Good food, but unfortunately the toilets seemed a bit clogged - the place smelled unpleasantly of faeces. Otherwise long waiting time. That's better!

The company's answers are genuinely for amusement. The fact that something is discussed in the team that should no longer happen, as with Ms. Jaeschke, is a joke. The Aposto closes at the end of the month. Provided on August 31st. there are enough staff still there. The answers here are getting better and better from the aposto. Does anyone still believe what they write there? From 1.9. everything will be better.

Unfortunately, the meals arrived very delayed, first for an adult, then for the children and then the second adult meal. The pizza rolls were black on the bottom, so a replacement was promised. Unfortunately it didn't come until ages later, and in between we changed tables in consultation with the waitress because of the rain. Then we were informed that we had to change the table again with all our luggage because it was reserved. The pizza rolls still didn't come, so we took them with us. The new ones were also black and not baked through. Overall a bad experience.

We reserved a table a few days ago and were very excited to be able to eat there, but we were disappointed before we even arrived. We called to let them know that we would be 15 minutes late, but they then said that they had already done the last round (ordering food and drinks) and would close in 1 hour because they didn't have enough staff. We were then told that they wanted to call us and let us know, but 15 minutes!!! before our reservation, but it seems to have been taken care of since we already called them. If you already knew that you have little staff available today, we expect at least an hour in advance of the reservation, but actually it is most appropriate if we are informed in the morning so that we can reschedule. So now we're sitting in the car without a plan! Service DISASTER!! At least we got a little apology.

A friend and I wanted to eat at Aposto today. To be honest, I haven't been there in a while, but I knew from the past that the ambience and food were always great. Unfortunately, we didn't get to "enjoy" it at all. Because when we sat down outside, we were completely ignored. We sat there for at least 15 minutes until the waiter approached the table. Not before he came to a stop in front of us, he rolled his eyes, seemed visibly annoyed and said briefly and succinctly in the same tone: "Sorry for the wait!" I remained friendly, but pointed out that we had been waiting here for 15 minutes. FYI: The outdoor area was not crowded and had a normal number of guests on average. He reacted annoyed and sulky that he had work to do. For my girlfriend and I it was a no-go and I immediately jumped up and said: "Sorry, but we'll wait and then we'll receive an unfriendly welcome. We don't need that." "He continued to rant about something with his back to us while we tried to walk away from the aposto. But because his very unprofessional reaction didn't stop, I couldn't help but say to him, "What has happened to this shop? No wonder Aposto has reported bankruptcies, with service like that, I'm not surprised that the guests are missing." And yes, I was actually happy to eat there again after a long time. But I'll never enter the store again. With service like that Aposto deserves to close. Luckily, we were treated like guests in another restaurant and enjoyed it more than anything. But I still had to leave this review , we are not the only affected guests. See you again!!!!

Top service, beautiful location in the heart of Aachen

Service is the worst I have ever seen. You are simply ignored, no one shows any interest in coming to your table, until you can order your drinks and get them, half an hour to three quarters of an hour passes, then you sit there again for another 30 minutes and have to watch them having a coffee chat instead of that Bringing food that has been sitting around for 10 minutes or taking the order. Food was already better, but is increasingly declining. Pizza lukewarm, edge hard and difficult to cut. Unfortunately the taste isn't that good anymore, the bottom isn't even really finished yet...

The names of the dishes are incredibly confusing. forest plants garden magic no idea but it was confusing.

#### Visit to the Aposto on July 4th, 2024 Unfortunately, my visit to the Aposto was very disappointing. Right from the start we had to wait a long time for our table and then even longer for our food. The staff was unfriendly and unhelpful. I had the Philly pizza for €16, which turned out to be totally overpriced. The meat was of poor quality, some of the ingredients listed were missing, and there was a lot of skimping on the ingredients. We had a coupon that promised us two pizzas for the price of one. However, the waiter refused to redeem the coupon before the meal, and after the meal they suddenly said that this was no longer possible because it was supposedly stored that way in the system. As a result, we had to pay €32 instead of €16 for two pizzas, which were also of very poor quality. We found this to be extremely unfair and deliberate exploitation on the part of the employee. Overall our visit was a big disappointment and we certainly won't be visiting Aposto again.

We were just watching football here and were practically thrown out. Immediately after the last penalty, the television was switched off, even though there were still many tables full of people and drinks. A little bit of sensitivity would do the store a lot of good. We definitely won't be coming back...

We had pasta Napoli twice, once without and once with pesto and we were brought twice with pesto and extra pesto. Also, the waiter mischarged us. The food wasn't good. This can be done better. The homemade drinks are also quite expensive for not much taste.

Zum Musik Event . Wenn man Neue Leute hinter der Theke stehen hat sollte man auch eine kompetente Person daneben stellen . 1/2 Stunde auf ein Wasser gewartet . Bei der Wärme von 30 grad im Innenbereich sollte man auch mehr als ein Stück Eis bekommen . Wodka hatte Zimmertemperatur. Ansonsten ein sehr schöner Laden . Und wenn man schon nichts bekommt . Sollte man die letzte Runde ankündigen .

Nice restaurant with a great courtyard. Pizza was very good, pasta left something to be desired. But overall nice experience.

I was here for the second time now. On both occasions I was left sitting without a drink for far too long. In general, the supply of drinkables can be improved, but you have to let that go. Good tap selection! However, I have to comment on the quality of the food here. I've already had a pizza and the monthly burger and both were disappointing. I'm never coming back.

We've been coming regularly for many years, but unfortunately we've had increasingly negative experiences in the last few months. Pizza is still just as tasty, but the service was always bad on our last visits, very disorganized and chaotic, very long waiting times to order every time, sometimes over 40 minutes to order a drink and sometimes wrong orders. It's a shame, as Aposto wasn't used to this form until a year ago. We certainly won't be coming back for a while. Hopefully people are working on things here, because the potential was (and is?) always there...

Very tasty cocktails... but you have to wait a long time for service... we were in the outside area and first of all you have to notice that someone is coming by.

The service is a complete disaster, the waiter is not at all structured and organized. We waited half an hour for the drinks, the drinks came to the table incorrectly 3 times and something was always missing. The food was lukewarm and the pizza was inedible. And outrageous for these overpriced prices.

Overall, the food isn't all that special, but it's very good. The pizza is delicious and well topped. Everything else is good too, but I haven't tried it yet. It's practical that you can order pizzas half and half. The cocktails are delicious and also pretty cheap during happy hour. The service is very friendly, if it's full you wait a little, but that's the case everywhere. The atmosphere in the old post office building is great and you can also sit outside. However, in midsummer it gets quite warm in the middle part.

I often go to Aachen for work and have already been to the Aposto twice. The service staff are really nice and very attentive - be it when it comes to drinks, missing chairs or anything else. Before you can ask, someone from service has already helped. Two thumbs up for that. The pizzas also get two thumbs up. It's really great that you can choose two halves or even put together your own pizza. Another plus point is the proximity to the city center, the accessibility by public transport and - ideal for business trips - the walking distance to several good hotels.

You can tell from the staff that they don't feel like it, the tables aren't clean and if the guests' glasses are empty, why should you ask them if they need anything else?

Great, courteous service... I usually eat the "men's food", tried everything else, unfortunately it wasn't for me... ...unfortunately the men's thing has also slowed down a bit. A lot more cheese, which isn't bad in general... but less barbecue sauce... but a 1 star deduction.

We were with a big one Group there and had a great evening. The selection and food were very good and the atmosphere was really nice and special. The food came quickly and when there was a small delay we were informed immediately. Particularly noteworthy is the super nice service. When we arrived we were warmly greeted by a member of staff and taken to our table. Then a colleague took over the operation. Due to the large and international group, it was a bit loud and confusing at times. Overall, the restaurant was full and obviously a lot to do. But our waiter didn't let that bother him. On the contrary. He was warm, humorous and patient with us and played a key role in ensuring that our German/French/Belgian/Dutch group had such a great evening. Absolute recommendation!

On a windy and cool day you can still enjoy the atmosphere of an outdoor restaurant. That's possible here in the Old Posthof. It is a very high, covered courtyard with catering seating. Food was great, drinks ok. An inferior cocktail doesn't taste good even at happy hour. Otherwise absolutely recommended.

Aposto has a wonderful location in the middle of Aachen, in the Kapuziner Karree. The food is very tasty, the prices are absolutely reasonable. The atmosphere is relaxed and relaxed, the staff very friendly and attentive. Always my pleasure!

After we had to wait over an hour for the food (the restaurant was hardly busy) the pizza arrived cold and soggy and smelled of old cleaning rags. Additionally, the truffle oil that was on the menu was missing.

Wir waren mit meinem Papa im Aposto. Mein Mann hatte eine Pizza, wir wählten die Liebhaber Pasta. Die Pasta wurde mit 3 Gambas, 3 Scheiben Landschinken, Ziegenkäse und Kirschtomaten serviert. Hätte bei dem Preis auch 4-5 Gambas seien können. Das Personal war sehr busy. Wir durften nicht im schönen Posthof sitzen. Man setzte uns in eine dunkle Ecke. Das fanden wir nicht so cool.

We meet here every three months with +/- twenty colleagues at our “seniors’ meeting” for a lunchtime chat. The staff is always friendly and the central location is easy to reach by bus and train. The prices are ok and the sanitary facilities are very well maintained, what more could you want. Certainly late in the evening, when there are a lot of cinema-goers on site or when there is public viewing at the upcoming European Championships, it may be a different story, but we are all satisfied so far!🥰👮👍

I've been here twice so far. The first time I ordered a pizza called wild cow. I got a cold pizza margarita with the cheapest pesto verde and a whole "burata", which was in a refrigerator-cold piece in the middle of the pizza. Unfortunately, of course, it wasn't a real burata but a normal mozzarella with a kind of cream cheese filling like you get at discount stores everywhere. On my second visit, I ordered the “Godfather” pasta. These were so dripping with oil that even half the portion almost made me sick. The price is also quite high for the poor quality food. The beer was good 👌🏼. Unfortunately, service only came to our table after requesting it. The ambience is relatively nice, but it can't make up for the problems in the kitchen.

The ambience is nice, the service is quite friendly and you get full. But that was about the positive points. None of the dishes that I or my companion ate really tasted good. Totally unseasoned, cold, dripping with fat... I can't recommend anything on the menu so far. Last time, my juice spritzer was brought to me with a single measly ice cube, which melted in the warm juice within a few minutes. In addition, the service was friendly, but always very inattentive and only came to the table when asked. And all of this at comparatively high prices. Definitely not recommended!

A nice place to be in Aachen. Sociable, sitting in the middle of the rows of houses in a trattoria in the ambience of an Italian city and being able to experience good and eager service even with a larger group. Using simple means to make the guest satisfied and happy is definitely possible here! Male service worker whose name I can't pronounce and certainly can't write, but he comes from Syria. Great and attentive. A good choice for both sides! The dessert is amazing! Rarely so good!

Unfortunately a very disappointing experience. The day before yesterday afternoon we drove from Düren to the Aposto in Aachen with eight people to have dinner there for my birthday. The reception of the service staff left a lot to be desired. When asked whether you could also sit outside (which is also inside), the lady replied: “No, only inside”. When asked whether you could sit in the right inner area, as it was not clear which one she meant, she replied annoyed: “No, only THIS inner area!”. As we sat at the table and waited for the menus, the lady looked over at us and instead of bringing us the cards, she apparently thought to herself: “No, I'll make two cappuccinos for another table first”. Extremely unprofessional time management for a service person who seemed annoyed and overwhelmed by two small tables and ours. We already had a bad impression and briefly considered going out to eat somewhere else, although that would be difficult to do spontaneously with eight people without a reservation. After about 10 minutes she finally brought us the cards. The pizzas were okay in that respect, but I think it's an impertinence to offer two small pieces of chicken breast, which amounted to around 200g (if at all), dry and without a side dish for €18. Instead, there was small, shapeless and already dried out rocket as decoration. Never again and not recommended at all!

Extremely unpolite staff, we were told we could not seat in the terrace, but clients were sitting there. When asked about it, a waitress said "you are not chosen for that area" (I really hope it was an English language issue). When asked again to her and another waiter they said "you can sit there but you will not have a waiter". I hope they all had a bad day. My salad was good, my partner's pizza wasn't.

At rush hour, two hard-working waiters simply had no chance of keeping up with everything, there's no blame for that. An hour later, when there was significantly less going on and there were significantly more staff on the evening shift, our main course was also forgotten. After 2.25 hours we were through, all in all an extremely unhappy evening for both sides, I guess. Both pizzas were okay, too dry, calzone was a bit raw, I think that was due to the speed of preparation. The service remained nice but hardly had a chance, especially at rush hour. From the guest's perspective, to be honest, an unhappy or bad evening overall...

Portionen sind viel zu klein für den Preis, mit Arbeiter war viel zu eilig und hat sich kaum für die Kunden interessiert, die Sauce von der carbonara hat sehr sehr lasch geschmeckt. Bin leider enttäuscht.

Die Carbonara war leider nicht so gut. Es war eher eine glibrige Sahnesauce. Die Cocktails waren sehr gut. Der Service war leider katastrophal. Es hat eine Weile gedauert, bis überhaupt unsere Bestellung aufgenommen wurde. Dann waren die Getränke teilweise bereits leer, als das Essen kam, nur leider kam in der ganzen Zeit des Essen niemand an unseren Tisch um die Bestellung aufzunehmen. Nach dem Essen hatten wir noch ne Stunde Zeit und wollten noch etwas trinken, leider hat es auch dann keiner zu unserem Tisch geschafft (auch nicht um abzuräumen) und somit hatte sich das dann auch erledigt. Nach dem wir dann eine Stunde gewartet haben, haben wir dann die Rechnung bestellt ( wir haben den Kellner gerufen). Die Kellner waren leider auch die meiste Zeit aus der Sichtweite und somit nicht zu erreichen.

Eine große Enttäuschung. Ich bestellte Spaghetti Carbona und bekam sehr weich gekochte Linguini in einer Pampe, die total künstlich und fad schmeckte, also weit entfernt von Sahnesauce. Dem netten Kellner war es peinlich zugeben zu müssen, dass es keine frisch zubereitete Sahnesauce sei, sondern vom Franchising so vorgegeben sei. Auch Sonderwünsche bzgl Dressing konnten nicht erfüllt werden, da alles vorgefertigt sei. Die Bedienung allerdings sehr freundlich und professionell.

Wir hatten das 3 Gänge Menü . Es war alles super lecker, toll angerichtet. Das Bruschetta mit Avocadocreme war hervorragend. Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend. Schönes Ambiente. Wir kommen gerne wieder. 😘

Essen ist Top aber mein Geld lasse ich lieber bei der Konkurrenz. Leider war mein Besuch nicht angenehm, da die Schichtleiterin namens Miriam unhöflich zu mir und meinen Kindern war. Darüber hinaus fiel mir sehr auf, dass Mitarbeiter unter ihrem Management leiden, was sehr besorgniserregend ist! Mir sind einige Mitarbeiter bei Aposto bekannt und ich höre nur noch negatives seid 3 Monaten. Ihr respektloses Verhalten, beleidigende Äußerungen und die Tatsache, dass sie die Rechte der Mitarbeiter verletzt, machen den Kollegen den Arbeitstag zu belastung. Ich habe noch nie sowas gehört. Der Umgang ist ohne Scham & Respekt. Dieses Restaurant ist nicht mehr das was es mal war! Nochmal zur Erinnerung. Der Job heißt Schichtleiterin & nicht Arbeiter wie sklaven behandeln!

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend, das Essen war sehr lecker und besonders gefallen hat uns der Kellner Robin mit seiner sehr zuvorkommenden und sympathischen Art.

Wir wurden super nett und zuvorkommend von der lustigen Elke bedient. Hatten es eilig, durften sogar vor dem essen zahlen und es ging sehr flott!

I am a regular customer at Aposto for more than 4 years now. My recommendation: Spartakus Salad The only disadvantage that I can highlight is that I am missing diversity of choice. Besides that, everything is fine!

An Silvester war das Essen einfach eine Unverschämtheit. Die Köche, die das verbrochen hatten sollten mal ihren Job lernen: das Hähnchen(Gericht) war völlig kaputtgebrstwn und so trocken, dass es ohne Getränk überhaupt nicht zu kauen war. Für diese Frechheit mussten auch noch 18€ gezahlt werden. Das Nudel-Bolognesegericht war in sich maximal als Kinderteller anzubieten. Die Nudeln waren lauwarm, von Bolognese fast nichts zu finden. Es ist dringend davon abzuraten im Aposto etwas anderes außer Pizza zu bestellen. Aber wahrscheinlich werden die das wohl auch nicht hinbekommen. Die einzige rühmliche Ausnahme war unser Kellner wobei andere Kellner auch sichtlich keine Lust auf Arbeit an Silvester hatten. Auf jeden Fall wird dieser Laden zukünftig auf sechs Gäste weniger rechnen können. Und jeder von uns wird in seinem bekannten- und Familienkreis dafür sorgen, dass sich die „Werbung“ möglichst weit herumspricht. Ralf Hallmann

An für sich alles super. Aber... man wartet teilweise wirklich extrem lange auf die Bedingungen. Ich verstehe vollkommen, dass das passieren kann und vor allem dann, wenn es voll ist. Es war aber nicht voll. Und man konnte hören, wie sich oben unterhalten wurde an der Theke. Gibt einem irgendwie kein schönes Gefühl.

Gutes italienisches Essen in schönem Ambiente mit gutem Service.

Zweiter Weihnachtstag lecker das Weihnachtsmenu gegessen und wir wurden super versorgt durch den sehr netten Majd. Selten einen so netten Gastronomie Mitarbeiter kennen gelernt, der sich wirklich sehr gut um seine Gäste kümmert.

Das Essen war in Ordnung aber nichts besonderes. Der Service ist sehr unzufriedenstellend, der Kellner kommt etwas aggressiv rüber. Das trübt die schöne Atmosphäre des Ladens.

Wir sind seid Jahren Stammkunden im Aposto in Aachen. Leider hat der Service stark nachgelassen. Es ist mir ein Rätsel, wie wir bei einem vierstündigen Aufenthalt nur drei mal vom Service nach großen Winkaktionen unsererseits beachtet wurden. Eins davon war die Frage nach der Rechnung. Die Tische im Umkreis wurden auch sehr rar vom Service aufgesucht, sodass am Nebentisch jemand aufgestanden ist, um auf sich aufmerksam zu machen, um nach einer Stunde (!) Sitz- und Wartezeit endlich die ersten Getränke und das Essen zu bestellen. Das Essen kam dann nach der nächsten Stunde kalt. Es war lecker, aber ich möchte für 14€ keine kalte Pizza im Restaurant essen. Dann kann ich sie mir auch liefern lassen. Als wir nach der Rechnung noch nach der No Peeking Aktion gefragt haben, wurden wir sehr unfreundlich angemacht und nur wiederwillig an die Gutscheine gekommen. Ich habe selbst lange im Service gearbeitet und habe eine große Toleranzschwelle, da ich auch stressige Situationen mit zu wenig Personal durchgemacht habe. Aber das Verhalten gestern war eine absolute Frechheit und nicht das erste Mal, dass man so vom Service behandelt wurde. Irgendwann gehen die Ausreden aus, woran es liegt und da wir uns auch selbst reflektiert haben und es schon von einigen Freundeskreisen gehört haben: Das Servicepersonal ist dermaßen schlecht geworden, dass man es sich mehrmals sehr gut überlegen sollte, ob es einem Wert ist, dort essen zu gehen. Sehr, sehr schade, da es die gute Küche nicht ausgleichen kann - ist ja alles kalt.

Sehr gute Auswahl beim Essen. Gute Getränkekarte. Netter Service .
