I go there once a month for a regular meeting. It's always a nice break. The service from Jenny is actually great, but due to the size of the club there is a lack of service staff, which is sometimes noticeable. The food is good across the board, but it's almost always worth taking a look at the additional menu.

We were at the end of a hike in the club. The atmosphere is very rustic - you immediately feel at home. The TVs with some kind of music channel are annoying - they are hanging around practically everywhere. Service was smart and relaxed - drinks arrived quickly. Food took longer. We had the pork fillet and schnitzel special. The fillet came sliced ​​- it wasn't actually that obvious - otherwise my partner would have chosen a different side dish. But it was good! I had red/white fries with my schnitzel. I thought I would get a small bag of each as usual or in a bowl. Unfortunately, a huge amount of mayo and ketchup was dumped directly on it. Fries are all soggy - actually a no go for a decent restaurant. We ordered the mixed salad with a mustard/honey dressing - the dressing was very fatty - came from a bucket - based on mayo. The food was standard - not bad, but still a lot of room for improvement. A nice evening - despite everything ❤

I am extremely disappointed with the club. I'm there every weekend and just because my troop was there with a "dark-skinned" guy we weren't allowed in. We tested it with 2 troops and we with the “dark-skinned” one couldn’t get in. The fact that racism is tolerated in Germany is sad. I'm just disappointed and won't be visiting the pub again.

Very timely pub. Food was really tasty. Actually more restaurant quality than pub. Service was really friendly and not overwhelmed even with special orders. We were asked three times during dinner if everything was OK or if we would like anything else. So we'll definitely go there more often now.

Waited far too long for food. Restaurant has a cozy atmosphere. We were there with 10 adults and a smaller child. We ordered a table at 7 p.m. and unfortunately the food didn't arrive until 9:20 p.m., but at some point our patience runs out. An apology is no longer enough. A bit of bread beforehand might have improved our mood. Unfortunately it wasn't a nice evening for us

Yesterday we had a catastrophe and celebrated our birthday there, which we couldn't call celebrating. We had a table for 5 people at 7 p.m. When we ordered, the waiter came straight away with a menu and asked for drinks. When he brought the drinks, we immediately ordered the food. It wasn't small for 5 people. .After 1 hour 50 minutes. We asked when the food would come. The people who came after us. Already had their food and left. 5 minutes to 2 hours. We got a burger. But unfortunately two of my guests had already left because they still had an appointment. They had waited until then. 20 minutes after they left the food arrived. We have never experienced anything like this before, coming from Dortmund, the restaurant was recommended to us. Then it was a bust. 2 meals were packed up to take away because they hadn't had anything after 2 hours. They weren't hungry anymore, they packed them up and were allowed to pay 180 euros. We've never experienced anything so outrageous and we didn't get any soup at all With a thick neck and two bags of food, we drove home at 9:40 p.m. without eating. The waiter couldn't do anything about it.

After 1 hour 50 minutes the first meal came. 30 minutes later the rest. Friends left and didn't want to wait any longer. We then had the food packed for you. Unfortunately it was ordered. Unfortunately, not everything we ordered came. We didn't care after the waiting time. We had the coffee on, just ate a little bit and then we left. The food we had was delicious. But after a long wait you will definitely find something that doesn't taste good or is too cold.

Had dinner there yesterday with several people. It was really great. Atmosphere very nice and the staff also very nice. We had a delicious meal and I took one of the daily specials home with me (cream herring fillet) That was also great. I can only recommend. We'd love to come back.

The Keule in Schwerte is an absolutely rustic experience gastronomy. It has been one of my favorite places for many decades. After dinner you can just sit and enjoy the evening with friends with good music. If you want a table in the front area, it would be important to book it in advance. There are also tables where you can dine there unannounced. The price-performance ratio is good. I would like to give the team a big compliment here. Thanks

Food is okay for a pub with a price-performance ratio, but you're out of luck if you don't have a reservation. On our last visit we were moved again even though the waiter had seated us there less than 30 minutes before. Only because other guests wanted to sit there. Our alternative seat at the counter was extremely uncomfortable to eat and the waiter no longer had us in sight. It's really a bit of a shame when "other/new guests" don't enjoy the same or similar status as possible regular guests. Very unfortunate.

Cozy atmosphere that invites you to linger. Pleasant, changing music. Seasonal offers (strawberry punch 😍) and the schnitzels are super delicious! In addition, the kitchen is open until late which is also a big plus.

Four of us came from Dortmund and hadn't made a reservation. Actually there wasn't a table available, so we wanted to go back sadly... We were at the corner of the street when we were called back, with a little patience and time a table would be available for us in the foreseeable future. It didn't take long before we were seated. The great waiter was Marc! Marc served us throughout the evening with a great overview and attentiveness, and we didn't have to wait long for drinks. The food was also very good, the portions were generous. We would definitely come back, but then we would like Marc as a service employee again🫶

Friendly restaurant with a rustic atmosphere. There is light and shadow when it comes to food: the fries are first class, but the dry and boring hamburger is not worth the money at all.

Haven't been there for a long time, but the place is still great! Food good, selection good, staff very friendly, attentive and quick. The fact that you can park for free in the associated parking lot is also a real plus point; guests are given an exit coin from the staff, who even ask for it without being asked. So the restaurant is a meeting place for younger and older people, the food is great for the price-performance ratio and the service is nice but takes far too many nonsensical routes so you have to wait far too long for food and drinks, often over an hour.

The place for night owls. Large groups can also be accommodated here. Table reservation is recommended. Food is ok, staff is nice. Acoustics loud and tiring. It's a bit difficult in large groups...

Very nice restaurant with long opening hours. The food was ok, but “Die Keule” doesn’t have the standards of a gourmet restaurant. The service was very friendly, but unfortunately a bit overwhelmed that evening, tables weren't cleared for a long time and orders took too long. Still, overall a recommendation.

Super Lokal, gute Auswahl an Gerichten und auch wenn es voll war haben wir nicht übermäßig lange warten müssen. Das Essen war lecker und die Portion sehr großzügig. Der Service (Marlon) war absolut das beste was ich seit langem erlebt habe. Total aufmerksam, schnell und freundlich.

Wunderbares Ambiente und leckerer Mampf. Wenn ich in der Nähe bin immer gerne dort. Weiter so.

Stylish, sehr lecker und das Beste sind die Öffnungszeiten der Küche. Wer spät Abends oder nachts noch was gutes Essen möchte und nicht auf McD zurückgreifen will, ist hier bestens aufgehoben.

Urig rustikales Lokal mit schönem Ambiente, gute Anfahrtsmöglichkeit! Das Lokal liegt in der Wilhelmstrasse, mitten in Schwerte! Empfehlung bzgl der Anfahrt am besten über Wandhofen geradeaus Richtung Schwerte ( Polizeiwache rechts auf der Seite in der Kurve) , dann noch etwa 50 Meter und links in die Wilhelmstrasse einfahren ! Nach ca 150 Metern ist das Lokal auf der linken Seite! Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam! Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist absolut in Ordnung und die Portionen sind reichlich! Sehr leckeres Essen und gute Getränkeauswahl! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Hier kann man sehr gut mit Freunden Essen gehen. Service geht schnell, wenn die Esskneipe nicht gerade packend voll ist, und das Essen ist preiswert und lecker.

Eben eine echte Kneipe, aber mit Niveau und Preisen, die auf dem Boden geblieben sind. Immer gut besucht, aber nie zu voll. Gehe ich gerne hin.

Wir waren am Samstag Abend den 16.9 mit 4 Personen vor Ort zum Essen und gemütlichen trinken, Wir hatten die zwei coolsten Bediener die man meiner Meinung nach haben kann. Marlon war einfach super freundlich, zügig bei der Arbeit und echt aufgeschlossen entspannt zu uns, Der zweite Bediener hieß glaube ich Mark (Mr. Kümmerling) war auch einfach nur eine echt coole Socke und wir können uns absolut über nichts beschweren! Das essen war super lecker und die Portionen waren schon von ordentlicher Größe, das ist aber natürlich nur mein empfinden, die Preise sind in der heutigen Zeit echt human für das was man bekommt an Service und Ambiente! Wir kommen gerne wieder mit Hunger und Durst 👍🏻

Chickenwings und Schnitzel, zwei meiner Lieblingsessen. Meine Frage an die Bedienung, selbst mariniert oder paniert? Die Antwort, beides TK- Ware. Mein Tipp: Finger weg!

Gutes Essen und Preise sind in Ordnung! Die Öffnungszeiten sind super und man bekommt auch noch nach 0 Uhr sein Bierchen.

Speisekarte aufgrund von Corona nur per Scan auf d. Handy möglich. Nur schlecht, wenn sich die Karte nicht direkt öffnen lässt (selbst die Gäste ein Tisch weiter hatten Probleme damit). Andere Restaurants bieten trotz der Coronalage eine normale Speisekarte an (mir ist dennoch klar, dass die Reinigung ein Zeitaufwand ist). Es dauerte lange, bis man uns nach der Essensbestellung gefragt hat (zu dem Zeitpunkt war das Getränk fast leer getrunken). Die Ofenkartoffel mit Putenbrust war okay, aber muss ich nicht nochmal bestellen. Leider gab es auch kein Salz & Pfeffer auf den Tischen oder alternativ in Tütchen oder in einer kleinen Schale. Habe Verständnis dafür, dass es in der schwierigen Zeit seit Corona mehr Arbeit ist und evtl. einige Dinge dadurch nicht zufriedenstellend sind.
