I was there with a friend and we had two very nice waitresses. We ate the pinsa, which I highly recommend.

My husband was very disappointed. He ordered the Schnitzel Del Sol with fries and mayonnaise. Unfortunately, for that price, it was an industrially produced schnitzel—unacceptable! The salad was brown and missing the mayonnaise. My husband spoke to the server about the salad and the schnitzel. He said he couldn't do anything about the schnitzel; that's just how it is. But for the inedible salad, we would have appreciated a small compensation, like half price for a drink. We only noticed the missing mayonnaise when we got home. In short, this restaurant is not for us!

Today I received a cold burger for the third time. Furthermore, special requests, such as ordering without tomatoes due to an allergy, were ignored. The first two times I thought it was just a one-off, but when three out of four meals are wrong, it's quite concerning. The compensation of free coffee and a chocolate was okay, but it didn't make up for the lack of service. I'm done with them.

I went with my German friend and it was really beautiful and everything was great.

We now always stop here for dinner whenever we drive to Sweden. We can always walk in without a reservation. The food is reasonably priced, and the staff is always friendly!

Plenty of space, ideal for larger groups. 180 seats outside and about 200 inside. The pinsas are simply delicious and highly recommended. The service is extremely friendly and helpful. We'll be back. We also tried the schnitzel and burgers again this time, which were also absolutely delicious. We also had tomato soup as a starter (be careful, it's hot). Thanks for the lovely evening.

Unfortunately, our visit to Café del Sol was very disappointing. We ordered three schnitzels – all of which were of poor quality, dry, and tasteless. The fries were completely oversalted and barely edible. The service was particularly disappointing: the staff were unfriendly and unhelpful, even though the restaurant was almost empty at 5:30 pm. Overall, it was an unpleasant experience – we certainly won't be returning.

Overall, absolutely fantastic! The samba sauce is the best in the world and reason enough to come back again and again.

I ordered schnitzel with sweet potato fries and mushroom sauce. The schnitzel was rather small. It was basically just a lot of breading and nothing else. The sweet potato fries were nicely crispy but almost tasteless; they weren't worth the extra cost. The mushroom sauce was simply outrageous; it was a tiny amount and didn't even cover half the schnitzel. The accompanying salad was tasty, but there were brown spots, as if it hadn't been freshly prepared. For dessert, I had lava cake with vanilla ice cream. Absolutely terrible! The lava cake was neither hot (or even warm) nor liquid, and it was missing the advertised crispy topping. The main courses seem to be okay, but the dessert is awful.

It's nicely furnished and a cozy place to stay. The "Schnitzelurlaub" (all-you-can-eat schnitzel) is recommended if you're hungry.

We had a truly wonderful experience there. Top-notch service and really good food! Personally, I found the music a bit too loud, but it became less noticeable as the evening progressed. 👍🏼 Definitely worth another visit.

We ate dinner here for the first time in a long while. Our table was reserved in advance, and since there were six of us, we were seated at a round table. That was good. The server came quite quickly and took our drink order. Later, another server came, brought the drinks, and took our food order. Yet another server then brought the food. The portions, mainly burgers, were rather small. Unfortunately, some of the patties were overcooked and therefore dry. For the price, we found the quality and service unconvincing. Our dessert order was then taken by yet another server and brought incomplete. In short: It's not what it used to be. Sadly. The ambiance and atmosphere are more like a train station. The price/performance ratio is just so-so. We certainly won't be visiting again for a while.

Amazing deal! You book a table in advance and drive all the way from Denmark. No reservation, the staff are completely unmotivated and couldn't care less about regular customers. Go to Steak and More instead. I was truly shocked by how bad the service and customer service were!

Unfortunately, the food was simply not good and we had to wait an eternity for our meal.

We just waited 50 minutes for our burgers - when I asked, they arrived five minutes later, but somehow with less toppings than usual... It's not a big deal if something gets lost, but not even commenting on it or offering a brief apology is pretty uncool, in my opinion.

The service has improved – recently it's been very good. The food is also delicious.

The burgers are bone dry. The burger bread is cold, and the rest of the food is more or less carelessly prepared. The fries aren't tasty either. Far too expensive for significantly underwhelming service. Edit: The service team asked me if it tasted good. My "No!" was ignored. So, it doesn't matter if it tastes good.

I can't say anything really positive about the shop, only negative ones, like there were bugs crawling around or you say that you have an allergy to tomatoes, why do they serve a burger with tomatoes, then you say again that you have an allergy to them, what do you do, only the tomato is taken away and the burger was cold, never again

Unfortunately, we were disappointed today. The female waitress (A.) was very unfriendly, reacted annoyed, and rolled her eyes when orders took a moment. Twice an order was forgotten, and everything was served very hectically and carelessly. The food was okay, but it could have been better; the pinsa was very hard. We were at Cafe Del Sol this week and wanted to take advantage of the schnitzel holiday offer. The all-you-can-eat offer is often heavily advertised, but turned out to be a disappointment for us. The first schnitzel arrived and it was fantastic. Very tasty, crispy, and thick. When we then ordered a second round, we were extremely disappointed. We had been told in advance that the portions would be smaller with each round, but there was no mention of cheap frozen goods being used. There was no mention of fresh and crispy goods at all. We were served a limp piece of pressed meat. A far cry from the taste and appearance of the first round and the consistency of a shoe sole. Even if you know nothing about meat or gastronomy, you could see with the naked eye that this was the cheap version, just by looking at it, even before you took the first bite. The staff were consistently very friendly. When we asked if the schnitzel had run out and we were eating the reserve, or if there were differences in quality from round to round, the answer was that this "actually" couldn't be true. No, we thought that this couldn't and shouldn't be true, which is why we asked. I was really disappointed. Especially about the fact that we were taken for fools. I don't need to go out to expensive restaurants for schnitzel like this. I can just pop a Tilman's Toastie in the toaster at home. No more schnitzel vacations or quick trips to Cafe Del Sol for us.

Something for everyone; friendly staff 🌻

We were satisfied with the food, but the quality of the products was average. The prices, however, were appropriately priced and not too high. Nevertheless, we can't complain and were very satisfied! The staff member (Merle?) was our highlight of the evening! With such incredibly friendly, humorous, and positive people, you can't help but come back! A big compliment to the service staff, who were all very friendly and competent! We will definitely be back.

For a restaurant chain, the atmosphere is very pleasant. The food is also delicious, and it's a great place to end the evening. Unfortunately, the wait times can sometimes be a bit long.

We'd like to extend special praise to our server, Rocco! He was incredibly friendly and attentive from start to finish. With his pleasant demeanor, he made us feel completely welcome—something we've been missing for a long time. I particularly appreciate that he asked at exactly the right moment if we wanted anything else, without ever seeming intrusive. Thanks to his positive attitude, he gave us a truly enjoyable evening. While we've had mixed feelings about this restaurant in the past, Rocco's service made all the difference today. Thanks to him, we were able to enjoy the evening to the fullest. A very nice, well-planned restaurant. It was our first time here. Huge selection of dishes, everything beautifully laid out and presented. Unfortunately, the vegetables were very oversalted. The very friendly staff responded immediately. We are very satisfied and will definitely come back.

What a shame! I was here for breakfast with my family a few weeks ago to celebrate my birthday. The service was excellent, very friendly, and always efficient. Unfortunately, the place was very empty throughout: no rolls, no scrambled eggs, and then almost everything was empty, so we barely had any breakfast and left hungry. I mentioned it when paying, but they let it go with a smile. It's a real shame, because what you could eat, with a lot of luck, was good. Unfortunately, the atmosphere was like that of a train station concourse, but that was known, so just a comment, not a criticism.

We sat outside today. There were only 12 guests in the entire restaurant at that time, including the 8 of us. The waitress came to us promptly and took our order, and our drinks arrived quickly and in full. The food then followed quickly and, unfortunately, was mostly incorrect. Wrong sauces, wrong side dishes, but this was quickly corrected after consultation. Unfortunately, the food was only mediocre throughout: the chicken wings were small and dry, the fries were completely oversalted, and the pasta dishes lacked flavor. In our opinion, it wasn't much better than good takeaway food. I simply expect better quality for the price. The burgers were OK, but nothing more. Overall, unfortunately, the food was just mediocre, which, despite the restaurant being almost completely full, was incorrect and expensive. We were there today with a group of 10 people to celebrate a milestone birthday. I had the schnitzel with mushrooms, fries, and a side salad. We had a really nice, sweet waitress who was happy to accommodate our requests. The shock (unfortunately) came with the food... Frozen schnitzel from the deep fryer, unseasoned fries (really just yellow, no salt, no seasoning at all), and a side salad with lettuce and a halved cherry tomato. No attention to detail or anything else at all, a real shame about the great location. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT.

Once again, we enjoyed the fantastic breakfast buffet on Saturday morning. A wonderful start to our vacation. It makes you wonder if you're only going to Denmark to enjoy the breakfast buffet there. 😜 Booking a table during the travel season is recommended. This year, we decided to avoid the travel chaos and headed north on a Monday. The only downside was that there was no brunch or breakfast buffet at Café de Sol. So we opted for the "All Summer Long" breakfast (drinks not included). Everything was great, a great start to our vacation. The service was very friendly, as always.

Nice service, great atmosphere, but the price-performance ratio is absolutely out of whack! A double espresso macchiato for almost €7 is simply not up to date. There are better places where the prices are justified by the view or location. Maybe that's also the reason why there's nothing going on there anymore, which is a shame. ...with these prices, you'll think twice! Where you can just have an espresso.

The food doesn't taste good. The burgers are frozen. I would have been better off eating at McDonald's. At least the burgers are freshly made there and the staff is friendly. The lasagna was also extremely oily and runny, so I couldn't finish it.

**Restaurant Review – Good Service, but Unfriendly Shift Manager** The food was delicious, and Emily's service was very good – she was friendly, attentive, and really made an effort. Unfortunately, the positive impression was marred by the shift manager. The reason was: the hot dishes were only temporarily refilled for an hour. He was notified several times. His interactions with guests were unfriendly and almost disrespectful. Such rude behavior has no place in the restaurant industry and is detrimental to the restaurant. It's a shame, because otherwise the visit was okay. I would visit the restaurant again because of the friendly service, but if the shift manager continues to be so rude, I can't recommend it. There is definitely room for improvement here!

I spontaneously stopped by for dinner today while waiting for my car service at Audi. I didn't have a reservation and was seated right away. The food was great, didn't take long to arrive, and tasted delicious. The team was also very friendly and took good care of me! I'd be happy to come back :)

The food was okay, but nothing more. Some of the ingredients were cheap and the taste was unspectacular in most dishes.

I had a Caesar salad, and most of the leaves were brown. I mentioned it, and there was no response other than to let the kitchen know...I couldn't even eat half of my salad. I had to pay the full price.

The atmosphere is pleasant, quiet, and cozy. It's a shame that breakfast is no longer available at 11:30 a.m. – at least, that's what I heard from the waitress. My dish was unfortunately too salty.

Café Del Sol in Flensburg is always a solid choice! I was particularly impressed by the "Schnitzel del Sol" – perfectly prepared, juicy, and with a crispy coating. A highlight is the "Schnitzel Holiday" promotion, which offers a fantastic selection of creative schnitzel variations – there's truly something for every taste. The ample on-site parking also makes a visit completely stress-free. The relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff perfectly round out the experience. You simply feel at home here and enjoy every dish to the fullest.

We spontaneously went there late yesterday afternoon (Friday, June 6th). There were still plenty of seats available. We started with a baguette with aioli – incredibly delicious. Then we had schnitzel with mushroom sauce, fries, and a small salad – it was incredibly tasty and plentiful. The atmosphere is incredibly cozy ❗️ The staff is super attentive and friendly. We really enjoyed it there. The other guests' dishes looked really good too. We'll definitely be back...photos to follow 😅

The wait times for food aren't fair when you see what's on your plate. It's also loud and expensive, and not a particularly pleasant place to be. The great thing, though, is that you can park for free at the Fördepark almost next door.

A really family friendly place with a cozy atmosphere and reasonable prices. The food is delicious, especially the schnitzel with potatoes and mushroom sauce I can really recommend. The staff is nice, and it's a good place to go with both children and friends.

We're regulars at Café del Sol. That's thanks to the great ambiance, whether inside or outside, and the friendly and very attentive waitresses. The food has always been mediocre. However, in my opinion, this is compensated for by the relaxed atmosphere. Nevertheless, I probably won't be coming back for a while. On Sunday, I confirmed once again: don't order a salad. The price-performance ratio is almost zero. The fries were wobbly and therefore more lukewarm than warm. The burger was so-so..... I would say that the quality of the food is absolutely not up to scratch. As I said, we're regulars here and have ordered everything. Best choice: Pinsa! That should definitely improve. I won't be back for at least a year, so hopefully I won't be disappointed again.

The staff is nice and friendly. However, there's no reason to eat at this restaurant! Burger King is across the street, and it's definitely better! The schnitzel (frozen) was ruined in the hairdryer, and the potato dish with salad was inedible and had to be returned. The owner was present, but not available to speak. Definitely not recommended.

Friendly, happy atmosphere, Then the sun rises. During weekday afternoons, it's easy to get a seat and the entertainment is unrestricted. On busy weekends it can be difficult to communicate. But when the weather is good there are plenty of places outside, with a cozy torchlight atmosphere in the evenings.

Schnitzel was a bit very thin and small. And when I drive almost 800 km to Flensburg and then get a beer from Hesse, that's really macabre. Why not beer from the beautiful north? For example Flensburg. It would be an option. Otherwise top service very good👍

Went there for brunch for the first time, the people were all very nice and friendly. I wish there was more choice of food, but there was very little. But otherwise everything was great, I can highly recommend it!!!

Unfortunately, it wasn't a great experience. We were at your place for brunch on Easter Monday. The drink order was taken quickly by the waitress “Kiki”. The second star for service is only because of their friendly service. She was super nice and competent. For her alone 5/5 top The buffet is the reason for the bad rating. There were just a lot of dishes empty. I can understand that with dishes that take some time to prepare, but not with cheese and sausage platters. They have to be prepared in the kitchen and just be pushed in. That was very, very annoying. Unfortunately, scrambled eggs, bacon and other dishes were often not available. Essential things, such as cutlery, were also sometimes out of place. In my opinion, these are things that simply shouldn't happen. The payment was unproblematic.

The waitress is at the counter the whole time, chatting heartily with her colleagues. I had ordered another wine but that's not so important. I looked for a long time until she remembered how she saw me. I shouted from the table that I no longer wanted to pay. That wasn't that interesting so we got up to pay. Unfortunately I didn't want a bill otherwise I would have seen that she had charged the wine and an extra €1. So the tip we usually give if the service is good. And not flippant. But the food was delicious.

However, I would like to say one thing: your friendly and customer-oriented behavior saved our evening and didn't let us take a bad impression home with us. Very large, relaxed atmosphere, very good food

“Absolute disaster! My partner and I decided on a 'salad', which was a decent price at almost €16 - and what did we get? A few green leaves and a ridiculous 100g of chicken. No love, no extras, nothing that would somehow justify the price. When we brought this up politely, we were stared at non-stop as we ate and it was obvious that we were being talked about. We have rarely had such an unpleasant feeling in a restaurant. For that price we would have gotten a decent menu somewhere else – never again!”

We wanted to enjoy a nice meal together for my friend's 18th birthday, but we weren't expecting this meal. The food was already cooled down to room temperature when we got it. The food was served without any real topics, but the service was nice. Not recommended.

The fish was good. You can do it. But I prefer to cook at home and cheaper.
