The breakfast was really nothing special for the price. There were 2 types of rolls to choose from, the croissants tasted baked. The sausage platter was nothing special and didn't look quite as appetizing, the same was the cheese platter. The fruit platter wasn't refilled either. I know the breakfast is okay from 9 to 12 we were there at 10 and there were only the leftovers and I think with a price of almost 14 euros per person everyone should have the opportunity to get a selection.

We went for breakfast brunch on Saturday. You can't complain about the selection or taste, but we weren't at all satisfied with the service. Although surprisingly there wasn't much going on on a Saturday morning, the staff hadn't even put the plates away. I also had to wait almost 20 minutes to pay, even though we let us know.

The food was cold, the knife and fork were dirty and of the three men's toilets, two were dirty and the seat was loose.

Unfortunately we were disappointed. We waited a very long time to receive our order, drinks and food. It wasn't full. The burger wasn't really warm, the knife was sticky. Quality and price don't match. The toilet was also far too dirty for a restaurant. Too bad.

American ambience and architecture in the Pampas.

We spontaneously went to Cafe del Sol in Göttingen and were pleasantly surprised! The food was simply excellent. My girlfriend had the Chili Cheese Burger and I had the Schnitzel del Sol - both were incredibly tasty and perfectly prepared. We have rarely eaten so well. The ambience, both inside and outside, is perfectly coordinated. The huge terrace, which invites you to linger, is particularly impressive. From the outside, the whole property looks like a Texas ranch, which creates a special atmosphere. The atmosphere was cozy and the service was friendly and attentive. We'll definitely be back! Highly Recommended!

The restaurant's atmosphere is very good. However, the food is very simple and the quantity served is insufficient. Furthermore, the waiting time was over 40 minutes, which is quite inconvenient. One star for food.

We were there for brunch. Everything was good, everything was delicious, but next time only for breakfast, since brunch is honestly a bit too expensive for the little more that is on offer. Unfortunately, even normal coffee is not included in the price.

Food (including burgers, schnitzel) was good. Nice atmosphere. From a family perspective, a play area/space would be desirable. Value for money for the food is okay, but 0.75 liters of mineral water for at least €7.40 (as of 7/24) leaves a mixed impression and is well above what we have paid in comparable locations recently. Overall it was good, and the courteous service was particularly positive. Children's meals and certain drinks (apple juice spritzer for €2.70) are not shown on the menu on site, but are clearly visible online. Therefore, the tip for families is to find out about the relevant options online beforehand. For electric car drivers, the charging stations right next to the restaurant are also worth mentioning (Tesla Supercharger).

Been coming here for years, but only for the sambal cream. The service is okay and the food is edible. Unfortunately, something is always missing from every meal. No matter whether it was mayo or something else... I've never seen a meal that was complete. The toilets are apparently clean but smell so much like urine that you would think that the scented sticks were bought with the smell of urine. When we complained, we were only offered a discount. I don't think anything will change here. A pity.

We have been here twice in the last 14 days on our holiday trip from the south to the Baltic Sea and once enjoyed the breakfast buffet and the food from the menu. The food was delicious, the service was friendly and the atmosphere in the restaurant was very nice. Unfortunately, this does not apply to the sanitary area. Both times it was in a catastrophic condition. Visually as well as smells. We don't understand how this blatant disparity is tolerated by the operator and obviously accepted by the guests. Since no indications were given in the other recessions. It's a shame actually...

Ambiance is reminiscent of American restaurants. The bowls we ate tasted almost like nothing. My wife picked out the few pieces of vegetables, luckily I ordered falafel with it, so there was some taste in the mouth. Half went back to the kitchen. 🤷 The answer from service was that he wouldn't order that here either. 😉 We're not fans of McDonald's and BK, but I think it actually tastes better there.😁 That was nothing, once and never again 🙆

Ambience quite good but I ate the baked mini potatoes with shrimp. Unfortunately the potatoes were more than done and so were the shrimp. Unfortunately not convinced for the price-performance ratio with the few shrimps!

The toilets (women's and men's) were so dirty and unclean that I didn't use them (men's)! The waiter was friendly. The brunch buffet matched the toilets, not acceptable. The price: 2 coffees 2x brunch 49€. Never again!!! You have to give one star to post.

After 15 minutes of waiting, a service person came and asked what drinks we wanted. According to the drinks menu, the raspberry pomegranate iced tea I ordered was supposed to contain blackberries. Unfortunately none. Taking the food order took a good 15 minutes after receiving the drinks. We ordered two burgers with fries. The portion size was quite small. My portion of sweet potato fries was a laughing stock at a price of €5.90 in addition to the burger. In addition, both types of fries were only lukewarm. However, since we had already had to wait a long time and if we had complained, the burger would have been completely cold or already eaten, so we said so when we cleared it away. Employee reaction: Ok next time we'll try them hot. The crowning finale was going to the toilet… There was toilet paper stuck to the sink in several places (probably used for drying) and there was a bad, unpleasant smell in the entire toilet area. The men's toilet didn't look any better. The floor was full of water and the tile that covered a urinal (was probably defective) flew around on the ground. My conclusion: In my opinion, the service and the quality of the food have deteriorated significantly. We won't be visiting again anytime soon.

Mine the worst break we've ever taken. I do not know where to start. We order two loaded fries and a salad and fries for the kids. The dishes arrived with a 20-minute time difference, so that the first ones were already ready when the others received their food. Then the fries were really a joke, according to the menu I had fries with humus, but the humus was more of a sauce and very little. The lemon mayo was completely missing. When asked, the answer was that the dish was fine and only after a long, unpleasant discussion was the plate taken back into the kitchen and returned, slightly changed. Meanwhile the fries were cold. The second frieze was also amazing, for a price of 10 euros. And unfortunately it continued like that - the staff ignored us. This is the first review I have written in my life for everyone reading this. Please never go there.

Large selection (including vegetarian dishes) and delicious food. The dishes are affordable at first glance, but the portions are very small, so it's quite expensive overall, as you're unlikely to get full from just one main course. The drinks also seemed way too expensive to me. The ambience is nice, but you can hear a lot of noise from the street outside - so overall it's pretty mediocre.

Unfortunately we weren't very happy with the food. Unfortunately, the schnitzel had a lot of semen and was therefore not good in terms of quality and good to eat. The cocktails were filled with ice to the top, which made the cocktails watery very quickly. Service also brought us the cards very late. Unfortunately the visit didn't convince us.

Good place to eat with friends and have a drink. The atmosphere is really good with nice decorations and an outside terrace. We went there after 10pm so there were only pizza style bread (Pinse). It was fresh and delicious. The staff was nice and helpful. It's very close to the autobahn so you can stop for a quick snack and drinks. Would recommend

I think the Café del Sol in Göttingen is actually quite nice, but unfortunately we had the problem again and again that something was delivered incorrectly or not at all. If you get the right food, what you ordered, it usually tastes pretty good. You can tell from the service that most of them are quite inexperienced in the business and don't yet have an overview to see which guests have a concern. The interior is quite standard.

That was nothing, but let's start at the beginning. You have to wait until you are assigned a place. No problem, except that the two waiters still had to finish their meeting and we stood in the room like a stupid comment. Anyway, we got a seat and ordered a salad and a pinsa. The salad came, the pinsa didn't. Wait Wait Fifteen minutes later the Pinsa arrived, but both were probably ready at the same time because the Pinsa was cold. I complain and the waiter doesn't believe me and checks the temperature of the food with his fingers several times. Then he says he'll warm it up again. I thought it was stupid now... Short discussion, boss comes, I get a new Pinsa. It's hot, so far ok, I didn't like it. Lettuce and carrots on top, chicken and teriyaki sauce from the bottle. Well, you can argue about the taste, it just wasn't mine, but the salad was good. Conclusion: I don't need it again

We went to Café del Sol for the first time today. From the first moment we were amazed by the atmosphere. The service was also very nice, although quite forgetful when it came to delivering the ordered food – free of charge. However, what we were served exceeded all civilized expectations. The at least appetizing-looking “Pinsa Tonno Mediterran”, a kind of rectangular pizza: almost tasteless. The “Thai curry bowl with wok vegetables”: completely devoid of any taste – with a rather strange presentation. In fact, we were served an unidentifiable slush that had nothing, absolutely nothing, to do with the promise of the menu. The devil knows where the advertised “red Thai curry sauce” was; or was it missing as completely as the roasted sesame? The crowning glory, however, was the “fried chicken breast strips,” which were subject to a surcharge and were dangerously reminiscent of slippery offal. This ensemble can hardly be worded any other way. The waiter, who occasionally inquired about our satisfaction and then heard the criticism described above in a friendly tone, responded with a curt “Oh”. What should he have answered? Anyway, he got a tip. However, we reluctantly paid for the meal. Our conclusion as not particularly demanding gourmands, please take it as a warning to everyone: never again Café del Sol. In this context, it is a complete mystery to us where the numerous extremely positive reviews for this “restaurant” come from…

Breakfast buffet had a great selection

I really enjoy going to Café del Sol in Göttingen. The service is always great and people ask at pleasant intervals if everything is OK. The cocktails and dishes are seasonal. Sometimes a bit expensive, so a star deduction for the food. Otherwise absolutely recommended. 👍👍👍

New Tesla Supercharger V4 up to 1,000V! A bit of a rocky impression. The building needs a new coat of paint. Good location to the highway. We sat for 10 minutes. at the counter, no bartender was interested in us. Next time we'll try the Timberjack.

Staff friendly. Schnitzel with mushrooms and fries. To put it diplomatically, you shouldn't have too high demands. You get the impression that the fries, mushrooms... portions are offered at a very reduced price but the price keeps going up, currently for the dish 18 €90. You can go there.

The two of us spontaneously went to Café del Sol after work on a Tuesday and were satisfied. The outside area was well attended, which is why we opted for a table inside. Luckily this was possible without a reservation. There is also sufficient parking space. The service was totally attentive and friendly and the drinks came very quickly. The food was also ready after about 15-20 minutes. We once had the baked potatoes with shrimp and a burger with fries. Both tasted very good and fresh! What we can never miss is the sambal hollandaise. Delicious. You can pay in cash and by card.

At 11:00 a.m. sharp, it's a shift in the shaft with breakfast, but the freshly squeezed orange juice and the scrambled eggs with tomato and breakfast bacon are worth a visit.

Fresh peppermint tea - brown leaves and empty stems without leaves on them. Unfortunately, this happens again and again here, even though we like coming here, for €4.50 a glass you should put a little more effort into the look. I mean you can't go wrong with a little mint and hot water.

We were there with 11 people on a spur of the moment and even got a table. The staff was friendly and quick. I ordered a Pinsa, well. When the order came I wondered why there were scissors on the board. For the people you know what a pinsa is, pinsa is made of different types of flour and is very fluffy. It may be that this pinsa also consisted of different types of flour, but there it was. It was like a flounder and I could have killed my neighbor with it, it was so dry and hard. The colleagues' food looked good, I didn't hear any complaints, but the pinsa was a no go.

My girlfriend and I and a DJ colleague and his girlfriend went to Café Del Sol in Göttingen yesterday and we were absolutely thrilled! The food was incredibly tasty and the portions were generous. Service was quick and attentive - we were seated immediately and barely had to wait for our food. The ambience of the restaurant is first class. We're still raving about our visit there. We will definitely come back!

Loud and hectic evening. Our reserved table for 8 people consisted of 4 small tables pushed together, so you couldn't see anything from one end to the other. There is definitely no holiday feeling. But the food was good, if it had been more comfortable it would have been 5 stars. The waiter was very demanding about taking money and always bringing something new to the table, which was a bit unpleasant.

A very great interior, roomy and inviting. The food is amazing and filling, the spring special (Mac&Cheese) was amazing(!), aswell as the hamburger and fries with the lemon mayo. The server was super kind and sympathetic! Even before reserving the seat when I called it was very pleasant to call with the person I called with, they answered all my questions patiently and on short notice still had a seat available. My Belgian friend and I had an amazing experience and a great time together.

The service staff are nice. The food is OK, but nothing special. I wanted to order breakfast (scrambled eggs) at 11:07 on a weekday - no chance. “The kitchen definitely doesn't do that, they're a bit strange.” It's a shame, because it was an explicit request.

We actually just wanted to go for a drink but the staff didn't feel like serving us. And preferred to talk behind the counter. We then simply drove 200 meters further and were not disappointed at “Timberjacks”.

When I'm in Göttingen I like to eat here. The food and service is great. Prices are okay. It's become more expensive everywhere. Ordering and serving is also relatively quick.

We like to go here for brunch. Reservations important on weekends. But then also very crowded and loud.
