My husband and I celebrated our anniversary and wanted a nice evening, but unfortunately, we were disappointed. The ambiance was okay, but the service was pushy and they wanted our order after just 30 seconds. Sadly, the food was a complete disappointment: For starters, my husband and I ordered the venison carpaccio, which was completely ruined by the excessive amount of sauce. All the other flavor nuances one would expect from game were either completely masked or nonexistent. The bread served was mediocre at best and tasted no better than supermarket bread. For my main course, I had the beef kofta, which tasted of absolutely nothing. My husband's flank steak was also very bland, and the accompanying broccoli was already cold. We were then charged €120 for such a meal, which was completely overpriced for what we received. My husband is a trained chef, and he was appalled. Impressive ambience. The food and cuisine are strictly conceived. Little room for individual preferences. Guests are elegantly integrated into the restaurant's principles. The value for money is marginal (bottle of water €8.90). The wine was convincing, but the price didn't allow for anything else. Professional service, which begins by explaining the restaurant's philosophy to guests. Overall, a thoughtful experience.

We visited today, and it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The restaurant is quaint and cozy, with an open kitchen so you can watch the show cooking. The service was excellent: short wait times, very friendly and attentive staff. I was particularly impressed by the fact that my ketogenic diet was taken seriously – they really considered which ingredients were suitable and which could be easily substituted. The food was excellent: We shared a fresh romaine lettuce for starters, followed by salmon with fennel and yogurt (I could opt out of the potatoes). For dessert, they even spontaneously put together a matching yogurt and berries dessert for me – a great extra service. The price-performance ratio is good mid-range: not cheap, but absolutely reasonable for the quality. A clear recommendation – we would definitely come back!

The atmosphere is nice and the food was okay, but the portions were too small for the price, and it wasn't a culinary highlight either. The service was friendly. There was a wrinkled carpet on the floor, which we tripped over when we sat down. I paid €10 for a bottle of still water, and then there was the €8 parking fee. When I asked, I was told the garage was only leased. That's a deal breaker for me. The price-performance ratio is absolutely not right. I won't be going there again.

Delicious pizza and lovely atmosphere. Also very nice staff. This would be a 5 star place. I have to give -2 stars for the expensive and not too great tasting menu. We were hoping for excellence but it just wasn't for us. Some dishes arrived at fridge temperature. The sardine salad tomatoes had greens still attached. The first three dishes consisted mainly of chickpeas. Some of the seasonings were too strong for us. We'll be back for the excellent pizza though! 🍕

The ambiance of the restaurant is truly lovely – unfortunately, the service couldn't match it. After just two minutes, while we were still engrossed in the menu, we were asked if we had decided yet. In contrast, no one responded to our numerous attempts to get the wait staff's attention by raising their hands to pay. Several waiters stood at the counter chatting instead of attending to the customers. The pizza, which was supposed to be topped with truffles on request – the ingredient was listed as such on the menu – was disappointing: no truffles, not even truffle oil, but instead an excessive amount of olive oil, which gave my husband a night of heartburn. As a "generous" gesture, the extra charge for the truffle oil was waived – but then there wasn't any on the pizza anyway. Three out of four people in our group experienced severe stomach pains during and after the meal. Everyone had ordered Neapolitan pizza, but the crust wasn't typically fluffy, but rather dense and hard to digest. When we finally went to the counter to pay, we had to wait another ten minutes as the employee disappeared with the voucher to be redeemed and then helped with the hotel check-in. Compared to the rest of us, our outrage over the €6 parking fee was minor.

Great food! The pastilla and the lamb were exceptionally good. The service was first-class.

A very nice restaurant with high-quality food and wine. We shared the Chef's Menu for two (€69 per person, excluding drinks) and were delighted with the five courses. Unfortunately, parking in the underground garage is not included, which is to be expected given the price.

Stylish, cozy restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere - also for families. Rich brunch buffet and a menu with egg dishes and lactose-free alternatives. 35 EUR per person excluding alcoholic drinks. Our children (3 and 6) ate for free. Barrier-free, bright underground car park directly below the hotel. Only the poached eggs should be freshly prepared (ours were hard and cold).

We usually visit the restaurant once a quarter, especially for the excellent appetizers (arctic char, beetroot carpaccio, etc.) and the Neapolitan pizza. Admittedly, it's not cheap, but good craftsmanship never is. What's absolutely unacceptable, however, is the quality of the service—and has been since the restaurant opened.

Each pizza is a work of art and tastes simply delicious. The service is warm, the atmosphere cozy, and the wine selection excellent. A place I will definitely return to again and again. Highly recommended!

Das Essen war sehr gut! Der Service war ok. Leider war ein paar Tische weiter eine recht laute Gesellschaft… Was aber recht ärgerlich war: wir hatten eine verhältnismäßig hohe Rechnung zu zahlen und haben dafür auch ein ordentliches Trinkgeld gegeben. Der Kellner hat sich allerdings noch nicht einmal bedankt, worüber wir doch etwas erstaunt waren! Das hat dem Abend einen unschönen Ausklang gegeben. Schade!

Very tasty and unusual Italian and Eastern food. Were here in the last 2 days and are impressed with the cuisine, we were particularly impressed by the Moroccan specialties. The wine selection is very good and the grappa is also recommended. Tried the map across the bed. The breakfast buffet offered the usual but also a few more unusual selections. The pizza (Diavola) in the evening was very tasty, but the pasta with truffles is an absolute recommendation. Nice atmosphere and really nice and courteous staff. Even if the prices are a little higher than usual elsewhere, you get the feeling that you are getting high quality food and a wonderful time for the money invested. Gladly again.

Es war ein fanatischer Abend mit einem ausgesprochen überdurchschnittlichen Service. Es gab tolle Getränkeempfehlungen zu den Speisen. Ein besonderer Abend in einem besonderen Ambiente!

I'll just describe what we were able to experience for €35 per person, so everyone can form their own opinion. When you arrive, wait in line for 15 minutes to be assigned a table. The only waitress clears the table and sets new things at the same time. A hotel guest complains that he has to wait 45 minutes before he gets a table. Three out of four bread baskets are empty, with only the ends of the bread left. There are exactly four types of sausage, very fatty cooked ham, raw ham and two types of salami. Ordering fried eggs or other extras works very well. It's great when you're offered canned fruit, which was the case here. All in all, the buffet was clearly cleared by 10:45 a.m. All the employees were extremely friendly! However, it seemed like there was no proper planning, a huge rush. What I am describing here was confirmed to us by the neighboring tables. Unfortunately the price/performance ratio doesn't match here.

Ich schildere einfach einmal, was wir für 35€ pro Person erleben durften, dann kann sich jeder ein eigenes Bild machen. Bei der Ankunft 15 Minuten in der Schlange stehen, bis man einen Tisch zugewiesen bekommt. Die einzige Bedienung dafür räumt gleichzeitig noch den Tisch ab, und deckt neu ein. Ein Hotelgast beschwert sich drüber das Er 45 Minuten warten muss, bevor Er einen Tisch erhält. Drei von vier Brötchenkörbe sind leer, bei dem Brot, liegen nur noch die enden. Es gibt genau vier Sorten Wurst, sehr fettigen Kochschinken, Rohen Schinken und zwei Sorten Salami. Die Bestellung von Spiegeleiern oder anderen Extras funktioniert sehr gut. Gipfel tut es, wenn man Dosenobst angeboten bekommt, was hier der Fall war. Alles in allem war das Büffet um 10:45 Uhr deutlich abgeräumt. Alle Mitarbeiter waren ausgesprochen freundlich! Jedoch machte es den Anschein, als gäbe es keine richtige Planung, ein Riesengewusel. Was ich hier beschreibe, wurde uns von den Nachbartischen genau so bestätigt. Hier passt Preis Leistung leider nicht.

I'd give this place a big fat zero if I could because my polite request to arrange a birthday dessert [very simple one — their dessert from the menu with a candle or a writing on a plate] for my husband's birthday was boldly rejected. We booked our dinner at this place in advance, we stay in the hotel "Freigeist" as guests yet the male manager called Max was very insensitive and even rude, saying "No" to a very simple request. Plus, adding they have too many customers as we, are not their customers. Wow! Terrible or a lack of any sense of hospitality whatsoever.

The pizza is excellent and all the other dishes are fantastic too. Personally, I love the Moroccan influences in the kitchen and the presence of sophisticated Italian recipes. We always enjoy coming back and can only warmly recommend this restaurant.🥰

Wir sind schon oft hier gewesen, aber gestern war die Qualität des Essens nicht so super. Noch gefrorene Brötchen und verschrumpelte Tomaten am Buffet beispielsweise. Der Service war wieder toll! Ich bin beruflich seit 35 Jahren unterwegs. Kenne viele Hotels Restaurants und kann da so einiges gut vergleichen und beurteilen. Die Location ist echt Super, sehr nette und freundliche Bedienung. Experimentieren Italienische mit orientalischer Küche. Nur leider passen Einige Kombinationen einfach nicht zusammen. Z.B. Vitello Tonato ohne Tonato Geschmack hat wenig Sinn. Die Pizza sieht sehr gut aus und schmeckt ok. Etwas weniger Tomatensoße und mehr „Salz“ würden ihm gut tun. Das traurigste ist dabei immer die Preisleistung. 16€ für eine Margarita ist einfach etwas to much. Es ist auch sehr Schade das im das im Angesicht der heutigen politischen Lage typische Arabische Produkte als „Israelisch“ präsentiert und verkauft wird.

Es war schnell alles leer. Das nachfüllen hat sehr lange gedauert. Qualität der Speisen sehr gut, aber wenig Alternativen (z,B. Vegan, für Schwangere). Wenig Auswahl

Das Ambiente ist schön, die Auswahl der enthaltenen Getränke gut und vielfältig. Was an Wurst + Käse angeboten wird, ist sehr überschaubar. Ein kleines Holzbrett mit Käse (kein Scheibenkäse), was leider auch nicht wieder aufgefüllt wurde. Die Brötchen sind zwar mal was anderes, uns haben sie nicht besonders geschmeckt. "Normale" Brötchen gab es nicht. Für die Anzahl der Gäste ist die Theke mit den Speisen recht klein, so dass man z.T. länger ansteht. Die Parkgebühren in der Tiefgarage sind recht hoch (8 € für ca 3 Stunden)

Pizza schwamm in Tomatensauce, daher durchweicht, Belag (Ricotta, Rosmarinschinken) sehr geschmacklos, das ganze für 19,50. Vorspeise, ein buntes Beete- Carpaccio mit Joghurtdressing war sehr bitter vom Geschmack, von der Portion extrem überschaubar und mit 17,- Euro extrem überteuert. Wein war gut, Service völlig in Ordnung, sehr bemüht und freundlich. Für mich wird es definitiv keine Wiederholung geben..Schade, da ich auch schon mal sehr gut gegessen habe. Aber bei diesen großen qualitativen Unterschieden ist mir das Risiko zu groß..Adieu

Last Friday I was with my partner in the East of Italy in Göttingen. We were served by an extremely friendly staff member who was not only very knowledgeable about wines, but also recommended a traditional Moroccan dish - pastilla. Unfortunately we only had it as a starter as the pastilla made according to his recipe was really outstanding! That's why we hope that it will continue to be part of the excellent menu in the future!

We ordered the Chef's Choice and were pleasantly surprised. The combination of different dishes/food was fantastic and the taste was fireworks. The service is very friendly, you receive very professional advice and your wishes are taken into account. Fraternizing duzeritis characterizes the service. The food is good, the atmosphere is great. All in all average.

The main courses are served on breakfast plates and the sizes are accordingly. Despite the impressive prices, you couldn't get enough. The taste was bland, my Parmigiana was simply half an eggplant with tomato sauce and grated cheese on top, although the grated cheese wasn't even really melted and therefore tasted completely floury (I know Parmigiana a little differently...). The service is more hip than friendly/attentive.

Alles super, nur die begrenzte Zeit finden wir nicht schön

The restaurant is very chic and modernly furnished, which we really like the way it looks. The cuisine combines Levantine cuisine with Italian cuisine, which is actually quite cool. The concept is that you either share a lot of food and put it in the middle or take it individually for yourself. We opted for individual and had the cauliflower, pasta and a pizza as our main course. In terms of portion sizes, it was very clear. First we had beetroot carpaccio, and at the end we had 2 desserts and 2 espressos. It was tasty, but really expensive for the small portions. Even if several people share different dishes, that doesn't change the portion size. The staff was super friendly and patiently explained everything. We also had a bottle of wine and a soda and paid 154 euros for everything. A few hours later we were up in the rooftop bar and enjoyed 3 gin and tonics with a view of Göttingen. But I found the price of 43 euros to be a bit expensive.

Das essen war gut und die Küche hat sich auch um eine Vegane alternative bemüht. Leider wurden die Getränke nicht schnell nachgeliefert und es war auch kein Focus darauf gelegt, dieses im Blick zu behalten. Bei den Preisen erwarte ich das der Service einfach 100% den Gast im Blick hat.

Ein rundum schönes Erlebnis gekrönt von einem gelungenen Abschluss in der Bar.

Das Buffet ist gut sortiert und reichlich. Die Bedienung sehr angenehm nicht aufdringlich und immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es ist keine Hektik zu sehen und hören, also angenehm ruhig im Raum. Wir werden sicherlich wieder kommen.

Pizza and service excellent - gladly again.

Very good breakfast, even if the price of €35 seems intimidating at first. But there are very high quality side dishes such as roast beef and fresh passion fruit. Drinks such as water, juice and coffee specialties are included in the price, which makes the price seem attractive again! Many freshly made egg dishes that can be ordered according to the menu round off the offer. The only point of criticism is the heavy and difficult-to-grip lids on the bacon, scrambled eggs and boiled eggs. But changing this should be easy.

Super toll! Gehe jedes Mal gerne hin…besonders nett ist das Leckerchen für unseren Hund. Nur die Parkkosten sind viel zu hoch. Kundenfreundlich wäre es sie abzuschaffen.

Außergewöhnliche leckere kulinarische Küche. Die Speisen haben wir untereinander geteilt, somit kam jeder von uns in den Genuss die vielfalt unserer Auswahl zu probieren und zu genießen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, kommen gerne wieder.

Wir haben uns insgesamt wohl gefühlt. Insbesondere die Ausstattung und das Design der Räume ist ansprechend und sehenswert. Zu bemängeln ist die Einstellung des Kaffeeautomaten beim Espresso. Hier hatte man das Gefühl dass lediglich Kaffee in der Tasse war. Zuviel und keine Crema.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend in tollem Ambiente. Uns hat die offene Küche sehr gefallen, dadurch konnte man sehen, wie viel Mühe sich gegeben wird. Der Service war toll und zuvorkommend. Wir haben mit 2 Personen das Chef choice Menü genommen und haben es trotz des hohen Preises von 65€ pro Person nicht bereut. Es ist eine ganz tolle Speisenauswahl und es hat uns alles wunderbar geschmeckt! Die Getränke sind ziemlich teuer. Je Aperitif ca. 15€ ist schon sehr hochpreisig. Wir kommen trotzdem gerne wieder!
