for it. The prices on the menu card looked interesting but when you see the quantity and quality then it's way too overpriced. Personnel was unfriendly and cherry on the cake , they made us go get some cash at the bank because they didn't accept cards. They should announce this before people order therefore they don't do it , knowing well too well most people like to pay with cards in 2023 .At least give them the choice. I would definitely not recommend this place

Ich kann dieses Restaurant niemandem empfehlen. Die Portionen sind ein absoluter Witz und geschmacklich wird dies keinesfalls ausgeglichen. Bestellt wurden die penne norma, gefühlt waren da 150 Gramm Pasta drauf mit etwas langweiliger Soße. Da kann mir keiner erzählen das man sich da Mühe gegeben hat, das Gericht bekommt man wahrscheinlich überall besser zu kaufen als dort. Sucht euch lieber ein anderes Restaurant

Prima om wat te gaan drinken. Aardige bediening. We hebben niet gegeten dus daar kan ik geen mening over geven. Café Milano ligt wel lekker in het centrum waardoor het een makkelijk bereikbare restaurant is.

Habe meinen Vater auf Geschäftsreise begleitet und sind dann abends in Aachen hier vorbei gekommen. Wir haben uns Saltimbocca mit Nudeln und eine Pizza bestellt. Zum Trinken gab es Wein und Mineralwasser. Die Qualität der Speisen war super. Gerne wieder! Das Lokal ist auf einem Platz gelegen, also Leute gucken inklusive. ;-)

We had quite a nice experience in Aachen until we decided to eat something here. Ordered two pizza and a lasagna. Pizza was partially eatable, but lasagna... oh boy - some sour cheese with old pasta cooked at least 5 times and something brown, organic.

Very good good quality, very good service. The coffee and drinks are not so special but the kitchen is very efficient, used good quality products. The service is very good as well, the waiting time is correct and the Tunisian waiter very professional. I highly recommend, I am never disappointed.

Wir haben uns auf leckeres italienisches Essen gefreut. Der Service war nicht gut und das Essen schon gar nicht. Ich habe eine Lasagne bestellt, die sah alles andere als frisch aus. Hat auch nicht gut geschmeckt, die Soße hatte einen leicht säuerlich Geschmack. Ich hab es dem Kellner gesagt, der ist zum Koch hin und der hat ihm gesagt die sei frisch, er ist dann zu einem anderen Kellner gelaufen der dann zu uns kam und fragte was das Problem sei. Ich sagte, dass die Lasagne nicht frisch sei und komisch schmeckt, er sagt die ist frisch gemacht von gestern. Naja frisch von gestern geht nicht, frisch bedeutet, dass sie vor dem Servieren frisch gemacht wurde und nicht einen Tag davor. Daraufhin fragte er, wie es denn gehen sollte Lasagne frisch am selben Tag zuzbereiten.... seltsam jedes andere italienische Restaurant schafft das! Die Pizzas waren auch nicht so der Wahnsinn. Kein Lokal das ich empfehlen würde, überteuerte Preise für schlechte Qualität und dann noch mit dem Gast diskutieren. Würde null Sterne geben wenns ginge.

Parfait ! Personnel aux petits soins mais pas envahissant ! Bien situé et tarif correct. Joli cadre et fond musical très plaisant. Nous pouvons voir la cuisine, ce qui inspire confiance. Le français n'est pas parlé dans le restaurant mais l'anglais l'est un peu. Facile de se faire comprendre (même sans parler anglais).

Adds 3 € on the bill as ‘service cost’ which is no where indicated on their card. We asked for explanation, but it was confirmed to be normal. The waiter followed us afterwards (when they saw we took out our smartphone to write a review) and repayed the 3 €, claiming it was a mistake. Still seems they tried to rip us off. Food was OK.

Had lunch here. Good food, reasonably priced. Unfortunately the waiter, having read my name on the credit card, thought it would be a good idea to make a stale joke on my surname. (First time in over 60 years in Germany). I thought it would be a good idea to forget the tip and give a two-star review. In all fairness the food deserves five stars.

Onbeschofte en onvriendelijke bediening. Pastagerecht was ook maar zus en zo. Wij komen in ieder geval niet meer terug.

Qualità mediocre, servizio un po’ scadente. La pizza sembra piu un flammkuchen non ha niente di pizza! Il cuoco esce nella terrazza per fumare indossando un guanto per poi ritornare in cucina e continuare a cucinare con lo stesso guanto. L’ambiente è carino peccato che gestito male

Viel zu teuer für schlechtes Essen ( sowohl Frühstück als auch Abendessen). Unser Essen entsprach nicht der Beschreibung der Karte, welche aussah wie gebrauchtes Zeitungspapier. Bedienung äußerst unfähig und inkompetent. Teilweise der deutschen Sprache nicht mächtig. Hinzu kommen viel zu lange Wartezeiten. Sich selber als Restaurant zu bezeichnen ist ein Witz. Für nen kleinen Drink zwischendurch vielleicht ok, mehr aber auch nicht. Wir gehen nicht mehr hin.

Wir hatten hier den schlechtesten Eiskaffee unseres Lebens, einfach nur eine Kugel Eis im Kaffee, keine Sahne, keine Liebe zum Detail, es sah nicht gut aus. Hier besteht Handlungsbedarf! Ansonsten darf man sowas nicht anbieten... Die Toiletten sind renovierungsbedürftig und ich konnte die Tür nicht zusperren weil der Türbeschlag kaputt war, die Türklinke hing auch schon nach unten. Definitiv keine Empfehlung..
