The ribs I ate fell off the bone and the fries were delicious. I would order again. Minus point for the flickering LED above our seat, it makes you balla balla.😉

“Schnitzel del Sol” and a “burger dish”: It hasn't been a bad 08/15 meal for a long time. The side salad was either of poor quality or from the day before, the schnitzel was ready-made, ... "We were very concerned about the meal afterwards." In addition, the service was superficial, but it specifically pointed out the tip button when paying by card. The place wasn't overly crowded but it was very loud. Old cobwebs on the ceiling are probably part of the decoration? From our point of view, no recommendation.

Unfortunately the burger was lukewarm, side salad with dressing from the bottle, the schnitzel was run of the mill. Apart from the ambience, some chip shops are much better. Unfortunately only 1 star. It's a shame, I know it a little differently.

Here you can meet up with friends and spend a nice day or evening. The service was attentive and friendly. The price-performance ratio is good.

We had a little something to eat there today with small children, our children explored the restaurant, we were then asked by the service staff that we should please stop the children from doing this, otherwise the waiter could walk around them. We understand the security aspect behind it. However, it is not the case that children are not given a lobby; they are neither given preferential treatment when they order fries (the waiting time was a good 45 minutes) nor is there any opportunity to play. I think it's a shame that there are still so few restaurants where parents can relax and eat/drink.

Had Caesar salad, lava cake, iced tea and cappuccino. Everything was very good. Food came quickly.

Hello I have to make a complaint. I had breakfast with you in Göttingen today with my wife. It really wasn't anything else you can say. 2x breakfast and scrambled eggs. The scrambled eggs were totally soggy and we asked the service to please fry them again. It was defiantly brought into the kitchen and 2 minutes later it was back. The same consistency just completely picked apart. It looked like it had been handled with a fork but not fried so I just brought it back to the table. The service had seen that we hadn't touched the scrambled eggs anymore, but just to ask if everything was OK, they simply walked past us a few times without even looking at us. Of course, when I paid, the scrambled eggs were still there and again no demand. We paid for the scrambled eggs even though they weren't edible for us. Even the criticism that it was nothing was simply dismissed and said that the chef had been there for years and that it was always like that. We had to contradict that because we go there often but this time was definitely the last time. I just can't accept something so unfriendly and you won't see me there for breakfast again. I can't recommend it either, it's a shame how it went and totally incomprehensible how you can treat guests like that. I'm extremely annoyed that I actually paid for it.

*New toilet seats and toilet brushes have made their way into the Café del Sol Göttingen (it took a long time 🫠 But at least it's business and for that you get one more star. We were very happy that we got a place without a reservation. 👍 Service was very friendly😊Drinks and food came to the table quickly. The only thing that really, really bothered me was the toilets. First of all, there is an unpleasant smell in the anteroom. The toilet seats are damaged and some of them are no longer firmly attached to the toilet. The toilet brushes really did the rest for me. They urgently need to be replaced 🙊 I have no idea how long they've been there, but definitely too long. Regardless, the location needs a thorough renovation. But the toilet brushes and glasses could now also be replaced. 👍 I hope that these things were exchanged on the next visit. Until then, all the best to you and see you next time ✌️

We were there on December 23rd. for breakfast a la carte with two small children there. We waited almost an hour for our food, even though it was very busy. Furthermore, we hardly received any service. The food was very little and not particularly tasty. Price/performance was not appropriate. In my opinion, the evening meals and lunches have declined in recent years, but the breakfast was subpar and I will avoid it in the future.

Rarely have we experienced something so bad! We had dinner with 5 people. Order taken...the first meal was ok, 15 minutes later the 2nd, 3rd and 4th! The reason why the 5th meal wasn't included was that there was no more room on the tray! After a while someone had to get up to ask where the food was!!!!!!! Oops...forgot! But this happened about 10 minutes later! The service was awfully bad but the food didn't make up for it! Fries cold, salad already completely brown! Schnitzel from the deep fryer! The prices for something like this are completely exaggerated. Never again...just cruel

Total disaster. Champion sauce gives my son diarrhea, I didn't have it, just cartilage in the meat, the fries 🍟 were inedible, raw and not properly fried. NOT EDIBLE THIS food, not worth a cent, I paid 49.00 for the bin. Greetings, they got lost there.

Service was very nice. The ambience is also very nice but I don't understand why you pay €6.70 for 300-400 ml of iced tea. Yes, everything has become more expensive and you have to adjust your costs, but this is completely disproportionate. I find it particularly bold that milliliters are given for all other drinks, except for the iced tea.

Visited today for brunch. Unfortunately I was seriously disappointed. Scrambled eggs burnt, waffles had no powdered sugar and chocolate sauce, the rest was fine. The service had very dirty shoes, dropped cutlery and food when clearing it up and simply left it lying there. It was only cleared away the second time after 30 minutes. Toilets dirty with cobwebs. Tequila Sunrise for €9.20 tastes like pure orange juice. When asked if you could have a little more tequila, you were told only if you paid extra. If you want to drink overpriced juice, this is the place for you.

The food was super tasty, I had the chili cheese burger with fries. Good taste, right portion size. The staff were all attentive and very friendly. The only downside is the train station hall feeling; since the ceilings are so high, it gets very loud in this building.

We had booked a table for brunch. We were warmly welcomed and shown to the table. The buffet offers something for everyone, salad, sausage, cheese, fish, eggs in different variations, in the warm area, schnitzel, fish, poultry... If you don't find anything there, you won't find anything anywhere. Drinks were delivered quickly, all in all a nice Sunday meal

Jägerschnitzel for €18.90 I don't actually have a problem with it, but two small pressed meat schnitzels, that's where it gets a little absurd again. Then at least take smaller plates, then they won't look so lost. Service good and very friendly

The quality of the food in no way justifies the price of the buffet. Too sweet, too muddy with the desserts, too unimaginative. 25 euros for two cups of coffee and breakfast is too expensive. I could have eaten more, I just didn't like it. However, tastes differ.

Food was ok. The “schnitzel vacation” campaign is not recommended. The first schnitzel was good. Then some kind of molded meat can be used. We were not informed about this. We gave this back. Schnitzel 3 was turkey again. Schnitzel 4 was again a molded schnitzel... again weighed down. Ordered something new... in between the shift manager came and explained to us that this was normal, that you would only get the shaped schnitzel as a second helping and that the kitchen wouldn't find it tasty either... We were then made to wait for 20 minutes. We then decided to pay and leave the restaurant. All in all not recommended...

I was there for the first time. Because of numerous recommendations, I was very excited. I really liked the visual impression of the location. We had reserved a table for 6 people and the seating assignment worked without any problems. The first drink was served after a short wait and a quick food order was urged due to a longer wait (30 minutes was announced, which I actually think is totally okay). However, the food only came after more than an hour and was served without cutlery. When asked, they said they would send a colleague straight away. We practiced patience and ate the already cold fries with our fingers. Since the colleague with the cutlery was still not there, we tried again ourselves and, after some discussions with the service staff, were finally able to eat our now almost cold food. The food itself was very tasty, although unfortunately too cold. The replenishment of drinks also left a lot to be desired. It's a shame, I had imagined the evening differently.

Over an hour wait for the food. Schnitzel offer was not well communicated. Some dishes were no longer available - no bowls, no pasta, no turkey schnitzel. Re-ordering schnitzel offer only after several attempts due to circumstances - time for re-ordering 30 minutes. Quality of meat not good. I also had to wait 30 minutes for my drink. The table wasn't cleared for a long time. The mood of the service staff was noticeably bad. Unfortunately not recommended.

Friendly staff. Unfortunately, some desserts were no longer available that Sunday, but the service staff tried very hard and was able to offer alternatives. They were also very friendly when dealing with children and were able to show alternatives to spicier foods when my son wanted less suitable foods.

Unfortunately it was so full that the food didn't go well. We were a larger group and it was not possible to get the first course and the main course one after the other. Some of the food was cold. A pulled burger should go back and the very unfriendly service person loudly explained that it is always cold and that he only takes it back when the bun or fries are cold. It's a shame that the unfriendliness was so noticeable that it won't entice us to visit again.

What can I say, I feel comfortable when I'm there

First of all: We used to go to Del Sol regularly. Now we were there again after a long time... Schnitzel del Sol 19€! Wow, what a price. I know everything is getting more expensive but how much is that for a portion? At such a price you don't expect a few fries and a small schnitzel. Service is otherwise nice as always and the ambience remained the same. We won't be coming back for a while - it's a shame! In the picture I haven't touched any fries yet.

You pay €11 for a chicken burger here. What do you get for it? A very thin, tasteless molded meat frozen patty; Cheap lettuce and tomatoes, where warm tap water is an absolute taste explosion. Wrapped in a sad bun. But hey, at least the sauce was okay. Service made an effort, but confused "water with lemon" with "lemonade", which had previously been fundamentally denied. Ambience was good, there are two swings. A total of €30 per person, then you'd rather have a fast food chain or even a 3-week-old pork knuckle from Na Tanke.

The breakfast was really nothing special for the price. There were 2 types of rolls to choose from, the croissants tasted baked. The sausage platter was nothing special and didn't look quite as appetizing, the same was the cheese platter. The fruit platter wasn't refilled either. I know the breakfast is okay from 9 to 12 we were there at 10 and there were only the leftovers and I think with a price of almost 14 euros per person everyone should have the opportunity to get a selection.

We went for breakfast brunch on Saturday. You can't complain about the selection or taste, but we weren't at all satisfied with the service. Although surprisingly there wasn't much going on on a Saturday morning, the staff hadn't even put the plates away. I also had to wait almost 20 minutes to pay, even though we let us know.

American ambience and architecture in the Pampas.

We spontaneously went to Cafe del Sol in Göttingen and were pleasantly surprised! The food was simply excellent. My girlfriend had the Chili Cheese Burger and I had the Schnitzel del Sol - both were incredibly tasty and perfectly prepared. We have rarely eaten so well. The ambience, both inside and outside, is perfectly coordinated. The huge terrace, which invites you to linger, is particularly impressive. From the outside, the whole property looks like a Texas ranch, which creates a special atmosphere. The atmosphere was cozy and the service was friendly and attentive. We'll definitely be back! Highly Recommended!

The restaurant's atmosphere is very good. However, the food is very simple and the quantity served is insufficient. Furthermore, the waiting time was over 40 minutes, which is quite inconvenient. One star for food.

Been coming here for years, but only for the sambal cream. The service is okay and the food is edible. Unfortunately, something is always missing from every meal. No matter whether it was mayo or something else... I've never seen a meal that was complete. The toilets are apparently clean but smell so much like urine that you would think that the scented sticks were bought with the smell of urine. When we complained, we were only offered a discount. I don't think anything will change here. A pity.

Overall it was good, and the courteous service was particularly positive. Children's meals and certain drinks (apple juice spritzer for €2.70) are not shown on the menu on site, but are clearly visible online. Therefore, the tip for families is to find out about the relevant options online beforehand. For electric car drivers, the charging stations right next to the restaurant are also worth mentioning (Tesla Supercharger).
