Café Madrid in Aachen

I haven't been this excited about visiting a cafe/bar in a long time! The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, the atmosphere is simply great – cozy and authentic. And the food? Absolutely fantastic! I haven't eaten something so delicious in a long time. A clear recommendation for anyone who wants to enjoy good food and a great atmosphere. I'll definitely be back!

Service was okay. Tea and coffee are good. Music was hell. There's more going on on WDR4 😂😭 The mood was like that too, idk. I mean if you are a student in Aachen and go to Mambo No. 5 or Macarena wants to dance on cheap speakers then lets go. In all other cases I wouldn't go here. But the sofa is comfortable.

Café Madrid completely convinced me! The food was delicious, the drinks were perfectly mixed and refreshing. The atmosphere is really cool – a great place to relax and enjoy your time. Absolutely recommended, I would love to come back!

Hello. I asked nicely by email whether we could make a reservation from 6 p.m. on New Year's Eve (I only saw late that they don't open until 9 p.m.). Then the email came back, and I quote “Whoa AS in email 1 as a reminder: We don't open until 9 p.m. - so NO!” And that from the managing director himself. These people are very cheeky and the minimum order value for the day is €150. Better not go there.

We were there with the company for the Christmas party on December 20th. At first everything was okay, there weren't too many people there, but then the shop filled up quite quickly and while we were putting in our food orders, to our dismay, things then went very slowly. The food took forever and the portion was just not enough for me I wanted to order something that was no longer possible, okay then just have a coffee, the coffee machine is already out, said the waiter! From then on I had almost no reason to stay anymore, Kurtz and just about the shop was overwhelmed because there were too many people there. The service suffered a lot as a result, which is normal. I don't want to have to spend another Christmas party like that. I left there still hungry and annoyed

We were here at the weekend and it was great. The food was delicious, the cocktails were exceptionally good. And the service was great, thanks again for that. When we are back in Aachen, a visit to Café Madrid is a must.

The biggest deduction there is You have handed in a more expensive jacket and are given a number and want to pick up the jacket Jacket not present and you are accused of finding the note on the floor and it was not from the cloakroom. Advertisement is out

Great atmosphere. Good service and food was good.

So I was with a friend because she ordered a steak with fried potatoes. The steak was tender but didn't taste like anything, no spices, no sauce, just roasted onions with champions and that cost 25 euros. There's no way we're going there again

Everyone had recommended this place to me above all. Once it was a Latin party but on this occasion the party was electronic. I tried to enter with a Venezuelan friend and they told us that it was a private party. When I stayed outside I realized that it was not private. I don't understand why they have to give us a hard time by saying things like that. It was simply clear that they didn't want to let us in because of my friend's skin color, saying it was a private thing.

The service was very nice, of the tapas the only thing that tasted good was the fried calamari.

We were there at 9:00 p.m. We wanted to order something to snack on and the waiter said the kitchen would be closed at 9:30 p.m. Even though the Internet says the end is 10 p.m. Very disappointing…

Cafe Madrid has a good ambience. Unfortunately we had to wait 2 hours for the food. After the 3rd COMPLAINT, I was told: it would take a little longer because we ordered appetizers. We were in the café at 7:30 p.m....food came at 9:30 p.m....you don't feel like eating anymore...it didn't taste good either. The only thing that was tasty was the chorizo ​​in red wine sauce. I won't visit this cafe again.

I have been coming to Madrid for years to go out, last week for the very first time to eat. we ordered a Tapas plate for 35 Euro. Everything on this bowl was cold, chewy and inedible. You couldn't get any bite from the calamari at all, the sardines could have been sword-fighted, the chicken was super tough and the dates were charred. The worst dining experience ever. We reported this to the waiter (who was clearly embarrassed), he came back with our plate, which had been warmed up. the response was "my manager said, that's because it has gotten cold". We were not compensated, no excuses at all and had to pay the full price... this was the first and last time we ate there!!

The so-called tapas were simply ready-made heated snacks. The chicken snacks were still cold on the inside and hard on the outside. The Spanish meatballs were tasteless. The fact that we were the only guests on a Thursday evening should have already made us suspect that it would not work out.

Cool drinks, very nice ambience, super nice service outside until the middle of the night, then further inside, music and dancing. A great.

As always, the food is quite good (except the patatas bravas were inedible and not really patatas bravas but thin fried potatoes with disgusting tomato sauce). However, you are only forced to pay with a card if you spend more than €15, even though this is not legal and you have already been unnecessarily charged for over €30 before. Very bad service, very very disappointing!

Had dinner there. Excellent prices, large portions, friendly waiter. A rare find in these times!

Happy hour with 2 for 1 is worth it. The service team is always nice and usually has very good recommendations... Overall, it's always worth a visit.

Café Madrid used to have a name where you could go and feel comfortable. Now it's no longer like that. Food was very bad. Service was very nice but not attentive. Drinks would be brought very late or people wouldn't be asked if you wanted anything else.

We actually wanted to eat here, but we were received unfriendly and we just had the menu and they immediately asked us 3 times in a row if we already knew, while we actually just had the map and it was clear that we were still looking at the menu. . It was simply extremely rude and pushy. Equally important to mention is that it was not busy at all, less than 10% of the tables were filled so they had no reason to be pushy. So we drank and paid for our drinks and looked for another restaurant! Very bad and unpleasant experience.

Pizza was the worst I've ever eaten, dough was even raw… mojito was good! But it also took a long time to get served even though the store wasn't full.

Unfortunately we waited a very long time (approx. 1.5 hours) for our food. But the schnitzel was freshly prepared and super tasty. However, the waiting time is still not possible!

Spontaneously spent the evening there after a long time. The music in the background is pleasant. Our waitress was very attentive and super friendly. The nice waiter was able to convince us that the cocktails were really good. The MIXTURE is right 😀. Because of the positive experience that evening, we came back here next weekend. Recommended!!!

We were there with a group of friends last weekend celebrating a birthday, around 14 people, and I know a big table is always a bit stressing (all the rest of the tables were empty, tho) drinks were good and fair prices, food was not the best, but not bad (I had a burger) a friend of mine had Tapas to share, and she said was not tasty at all. Anyway, never in Aachen I had such a bad service, that moment when the waitress just make you feel you never want comeback to that restaurant, she was so unfriendly, so unkind and clearly a lack of preference for big tables, terrible service from her, at least the people in the bar were a bit more friendly.

One of the worst restaurant visits of our lives. Our reservation was for 7:30pm but the food didn't arrive until 10pm along with the DJ :/ After ordering three rounds of drinks and the food still wasn't there, we complained. The overwhelmed waitress just said, "You didn't wait an hour for the food," which wasn't true. One waitress for more than 15 tables is simply not enough!!! The food wasn't tasty at all, the schnitzels weren't all the same size and the pasta wasn't good at all! The whole night was messed up. NEVER AGAIN CAFE MADRID!!!" Attached are pictures where you can see the time! Maybe things wouldn't have been too bad if the waitress had been nicer.

So the store used to be good. Now no longer acceptable. Bad management. Employees not paid. Have to beg for their money. Food at best edible

The food was not good at all burnt patty on the burger and also in the bolognese the minced meat was burnt. The whole store seemed kind of dirty. The floor was sticky, the chairs were dirty and the faux leather on the chairs was cracked and broken.

The place itself is really nice, but the service is very poor. The woman who served us had a pretty annoyed face from the start and spoke as if we were children. The food was ok, a bit too salty but you could eat it.

1,5 Std. auf unser Essen gewartet. Bei einem Gericht für über 26 Euro könnte man einen kleinen Beilagensalat erwarten.

Lecker war‘s! Als Beilage zum frischen Schnitzel, Kartoffelgratin, sehr zu empfehlen. 😋 Gemütliche Atmosphäre mit aufmerksamen Service 👍

Wir waren da anlässlich einer Feier und hatten ein Buffet. Es war sehr, sehr lecker und reichlich, das Personal sehr freundlich und das Ambiente ist eh toll. Sicher auch im "normalen" Rahmen eine gute Wahl!

Leider sehr schlechte Erfahrung. Wir haben ein Bier und einen Cocktail bestellt, nach 40 Minuten kam nur den Cocktail ,aber das Bier nie gekommen. Die Kellnerin war Super unfreundlich. Alle Tische die nach uns gekommen sind wurden bedient . Mehrfach habe ich an der Bar beschied gesagt ,aber kam immer ja bestimmt kommt noch. Nie wieder

Langweilig ohne Ende. DJ war nicht gut, dementsprechend die Musik. Nur Frauen als Besucher.

Naja einfach Kult für mich seit 2012. Auch jetzt mit Ü30 wird es hier nicht langweilig.

Wir möchten uns für die Organisation Bewirtung zu unserer Kinderkommunion Bedanken. Unser Sohn sowie die Gäste waren von der Feier und den dortigen Überraschungen absolut begeistert. Die Planung wie die Durchführung war einfach fantastisch es gab so viele Dinge, die diesen Tag wirklich unvergesslich gemacht haben. Zunächst einmal waren wir beeindruckt von der Privatsphäre, die uns geboten wurde. Wir hatten unseren eigenen Raum, in dem wir unsere Feier in Ruhe genießen konnten, ohne von anderen Gästen gestört zu werden. Das war besonders wichtig, da es viele Kinder gab und wir uns keine Sorgen machen mussten, dass sie andere Gäste stören würden. Die Organisation der Feier war wirklich erstklassig. Es gab viele Aktivitäten für die Kinder, darunter eine Hüpfburg, die ihnen stundenlangen Spaß und Unterhaltung bot. Das Essen war einfach großartig. Jeder Gang war frisch zubereitet, wunderschön präsentiert und unglaublich lecker. Es gab etwas für jeden Geschmack, einschließlich vegetarischer Optionen. Die kleinen wurden ebenfalls bedacht es gab Snacks welche die kleinen zum Strahlen brachte. Die Torte war ebenfalls genau wie wir sie abgesprochen hatten. Was uns jedoch am meisten beeindruckt hat, war die unglaublich kinderfreundliche Atmosphäre. Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich, insbesondere gegenüber den Kindern. Sie nahmen sich viel Zeit, um sicherzustellen, dass die Kinder während des gesamten Tages unterhalten wurden. Wen man bedenkt welche Art Party hier sonst gefeiert werden….. Alles in allem war es ein Sehr gelungener Tag und wir würden die Location jedem auch für diese Art der Familienfeier empfehlen, wer nach einem kinderfreundlichen und qualitativ hochwertigen Restaurant sucht ist hier genau richtig. Die Kombination aus Privatsphäre, toller Organisation, Kinderfreundlichkeit, Hüpfburg und erstklassigem Essen machte es zu einem perfekten Tag für alle Gäste. Vielen Tag an das Team des Cafe Madrid sowie ein Großes Dankeschön an Christoph Görres

Same song all the time.. to sad. Drinks before where good.. to bad (the time before was nice)

Recht teuer, Personal unfreundlich. Wenn man kein Geld auf der Toilette für die Reinigungskraft gibt wird man angepöbelt. ( geb ich gerne wenn es sauber ist) Nie wieder!

Wir hatten während Corona Zeiten da mal vormittags nen Erste Hilfe Kurs. Als Seminarraum war es echt super (wir waren ungefähr mit 15 Leuten da).

Cocktails ganz OK aber die Pizza wirkt definitiv wie eine "3 x in einer Packung" Margarita vom Aldi mit ein paar billigen Toppings ... Eine absolute Frechheit! Kommen nie wieder. * Wirklich erstaunlich, dass der Inhaber Kritik nicht akzeptieren kann und auf persönliche Ebene die Kunden in ihrer Würde verletzten was letztendlich ein Armutszeugnis des eigenen "Etablissements" darstellt. Denken Sie ernsthaft, dass Ihre heruntergekommene "Kneipe aus der Billigstraße" ein "feines Lokal" darstellt? Überdenken Sie lieber den Umgang mit Kunden und ihre fürchterliche Speisekarte.

Eingang nicht ebenerdig erreichbar. Abends werden ab bestimmter Uhrzeit die Tische im Bistro auf die Seite gestellt. Die Herren sind nicht sehr freundlich, werden aber auch schon mal vom Publikum gerne übersehen und nicht ernst genommen. DJ legt Musik auf, Tanzflächen vergrößert sich. WC's nicht ebenerdig erreichbar. Toilettendamen erwarten 1 € Gebühr für Nutzung einer nicht intakten Toilette. DAMENTOILETTE rechts mit beschädigten Toilettensitz und defekter Spülung. Sagt alles...

Freundliches Personal, nettes Ambiente

Ich stelle mir gerade vor, wenn der Laden richtig voll ist. Was ich dem Besitzer auch von Herzen gönne. Denn wir waren innerhalb der Woche mit 5 Leuten dort und fanden es hier allesamt super. Viel war nicht los, wir haben nur etwas getrunken. Das Café ist recht groß und sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Bedienung war freundlich, flott und aufmerksam. Was willst du mehr.

Das Ambiente hat sich seit 20 Jahren nicht geändert allerdings das Essen (sehr Mittelmäßig). Der Service war schlecht demnach ist das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis mittelmäßig. Gibt viele schöne andere Lokale.

Locale posto nel centro della movida di Aquisgrana. Personale giovanile cortese e disponibile e veloci nel consegnare gli ordini. Siamo stati in questo locale nel dopocena e la serata è stata accompagnata da un dj mixando bellissima musica con la possibilità di ballare. I cocktail bevuti erano molto buoni. Buono il rapporto qualità prezzo. Buona la pulizia dei locali e soprattutto dei wc.

Gepflegtes Restaurant mit nettem Ambiente, freundlicher Bedienung und gutem Essen. Mir persönlich war die Beleuchtung etwas zu rotlastig. Keine Zahlung mit Kreditkarte möglich!

Netter Service ist Glückssache (heute war unser Kellner sehr gut) und die Getränke, insbesondere die Cocktails, sind, der Qualität und Menge entsprechend, zu teuer. Wir hatten eine Pizza, die nur vor Käse und Fett triefte - das war 3x nix. Trotzdem 3 Sterne für Musik, Atmosphäre und unseren heutiger Kellner.

Nette Bedienung, aber Heizstrahler werden auf Anfrage nicht angemacht, weil es angeblich noch nicht kalt genug sei.. Zudem die Aussenterrasse an einem Samstag schon um 23 Uhr zu schließen - für mich Unverständlich

Een zaak die is blijven hangen in de jaren 90. Proberen geld uit je zak te kloppen als je wil pinnen, want dat kan zogenaamd alleen vanaf 15 euro. Dit verzinnen ze na afloop. Erg onvriendelijk personeel. Wegblijven!

Der halb schwarzer type war nicht freundlich Sehr slecht ,und vies!

Es ist wahrscheinlich ein ganz netter Ort. Aber wir wurden nicht reingelassen, weil der Türsteher "uns nicht kennt". Wäre echt schade, wenn der eigentliche Grund ein anderer wäre, da ich und mein Kumpel südasiatische Wurzeln haben. Dann wollten wir den Namen des Türstehers wissen, woraufhin er uns wegschob.

Eine ganz klare Empfehlung! Man fühlt sich außerordentlich willkommen, der Service ist rundum erstklassig. Wir saßen auf der gut beheizten Terrasse: endlich mal Heizstrahler, die halten, was sie versprechen! Das Essen war dann die Krönung unseres Besuchs. Das Steak auf den Punkt gebraten, das Schnitzel ein Traum!! Zum Nachtisch ein Schokosoufflé, von dem wir am liebsten noch ein zweites bestellt hätten... Ich kann dieses Restaurant nur weiterempfehlen!

Definitiv das beste Schnitzel der Stadt! ...die Soße ist auch der Hit, sowie die Pommes auch. Man bekommt hier sogar eine Cola in einer richtigen Glasflasche und nicht so ein Zeug wo die Kohlensäure vor Tagen schon weg ist. Rundum von der Lokalität übers Essen und Personal sehr empfehlenswert 👍
