Cafe Extrablatt Schwerte in Schwerte

For about a year, maybe even longer, a rat has been living in the Extrablatt. The boss and employees know about it, but no one does anything. Please be careful!

Very friendly staff, we always enjoy going there. The vegan pea soup in the winter was sooo good, hopefully they'll have it again soon.🥰

In any case, a very extensive food and drink menu. Very nice atmosphere.

We had breakfast/buffet with 14 people. We were immediately greeted warmly by the waitress Nadja and felt at ease from the very first moment. She always checked to see if anyone wanted any more drinks, and our table was always cleared. The buffet was extensive and extremely delicious. Many thanks to Nadja for the fantastic and friendly service. Employees like her should be treated with respect these days.

Staff sometimes do not know what ingredients are in the food

We regularly visit Café Extrablatt in Schwerte – especially for the delicious veggie options, the small children's play area, and the warm atmosphere. The staff is always friendly and attentive. Last Saturday, we were served by Amin, who deeply impressed us with his warm, honest, and attentive manner. So much warmth, genuine interest, and professional service – that's truly special! A big compliment to the entire team – but today, our special thanks and greetings go to Amin. We'll definitely be back soon. Teresa

Extrablatt is always top-notch, just like here in Hamm.

I wanted to watch a football game with friends, the TV was on, but with no sound. The staff reacted unfriendly to our request to turn on the sound. They obviously wanted to get rid of us, so glasses that had not yet been emptied were cleared away. Apparently foreign guests are not welcome.

Breakfast absolutely not recommended! Scrambled eggs etc mostly cold. Plates and cutlery not clean. Waiters take forever to take the order. The next table is calmly cleared until the order is taken.

Cozy atmosphere, at least indoors. The food is good.

An enrichment for swords that we like to visit.

If I could give 10 stars I would. I recently went to Extrablatt to eat swords with our adopted son. Price-performance fits very well here. The food was fresh and the staff was super friendly. We'd love to come back there. LG

Used the toilet a couple of times, the last time I was thrown out without doing anything, I didn't even go into the toilet, I was threatened with the police in a very very very rude manner and I was banned from the house without doing anything. I would never eat there again or anything else disrespectful.

Great location, but a very loud background noise

The Extrablatt is beautifully located in the heart of Schwerte. Lovely ambiance, delicious food, and friendly staff. Great outdoor seating, even in bad or cold weather, thanks to heaters and blankets. We'd be happy to return anytime.

A new restaurant with minor drawbacks in the food. Café Extrablatt is located in the heart of Schwerte Westhofen's shopping mall, right next to C&A. The layout and location offer everything you could wish for; even on cold days, it's possible to sit outside, as there are plenty of heaters installed throughout the outdoor area. The food is varied and reasonably priced, but the waffles aren't quite right in terms of cream portions or taste, which unfortunately deducts one point.

Constant eavesdropping on guests during their day visit should ideally be prohibited.

Always good. We love the pizza rolls. Unfortunately, they're getting smaller and smaller, so we're deducting one star. They used to be bigger.

The service here is always friendly. The apple pie and waffles are great.

It's always a great place to stop by spontaneously and enjoy a hot Aperol or a coffee outside. A very pleasant atmosphere, both inside and out. The breakfast is also highly recommended.

Guys, I've never been welcomed as warmly as when I first visited on June 22, 2022. I was welcomed with open arms. Simply great staff. Really delicious food. I found my regular Extrablatt. I ate 22 of them, and now it's over. I love you. Thank you so much. I recommend this café to everyone who visits here. Deserved 5 stars.

As always at Extrablatt, very good selection of food, everything fresh, very full, some tables placed close together. But it was still very good.

Overall, I'm not dissatisfied with my visit here, but I do think there is some room for improvement. I sat in the outside area. The benches on the street side are at an awkward height compared to the height of the table, so it's not really comfortable to sit on. A total of 7 different cards on a small bistro table without a holder is too many. This does not include the depositors of the “newspaper”. The service was okay in terms of time, the waitress was friendly. Unfortunately, outside of taking the order or when called, she didn't look after me or other guests, asked if I wanted to order anything else, didn't look for empty drinks, didn't ask if everything was okay. Exactly what would have made for better service. The occupancy was manageable on a Tuesday lunchtime, so that couldn't be justified. The waitress was responsible for the outside area and had a second employee who brought the food. For dinner I ordered a “crust” schnitzel. This was with me promptly and freshly made. The plate has a rather awkward shape, so that the food is attractively presented, but you have to be very careful not to knock anything else off the plate while eating. The schnitzel could have drained for a moment longer, but the plate was quite greasy. The taste was very good and the portion size was fair for around 14 euros. For me there was no reason to give a tip.

This extra sheet scores points across the board: the staff is so friendly and attentive, it is clean, you are served quickly even when it is full and if you are there for the breakfast buffet, all the food is quickly replenished and the buffet looks consistently inviting and tidy. Please don't let up and keep it up! The children also feel very comfortable here and are warmly welcomed. Organization seems to be very important here. Top! The ambience always invites you to linger. (This Extrablatt is no comparison to other Extrablatt branches, where unfortunately there is often total chaos and the buffet is often completely emptied, all the food is scattered all over the place, the tables are not cleared and the toilets are absolutely dirty.. .)

This cafe is like any other extra paper. Breakfast buffet is varied and freshly prepared. Staff is friendly and customer oriented. The situation isn't great now because of the traffic, but when you're sitting in it you won't notice it. I like being there and I always enjoy my breakfast there.

Today I spontaneously went to the breakfast buffet at Extrablatt in Schwerte with my mother. We are really super disappointed. We were there at 11:50. The buffet was extremely empty and was not refilled except for some fruit, even though the buffet runs until 1 p.m. Waffle dough, porridge, vanilla sauce for the jelly pudding were completely empty. Light chocolate mousse was also completely empty and there was still a small spoonful of dark mousse. Paying the full price for 16 euros is really outrageous. The two stars are only for the coffee, because it is really very good.

Where should I start and stop. I've been to the Extrablatt in many cities, but yours stands out particularly positively. It is always clean and tidy. The employees are super quick and notice that you are there. Orders come quickly and correctly. Special words to Amin: Amin, you are just so wonderful, your positive nature and your good mood made me so incredibly excited today. Your good mood infected me, even though I didn't really feel like laughing today. You can really tell that you love this job and are completely absorbed in it. Stay the way you are and keep your style!!!🤍

We tried the burgers and were disappointed. Really not very good. In Schwerte there is e.g. B. Much better in the restaurant. Or in Dortmund at food Brothers. Ambience is nice.

Relaxed atmosphere inside and outside. Service relaxed and chilled. Barrier-free toilet available at ground level. Otherwise in the basement, as usual from the extra sheet. But super super clean and really chic! 👌🏼 Gladly again. There is no free parking space. Typically swords.

Everything is fine, but the extra sheet doesn't go beyond that in any area. The service takes a long time, but is always friendly. The food is okay, the same goes for the drinks. Only the breakfast stands out positively. But burgers and cocktails, for example, are rather mediocre.

It's a shame that the service doesn't clear the tables when you have brunch there. And the terrace is nice, but you are filled with smoke from the many smokers. The food was great, but next time it would be better to sit inside without the smoke.

I wanted to eat something in Schwerte after a business meeting with my business partners. Challenge #1: on a Monday, Challenge #2: at 10 p.m.... Actually, the extra sheet was honestly just an emergency solution due to a lack of alternatives. But it was a very nice evening... The service was friendly and very attentive, our burgers were really tasty and overall the evening was very good value for money. There was no volume control that we feared, so we were able to talk easily about business topics. But maybe that was simply because it wasn't that crowded on a mob day evening. We all really enjoyed it and it was definitely something different for a business meeting.

Catastrophe!!! I traveled 40 km with my guest and just wanted to have a coffee. Opening hours are until midnight And you can't even get coffee at 10:30 p.m. The statement from them is that it is no longer worth it for our boss to do another round. "Very nice customer service".

I really like the atmosphere. Suitable for all ages. Unfortunately, some guests behave badly. You notice this at the breakfast buffet. But the employees can't help it. Price/performance is always very good here! You always feel very comfortable.

Delicious food and friendly service

Served really quickly in a seminar lunch break that was short on time. The chili burger was delicious. The fries were lukewarm and uncomfortable to eat in these baskets (which unfortunately you can get in many places). Ketchup and mayonnaise are not both included. And overall the dips are far too limited for the amount of fries. When the waitress asked if everything was good, we just nodded instead of complaining about the cool fries (as is sometimes the case), but then mentioned it when paying. We were assured that we would have received hot money straight away... but not everyone wants to complain... The location is noisy, hectic, rather uncomfortable. The prices are ok. All in all, you can take care of yourself there, but I wouldn't go there again just to have fun.

Food is always great. No matter what. Coffee etc. from the machines is simply too strong for us. So leave it out. The only point of criticism at the moment is the one or other operation. At first you almost feel compelled to finally order. After that you tend to be overlooked. Reordering is often only possible upon request and then one or two women get annoyed because you asked. A matter of taste: many a lady's nail jewelry. Of course it is up to each individual. But for me, nails with stones and pearls, as well as a certain length where typing and gripping become difficult, do not belong in the catering industry. Apart from the hygiene point of view.

The tastiest waffles far and wide are in Schwerte! Baked golden brown, crispy on the edges and yet fluffy in the middle. They're topped with fresh berries and a generous helping of whipped cream, while a hint of cinnamon and maple syrup completes the taste experience! 🤤🤤 The apple waffles are also delicious, but unfortunately there were fewer apple pieces in the dough last time than usual.. 🤔 The waitress serves them with a beaming smile and an extra dose of love. It's rare to experience such excellent service these days 😍👌

Delicious food, friendly service

We went for the breakfast buffet on a Saturday. There is no selection of gluten-free rolls/breads here and I had to bring my own things and there is no toaster or something similar to warm them up. Information/knowledge about the ingredients of the convenience products was not really available. The service was a disaster - the dishes piled up, drinks arrived extremely late or not at all. Sorry guys, there's a better way!

Hello, the cafe is great so far, it was really great for breakfast there today until I got my Mett and had an unpleasant moment where I told the waitress, the service was just bad, you were ignored and there were no more drinks So after half an hour I just paid and left. I ate an apple pie with a very tasty chocolate on top. I can only recommend.
