Restaurant Reiskorn in Flensburg

Hotpot isn't what you'd expect, more like a pot of chicken soup in front of you. Sushi on a conveyor belt. It was very quiet in the shop on a Saturday evening during that time, but the owner is trying really hard. But the concept isn't catching on in Flensburg.

The sushi wasn't fresh, and the fried spring rolls were completely cold. The hot pot consisted mainly of noodles. At €19.90 per person, we don't think the value for money is reasonable. Therefore, we won't be visiting the restaurant again.

Hello my dears, Unfortunately, we were there between 12 and 2 p.m. Unfortunately, they didn't have a large selection of sushi and dessert, even though there were only three of us and no other guests. It's a shame, since the place has a good reputation. Perhaps we were there at the wrong time.

We were there for lunch and had a buffet with hot pot. 2 for adults and 1 for a child. The menu says: Lunch buffet 15.50 p.p. Child 8.90. But it doesn't mention that the hot pot costs extra. We paid over 60 euros, which is an absolute disgrace! Okay, the food was fresh, but that was it! There was little food selection on the conveyor belt. While my child and I were still eating, the waitress was already clearing everything away. We felt like they were trying to get rid of us quickly. My husband paid and wanted to take the receipt. Unfortunately, the receipt was given out hesitantly, which my husband found odd. When we got home, we realized we had overpaid. Today I was there and wanted to get our money back. No chance. The owner didn't approach us at all and showed no understanding. It's worth noting that the hot pot costs extra at lunch. So, you can't get a lunch buffet for €15.50. We feel ripped off! It's €10.80, after all! We definitely won't be coming back!

Two of us were there on a Wednesday at 1 p.m., and the selection wasn't appropriate for the time and price. We left the meal early because the same old thing kept coming around and nothing new was offered.

Ville ønske jeg havde læst alle de frygtelige anmeldelser her på siden, inden vi satte os derind til en omgang running sushi. Uappetitlig mad. De samme stykker sushi (hvis man kan kalde det det) kørte rundt på båndet, og der var udelukkende urimaki’er med dårlige råvarer og ris, der mest af alt havde konsistens af grødris. Det der var mest af var lunkne nuggets, forårsruller - begge dele lavet fra frost. Den suppe de servere smagte dårligere end kop nudler. Vi var lige så sultne da vi tog fra stedet, som da vi ankom. Desuden fløj der fluer rundt i maden. Vi undrede os over hvordan stedet ikke er blevet lukket for længst.

The experience could be potentially “new” and “funny” but definitely not worth anything. The quality is very bad, there’s no choice and the food very poor. We were also forced into leaving as the choices for the sushi were not there (the running line was the same for 20 minutes). We were just curious to try something new but definitely don’t go here

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE PLEASE For 18€, the value was extremely poor. We were served only a few small pieces of vegetables and rice. The sushi selection was minimal and underwhelming. To make matters worse, we were subtly pressured to leave while we were still waiting for more sushi. It became pretty clear that no additional items were going to be prepared or served.

The quality of the ingredients are doubtful : - sushi rice for a curry, overcooked, - chicken with a weird texture, - curry sauce seems to be industrial, - raw mushroom. I have my doubts it is even homemade, so far I hardly ever had such a bad experience in a restaurant, to the point I’ve found a hair in the plate…

Very price friendly running sushi. However the quality matches the price so do not expect to see much fish or indeed fish of quality. No nigiri in the running sushi so had to convert to the a la carte menu. At the price around 3 stars. Compared to a real sushi restaurant I would not even give one star, however that comparison would be unfair.

A very dubious establishment with a very small selection of dishes. More like a scam. The bill for two people with drinks is 38 €. Expensive. There is no Asian atmosphere. The service is intrusive. The rolls are not carefully prepared, the taste is neutral.

Mold and hair on the dessert. The food itself was delicious, but the mold wasn't necessary. The waiter took it down and put it back on our table as if we hadn't already noticed. But they were very nice people nonetheless.

Good running sushi with hot pot.

Everything was great and tasted good, the staff is friendly... only one thing is very, very bad, if you've been sitting there for a long time eating something like 45-1 hour and you just eat slowly, enjoy the food and spend a nice day with your family, it's all quite good... only now the problem is we sat there for an hour or so with other guests but suddenly no food appears for 15 minutes. And we are confused and waiting all the time and nothing comes so we decided to just pay and leave. After we are on the way out and new guests come in, everything is suddenly refilled and new food arrives... and that ruined the whole day because we just wanted to have a nice day with our family like all the other guests there but then they suddenly don't want to bring any more food, which is very weak and needs to be changed, which is why I only give it 2.5-3 stars and nothing more! If this weren't the case, I would give it 4.5-4.7 stars...

NOT recommended! The place is cozy, but the selection is really bad and very boring. Since we arrived, the same food has been going around and around on the conveyor belt for over an hour, and new food was rarely put out. The sushi had almost no filling, just rice, and only 3 different types of sushi rolls were going around. The staff is nice, but in terms of taste and selection, it's definitely not something to recommend. Not a place we Would come again🫤

Fast delivery and super friendly! It's probably ok for sushi but for our food (especially the sweet/sour sauce) it's really bad unfortunately..Wouldn't order again for warm dishes..

Evening menu is simply underground in terms of price/performance ratio. Sushi has little to do with sushi, if you get one at all, the hot pot is unfortunately really not that good either. Wasn't expecting excellent or expensive sushi on the conveyor belt, but this was just bad. I wouldn't even order it for half the price. It's better to invest a few euros more and eat good sushi

A very nice, extremely cheap little restaurant with running sushi. The staff was very friendly. Everything was fresh and with all-you-can-eat sushi for €15.50, in my opinion you can't expect master sushi with a top selection. Price-performance ratio is completely fine. Absolute recommendation.

Sushi and all sorts of Asian dishes, as well as small desserts from the assembly line. Buffet price here means eating as many plates as you want until the conveyor belt is empty or you are full. There is always an opportunity for each table to create their own soup, with meat, which is also included in the price. You can feed a lot of people here for little money, drinks are exclusive. A la carte is also possible and tastes great, and financially also super fair. A great shop.

Four of us spontaneously stopped by this evening and were served very friendly and extensively. Everyone chose the running sushi, plus soup and other delicacies. For our “sushi grouch” we have specially fried noodles with vegetables and meat. It tasted great and we were more than full. In the end, the delicious woodruff jelly or a piece of cheesecake barely fit in. We are happy to recommend the restaurant because of its great price-performance ratio.

I've been here three times, but this is definitely the last time. The ambience is simple, you sit on beer benches, the table was very sticky to touch. Apart from us, only one table was occupied, Saturday at 6:30 p.m. The treadmill was only sparsely occupied with goods. The service was very friendly. We got drinks, she put the raw meat in the soup that comes with running sushi and simmered it on mobile stoves at the table... we took the first few plates from the conveyor belt. We shared a plate of fried food, which was ok. The sushi rolls I took on it really irritated me. If I make sushi at home and it comes out a little too much, I put it in the fridge. However, they are then hardly edible anymore, the rice always dries out so that it becomes hard. The rolls on the plate here were many times harder than after 24 hours at home, I couldn't chew the rice, it was so hard. That really surprised and shocked me. The rolls from the second plate were just as hard. The crab chips that my child took on it could no longer be broken - they could only be bent. Anyone who cleaned up a party the day after and ate from chip bowls that were left outside overnight knows what I mean... I found it very shocking how long the food here has apparently been in rotation... especially when raw fish is potentially added.

I tried it today and unfortunately I have to say it's not for me. Great for real fans, very friendly and competent staff, but as I said, unfortunately not my cup of tea.

Very nice sushi restaurant. The two of us chose the evening buffet and were very satisfied. Of course, it cannot be compared with a conventional all-you-can-eat, as it is based more on sushi and soup. The sushi runs steadily past you on a conveyor belt. This was also very tasty. There were also various sauces, desserts and small baked dishes. The service was very friendly, quick and reliable. The atmosphere was also very pleasant. The toilets were very clean, nothing was missing. We'd love to come back.

Good morning, I was at the Reiskorn restaurant for the first time today. It started with the fact that the service staff unfortunately barely spoke German, which led to the first misunderstandings. The food was ok, but there were very few vegetarian options. Furthermore, the place was very sticky and you didn't want to take any of the dishes for dessert because the walls were smeared with some dark stains. Unfortunately, it was an experience that I could have done without and it was simply too expensive.

It was very tasty, the owner was absolutely friendly and the portions were very generous! Good food at a reasonable price!

We always enjoy coming to Reiskorn to eat sushi, whether it's lunch or dinner (then the hot pot is also offered) Sushi and Co. are always freshly prepared. Nice little restaurant with a conveyor belt in the middle and tables around it.

Sushi rice is also used for warm dishes, which doesn't go well with the dish because of the vinegar :(

There is absolutely little selection of running sushi and not what you would expect. Complete rip-off for what you get and really doesn't taste good. No wonder no one is sitting inside.

We were there on a Sunday at lunchtime and paid €20 per person for the buffet. paid. The food was good, but nothing special. A selection of sushi, ready-made spring rolls, croquettes, gyoza, is definitely fresher and more varied. HotPot was more of a chicken soup and didn't have much to do with the actual thing. For dessert there was only Jell-O (Woodruff). Rather mediocre for the price. Satisfactory, but okay. The service was very friendly. Card payment not possible!

Unfortunately I have to say, the food here is neither sushi nor hotpot, but rather just a trap for tourists. Card payment not possible and no real change.

The food was not fresh and after 15 minutes they stopped putting out anything new. When we asked them to put more they would only put one roll which was mainly rice and barely any fish . “All you can eat” is false advertising. They do not take cards and forced us to go to 2 separate atms to get cash as the first was out of service. And a glass of water (from the tap) costs €3,50. Very rude service and an unpleasant experience all around.

We ordered on March 15th Hot pot and tofu in Thai curry with vegetables. Hot Pot: - Broth was ok until the waitress quickly put the entire contents of the plate (fish and meat) into the pot. It is usual to add the meat or vegetables into the pot yourself as desired. The waitress came with the plate, tried very badly to explain what it was and while she was talking she put everything in the pot. Afterwards the broth smelled very strange and not tasty. The tofu dish:- there were 5 thin and almost hollow approx. 7 mm small smoked tofu cubes. Not good in taste. The bamboo was also not (properly) boiled and therefore had a typical taste that you don't like to eat. Rice and vegetables with the sauce were fine. However, you only have to pay 9.50 for a little rice and vegetables is clearly too much. When I asked the owner that it might be better to use a different quality of tofu, he said: We have always done it that way. The selection of suhsi on the rolling conveyor consisted only of assorted makis, prawn chips, chicken, brokoli, seaweed salad, ginger and wasabi paste Makis are quite inferior and taste-wise... you don't have to have them again. Conclusion: More show for some students/tourists and for people with non-demanding tastes. It's a shame we didn't read the recessions beforehand. We won't recommend it

The following does not apply to hot pot or running sushi!!!! I was there for lunch and wanted a plated meal. It was quick and I received friendly service - but I was also the only one in the store. The food came quickly, but unfortunately it didn't taste good at all. It even smelled so bad that I wasn't sure whether I should continue eating it - I ultimately decided against eating it, even though I'm not sensitive to things like that and don't like throwing food away or letting it go back. Unfortunately I can't give a good rating here.

Unfortunately, the store has slacked off a lot. We were there at 12 p.m. for all you can eat sushi. At first we were unsure whether the visit was worth it, the price of the food was absolutely okay, but the taste was a bit bland. One dish with peanut sauce was missing; all other sauces were spicy but somehow floury. The service is a bit intrusive, without giving the signal, we were asked 3 times within 5 minutes if we were ready to order. The ambience is okay, but it was very cold in the restaurant. Generally not recommended to eat here.

My favorite Asian restaurant. Hotpot, plus food in small plates right next to a dog. I love a buffet without getting up. Otherwise, the price of the rice grain is extremely reasonable for the items on the buffet. Sushi for just under €17 is unbeatable as far as I can see. In addition, the small restaurant is run with love and is accordingly well maintained.

The duck was tough. So much glutamate in the food that I felt really, really bad.

I've always been quite enthusiastic about the rice grains, but unfortunately the running sushi is hardly filled up when there aren't enough people... everything had already been going through for at least 60 minutes. Just things that no one wanted to eat. Of course everything was eaten with salmon. Despite frequent checks from service, nothing new came! We left after 30 minutes. I'd rather order something for myself. For the hot pot... just kept it simple, we just threw everything including the cod in the pot. Phew I hate cod 😅 everything tasted fishy

Hot pot tastes good. Very tasty vegetable broth. It sits on an induction plate so you can always reheat. But it's loud. The cooling of it is annoying. And I think the sushi on the treadmill is only moderately good.

Kann man gut mal machen...Essen kommt über Laufband und man bedient sich einfach an dem was man möchte

Es tut uns sehr leid, aber den Fisch haben wir im Sushi fast vergebens gesucht. Zwar waren wir zur Ladenöffnung um 12h dort, trotzdem sollte man denken, dass man ein vollständiges Buffet zur Verfügung hat. Teilweise war der Reis bereits etwas trocken und hart. Für 14,50/Per. war es uns zu teuer. Auf Rückfrage gab es doch noch 2 Tellernden mit frischem Sushi mit Lachs. Für den Preis können wir die gebotene Qualität leider nicht weiterempfehlen.

Von der Idee her gut als Running Sushi, jedoch viel zu viel rohes Gemüse, da scheinbar die Wok-/Kochvariante wenig genutzt wird (am Fließband fahren Tellerchen mit rohen Gemüse herum). Wenn Sushi, dann nur Maki artig mit Krebsfleisch oder Gemüse, selten Lachs. Muss man selbst wissen ob man dorthin geht.🤷

Super freundliche Bedienung und leckeres Essen

We visited Reiskorn at lunchtime and only another party of 3 was there when we arrived. At first we were not impressed with the selection of the items of the running sushi. But woah, did they up the ante as soon as we were seated and had our refreshing sodas. And the pricing is very ok for what you get. I wonder how much better it would have been, if we had had dinner there, with probably more guests. Conclusion: Not bad at all, good prices, recommended!

Essen war ok, aber für "Running Sushi' zu wenig Auswahl bei dem Preis.

Ich bin hin und her gerissen. Fangen wir einmal mit dem positiven an: Das Sushi war, wenn man mich fragt, sehr lecker. Gerade für 18.50€ möchte ich mich da keineswegs beschweren. Auch die Suppe, die man am eigenen Tisch zubereiten kann, habe ich als positives Erlebnis wahrgenommen. Der Nachtisch war sehr lecker. Dann kommt aber auch schon das negative : Leider haben ich und meine Begleitung, die Dame die dort arbeitet, als recht übergriffig empfunden. Ich denke, das es ihrerseits nur nett gemeint war und vielleicht sogar mit ihrer Kultur zutun hatte. Nur leider kam es bei uns nicht so gut an, da man sich fast schon unwohl fühlte, als sie in Richtung unseres Tisches kam. Leider war auch mein Sushi noch von innen gefroren (wahrscheinlich der Lachs). Da auch die Zutaten für die Suppe auf dem Laufband ausliegen, ist nach wenigen Runden leider kein Sushi mehr darauf und es dauert auch recht lang, bis neues sushi nach gebracht wird. Alles in allem war es ein ganz nettes Restaurant aber ich denke, da ist noch eine Menge Platz und Potential nach oben.

Das Restaurant ist sehr schön, die Mitarbeiter sind nett und das Essen ist auch gut. Nichts zu beklagen, kann ich echt empfehlen.

Alles frisch, alles lecker, zur Sushi-Auswahl eine Art Ramen am Tisch der nach Belieben zubereitet werden konnte. Für 18,90€ all you can eat bin ich komplett zu Frieden. Klasse Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis!

Sehr freundliche Bedienung. Vielleicht gibt es besseres Sushi, schmeckt aber gut und die Kombination aus Hot Pot und Sushi am laufenden Band macht schon Spaß. Auch für Vegetarier geeignet.

Wir gehen da eigentlich wirklich gerne etwas Essen aber wenn man den Hotpot nimmt sollte man pro Person sich den bestellen. Habe das Gefühl das man dort mit diesem ganz schön über den Tisch gezogen wird.

Running “sushi” uden fisk. Mere running deepfried. “Sushistykker” med tomat, agurk og mango. Spurgte om det var muligt med nogle stykker med fisk på båndet fik vi at vide at der ville gå 5 min. Kom aldrig. Tog kontanter… 🤔 Ved afregning sagde at der var lidt skidt. Fik at vide at jeg bare kunne købe a la carte hvis jeg ville have med fisk. ALERT! TURISTFÆLDE ALERT!

Virkelig ringe sushi. Spild af penge. Sød betjening. Tager ikke kort. Kommer aldrig igen. Der var ikke sushi med fisk. Hahaha

We had the buffet dinner which is sushi and the hotspot. Not much variaties for the sushi. Meat about 10-12 pieces on that small sushi place ro start for the hotpot. I guess the owner just wants his customers to be satisfied with a small plate of Meat. No one came to ask us whether We wanted another plate. When We finally got hold of him, He made a face like Why the hell are We asking for 1 more plate. First plate consists of about 4 Shrimps, 3 small fishes, 2-3 Chicken and not even 3 pieces of beef. 2nd plate only 2-3 fishes 3 Shrimps and 2 Chicken, That’s it. We always give tips at any restaurants in Germany even If the food sucks but have friendly owners or great food but extremely unfriendly owners. This time, it’s Both and we gave 40 euro for the 39.40. Guess He wasn’t Happy as his face showed and not a word of Thanks. Never again will I come here to this place again and should had read the comments here before even thinking of trying out this place.

Do not go there, there is no real sushi at lunch! - the sushi was rolled and formed with a steam drum and there was hardly no fish at all, most rolls consisted of dry chicken, cucumber or bell peper!! - the best deal was the prawn chips....

We have been there both before and now also after the pandemic and I can only say that they have gotten better! They have expanded their variety so they now have more to pick from. They also added a plate of meat to the table along side the running veggies. They are very friendly and helpfull and I am so happy they did not close down in the pandemic😍 And besides all the lovely fods such as veggies, fried food and sushi they also have delicious cheesecake that I love. Also their german have improved 😅
