We were with you last night, but unfortunately, after 6 hours, we vomited the whole night. We ordered rodizio, unfortunately.

Four of us were there. We all had rodizio. The atmosphere was very pleasant and the staff very attentive. We had a very funny waitress. Thank you for the entertaining evening. The meat selection was excellent, and both of them also tasted delicious. We'd be happy to go again.

The breakfast buffet is good, plentiful, and always replenished promptly. We've seen it differently there, too; the service is friendly and very accommodating. However, we don't find it particularly child-friendly. The last time we were there for breakfast was on December 25, 2024, they said the changing table was broken, and today there was no changing facility for us either, so we were forced to change on a bench in the restaurant—no privacy! An absolute no-go. In the women's restrooms, you can only use two of the four stalls, as the locking latches have been missing there since Christmas 2024. I wonder how it's possible that nothing has been done about it during this time. It's a real shame.

Unfortunately, it was disappointing – more than promised than delivered. We had chosen the large buffet with meat skewers (beef, pork, lamb, poultry). However, only beef and pork were served – despite requests, nothing came. Side dishes such as bread, dips, or sauces were also not brought, despite announcements. The buffet (especially potato gratin) quickly emptied and was not refilled. Drinks were only served upon request, after the third course of meat, even though they were included. We would have liked more, but only managed to have three drinks due to the length of time served, as no one seemed to care. After 40 minutes, the man with the meat skewers didn't come either, even though you're allowed two hours to eat. Incidentally, he slammed the meat carelessly onto our plates. The only positive: an honest, young server who openly dealt with the overwork. Overall, unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it – hence two stars.

Worst service indifferent staff moved on to a better place

Everything was really great, friendly, fast and really very, very good.

Unfortunately, yesterday was absolutely terrible. The buffet was constantly empty, some of the beef was raw. There was no poultry at all, and the spare ribs were burnt. Fries were only brought out twice in almost two hours, and everyone got five. The staff didn't respond to inquiries either. It used to be really delicious with good service, but we won't be coming back.

We ate here a few days ago. Very friendly staff and very accommodating, which unfortunately only deserves 4 stars for one thing, but more on that later. First, we were served a welcome from the kitchen: bread with garlic and oil. The food arrived very quickly after ordering, taking less than 15 minutes. The food itself was very good and tasty. The burger was excellent, and the bread was also very good, not very big, but perfect for kids. The steaks were cooked as requested and were OK in terms of size/weight. What we noticed was that the meat didn't seem to be tempered, as it was still ice cold inside, which was a shame. The side dishes, such as onions and mushrooms, were very tasty. The steak fries were also OK. What wasn't good was the open potato. It was watery on the inside and already had germs inside. When we asked about this, we were told that this was a known problem and that it was probably the supplier's fault. In my opinion, it's a no-go. If I know the product isn't OK, I won't sell it again, even if it was actively advertised at the next table. That's completely unacceptable in our opinion. Overall, the visit was good, but we wouldn't eat here again. The atmosphere is very nice.

I visited Cabana Rodizio with other people on July 18, 2025, around 6 p.m. I ordered a Sprite to drink and a CR cheeseburger to eat. The service was good overall. While the staff wasn't overly friendly, they were attentive, quick, and always made sure everything was to our liking. The service left me with a good feeling overall. The food was also really good. The bread and dip made a good starter. Even though the Sprite tasted a bit bland, the burger was all the better. The patty was nice and juicy and flavorful. The other components of the beautifully presented burger were also fresh. Nevertheless, the burger was a bit heavy to eat and often fell apart. The fries were crispy and well-salted. I still felt like the food was missing that certain something. Apart from that, I think €17.80 for the burger and the amount is really expensive. The price of the Sprite is probably reasonable considering today's circumstances. The ambiance itself is very cozy and "Brazilian." However, it would be even more comfortable if the noise pollution, including the loud ringing in the kitchen, were reduced. Conversations are possible with a few more guests in the restaurant, but they can be tiring. Overall, the restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

Kiel war eines unserer Tagesausflüge während des Sommerurlaubes mit den Teens an der Ostsee, daher waren wir ziemlich ausgehungert auf der Suche nach einem ganz besonderen Ausklang des Abends. Und hier wurden wir nicht enttäuscht. Die Preise sind günstig, Das Essen ausgesprochen lecker, Der Service unschlagbar gut, das Ambiente geschmackvoll eingerichtet und die Wartezeit auf die Bestellung, so gut wie nicht vorhanden. Nur eins bleibt mir negativ anzumerken.... Ihr seid zu weit weg von Koblenz.

Some of the meat was still too raw, and some side dishes like rice, beans, and fries only came upon request. The ribs were practically overcooked, and there wasn't much meat left. The cold buffet doesn't have a particularly large selection. The crab in batter was no longer available or even available as a choice. I used to love it, but this time it wasn't really good. The price was significantly too high.

Regarding the food, we can say that everything was very good. We went there three times during Kiel Week and found a place for a short break. Regarding the rodizio, the quality and service were okay, but the succession of individual skewers was simply too quick. You couldn't really enjoy it because the refills came much too quickly one after the other. One complaint was that the restrooms either had no paper, toilet paper, or even hand-drying paper. In the women's restroom, two of the four restrooms couldn't be locked because the latch was missing. The surroundings of a restaurant should also be just right.

The food was overall good. 4 of us we order T-Bone Steak and including the drinks we spend more than 60€ each. The service of the waiter was very poor. He just came to pick up and bring the order. He never came back to ask if we enjoy the dinner, to offer more drinks, to offer a dessert, and not even to collect the plates after we finish to eat. Than we needed to search for him to ask for the bill. In my opiniom for the money that we spent the service should be a bit better. The bar waiter on the other hand was very friendly and nice. For her a give rate 5 🌟s. Disappointed.

It was our first time there, and I have to say it was really delicious, but what bothered me a bit was that not everyone is like that 😊 I prefer my meat well done. Several times I was unlucky because I was sitting in a stupid position and had more raw meat from the skewer 🙆‍♀️ so I preferred to wait a while and hope I got a slice 😅 but otherwise the atmosphere and waiters were very friendly. We definitely rolled out 😁👍🏻👍🏻

We had a reservation for Whit Monday. We liked the ambiance; there were lots of little decorative touches. The service was quick and brought the drinks; the mojito was amazing. First, we got bread and two dips 😋. We then decided on the rodizio and got everything on the menu. The freshly grilled meat, cut from the spit, was very good (you could remove it with tweezers), and it was hot and delicious. The service was very attentive; neither the plates nor the glasses were empty for long. For dessert, I had ice cream with hot raspberries. All in all, a clear recommendation. You'll not only be full and satisfied, but you'll also be able to count it as an experience 👍🏼. Many thanks to the team.

I've eaten at Cabana Rodizio several times now. The weekend breakfast buffet is really great! There's something for everyone, like salmon, scrambled eggs, sausages, various types of bread and rolls, cold cuts, and many varieties of cheese. However, the food outside of breakfast leaves a lot to be desired! As a rodizio, due to the low number of guests, the skewers are served VERY frequently. Namely, with sausages, wings, and spare ribs. You have to ignore the – actually lavish – side dish buffet, as you're practically fattened up with the skewers. Unfortunately, the 'good' stuff (fillet, etc.) only comes out when you can't eat any more... The restaurant is definitely NOT recommended à la carte. The steaks were NEVER cooked to the desired degree. It was always overcooked: medium rare requested, medium to well-done. All other requests were always served 'well-done'. And the fact that the requested steak is no longer available on a Saturday afternoon leaves management with doubts. (Keyword: ordering) Unfortunately, with the exception of the breakfast visits, all the others were more or less disappointing. The restaurant has real potential due to its location and ambiance. It's often the staff's fault, especially in the kitchen.

A place where it's really worth going, very courteous staff and super delicious food

I've eaten at Cabana Rodizio several times and still love it, even though my dish wasn't great the last time I was there - this time we were there with eight people and I tried something different. The first three times we ate there this year were all great. This time (April 25) it was more of a 4+ (everything was fine for me and the rest of the group). Contrary to my order, my club steak was medium-rare, well-done and therefore not edible. Nevertheless, I will go there again, even if more often at this rate.

We wanted to enjoy Rodizio with you last Saturday. We had reserved a table for this. Friendly welcome, nice table, drinks and instruction promptly. Then the same skewer twice, a baked banana in the middle (with no way to ward it off), then over-salted roast beef with over-salted mushroom and onion vegetables... that was it. Then no one came to offer anything. No poultry, no entrecote, no chorizon... nothing! Around 8 p.m. (the restaurant was still packed) the dessert fridge was empty... far, far too expensive. Maybe you should consider an internship at Pathera/HH or Hacienda/Jesteburg?!? In any case, we won't be visiting the cabana again.

We ordered the all you can eat. The meat somehow became rawer and saltier😅, but the buffet was great and so were the service staff.

We had reserved a table, the atmosphere was great and the people were quite friendly. Unfortunately we didn't know that the buffet ends at 9 p.m., which means we got the food in a hurry and at some point it was over. Later we found the reason on the map. Unfortunately we didn't have this information. Otherwise it was fine. The quality was good and the price would have been okay if you had had more time.

2 stars for the nice service and twice the amount of the free starter (fresh bread with aioli) upon request. So now I come to the food I ordered, which is called “Dry Aged”. First, I'll start in general. If I had never eaten a dry aged burger in my life, I would never do it again from this point on. It is really unreasonable to sell the customer this long-standing process culture with the maturation process and keeping the meat dry. Since, thank God, I'm used to a much better standard, but I was looking for the centrality of your location as an excuse, it's my own fault!! What do you expect from Kiel... I recommend you go to other big cities and take a look around there. The dry aged beef has to melt in your mouth, that's what's special about it, but when I ate your poorest quality burger patty, I shuddered. How can you fry a piece of meat so lifelessly... it tasted like fat and hard chewing gum. If my esophagus wasn't wide enough, I think I would have choked!!! In addition, very poor ketchup and mayo packaged in small ready-made bags from the cheapest catering brands in front of me. You can expect a bit of quality!! That's why I know or rather strongly assume that if you mess with even the smallest things like sauces, why am I surprised that the quality of the preparation of the meat, which tasted like it was from an old milked cow!! On the whole you have a nice staff, but no specialist knowledge of qualified meat techniques (maybe do an internship in Argentina).

I have never experienced such poor and arrogant service! 2 different waiters see guests standing at the entrance to ask for a free table...both saw the guests, but they simply left the guests standing (even though the waiters had nothing to do at that moment). Then after a long wait we got a table. After 10 minutes still no waiter came to take at least one drink order. Then got up and left! Never there again!!!

Es werden speisen verwechselt,wenn man zahlen möchte,dann wird man vergessen oder vertröstet u dann doch vergessen,u es lässt manchmal an freundlichkeit nach. Ein tipp von mir an den inhaber,nehmt wieder wenn möglich mädels in den service,da kommen echt schon länger bei euch,und die waren immer aufmerksam,und verstanden ihren job sehr gut.

Some of the meat is very dry or almost raw. Without telling us, when we asked, we were told that unfortunately lamb was not available today. It's a shame we had hoped for more.

The restaurant looks very clean and cozy. We came with a group of 5 people and were served very quickly. However, our food was served very blandly/dry. The meat was okay but not particularly tender and didn't stand out in other respects. I wouldn't call it reaching for the toilet, but I won't recommend it to my friends.

Meat is tough and dry. 3 of 12 varieties of the carvery were okay, including chorizo ​​sausage and smoked pork. Definitely too expensive for run-of-the-mill meat.

Waited 45 minutes until the first skewer came. But it gets even better, we weren't brought or offered anything from pork just because we have black hair and a beard. Only after asking and getting stupid looks did the first skewer of pork arrive. But we were already tired of waiting. We will never enter this store again.

Wir waren hier mit der Firma zur Weihnachtsfeier. Wir waren leider etwas enttäuscht. Das Essen ist zwar sehr gut, aber die Atmosphäre ist wie in einer Kantine. Sehr laut und voll. Wer von vornherein nichts anderes erwartet und gerne „fleischlastig“ isst, ist hier gut aufgehoben. Die Gerichte sind frisch zubereitet und für den Preis voll in Ordnung. Wir mussten an 4 getrennten Tischen sitzen. Was an eine Art Massenabfertigung erinnert. Also ein gemütlicher Abend war es nicht.

Unfortunately, our Christmas party at Cabana Rodizio was a disappointment. The raw meat unsettled us all and spoiled our appetites. It's a shame, because I actually think the Rodizio concept is great. This urgently needs to be improved. Unfortunately, the hectic pace and sometimes unfriendliness of the service spoiled our Christmas party. I expected more attention and quality for an event like this.

Ate there as part of a Christmas party. Contrary to the query, the cheeseburger was not medium rare, but burnt. Flabby fries. Quite a high price level for that. Attentive service and nice atmosphere.

We have ordered the Rodizio twice and the service usually starts straight away. But we had to wait so long that we were really close to leaving again. We asked several times when it would start and we were told in the kitchen. In 45 minutes we got 2 small pieces of meat. And the mood is gone and we won't be coming back for a long time.

Restaurant very full - therefore very loud. Waiter very hectic. A meal that was ordered was not served as requested. It was changed following a complaint and a free drink was served as a gesture of goodwill. It is always advisable to reserve in advance.

I'm not sure why the rating is a bit low, but this place is very very good. Super cosy atmosphere! Interior and music. Very nice and competent staff. Super friendly, calm, smiling and polite. The food was okay, but when we paid we were given a €10 tip on the total bill. When we asked for an entertainment receipt, the price went back from the original €75 to €65.

Super delicious food. Traditional Brazilian rodizio. Great performance and serving of meat from the kitchen, which comes on skewers to the table. The waiter for drinks was unfortunately not flashy, as he took a long time to bring coke etc. and also put tip on the bill without asking first - absolute "no-go". Therefore, our little family had a bit of a mixed pleasure.

It was catastrophic. The waiter arrived at our table already sweating and hectic; there were over 10 of us. There was a ridiculous portion of fries with the burger, the quantities were completely different because several of us had burgers. Many dishes on the menu were not available, also very strange. Potato gratin was way too peppery and the potatoes in it were still raw. We told a waitress that she could do something about the bill. Spoiler, it was a lie. Instead, she claimed that we made it up ourselves. Mushrooms a la creme were also an absolute failure. There was nothing creamy there, just completely watery, the mushrooms from the can…. The meat was well fried and juicy. We waited a long time for the bill, when we finally got hold of the waiter, he threw the bill on the table and said he would come back straight away. But we wanted to split the bill, some wanted to pay in cash and some wanted to pay by card. When the waiter came back, he rolled his eyes when we didn't have the money ready. It visibly annoyed him that he had to calculate everything again at the table, especially since there was a complaint for a dish that was not addressed. We won't come back again.

A few years ago I gave this restaurant a 5 star review. But after several visits in the meantime, the picture has unfortunately changed drastically, which is why I feel compelled to write an updated review. Even though we had reserved a table in advance, we still had to wait about 15 minutes longer when we arrived because the restaurant was crowded and no table was immediately available. When a seat finally became available, we were allowed to sit down, but it took another 15 minutes for the table to be cleaned and another 15 minutes for our order to be taken. The usual table arrangements, such as bread and side dishes, were brought quickly, and the cold buffet was also available. However, the waiting time for the drinks left a lot to be desired - they only arrived after a long delay. Most of the staff seemed stressed, unfriendly and unprofessional, especially with the hot dishes such as the meat on the spit. The selection of dishes has reduced significantly, the cold buffet was partially empty and was not refilled for a long time. Previously valued types of meat such as boiled beef seem to have been completely removed from the offer, which we very much regretted. Another low point was the chorizo ​​sausage, which had the same taste and consistency as a normal grilled sausage, only with a hint of paprika. Finally, I regret to say that I have enjoyed visiting this restaurant in the past, but this visit will probably be my last. The prices - especially for drinks - are disproportionate to the quality offered and the poor service. For the same price or even less, you can have a much more pleasant evening elsewhere.

Unfortunately we didn’t try the specialty, but had burger and steak. The food was fine and tasted fresh. The service was a bit cold and could have been a bit more interactive. All in all, it was fine for a quick meal, in and out.

Our food was mixed: burgers were ok, fries were lukewarm, with the rump steak the baked potato was cold and you could tell that it had probably already had a few "thermal cycles" behind it. The service was grumpy, didn't know the drinks menu and to make matters worse, instead of the 200 gr. Rump steaks 300g. - Variant brought to the table. When we realized it was already too late - I mean: who weighs the rump steak at the table? The attempt at deception at the end with a drink that supposedly wasn't charged rounded off our bad impression. No recommendation for this restaurant - go to Peter Pane a few blocks away.

Unfortunately it was very busy that day and the noise level in the restaurant was correspondingly high! The drinks we ordered came after 45 minutes during the meal. The steak was delicious!!

Update: We loved coming here for the breakfast buffet. Until 2020: €9.90 pp during the week. From 2020: €12.50 during the week. 2022: €17.50 during the week. 2024: no more breakfast buffet during the week; on weekends €23.50. What a shame! ______________________________________ I've always loved coming here! Great ambience, decor, music, relaxed atmosphere. I come for breakfast brunch every now and then and it is very filling. The best thing is the employees: you rarely find such great and friendly service! :-)

The fried potatoes were fried too dark. They weren't allowed to do that be issued to the guest. The potato gratin was very little and also too dark. Not appetizing. The other dishes were good. There are seven of us in the cabana been. The waiter was very hectic. The empty plates were cleared away even though not everyone at the table was finished. This is unusual and caused additional unrest. We will come back and get another impression.

We have been coming to this restaurant for many years, but unfortunately the atmosphere and the service have deteriorated a lot. The food is very good!

It was a really disappointing game. Asked for a medium Rib-eye, and got one that was cooked completely dry. At least you know where not to go again.

First of all, the food itself is ok. It can be better but also worse. Unfortunately, the meat at Rodizio is often very raw, almost English, which is why this is not recommended. But above all, it's shocking that there isn't a decent vegetarian dish or dishes that don't ONLY contain meat. You can't tell me that in Brazil there is only meat with meat. I wouldn't go there again and wouldn't recommend it.

Das Essen kommt schnell und heiß an den Tisch. Die Servicekräfte sind unglaublich freundlich und aufmerksam.! Wir sind das erste mal hier und werden sicherlich auch mit Freunden sehr gerne wiederkommen. Food okay, service extremely friendly and pleasant

After a very long time we went back to the cabana to test the Rodizio with my in-laws and a friend of my husband's. We were warmly welcomed. There was almost nothing going on, which was probably due to the Kiel Week. We had a nice place. The Rodizio buffet was full and we all found something delicious. You can also get fries, rice and black beans as a side dish to the already plentiful buffet options. The food and especially the meat at Rodizio wasn't particularly amazing, but was still very tasty and plentiful. Since there wasn't much going on, we almost couldn't keep up as quickly as the meat came around. Luckily you can always skip a round and wait for the meat to come back. I think the price/performance is absolutely okay for all the variations you get. The service was also very attentive and nice. Someone also came regularly to make sure everything was OK. My husband and I ate there for the first time today and absolutely loved it. We cannot confirm the negative reviews. The staff is very friendly, courteous and stylishly dressed. The ambience of the restaurant is very nice. We chose the “Rodizio” menu, with this menu the meat is freshly cut off the spit at the table. At regular intervals the staff comes to the table with a skewer and different types of meat, but also with other dishes, such as: Rice, fries, croquettes, fried pineapple. You could also help yourself to a buffet, which included a variety of starters as well as warm side dishes. The price-performance ratio is excellent. It was a successful evening for us and certainly not our last visit!

The two of us went to the restaurant for breakfast on Sunday. Everything was fine and we felt comfortable and it tasted good. At breakfast we missed quark with muesli and there was no fruit at all. It would be great if this could be expanded to include breakfast. The staff was very friendly.

The food was very tasty. The meat was of very good quality.

Rodizio ordered twice, unfortunately not all types of meat came. The meat that came was simply dry (lamb) and totally over salted. The appetizer buffet was ok, but nothing special. Potato gratin was just peppery and the antipasta was way too oily. Service was ok. Ambiance is nice. Otherwise, take a picture yourself, but I won't be coming back. Price performance, if all 12 types of meat come, completely ok.

The food tasted good but the service wasn't good at all. We had celebrated our bachelorette party that day and wanted to have dinner there, but were very disappointed with how we were treated. Barely smiled and was polite, I mean it can be crowded but that doesn't mean that friendliness is neglected. A pity.

One of the most expensive steaks ordered…cold My wife's steak was inferior. Unfortunately, the waiter was very unfriendly and didn't even ask if it was tasty... he probably already knew why. 100€ given away. A pity

The Rodizio was crazy good. We got there soon after opening time and the buffet was really fresh. We ordered the Rodizio, it comes with the full buffet plus made to order rice with bean and multiple sauces. We managed to try every type of meat, all of them super fresh, juicy and tender. I was a bit scared after reading some of the reviews here, but it appears they read they too and are actively taking measures to make it a perfect experience.

So first of all: what's on offer is great, chic decoration, suitable music, comfortable seating. BUT… Some pieces of meat were so tough and some were really fried to death. Then you ask the waiter whether there could be boiled beef or fillet, but it was still a bit raw. And no: I don't mean medium rare! But really still raw! The store wasn't even half full with guests and something like that just doesn't work. You can definitely organize it better... Starters and salads are not worth mentioning. Not fresh and nothing special I won't come here anymore.

We ate here for the first time. I ordered a burger with fries, and what can I say, it was very tasty and I was full. The mayonnaise was from a small bag, but that's totally okay. The patties were done, so I would have preferred a light pink color. But that didn't really hurt the whole thing. I was satisfied overall, the operation was a bit difficult to understand, but still friendly.

The poultry was too dry for me. And I had to get used to the fact that the waitress addressed me in the third person: "The lady is already full? Would the lady like...?" It's not really a criterion for a bad review, but I didn't really feel comfortable there.

Five of us were there for dinner on May 10, 2024. The Alster/Radler I ordered consisted mostly of soda and had to go back to the service to add beer...it wasn't noticeably better after that. The chicken wings with fries were very good. The burger was also very good. For the hip steak 200g with fries, the portion of fries was a bit too small...but it tasted great. The rib eye steak was also very good. The side salad with the steaks was normal, but the dressing wasn't that tasty. The salmon with 2 prawns was a disappointment. Conclusion: only eat meat. The service staff was nice and attentive.
