Good food, friendly service! We had a very nice evening.

The store could actually be cozy and nice. But it's not, because it's really dirty there. The carpets and armchairs there in particular are a complete disaster; But everything under the tables isn't cleaned there regularly - as often as is necessary in the catering industry! - cleaned. We got there around 1pm and there was hardly anything going on; Nevertheless, the carpets under the dining tables were completely dirty with leftover food; The table legs were also super dirty; i.e. no one cleans up in between. I couldn't even look down because it looked so weird. The armchairs that are standing there are also really old and broken. Replace broken furniture, forego armchairs as far as I'm concerned but put something clean. Sorry, you don't feel well at all. Hygiene and cleanliness are still important and desired in 2024! Especially if I have to eat in this atmosphere (not exactly cheap food).

I used to go to Cafe del Sol very often (until 2 years ago), whether for private or business purposes, and was always very satisfied, but it hasn't gotten any better. The food was below average and way too expensive for this quality. Service was okay. For better or worse, I will have to look for another location to invite my guests to.

Were out with friends in Hanau today and wanted to have a nice evening at Café Del Sol. We sat for 30 minutes and no one served us. The black-haired one and the blonde-haired one didn't serve us or anything else. They told us twice that it was coming, but it came simply nothing and instead of chatting with the guests the ladies can take our order so HANAU WAS THE LAST TIME 1 star is even too much

On November 30th, 2024 we entered the restaurant at 10:20 p.m. and sat at the table for half an hour and were not served. After 15 minutes I pointed out to the lady with the dark hair that we would like to order something and that we had been sitting there for 15 minutes. She then waved to me that she would come soon and I waited for her. however nothing happened. There was simply no one coming. I started to get angry and went back to the front of the counter and asked if I should help myself. After all, there were four of us. I was then told no, someone would come to you immediately and we were very sorry that you hadn't been served yet. After another 10 minutes, no one came and I kept watching the employees. They were constantly chatting with friends and acquaintances at various tables. I will never enter Café del Sol Hanau again. This is just a juice shop. You can learn a lesson from Café del Sol in Fulda. Greetings, who slammed the door.

Soooo bad service. I've been here many times and have given it a new chance each time, but waiting so damn long for service is impossible. Unfortunately, whether there is a lot going on or not much going on, it is always the same. Today I even had to go to the service and order myself because no one came!

I like the ambience, even if it is very loud (there is no soundproofing). There are enough parking spaces available. Service attentive. However, prices are questionable. €8.80 for a handful of sweet potatoes. €5.60 for wheat

We were there for a parents' meeting. I liked the atmosphere, it was comfortable to sit and it was clean. The food was very tasty, although unfortunately the dishes were all brought to the table a little later, which of course had a slightly negative impact on the course of the evening. Otherwise that would be the only point of criticism. The service was very nice and attentive and the waiting time for drinks was normal.

Service: an imposition. We tried to pay for 20 minutes. The waitress acts like she doesn't notice that people want to pay. So if you're upset and want to pay money for it, then please! Never again!

One of my favorite places. Outside on the terrace in summer, it reminds you of vacation. Friendly staff, but not enough for a busy restaurant.

Sunday evening we were seated by the waiters. No waiter paid us any attention for 35 minutes, despite shouting several times. Conclusion: we left again after 35 minutes. Very poor performance and unfortunately we didn't know anything about Café del Sol in Hanau until that day. Very unfortunate. We won't be coming back for a while.

The breakfast buffet is very good 👍. Everything your heart desires is there. The facility is very comfortable. The only minus is that you have to wait a very long time for drinks. We waited almost half an hour until a condition came up so we could order something.

Since I don't care much for brunch, I don't want to rate the food. I found the atmosphere great and the service very friendly and accommodating. As you would expect, it is very busy on Sundays. If you like it quiet and relaxed, it's best to visit during the week. The coffee was very good, as was the food that was available.

The night and dinner started off well, however when my friend found plastic in her dish and mentioned that to the waiter along with the commend that the meal was nice but she was irritated that the restaurant used canned mushrooms instead of fresh ones, we were ignored for the rest of the evening. Would not recommend neither food nor service at this place.

Meals seemed to have been warmed up frozen pasta dishes combined with canned products. Service very ignorant after my friend had plastic in her food and it was brought to to attention of management.

I always come here. But the things I order always arrive late. I'm sitting here right now and they didn't bring my coffee for 23 minutes. 20-25 people sit on the terrace, but only one waiter works. I experience this all the time. Please increase the number of waiters. Thank you.

Food was quite good, the price/performance ratio wasn't right. The waiters/waitresses pay absolutely no attention to you and don't understand you well.

Cafe del Sol is just like in a hall. Not everyone likes it. But when you're on vacation, I'm in these things all the time, but you don't like it here. {<OK I need to take more vacation>}. The food I ate was good and tasted good. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The scrambled egg citizen (I forgot the name) for breakfast was amazing!

Not only did the waiter drop the food and we had to wait longer, but the food that arrived wasn't even warm. The sauces for the fries were really not tasty and had a strange note to them. The teryiaki pinsa was so covered in sauce that it only tasted like the sauce. In terms of price, this is also unreasonable, as you get very little quality for the high prices. After repeated calls, the last forgotten dishes arrived. All in all, a very bad restaurant that I wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Unfortunately disappointing... We have been here regularly for years. We are aware that there is now a certain price pressure everywhere, but what is going on here cannot be justified. The quality is still good, but the massively increased prices and the ever smaller portions are no longer in proportion! The fact that the staff always gives the impression that they are understaffed or overwhelmed is one thing, but the prices, despite all understanding for these portions, are just a disgrace! Unfortunately it was probably the last time here…

Today we spontaneously decided to go for breakfast and came across the café. the service was very nice and attentive. Unfortunately we were very disappointed with the breakfast. The quality and presentation of the breakfast left a lot to be desired. Unfortunately, the offer didn't satisfy us - the baked rolls and croissants didn't taste good. As tomato mozzarella, two boring skewers were put down The orange slice used as decoration had better days behind it. I hope the points can be changed in the future so that future guests can have a better experience.

Food was quite good, nothing special. I'm really excited about the breakfast buffet at the weekend, it's really great, there's something for everyone. Service was really great, very friendly, warm and accommodating. I was happy to tip for that. The ambience is generally very cozy, but due to the size it is also very loud and you have to have a loud conversation to understand each other, which can sometimes lead to a sore throat over time.

Pleasant ambience. Even in times of Corona, there is enough space inside to keep the distance. You can also spend time outside under a roof. Located a little outside, parking is available free of charge. Friendly service. Good choice of food, whether vegetarian or normal. One star is still missing,...but it's only half a star.

Delicious feta burger with sweet potato fries. The Chicken Caesar Pinsa was actually tasty too, just a little too much sauce. But they are also very proud prices.

We went to brunch with a large group today for the baptism. A beautiful, spacious row of tables was prepared for us. The selection of food was high quality, tasty and beautifully presented. Everything was quickly filled and beautifully presented. The drink service was courteous and everyone was super friendly. Visited for the first time as a “celebration” in a large group - and it was great! Everything worked smoothly, the price was more than fair & only satisfied faces. Thanks for the great morning with you! This certainly wasn't your last celebration. See you soon for your “usual” evening visit 😉 Kudos to the great team today - on September 8th, 2024 - for brunch!

Didn't eat anything... but... drink was delicious... tried several... non-alcoholic cocktails... simply refreshing on the hot weather days. Nice employees. I'd love to go there. It's clean too. I haven't seen the kitchen yet, but I'll ask if I can take a look at the kitchen soon?! Sequel follows...

The experience at Café del Sol is the worst we have had in recent times. Apparently sick leave, 2 service employees and far too many guests. Waiting times for drinks are 25 minutes and that too on request. The department manager pretends to be the boss and does not provide any information when asked who the boss is. You have the feeling that you are not wanted. Eating with wilted arugula. Completely overpriced. We will never in our lives visit the café in Hanau again and tell everyone about our experience.

We went there for dinner on a Monday evening (around 6 p.m.). The service is really slow and not really friendly. We had empty glasses when the food came. Nobody asked if we wanted anything else. We then ordered two drinks (on our own initiative), which were brought after 15 minutes. In the meantime we had also ordered the bill. Drinks came with the bill. Of course the food had already been eaten by then. The taste is really good. But the service was really bad. Our table next door waited 20 minutes for anyone to take their first drinks. We definitely won't go there again in the near future. We don't have enough time for that.

Ambience is ok. The service could be a little more attentive but is friendly. As for the food: molded meat schnitzel with fries and a small salad for €20!!! Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio no longer fits at all. Unfortunately, the prices of the drinks are also above average. I don't think we'll be going there more often in the near future. But taste-wise it was okay. Unfortunately, the salad had hardly received any dressing. In summary: In other restaurants you get better quality for less money.

Drinks were actually quite good. Ambience also very appropriate. There were 4 of us. There, 2 of our 4 people were just insulted when we ordered our order with the words "You still dare to come here". Sounded very strange and uninviting. We were there for a bachelorette party and had brunch on a Sunday. The selection of food was just great. Nothing was missing and everything you could dream of was also offered. The only negative point for us was that, in our opinion, there were too few employees. We had to wait a long time for the drinks and unfortunately no one was attentive enough to see the empty glasses in the two hours we were there. But maybe it was just because there was a lot going on. But we'd love to come back

The food was OK for the prices. The service was an absolute disaster Stuffy staff, orders sometimes never arrived and when you complained it was your own fault if you came with 11 people! Unfortunately no longer recommended

We had two classic burgers. Unfortunately they weren't fresh, they were warmed up and were so dry and tasteless that we couldn't eat more than two bites each. Absolute impudence and a waste of money!!!

I've had a drink at Cafe del Sol several times, but I've never eaten there until now. Drinks and service have always been A with stars. The place also has a wonderful ambience! Definitely worth a visit!

Unfortunately, the del Sol is no longer what it used to be. Ordered cheeseburger, got chilli cheese burger. Speci 0.5 ordered, tasteless plöre.. when complaining, dismissed with a ridiculous smile.. We used to be there every day. Visited the store again with friends after years and was extremely disappointed... It's a real shame...

Excellent friendly and fast service. The sumptuous chicken burger tastes like more and comes to the table quickly after ordering.

The food was disastrous. The Pinza dough was dry as if the dough had been pre-baked the day before and heated just before serving. There was no question of a salami topping. The slices were so thin that you hardly noticed them. For 14 euros the portion was small + the quality was poor. The other dishes didn't look any better. There was no homemade dish. This is all frozen food that was only heated up or put in the fryer. Anyone who calls themselves a chef there should take a cooking course. The prices are far too high for the fact that they were all Konvinient products from Selgros or Metro. The service was friendly but she didn't take my criticism seriously. Please avoid the location when eating. You can go there for a drink.

Very bad. Were there for breakfast. The child hadn't eaten anything, just took a bite of mom's waffle and we had to pay the full amount for brunch. The shift manager was totally unreasonable and unfriendly. The waiter wanted to clear away plates even though we were told we still needed them. Completely not recommended. At the buffet the rolls were hard and some of the fruit was empty. The store is not recommended.

Class service. Delicious breakfast. Unfortunately, it's far too expensive because every drink is priced too high. For two coffees for breakfast it costs over €20. The same extensive offer is available elsewhere with at least 1 coffee for free.

We were there in the evening and had a salad and a burger. The portions are really a disgrace for these prices. It's getting more and more expensive and you always have very little on your plate. The salad also didn't taste good at all, it was totally soggy and a small portion. The burger was way too dry and the bun was old. That's a disgrace for the price. Completely overpriced store. The service was okay but actually completely overwhelmed. Maybe they should hire a new chef, that was really pathetic! Even the fries were hard and almost completely cold.

So, went there again today. The service was once again so-so. At the beginning we were greeted very harshly: "Only in the front area." The food and drinks came quite quickly, but the price-performance ratio is below ground. 25 euros for breakfast for two, plus drinks, but 21 euros for a brunch buffet on Sundays and public holidays! The location is very nice and the employees are extremely polite and accommodating. I found the cappuccino negative. It was like a hospital cappuccino - tasted like run-of-the-mill vending machine coffee, was lukewarm and finished after two sips. Any gas station coffee is better. The burgers were a 6 out of 10. The dessert (chocolate cake with ice cream) was delicious, but unfortunately the portion was too small for the price of €7.40. Please get a good barista for the counter, dear Café del Sol team ☕️

Super friendly staff, no matter how busy, food is very tasty and everything can be recommended. You can sit outside on the terrace or inside. Prices are moderate. There are enough parking spaces available. One point deducted because it has a high ceiling inside and when the cafe is full it is loud but if that doesn't bother you I recommend it

Of course I see louder ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ because I'm newly in love, and at an age well over 60 💖, but outside of stargazing I liked the friendly, cheerful, sensitive and attentive waitresses, the warm bread with the dips, the atmosphere outside with life but still being for yourself. The main menu also tasted great. And swinging for two, where can you find that? We will be back.

It was the first and last time I ate here with my wife. We went into the store, sat down and were noticed several times by the staff because we were only served after about 25 minutes, even though the store was almost empty, they didn't even point out that they would serve us straight away or anything like that. After a long wait, my wife got her noodles first, despite the slow pace of eating, my burger only came when she was almost finished eating. My burger and fries were very cold. The meat from the burger was unreasonable and I could only eat half of it. Overall very dissatisfied for €45 not even getting enough or a smile from the waiters. I won't enter this store a second time.

We are pleasantly surprised. The ambience is reminiscent of a vacation, the food is delicious and the service is attentive and very friendly. The selection of dishes is large and we enjoyed it very much.

Hello , came back for breakfast today. The desired breakfast was not available because no Serrano ham was delivered, I ordered scrambled eggs which were good 👍. My wife ordered Happy Breakfast but had a slice of Serrano ham on it. There was also a bowl of Mett and fresh spring onion rings on top, they were already dried out with white rings at the edges, the Mett was already a bit pale, definitely from the day before. The bowl of meat salad was just sausage with mayonnaise, nothing else in it!!! The boiled egg was hard and blue inside!!! That went totally wrong. But rolls and coffee were great. The quality and price don't match. Thank you, we won't be back any time soon. ☹️

I like the atmosphere there, but serving a vegan burger with a pork schnitzel and claiming it's vegan when asked is really absurd. After a second complaint, the kitchen confirmed that it was meat and the plate was brought back to us, for whatever reason. We got the vegan option and didn't have to pay, but my wife, who has been vegetarian for at least 15 years, felt so disgusting that we left. That was really a NO GO! We certainly won't be going there again, and Café del Sol has since become synonymous with deception. It's a shame actually.

Short and sweet. Quality has been below average for many years. Mostly eaten cold and as if warmed up, pasta is a disgrace. Totally overcooked, not even lukewarm and totally rubbery. Everyone's fries were almost completely cold and so was the burger paddy. Waited 45 minutes for this. At some point there was no more service and you had to run to the counter. Everything at the table next door was almost cold. That was the case there over 10 years ago and hasn't changed.
