Insanely nice restaurant with super nice employees. You also sit really nicely. The portions are huge and for a very fair price. Unfortunately, the taste was more okay than really good. Overall, I can definitely recommend the visit and will come back myself.

My first place when I feel like vegan gnocchi. My wishes are taken into account every time and for the lunch menu you get a really large main meal and a piece of cake/quiche at a very reasonable price. :)

Always a pleasure, it's just great there, the selection of drinks and food! There used to be a Sunday brunch, for which reservations had to be made by phone from 8 a.m. :-). The best thing is the always friendly service!

A bit hidden, but we still found this great place. Super nice service, super delicious food and very pleasant to sit outside. One point is deducted from the ambience for the sanitary facilities, which were not nice. But that shouldn't spoil the overall impression.

Either too expensive or ripped off: Paid €23 for 2 cappuccinos and 2 pieces of cake. Unfortunately he didn't react straight away and only realized later that this wasn't possible.

My visit today made me a little suspicious, we ordered 2 pastries and 2 hot drinks. The cappuccino didn't have much to do with a cappuccino... the peppermint tea was very solid with fresh peppermint, which cost a total of 7.60. The pieces cost 1.50 (cookie) and 3.10 (nut corner) each, we were charged a total of €16 (with a tip I had paid €17) for them, I only noticed the mistake when I was leaving and I didn't feel like it to turn around again because we had already waited a long time to even pay and we were in a hurry. Paying looked like this, the lady added up in her head what we had eaten and charged me in cash without an invoice, so it's no wonder that mistakes like this happen. I would ask you to use your cash register systems and hand out invoices, this is required by every other business.

Visit on a Sunday afternoon. I wanted to order coffee and cake at the counter. I was told that the cake had to be ordered inside and then the coffee at the table. We then went outside with the cake. The waiter, unfortunately extremely overwhelmed with the situation, very negative and annoyed, said that we would have to wait to order. After almost 30 minutes without this being possible, I went in to pay for the cake. It was then explained to me that I should have ordered the coffee at the counter. It is completely understandable that with two employees and a full house it can take a lot longer. But then please say that right away, then you can adjust to it.

Great location to eat, also great with lots of friends!

A nice place to seat outside and grab a coffee, however cakes here are a complete disaster: fatty cream, no flavor at all. Can’t recommend.

Large selection of cakes and cakes, including many vegan and sugar-free versions, all very delicious. The food is also very tasty with changing daily specials, also vegan or vegetarian. Reservations are recommended as it can get quite crowded at peak times.

Very nice café, the boss (?) is a warm and attentive person. Even for those with celiac disease there is a wide selection of sweet pastries and cakes. I'll be back 🪷

You are awesome! Cake, lunch, service - everything was great! But we miss your brunch so much. Are you still looking for a breakfast buffet in Munich that is as good as yours? But in vain - no one can get to it. So overall everything was great, but we're not giving up hope that your breakfast buffet will come back to life!

The service was very friendly so I only drank coffee the first time and had the Mittagessen +kuchen set brunch the second time. Highly recommended. The owner was very friendly. First time had coffee enjoyed the atmosphere cozy and welcoming. Made a phone call reservation and sat ourselves outside. The owners/employees are very friendly which makes the food tasty. So many varieties of kuchen hehe. Had mouse chocolate / chocolate cheese cake apfel kuchen and erbeere kuchen. Recommended chocolate cheese kuchen. Hehe One of the best experience in Munich.

The food was super tasty, I've rarely eaten such well-cooked and seasoned dishes. And a cake too, so the menu is really affordable! We always enjoy coming back :)

The food and cake were very tasty and they really have a large selection of vegan dishes. Our waiter was Konstantin, who is very accommodating and does a great job! The gentleman behind the counter with the cakes was also very friendly and was available to answer any questions about the cakes. It's definitely worth stopping by.

Only visited to buy cakes to take away. A very busy little vegetarian place... the Cafe part was fully booked and people came all the time. The cakes were very enjoyable and tasty.

The only negative thing about Cafe Ignaz is that it is in Munich and not Vienna 😊. Such a comprehensive vegetarian/vegan menu, so varied, is truly a rarity. And the price-performance ratio is also very good. Dog-friendly too - the spirit of love for animals hovers above everything. This is good for the soul!😍

For any vegetarian & vegan food lovers this is the place to be! Inside its fairly small and cosy. Nothing fancy.

Es empfiehlt sich telefonisch vorher zu reservieren. Das Menue mit Kuchen nach freier Wahl als Nachtisch am Samstag Mittag war sehr preiswürdig mit 13,90 Euro ohne Getränk. Sehr zu empfehlen für Vegetarier. Personal super freundlich und aufmerksam. Kuchentheke sehr viel Auswahl, auch für Veganer. Die Kohlroladen mit Kartoffelstampf mit brauner Soße war der Hit. Das Kuchenstück war nicht nur lecker, sondern auch gigantisch gross.

War zum ersten Mal dort und bin total begeistert vom äußerst freundlichen Service und dem sehr leckeren Essen 👍 einfach und so schmackhaft. Als krönender süßer Abschluss die gigantische Auswahl an Kuchen und Torten, traumhaft! Man kann sich eigentlich gar nicht entscheiden .... 🤗

Himmlisch gutes Essen, sehr gemütliches Ambiente, toller Service und ein Top Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Ein absoluter Geheimtipp ! Ich bin öfter Gast und kann‘s nur weiterempfehlen! 13,50 € für ein Hauptgericht plus Kuchen (wahlweise zum Mitnehmen) das ist in München eine absolute Seltenheit. Die Portionen sind groß und alles liebevoll angerichtet. Man merkt das hier mit viel Herzblut und Engagement gearbeitet wird. Für Veganer, Veggi‘s und Allergiker super! Große Auswahl an veganen und vegetarischen Gerichten sowie zahlreiche Kuchen auch in vegan, glutenfrei oder zuckerfrei. Einfach für jeden was dabei😊

Came here for the first time during lunch hour on a weekday. The server was very friendly even though the whole service was very slow. I don’t recommend the vegan pumpkin spinach risotto, which was made of jasmine rice instead of short grain rice. It was very bland and watery. My friend who ordered the same kept adding salt and pepper to his dish. That said, the apple, oat yogurt tart (buckwheat crust) was to die for. I’d return for just the tart and cake.

Ein historisches Juwel unter den veganen Cafés! Seit 30 Jahren gibt es dieses Café und eine lange Tradition der veganen Küche ❤ Die Auswahl an Kuchen und Torten ist einfach fantastisch. Hier findet man die besten süßen Versuchungen, die man sich vorstellen kann. Von saftigen Schokoladenkuchen bis hin zu fruchtigen Torten ist für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei.

War seit Jahren das erste mal wieder hier und schwer begeistert. Ein wahres Paradies für Veganer + Vegetarier und das Mittagsmenü ist super ! Endlich ein Restaurant mit rustikaler veganer Auswahl wo nicht alles nur aus Quinoa, Roter Beete und Co. besteht :) Werde auf jeden Fall öfter kommen

Nettes vegetarisch/veganes Restaurant. Guter Service, Essen war auch okay. Unter der veggie-Lasagne habe ich mir etwas anderes vorgestellt (es war glaube ich eine Art Polenta statt Pastaplatten) und es wäre deshalb schön gewesen, eine genauere Beschreibung in der Karte zu haben, wenn es so von „normaler“ Lasagne abweicht, es war aber deshalb geschmacklich nicht schlecht. Meine Begleitung hatte Gnocchi und war damit sehr zufrieden. Der vegane Erdbeerkuchen war erfrischend, weil die Beeren und die Creme gut waren, der Kuchenboden war nicht ganz mein Fall. Das Kartendesign könnte ein Update vertragen. Die Auswahl ist insgesamt groß. Die Preise fand ich in Ordnung.

Nettes kleines vegetarisches Café mit einer großen Auswahl an superleckeren Kuchen und sonstigem Gebäck (z. B. Nussecken, Apfelstrudel, liebevoll verzierte Plätzchen). Ein Teil des Angebots ist auch vegan bzw. vegan und zuckerfrei. Darüber hinaus gibt es noch vegetarische/vegane warme Gerichte. Die Bedienung ist auch immer sehr freundlich und nimmt sich auch bei einer Warteschlange vor der Tür Zeit, um alle Fragen zu beantworten.

I used to come here pretty often as I like to support small local veg restaurants and this one was close to my place. Food is average, many times so salty or spicy that had to be sent back. However still ok. The worse is the service. Never seen such an unfriendly service anywhere, it made every single meal an awful experience depending on the mood of the waiter. From being ignored to “shut up” to being pushed. No-go.

ganz tolle (vegane!) Kuchen- und Tortenauswahl. Auch herzhafte Varianten. Nette Bedienung! Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. So guten Kuchen hatten wir lange nicht.

Freundliche Kellner und leckeres vegetarisches Essen!

Essen war mittelmäßig. Der Kuchenboden war etwas zu weich. Die Bedienung im Außenbereich war freundlich, jedoch fand ich den Mann hinter der Kuchentheke sehr missmutig und uninteressiert an der Kundschaft. Er hatte keine Lust behilflich zu sein. Schade! Innenräume waren nach meinem Empfinden heruntergekommen, sehr eng und etwas verwahrlost.
