Super delicious food! Would recommend the homemade iced tea to everyone.

We had two classic burgers. Unfortunately they weren't fresh, they were warmed up and were so dry and tasteless that we couldn't eat more than two bites each. Absolute impudence and a waste of money!!!

I've had a drink at Cafe del Sol several times, but I've never eaten there until now. Drinks and service have always been A with stars. The place also has a wonderful ambience! Definitely worth a visit!

Unfortunately, the del Sol is no longer what it used to be. Ordered cheeseburger, got chilli cheese burger. Speci 0.5 ordered, tasteless plöre.. when complaining, dismissed with a ridiculous smile.. We used to be there every day. Visited the store again with friends after years and was extremely disappointed... It's a real shame...

The food was disastrous. The Pinza dough was dry as if the dough had been pre-baked the day before and heated just before serving. There was no question of a salami topping. The slices were so thin that you hardly noticed them. For 14 euros the portion was small + the quality was poor. The other dishes didn't look any better. There was no homemade dish. This is all frozen food that was only heated up or put in the fryer. Anyone who calls themselves a chef there should take a cooking course. The prices are far too high for the fact that they were all Konvinient products from Selgros or Metro. The service was friendly but she didn't take my criticism seriously. Please avoid the location when eating. You can go there for a drink.

Very bad. Were there for breakfast. The child hadn't eaten anything, just took a bite of mom's waffle and we had to pay the full amount for brunch. The shift manager was totally unreasonable and unfriendly. The waiter wanted to clear away plates even though we were told we still needed them. Completely not recommended. At the buffet the rolls were hard and some of the fruit was empty. The store is not recommended.

Class service. Delicious breakfast. Unfortunately, it's far too expensive because every drink is priced too high. For two coffees for breakfast it costs over €20. The same extensive offer is available elsewhere with at least 1 coffee for free.

We've been here several times now and every time other guests are disadvantaged; people who came to the restaurant after us were served before us! This is a disgrace and absolutely not good service, we won't be coming back here any time soon if this happens every time! Friday evening, and only one waitress and then something like that!

We were there in the evening and had a salad and a burger. The portions are really a disgrace for these prices. It's getting more and more expensive and you always have very little on your plate. The salad also didn't taste good at all, it was totally soggy and a small portion. The burger was way too dry and the bun was old. That's a disgrace for the price. Completely overpriced store. The service was okay but actually completely overwhelmed. Maybe they should hire a new chef, that was really pathetic! Even the fries were hard and almost completely cold.

So, went there again today. The service was once again so-so. At the beginning we were greeted very harshly: "Only in the front area." The food and drinks came quite quickly, but the price-performance ratio is below ground. 25 euros for breakfast for two, plus drinks, but 21 euros for a brunch buffet on Sundays and public holidays! You don't have to understand it. Unfortunately, the incompetent conditions didn't manage to say thank you normally at the end. Unfortunately, “Thank you very much and have a nice day” or “Thank you” were not possible because this person was unfortunately more busy with their order man/order device. Both of us, both from the catering industry, were pretty speechless about this behavior. Unfortunately, the boss/owner doesn't seem to care about this comment. A pity.

The location is very nice and the employees are extremely polite and accommodating. I found the cappuccino negative. It was like a hospital cappuccino - tasted like run-of-the-mill vending machine coffee, was lukewarm and finished after two sips. Any gas station coffee is better. The burgers were a 6 out of 10. The dessert (chocolate cake with ice cream) was delicious, but unfortunately the portion was too small for the price of €7.40. Please get a good barista for the counter, dear Café del Sol team ☕️

Super friendly staff, no matter how busy, food is very tasty and everything can be recommended. You can sit outside on the terrace or inside. Prices are moderate. There are enough parking spaces available. One point deducted because it has a high ceiling inside and when the cafe is full it is loud but if that doesn't bother you I recommend it

Of course I see louder ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ because I'm newly in love, and at an age well over 60 💖, but outside of stargazing I liked the friendly, cheerful, sensitive and attentive waitresses, the warm bread with the dips, the atmosphere outside with life but still being for yourself. The main menu also tasted great. And swinging for two, where can you find that? We will be back.

It was the first and last time I ate here with my wife. We went into the store, sat down and were noticed several times by the staff because we were only served after about 25 minutes, even though the store was almost empty, they didn't even point out that they would serve us straight away or anything like that. After a long wait, my wife got her noodles first, despite the slow pace of eating, my burger only came when she was almost finished eating. My burger and fries were very cold. The meat from the burger was unreasonable and I could only eat half of it. Overall very dissatisfied for €45 not even getting enough or a smile from the waiters. I won't enter this store a second time.

We are pleasantly surprised. The ambience is reminiscent of a vacation, the food is delicious and the service is attentive and very friendly. The selection of dishes is large and we enjoyed it very much.

Hello , came back for breakfast today. The desired breakfast was not available because no Serrano ham was delivered, I ordered scrambled eggs which were good 👍. My wife ordered Happy Breakfast but had a slice of Serrano ham on it. There was also a bowl of Mett and fresh spring onion rings on top, they were already dried out with white rings at the edges, the Mett was already a bit pale, definitely from the day before. The bowl of meat salad was just sausage with mayonnaise, nothing else in it!!! The boiled egg was hard and blue inside!!! That went totally wrong. But rolls and coffee were great. The quality and price don't match. Thank you, we won't be back any time soon. ☹️

I like the atmosphere there, but serving a vegan burger with a pork schnitzel and claiming it's vegan when asked is really absurd. After a second complaint, the kitchen confirmed that it was meat and the plate was brought back to us, for whatever reason. We got the vegan option and didn't have to pay, but my wife, who has been vegetarian for at least 15 years, felt so disgusting that we left. That was really a NO GO! We certainly won't be going there again, and Café del Sol has since become synonymous with deception. It's a shame actually.

Short and sweet. Quality has been below average for many years. Mostly eaten cold and as if warmed up, pasta is a disgrace. Totally overcooked, not even lukewarm and totally rubbery. Everyone's fries were almost completely cold and so was the burger paddy. Waited 45 minutes for this. At some point there was no more service and you had to run to the counter. Everything at the table next door was almost cold. That was the case there over 10 years ago and hasn't changed.

The breakfast was not good. The fried egg was cold. The butter was liquid. I got my pants and sweater dirty. Not recommendable.

Today we had brunch with 5 people. At the beginning we were served quickly. But the more crowded it got, the worse it got. What I could still live with (just order at the counter) what I couldn't cope with is the fact that at 11.30 a.m. no more warm food was refilled. When we asked, we were told "no, nothing will be refilled now" I asked if you were serious since it was still brunch time until 1 p.m. What can I say, that was probably the last time for us. That's not how you treat customers and what with the prices. This is probably the very last thing

The food tastes good, the service is ok. But you should always make a reservation. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is not right, we always pay around €25/30 per person, which is really expensive for one dinner with one drink. It's also stupid, despite the same price, that you only get 1x turkey schnitzel instead of 2x pork schnitzel. At the end your rating will also be reported, it's a shame to be so critically incompetent.

We had to wait a bit at reception because unfortunately the reservation had been lost. Once we got seats, ordering went very quickly. When it came to drinks, something from other tables probably ended up with us. The food also came very quickly and was very tasty. Everyone enjoyed it. In my experience with similar houses, the prices are at the upper price level. Unfortunately, the fairly large dining room is uncomfortably loud, which is not due to the music. The sloping ceiling has no acoustic insulation and there were many guests present.

It was also damaged by the Corona period, but is getting better and better now. That's good because you sit there in a great atmosphere.

I'm always there. The quality of the food is consistently good. Price/performance is also okay. Service could sometimes be a little more attentive. The ambience is more like a dining room...quite loud. But it's good to sit outside.

It took a while here and there for the food and drinks to arrive. Sometimes there was more clearing and cleaning than taking care of the guests. On the other hand, we are in a pandemic... so it is probably necessary to clean diligently. The large hall is very reverberant, so the acoustics are not great and conversations at your own table are difficult to understand. The ambience is otherwise very nice. The breakfast buffet is really great, very good selection, hearty and sweet, lots of salads, breads - extensive, but also has its price...you definitely have to be hungry.

Eating here again after a long time... what's on offer here for the prices is simply UNDERGROUND!!! It's a real shame what this restaurant has become. The burger doesn't taste good at all. I couldn't finish the burger and stopped eating after 3 bites. Even the packaged burgers at Lidl are a thousand times better. The meat, can we even call the paste that (?) was so unappetizing... We will never eat here again.

After a long time I was there again, unfortunately this time I wasn't really satisfied, which was very annoying because I had a friend with me who hadn't been there before. The waiter was apparently new, which isn't a bad thing if you still know what you're doing. Then unfortunately the food didn't come as ordered and during the second round of drinks the wrong cocktail was served with constant excuses and no apologies. Okay, anything can happen BUT when we saw the toilets we were really shocked, I have no idea when they were last cleaned. Unfortunately I'm very disappointed and won't be going back any time soon

breakfast buffet You should always order another one as soon as your coffee arrives, because it will be around 30 minutes away. The table wasn't cleared once within 2 hours. Table trash cans are missing. Breakfast selection is fine and there is something for everyone.

My visit to Café del sol in Hanau left me with an extremely negative impression. The pinsa we ordered turned out to be a tiny portion, which in no way met expectations. To my annoyance, my food was also served 10 minutes earlier than the other guests, which created an awkward situation. The portion size was far from adequate and left me hungry. The lemonade was particularly disappointing, as it was not only far too sweet, but almost inedible. It is unfortunate that an established establishment like Café del sol in Hanau offers such poor quality. It's almost as if all you can expect in Hanau is disappointing culinary experiences. This episode definitely didn't live up to my expectations for Café del Sol and makes me question whether I would ever consider visiting again.

About the schnitzel vacation: The price-performance ratio is already recommended for people who like to eat XXL schnitzel and still want to get their money's worth. You have to compromise on quality and you can't expect freshly beaten and breaded schnitzels. All in all, it was still very satisfactory for us with the different sauces. Schnitzel and sauce of your choice, fries and salad can be ordered as desired. Update: So the teriyaki ribs with the mini baked potatoes in garlic oil and coleslaw are now my favorite dishes. Unfortunately, I don't think all the burgers you offer are that good, as there's far too much arugula for my taste.

I went there with my family, we ordered 2 pizzas 🍕, the pizzas were not cooked properly and the ingredients were not that tasty! The service was so good, I only saw a cellar once in 1 hour. Shade!

Von MO-DO „Schnitzelurlaub“ Vegan-/Schwein-/Putenschnitzel Allyoucaneat, für 19,90€ kann man sich einkaufen. Als Beilage gibt es PommFritz + kleinen Beilagensalat, optional SüßkartoffelPommFritz gg Aufpreis. Essen: Alles kommt aus der Tiefkühltruhe und landet auf direktem Wege in der Fritteuse. Schmecken tut es, aber die Qualität ist dementsprechend. Meine heutige Wahl fiel auf das SchnitzelDelSol (Putenschnitzel + Soße Hollandaise). Sehr dünnes Scheibchen Pute, paniert und frittiert, dennoch saftig und geschmackvoll. Pommes sehr Kross, m.M.n dadurch sehr lecker! Serviert mit Mayo und Ketchup, klassisch-gut ! Beilagensalat frisch mit leckerem Dressing. Ich bestellte eine große Cola, die ich auch bekam.. 0,5l Dampfhammer mit einer Ladung Eis, wurde mir serviert. Die Sinalco schmeckt, die Sinalco schmeckt, die Sinalco die erfrischt und schmeckt! Meine Begleitungen bestellten Mango-Passionsfrucht und Himbeer-Granatapfel- Eistee. Schön angerichtet, mit Früchten garniert überzeugt dieser Eistee visuell und geschmacklich! Service: Freundlicher Empfang und Begleitung zum Tisch. Getränkebestellung wurde zügig aufgenommen, die Wartezeit war okay. Im Anschluss wurde die Bestellung fürs Essen aufgegeben. Freundlich, souverän, mehr aber auch nicht. Ambiente: Sehr schönes Stück Spanien im desolaten Hanau. Balearisches Feeling umgibt einen ganz ohne lauter Musik, die es hier nämlich nicht gibt - gut so! Das Ambiente ist das Steckenpferd dieser Gastro und gleichzeitig das beste an dem Restaurant. Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis: Mies. Allyoucaneat Schnitzelurlaub wirkt vorerst verlockend, ein normalsterblicher Erwachsener ist jedoch ohnehin nach einem Schnitzel gesättigt. Das TK-Schnitzel, die PommFritz und der Beilagensalat werden den Preis von !!19,90€!! einfach nicht gerecht. Das gleiche Produkt bekommt man bei jedem gewöhnlichen Supermarkt und bei dem o.g. Preis in zehnfacher Ausführung. Gleicheres gilt für die PommFritz. Fazit!: Summa Summarum kann man sagen, dass sich ein Besuch bedingt lohnt, Mittags zum Café oder Abends auf ein Kaltgetränk, lassen sich hier einige schöne Stunden im guten Ambiente verbringen. Das Essen und das dafür verlangte Entgelt werden sich nicht gerecht.

Heute war meine Wenigkeit mit Freunden zu Gast im Cafe Del Sol in Hanau. Begrüßt von dem einladenden Ambiente und schön gestalteter Dekoration traten wir ein. Freundlich, doch direkt, wurden wir durch einen Aufwärter in Empfang genommen, welcher uns unseren Tisch zuwies. Begrüßt von der für uns zuständigen Bedienung bestellten wir Getränke, heute: einmal Mango-Passionsfrucht-Eistee, einmal Himbeer-Granatapfel-Eistee. Beide wurden mit enthaltenem frischen Obst, in Form von Himbeeren und Mangostückchen angereicht. Die im Preis mit einbegriffenen Strohhalme erleichterten die Flüssigkeitszunahme bis zum Ende, trotz der Beschaffenheit des Papiermaterials. Wir waren überzeugt. Die Wahl der Speise fiel auf die BBQ-Ribs, mit Coleslaw und, für einen Aufpreis erhältliche, Pommes frites von der Süßkartoffel. Die Pommes frites punkteten, der Coleslaw war jedoch nicht mehr als in Ordnung. Letzteres traf leider auch auf die BBQ-Ribs zu. Demgegenüber steht die Menge der Rippen, welche einen durchschnittlichen Erwachsenen durchaus zufrieden stellen sollte. Große Abzüge bei der Benotung müssen leider bei der Erbringung der geforderten Barmittel erfolgen. 06,70€ PRO Eistee, welcher vermutlich nicht von Grund auf durch die Hände der Cafe Del Dol-Mitarbeiter:innen gefertigt wurde ist happig. 20,50€ für die BBQ-Ribs wäre meiner Meinung nach in Ordnung, ein Aufpreis von 02,60€ für den Austausch von herkömmlichen Pommes frites zu Süßkartoffel-Pommes frites ist bedauerlich. Mit der Aktion „Schnitzelurlaub,“ bei der man sich für eines der angebotenen Schnitzelkrationen entscheidet und nach Belieben, ohne weitere Kosten, erneut bestellen kann, sollen Kunden angelockt werden. Hier bekamen wir qualitativ, für ein herkömmliches Schnitzel, durchschnittliche Stücke Fleisch, wahlweise vom Schwein oder von der Pute. Die angedeckten Schnitzel hatten eine Größe, welche es einem Normalsterblichen unmöglich machte ein weiteres Schnitzel zu bestellen. Dementsprechend bekommt man hier also ein durchschnittliches Schnitzel für satte 19,90€! Dies ist schlichtweg ein deutlich zu hoher Preis für die hier gegebene Qualität. Alles in Allem kann man hier zusammenfassen, dass ein Besuch des Café Del Sol in Hanau keineswegs obligatorisch ist. Gegenüber dem was man hier bekommt gibt es deutlich lohnenswertere Alternativen.

Great ambience, delicious food.

We were there on Saturday March 16th at around 1pm. There wasn't much going on. Unfortunately the burgers were lukewarm and the pinsa was tough. The food had clearly been sitting in the kitchen for too long and wasn't served. The waitresses weren't attentive and didn't actually check on us. We're not used to that here, everything is normally fine and the waitresses are very attentive.

We were there on Saturday evening and probably the last time. We waited 2 hours for our food, the table next door had already given up and left the restaurant. It was said that the main chef was spontaneously ill, hence the "short" delay... This restaurant tried to survive the evening understaffed and at the expense of the customers. Some mistakes were made, some of the fries ended up next to the table and some of the fries were missing completely from another dish. My fries were ok, but they weren't really hot anymore... Next time I'll go on vacation somewhere else.

I have to say that my experience shows that eating is the equivalent of that feeling: being spit on. Get schnitzel instead of vegan patty. Therefore never again!

Five of us were there on Saturday evening. The first round of drinks was already a long time coming. The starters came after about 1:15h. The main courses took another 45 minutes to arrive. At that point, hunger was no longer an issue. Of the 5 meals, one came without a side dish, several without the sauces ordered and one not at all. We ultimately gave up on this. When asked, the service responded rather annoyedly, saying the store was full. We were later informed that there was no staff in the kitchen. It is absolutely incomprehensible to still completely fill the store with guests. The food we got was at least quite good, but it couldn't make up for the terrible service.

Unfortunately I can't give 0 points, it was underground. Arrived at 7 p.m., we ordered our food for 4 adults and 4 children at 7:15 p.m. After an hour at 8:15 p.m. we asked for the first time and after 1.5 hours at 8:45 p.m. we asked emphatically and asked them to take care of it now. We also have children. At 9:15 p.m. we stopped and wanted to leave. Here they admitted we had forgotten it and now it was being prepared. We stuck with it and left. One of the waitresses said we had to understand that it was full. That topped it all off. The lady who served us was at least uncomfortable. Update: Unfortunately, the operator's response is a standard one that I've seen at least on one other critical review. Of course I didn't take a short vacation in Hanau either. Sorry, but you can't express even less interest in your guests.

We waited a long time until we were finally asked about the drinks and were able to order, even though there wasn't much going on. In general, the food leaves a lot to be desired, tiny little salad with what feels like 3 leaves for an extra price of €2.90, and in my opinion the burger isn't worth €14 either because it doesn't come with a side dish. The burger was tasty, but my husband's food (also burgers and nachos) was cold. The drinks were also very expensive, the cola tasted like water with cola syrup and for over 5€ for 0.5l. We won't come anymore. But the staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was very nice

Four out of five meals came after TWO hours after repeated requests. The fifth meal would have been mine. I didn't want it anymore. At the next table, a larger group left after waiting two and a half hours for their food. They wanted to go to a fast food chain that could get the burgers done quicker. Never again! Not recommended!

The four of us spontaneously went there after the cinema without a table reservation to drink cocktails. It was very busy, but we got a table straight away and were able to enjoy our cocktails after a short time. The cocktails were incredibly tasty. The service was very friendly, although as I said the store was very busy. The asking price for the cocktails was reasonable. We ordered hamburgers, which at first glance looked phenomenal. Unfortunately, the first bite quickly brought us back down to earth. The burger patty was a frozen patty. It was really terribly dry and tasted terrible. The hamburger bun was okay, but couldn't stand out in terms of taste. We really expected more for the price. The BBQ burger, for example, cost over €13. It definitely wasn't worth it!! We were really considering letting the hamburgers go back. But since we were all really hungry, we left it alone. A good one, the fries and the sweet potato fries were super cross and well seasoned, but they were not included in the price, they had to be ordered separately. The sweet potato fries cost €3 more than the fries. Which was incomprehensible since none of them were freshly cut. Still, they tasted good. Unfortunately we cannot recommend the hamburgers!!

Very rude we have been sitting on the terrace for half an hour when we ask for a waiter they very rudely say that we won't get one because we are sitting outside even though everything is set outside. So disorganized and rude!! Not recommended at all!!!!

Food good, ambience good, but service leaves a lot to be desired. It was relatively crowded outside when we arrived. And since we wanted to sit in the sun, the only option was a table. When asked, it was “one thing at a time.” 20 minutes later we were finally able to place our order and only then had the table cleared and cleaned. As the process progressed, we had to keep making ourselves known to reorder something. Once we ordered drinks together with food. First one of the three drinks came, only then the second, then the food. After the third drink I had to ask after the food was already half eaten. That's no fun! We then had to wait for the bill after we had already spoken to two waiters! So no further visit follows.

The ambience is very good, but the prices are unfortunately rather high. Bottle of water 0, 75 l for 8.10 euros... Well, somehow over the mark.
