Café del Sol as you know it. Very restless. The soup was very tasty.

We had booked a table for brunch. We were warmly welcomed and shown to the table. The buffet offers something for everyone, salad, sausage, cheese, fish, eggs in different variations, in the warm area, schnitzel, fish, poultry... If you don't find anything there, you won't find anything anywhere. Drinks were delivered quickly, all in all a nice Sunday meal

I can't say anything about the food, I was just there for a drink. Tables next to me were moved. It was very loud but that's my feeling, I can't tolerate loud noises well. All in all, it should be as it is. The concept makes sense but it's not for me

Food was ok. The “schnitzel vacation” campaign is not recommended. The first schnitzel was good. Then some kind of molded meat can be used. We were not informed about this. We gave this back. Schnitzel 3 was turkey again. Schnitzel 4 was again a molded schnitzel... again weighed down. Ordered something new... in between the shift manager came and explained to us that this was normal, that you would only get the shaped schnitzel as a second helping and that the kitchen wouldn't find it tasty either... We were then made to wait for 20 minutes. We then decided to pay and leave the restaurant. All in all not recommended...

I was there for the first time. Because of numerous recommendations, I was very excited. I really liked the visual impression of the location. We had reserved a table for 6 people and the seating assignment worked without any problems. The first drink was served after a short wait and a quick food order was urged due to a longer wait (30 minutes was announced, which I actually think is totally okay). However, the food only came after more than an hour and was served without cutlery. When asked, they said they would send a colleague straight away. We practiced patience and ate the already cold fries with our fingers. Since the colleague with the cutlery was still not there, we tried again ourselves and, after some discussions with the service staff, were finally able to eat our now almost cold food. The food itself was very tasty, although unfortunately too cold. The replenishment of drinks also left a lot to be desired. It's a shame, I had imagined the evening differently.

Over an hour wait for the food. Schnitzel offer was not well communicated. Some dishes were no longer available - no bowls, no pasta, no turkey schnitzel. Re-ordering schnitzel offer only after several attempts due to circumstances - time for re-ordering 30 minutes. Quality of meat not good. I also had to wait 30 minutes for my drink. The table wasn't cleared for a long time. The mood of the service staff was noticeably bad. Unfortunately not recommended.

Friendly staff. Unfortunately, some desserts were no longer available that Sunday, but the service staff tried very hard and was able to offer alternatives. They were also very friendly when dealing with children and were able to show alternatives to spicier foods when my son wanted less suitable foods.

Unfortunately it was so full that the food didn't go well. We were a larger group and it was not possible to get the first course and the main course one after the other. Some of the food was cold. A pulled burger should go back and the very unfriendly service person loudly explained that it is always cold and that he only takes it back when the bun or fries are cold. It's a shame that the unfriendliness was so noticeable that it won't entice us to visit again.

What can I say, I feel comfortable when I'm there

First of all: We used to go to Del Sol regularly. Now we were there again after a long time... Schnitzel del Sol 19€! Wow, what a price. I know everything is getting more expensive but how much is that for a portion? At such a price you don't expect a few fries and a small schnitzel. Service is otherwise nice as always and the ambience remained the same. We won't be coming back for a while - it's a shame! In the picture I haven't touched any fries yet.

You pay €11 for a chicken burger here. What do you get for it? A very thin, tasteless molded meat frozen patty; Cheap lettuce and tomatoes, where warm tap water is an absolute taste explosion. Wrapped in a sad bun. But hey, at least the sauce was okay. Service made an effort, but confused "water with lemon" with "lemonade", which had previously been fundamentally denied. Ambience was good, there are two swings. A total of €30 per person, then you'd rather have a fast food chain or even a 3-week-old pork knuckle from Na Tanke.

The food is cheap stuff at prices that are too high. I don't understand why even a currywurst takes three quarters of an hour at medium capacity. And then the food is lukewarm when it comes.

The breakfast was really nothing special for the price. There were 2 types of rolls to choose from, the croissants tasted baked. The sausage platter was nothing special and didn't look quite as appetizing, the same was the cheese platter. The fruit platter wasn't refilled either. I know the breakfast is okay from 9 to 12 we were there at 10 and there were only the leftovers and I think with a price of almost 14 euros per person everyone should have the opportunity to get a selection.

We went for breakfast brunch on Saturday. You can't complain about the selection or taste, but we weren't at all satisfied with the service. Although surprisingly there wasn't much going on on a Saturday morning, the staff hadn't even put the plates away. I also had to wait almost 20 minutes to pay, even though we let us know.

American ambience and architecture in the Pampas.

We spontaneously went to Cafe del Sol in Göttingen and were pleasantly surprised! The food was simply excellent. My girlfriend had the Chili Cheese Burger and I had the Schnitzel del Sol - both were incredibly tasty and perfectly prepared. We have rarely eaten so well. The ambience, both inside and outside, is perfectly coordinated. The huge terrace, which invites you to linger, is particularly impressive. From the outside, the whole property looks like a Texas ranch, which creates a special atmosphere. The atmosphere was cozy and the service was friendly and attentive. We'll definitely be back! Highly Recommended!

The restaurant's atmosphere is very good. However, the food is very simple and the quantity served is insufficient. Furthermore, the waiting time was over 40 minutes, which is quite inconvenient. One star for food.

We were there for brunch. Everything was good, everything was delicious, but next time only for breakfast, since brunch is honestly a bit too expensive for the little more that is on offer. Unfortunately, even normal coffee is not included in the price.

We have been here twice in the last 14 days on our holiday trip from the south to the Baltic Sea and once enjoyed the breakfast buffet and the food from the menu. The food was delicious, the service was friendly and the atmosphere in the restaurant was very nice. Unfortunately, this does not apply to the sanitary area. Both times it was in a catastrophic condition. Visually as well as smells. We don't understand how this blatant disparity is tolerated by the operator and obviously accepted by the guests. Since no indications were given in the other recessions. It's a shame actually...

Been coming here for years, but only for the sambal cream. The service is okay and the food is edible. Unfortunately, something is always missing from every meal. No matter whether it was mayo or something else... I've never seen a meal that was complete. The toilets are apparently clean but smell so much like urine that you would think that the scented sticks were bought with the smell of urine. When we complained, we were only offered a discount. I don't think anything will change here. A pity.

Food (including burgers, schnitzel) was good. Nice atmosphere. From a family perspective, a play area/space would be desirable. Value for money for the food is okay, but 0.75 liters of mineral water for at least €7.40 (as of 7/24) leaves a mixed impression and is well above what we have paid in comparable locations recently. Overall it was good, and the courteous service was particularly positive. Children's meals and certain drinks (apple juice spritzer for €2.70) are not shown on the menu on site, but are clearly visible online. Therefore, the tip for families is to find out about the relevant options online beforehand. For electric car drivers, the charging stations right next to the restaurant are also worth mentioning (Tesla Supercharger).

Ambiance is reminiscent of American restaurants. The bowls we ate tasted almost like nothing. My wife picked out the few pieces of vegetables, luckily I ordered falafel with it, so there was some taste in the mouth. Half went back to the kitchen. 🤷 The answer from service was that he wouldn't order that here either. 😉 We're not fans of McDonald's and BK, but I think it actually tastes better there.😁 That was nothing, once and never again 🙆

The toilets (women's and men's) were so dirty and unclean that I didn't use them (men's)! The waiter was friendly. The brunch buffet matched the toilets, not acceptable. The price: 2 coffees 2x brunch 49€. Never again!!! You have to give one star to post.

Ambience quite good but I ate the baked mini potatoes with shrimp. Unfortunately the potatoes were more than done and so were the shrimp. Unfortunately not convinced for the price-performance ratio with the few shrimps!

After 15 minutes of waiting, a service person came and asked what drinks we wanted. According to the drinks menu, the raspberry pomegranate iced tea I ordered was supposed to contain blackberries. Unfortunately none. Taking the food order took a good 15 minutes after receiving the drinks. We ordered two burgers with fries. The portion size was quite small. My portion of sweet potato fries was a laughing stock at a price of €5.90 in addition to the burger. In addition, both types of fries were only lukewarm. However, since we had already had to wait a long time and if we had complained, the burger would have been completely cold or already eaten, so we said so when we cleared it away. Employee reaction: Ok next time we'll try them hot. The crowning finale was going to the toilet… There was toilet paper stuck to the sink in several places (probably used for drying) and there was a bad, unpleasant smell in the entire toilet area. The men's toilet didn't look any better. The floor was full of water and the tile that covered a urinal (was probably defective) flew around on the ground. My conclusion: In my opinion, the service and the quality of the food have deteriorated significantly. We won't be visiting again anytime soon.

Mine the worst break we've ever taken. I do not know where to start. We order two loaded fries and a salad and fries for the kids. The dishes arrived with a 20-minute time difference, so that the first ones were already ready when the others received their food. Then the fries were really a joke, according to the menu I had fries with humus, but the humus was more of a sauce and very little. The lemon mayo was completely missing. When asked, the answer was that the dish was fine and only after a long, unpleasant discussion was the plate taken back into the kitchen and returned, slightly changed. Meanwhile the fries were cold. The second frieze was also amazing, for a price of 10 euros. And unfortunately it continued like that - the staff ignored us. This is the first review I have written in my life for everyone reading this. Please never go there.

The dishes are affordable at first glance, but the portions are very small, so it's quite expensive overall, as you're unlikely to get full from just one main course. The drinks also seemed way too expensive to me. The ambience is nice, but you can hear a lot of noise from the street outside - so overall it's pretty mediocre.

Unfortunately we weren't very happy with the food. Unfortunately, the schnitzel had a lot of semen and was therefore not good in terms of quality and good to eat. The cocktails were filled with ice to the top, which made the cocktails watery very quickly. Service also brought us the cards very late. Unfortunately the visit didn't convince us.

I think the Café del Sol in Göttingen is actually quite nice, but unfortunately we had the problem again and again that something was delivered incorrectly or not at all. If you get the right food, what you ordered, it usually tastes pretty good. You can tell from the service that most of them are quite inexperienced in the business and don't yet have an overview to see which guests have a concern. The interior is quite standard.

That was nothing, but let's start at the beginning. You have to wait until you are assigned a place. No problem, except that the two waiters still had to finish their meeting and we stood in the room like a stupid comment. Anyway, we got a seat and ordered a salad and a pinsa. The salad came, the pinsa didn't. Wait Wait Fifteen minutes later the Pinsa arrived, but both were probably ready at the same time because the Pinsa was cold. I complain and the waiter doesn't believe me and checks the temperature of the food with his fingers several times. Then he says he'll warm it up again. I thought it was stupid now... Short discussion, boss comes, I get a new Pinsa. It's hot, so far ok, I didn't like it. Lettuce and carrots on top, chicken and teriyaki sauce from the bottle. Well, you can argue about the taste, it just wasn't mine, but the salad was good. Conclusion: I don't need it again

We went to Café del Sol for the first time today. From the first moment we were amazed by the atmosphere. The service was also very nice, although quite forgetful when it came to delivering the ordered food – free of charge. However, what we were served exceeded all civilized expectations. The at least appetizing-looking “Pinsa Tonno Mediterran”, a kind of rectangular pizza: almost tasteless. The “Thai curry bowl with wok vegetables”: completely devoid of any taste – with a rather strange presentation. In fact, we were served an unidentifiable slush that had nothing, absolutely nothing, to do with the promise of the menu. The devil knows where the advertised “red Thai curry sauce” was; or was it missing as completely as the roasted sesame? The crowning glory, however, was the “fried chicken breast strips,” which were subject to a surcharge and were dangerously reminiscent of slippery offal. This ensemble can hardly be worded any other way. The waiter, who occasionally inquired about our satisfaction and then heard the criticism described above in a friendly tone, responded with a curt “Oh”. What should he have answered? Anyway, he got a tip. However, we reluctantly paid for the meal. Our conclusion as not particularly demanding gourmands, please take it as a warning to everyone: never again Café del Sol. In this context, it is a complete mystery to us where the numerous extremely positive reviews for this “restaurant” come from…

I really enjoy going to Café del Sol in Göttingen. The service is always great and people ask at pleasant intervals if everything is OK. The cocktails and dishes are seasonal. Sometimes a bit expensive, so a star deduction for the food. Otherwise absolutely recommended. 👍👍👍

New Tesla Supercharger V4 up to 1,000V! A bit of a rocky impression. The building needs a new coat of paint. Good location to the highway. We sat for 10 minutes. at the counter, no bartender was interested in us. Next time we'll try the Timberjack.
