It was a really disappointing game. Asked for a medium Rib-eye, and got one that was cooked completely dry. At least you know where not to go again.

First of all, the food itself is ok. It can be better but also worse. Unfortunately, the meat at Rodizio is often very raw, almost English, which is why this is not recommended. But above all, it's shocking that there isn't a decent vegetarian dish or dishes that don't ONLY contain meat. You can't tell me that in Brazil there is only meat with meat. I wouldn't go there again and wouldn't recommend it.

Food okay, service extremely friendly and pleasant

After a very long time we went back to the cabana to test the Rodizio with my in-laws and a friend of my husband's. We were warmly welcomed. There was almost nothing going on, which was probably due to the Kiel Week. We had a nice place. The Rodizio buffet was full and we all found something delicious. You can also get fries, rice and black beans as a side dish to the already plentiful buffet options. The food and especially the meat at Rodizio wasn't particularly amazing, but was still very tasty and plentiful. Since there wasn't much going on, we almost couldn't keep up as quickly as the meat came around. Luckily you can always skip a round and wait for the meat to come back. I think the price/performance is absolutely okay for all the variations you get. The service was also very attentive and nice. Someone also came regularly to make sure everything was OK. Thumbs up from us 👍🏻

My husband and I ate there for the first time today and absolutely loved it. We cannot confirm the negative reviews. The staff is very friendly, courteous and stylishly dressed. The ambience of the restaurant is very nice. We chose the “Rodizio” menu, with this menu the meat is freshly cut off the spit at the table. At regular intervals the staff comes to the table with a skewer and different types of meat, but also with other dishes, such as: Rice, fries, croquettes, fried pineapple. You could also help yourself to a buffet, which included a variety of starters as well as warm side dishes. The price-performance ratio is excellent. It was a successful evening for us and certainly not our last visit!

The two of us went to the restaurant for breakfast on Sunday. Everything was fine and we felt comfortable and it tasted good. At breakfast we missed quark with muesli and there was no fruit at all. It would be great if this could be expanded to include breakfast. The staff was very friendly.

Rodizio ordered twice, unfortunately not all types of meat came. The meat that came was simply dry (lamb) and totally over salted. The appetizer buffet was ok, but nothing special. Potato gratin was just peppery and the antipasta was way too oily. Service was ok. Ambiance is nice. Otherwise, take a picture yourself, but I won't be coming back. Price performance, if all 12 types of meat come, completely ok.

The food tasted good but the service wasn't good at all. We had celebrated our bachelorette party that day and wanted to have dinner there, but were very disappointed with how we were treated. Barely smiled and was polite, I mean it can be crowded but that doesn't mean that friendliness is neglected. A pity.

One of the most expensive steaks ordered…cold My wife's steak was inferior. Unfortunately, the waiter was very unfriendly and didn't even ask if it was tasty... he probably already knew why. 100€ given away. A pity

The Rodizio was crazy good. We got there soon after opening time and the buffet was really fresh. We ordered the Rodizio, it comes with the full buffet plus made to order rice with bean and multiple sauces. We managed to try every type of meat, all of them super fresh, juicy and tender. I was a bit scared after reading some of the reviews here, but it appears they read they too and are actively taking measures to make it a perfect experience.

So first of all: what's on offer is great, chic decoration, suitable music, comfortable seating. BUT… Some pieces of meat were so tough and some were really fried to death. Then you ask the waiter whether there could be boiled beef or fillet, but it was still a bit raw. And no: I don't mean medium rare! But really still raw! The store wasn't even half full with guests and something like that just doesn't work. You can definitely organize it better... Starters and salads are not worth mentioning. Not fresh and nothing special I won't come here anymore.

We ate here for the first time. I ordered a burger with fries, and what can I say, it was very tasty and I was full. The mayonnaise was from a small bag, but that's totally okay. The patties were done, so I would have preferred a light pink color. But that didn't really hurt the whole thing. I was satisfied overall, the operation was a bit difficult to understand, but still friendly.

Five of us were there for dinner on May 10, 2024. The Alster/Radler I ordered consisted mostly of soda and had to go back to the service to add beer...it wasn't noticeably better after that. The chicken wings with fries were very good. The burger was also very good. For the hip steak 200g with fries, the portion of fries was a bit too small...but it tasted great. The rib eye steak was also very good. The side salad with the steaks was normal, but the dressing wasn't that tasty. The salmon with 2 prawns was a disappointment. Conclusion: only eat meat. The service staff was nice and attentive.

The poultry was too dry for me. And I had to get used to the fact that the waitress addressed me in the third person: "The lady is already full? Would the lady like...?" It's not really a criterion for a bad review, but I didn't really feel comfortable there.

Food very bad. Spare ribs and salad were inedible, the aioli tasteless. It's a shame because the restaurant is centrally located and comfortably furnished. But unfortunately we have to say that we have rarely eaten so badly.

Das schlechteste Steak, welches ich je in einem Restaurant vorgesetzt bekam! Meine Ehefrau und ich logierten in einem Hotel an der Kieler Kaistrasse und fanden es bequem, im Rodizio zu Essen. Wir bestellten Lachs und Rib-Eye Steak. Der Lachs war o.k., mein Steak eine Beleidigung für meinen Gaumen und ein Offenbarungseid für das sogenannte Steakhouse! Ein derart mieses Stück Fleisch habe ich noch nie gehabt, es war durchgebraten (ich hatte Medium-rare bestellt), es war zäh und mit Sehnen durchzogen, es fehlte das Fettauge und es war trocken - einfach ein Stück Leder gebraten! Da wir gerade unseren Kurzurlaub in Kiel begonnen hatten, wollte ich wegen meiner Frau keinen Ärger machen, aber mir war der Appetit restlos vergangen. Niemals wieder Cabana Rodizio!

Update: We loved coming here for the breakfast buffet. This has now been resolved. Until 2020: €9.90 pp during the week. From 2020: €12.50 during the week. 2022: €17.50 during the week. 2024: no more breakfast buffet during the week; on weekends €23.50. What a shame! ______________________________________ I've always loved coming here! Great ambience, decor, music, relaxed atmosphere. I come for breakfast brunch every now and then and it is very filling. The best thing is the employees: you rarely find such great and friendly service! :-)

Correction: after 35 minutes a (1!) spare rib was brought for 2 people (see photo). - When you point out that you have already asked for supplies three times, you are only smiled at. - Some of the staff apparently don't speak German and don't understand that you want to reorder.

Leider haben wir dieses tolle Restaurant erst am vorletzten Abend entdeckt, als wir schauen wollten, was in dem selben Komplex gelegenen Kino läuft. ( Hier gibt es auch eine Bowlingbahn) Wir sind dann am nächsten Mittag hingegangen, mittags gehts wohl auch ohne Reservierung. Von 12 bis 15 Uhr gibt es eine wöchentlich wechselnde Mittagskarte mit vergünstigten Preisen. Die Abendkarte natürlich etwas teurer, aber wohl der Qualität angepaßt. Diese ist wirklich einwandfrei und jeden Cent wert. Es wird auch ein Buffet angeboten. Getränkepreise normal. Die junge Dame vom Service war sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und flott. Das Essen kam super schnell, Fleisch und Gemüse waren auf den Punkt gegart, das Essen hat himmlisch gut geschmeckt. Das Ambiente ist sehr gemütlich, mit zahlreichen liebevollen Details. Schade, dass wir das Lokal erst so spät entdeckt haben. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder, wenn wir wieder nach Kiel kommen.

Today we had the Rodizio buffet, it was incredibly tasty, the meat was super juicy and the taste was simply great. Great value for money. The staff was super friendly. Gladly again 😊

The spit-eating was absolutely hectic and the poultry varieties were exclusively wing parts. The buffet wasn't great and could have been presented much better. The staff member who served seemed very nice, but sometimes didn't understand what we wanted. Some of the rooms seem quite dark and the toilets are not particularly well cleaned. A pity. But I get better price and performance elsewhere

All in all a lovely meal. But waited a long time for drinks. They came after we got the food. It is not okay. The food was good but a bit dry/burnt.

The ambience is quite good, as is the service, but the food was really disappointing. I had a burger and the meat was dry. Overall the burger wasn't particularly good. For the price it's just not good.

Visited this restaurant today despite the bad reviews And I have to say that in our case the food was inedible. Ordered the Hacienda platter for 2. Steak Medium!! The steak was completely burnt and black in color. After complaint, same game. Burnt steak. Complained again... Then a woman came who explained to us that the same steak had been put on the grill again. They thought it should be cooked through. We said several times, medium... Finally we got new ones... you could eat it, but nothing more. Not even a simple “apology” came from their lips. The only positive thing was the waitress who couldn't help it. We will definitely never go here again.

The first time the kitchen wasn't convincing. This time the food was delicious. But so does the price!! But regardless, you don't treat yourself to anything else.

It used to be better. Last night: table reservation was lost, staff was unfriendly, drink order was forgotten, food order was incomplete, no question as to whether everything was OK, we waited forever for the bill, bills were peppered onto the table, no farewell when leaving. Never again.

Unfortunately the plates are not preheated, so the food was unfortunately cold. The steak ordered medium was raw. Unfortunately the fries were also very limp. The pan and fried potatoes were good.

Price performance is absolutely no longer true and the service is very poor. When we came in, there was a rather unfriendly, harsh greeting that a colleague came straight away. She tried hard again. Three had the Rodizio Buffet and one had the Gaucho. The gentleman who cut the meat for us spoke very unclearly and at times we didn't know what it was. Had to ask several times. In addition, the respective pieces of meat came at too short intervals and seemed rather uncomfortable and like piecemeal food. The beef was inedible, only after the complaint, the last piece of beef was great! The dessert buffet looked great, but there was hair in the creme brulee and the cream tasted like rotten eggs. The Coke Zero was also stale.

Ordered Rodizio here on a weekday. It was very different: A lot of the meat was simply not freshly grilled, but rather warmed up. Two or three freshly grilled types of steak were really good, Tafelspitz - like most other things - was very dry and the Tafelspitz in particular was not cut down, but pulled off the spit in one piece. Unfortunately, 1/3 of the meat served was inedible. The side dishes are not worth mentioning: chips or rice or a few dry leftovers at the buffet. Salad buffet also absolutely below average. Real plus point: great service, very fast and meat at any time Absolutely no comparison with, for example, Panthera Rodizio in Hamburg or Haszienda in Jesteburg. The store is on a main road with no water view. It's always good to get full, but you can also do that at McDonalds or the kebab around the corner 😉

I think it's great to make reservations online. With an appointment reminder in advance 👍🏼. Once there we went to the table and the food was really delicious. The conditions were super friendly and attentive. Thank you for a nice evening 🌆. It was just a bit chilly that evening. We'll come back when we get the chance.

Very drafty because the door was constantly opening and closing. Burger for €17.50 is completely overpriced. Service was friendly and always on site.

A bit noisy, the service slow and not very communicative, but very tasty food

We had rump steak and turkey schnitzel. Both were very good. Fast attentive service

Reserved a table on Saturday, the table was catastrophic. When we ordered, we noticed that the employees were often arguing loudly. Since we were sitting near the kitchen, we noticed that the cook reached into the pan with his fingers and put something in his mouth. A no go! The waiter who served us was very annoyed and unfriendly. Then we watched the cook throw the vegetables from the plate back into the pan! That was too much. We mentioned it in the kitchen and were laughed at, so we left the restaurant! The toilets leave a lot to be desired! That doesn't work at all!!!

We were there for a break on a Sunday. The selection was good and the quality was okay. It was also replenished quickly. The staff was very friendly. So basically recommended if the demands are not too high.

Da habe ich mehr erwartet.Vorspeisen Buffet war lecker,doch habe ich noch nie so eine schlechte Fleischqualität gehabt.Die Rippchen zäh,da hätte ich mir einen Zahn abbrechen können,Hähnchen zu laberich,Rumpsteak zu durch einzig die Würstchen waren gut.War halt eine Erfahrung das ich da nicht nochmal hingehe.

Das Personal war aufmerksam, zuvorkommend und freundlich. Das Essen war frisch und das Buffet wurde regelmäßig aufgefüllt.

Sehr leckeres Essen, die Leute waren auch sehr nett. Jedoch fand ich es etwas laut wofür man ja nicht unbedingt etwas kann und es war sehr kalt, trotz dickem Pullover und meiner Jacke auf dem Schoß und einer Kerze neben mir habe ich sehr gefroren was ich sonst nie dort hatte. Mein Date empfand dies gleich.

Spontan entschieden hinzugehen und haben ohne Reservierung Plätze bekommen. LECKERE Fleischspeisen. Besonders die Bratkartoffeln waren lecker.

Ich gehe hier sehr gerne zum Frühstücken hin, aber auch das Steak ist außerordentlich lecker. Ist mein Lieblingssteakrestaurant. Auch das Personal ist freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wenn es mal ein Problem gibt bzw. Wenn was mit der Bestellung nicht passt, wird entsprechend reagiert :) Auch für Weihnachts- bzw Firmenfeiern gut geeignet

Der Service und das Personal waren gut . Das Essen war einfach nur bodenlos . Pommes waren entweder komplett durch oder halb roh und die Spareribs waren anscheinend von Aldi aus der Tiefkühltruhe . Dafür dann 16,90€ zu verlangen , ist in meinen Augen eine absolute Frechheit ! Wenn man dann beim schnellen Verlassen des Establissement am „Buffet“ vorbeiläuft fällt man endgültig vom Glauben ab . Wer dafür 25€ !!!! bezahlt ist in meinen Augen wirklich irre . Um mal ein Bierchen zu trinken bestimmt ganz schön aber um lecker zu Essen keine Option .

Wir waren dort heute Abend zum Rodizio und hatten uns sehr darauf gefreut. Leider wurden unsere Erwartungen nicht erfüllt. Das Fleisch vom Spieß war kaum gewürzt, teilweise roh und zäh. Oftmals kamen einige Fleischsorten (Pute, Hähnchen und Schwein) regelmäßig nacheinander, Tafelspitz nur auf Nachfrage. Bürgermeisterstück haben wir gar nicht zu Gesicht bekommen. Das Kartoffelgratin war fad und nicht durch. Die Kartoffeln waren mehr als bissfest. Dafür war das Gemüse sehr lecker. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und hat sich gut um die Gäste gekümmert. Leider war eine gute Kommunikation durch die hohe Lautstärke nicht möglich.

Das Essen war sehr lecker und es wurde immer wieder was an den Tisch gebracht bei dem Buffet.Auch den Kindern hat's geschmeckt und dabei gab es keine Nuggets!

Super Essen, lieber reservieren

Leider kann ich keine gute Bewertung abgeben. Freitagabend, Tisch für eine kleine Gruppe reserviert. Kurze Wartezeit vor Ort, da der Tisch noch nicht frei war - grundsätzlich kein Problem. Nach Bestellung der Rodizio-Buffets dauerte es allerdings 40 Minuten, nach einer Erinnerung, bis die Getränke eintrafen und weitere 10 Minuten, bis der erste Gang serviert wurde. Fleischqualität grundsätzlich gut, allerdings größtenteils nur blutig (rare). Das "Bürgermeistersteak" war leider nur ein trockenes lederartiges Beefsteak. Leider war auch keine Struktur bei den verschiedenen Gängen zu erkennen, erst im Nachhinein fiel auf, dass einige Spezialitäten, wie z.B. Lamm gar nicht serviert wurden. Die Nachspeisen (geb. Banane, Ananas) kamen in der Mitte. Die Servicekräfte waren sichtlich überfordert, weitere Getränke gab es nur auf explizite Nachfrage. Schade, dass die Servicekräfte für solche Dinge kein Gespür hatten. "Absacker" war auch nicht dabei. Zuletzt noch zur Atmosphäre: Bedingt durch den hohen Besucherandrang, der zur Weihnachtszeit durch Weihnachtsfeiern sicher höher ist, war es sehr unangenehm laut, so dass man seinen Gesprächspartner anbrüllen musste. Selbst als sich die Reihen später etwas leerten, blieb es laut und chaotisch. Ich werde das Restaurant wohl nicht mehr besuchen oder empfehlen. Für einen ersten Eindruck gibt es nunmal keine 2. Chance.

Wir wurden freundlich begrüßt und bewirtet. Das Essen war richtig gut. 👍

Spareribs sind nicht mal zweitklassig, zu teuer und zu kleine Portion als Tellergericht gewertet. Keiner von uns 5 hatte Bufett gewählt und keiner von uns ist satt aus dem Laden gegangen was für sich spricht. Ich bin niemand der einen übervollen Teller schätzt aber 100g reine Fleischmasse, eine handvoll trockene Pommes sowie ein Schälchen Krautsalat, sorry aber das ist auch bei gar keiner Anspruchshaltung zu wenig

Letztes Jahr waren ich und meine 4 Kumpel schwer begeistert, Service und Essen Top, so das Wir dieses Jahr wieder gerne 120km anfahrt in Kauf genommen haben. Allerdings sind wir dieses Jahr sehr enttäuscht worden, wir haben mit fünf mann einen sehr kleinen Tisch bekommen wo der zugestellte Stuhl lose Armlehnen hatte so das mein Kollege Angst hatte sich auf dem Stuhl zu bewegen. Der Service lies auch sehr zu wünschen übrig, wir saßen um 20 Uhr am Tisch und wurden erst 25 min später nach unserem Getränkewunsch gefragt……der Hauptgang mit dem essen vom Spieß war bis auf zwei Ausnahmen eine einzige Katastrophe, die kleinen Würste und das Bürgermeistersteak vom Spieß waren Super……das Entrecote, der Kassler, das Hüftsteak waren überwiegend noch roh……der ChickenWing, die Sparerips, das Lamm waren so trocken gegrillt das Sie kaum runter zu kriegen waren. Im vergleich zu unserem Besuch vom letzten Jahr, war dieser Besuch eine Verschlechterung um 75%……

Ich habe dieses Lokal durch Zufall entdeckt. War direkt beim ersten Mal begeistert und bin jetzt Stammgast. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt absolut und die Qualität ist sehr gut. Der Service ist auch sehr gut, Luft nach oben ist ja aber immer 😉

Meat overdose... They struggle sometimes to bring all types of meat to all tables... So ASK... They are happy to bring whatever you crave for. Even my vegetarian daughter loved it... The Buffet has a lot to offer meat-free

Ein gutes Restaurant um mit Arbeitskollegen essen zugehen aber definitiv nichts für einen romantischen Abend zu zweit. Das Essen ist geschmacklich gut aber auch nicht mehr. Die Servicekräfte sind freundlich und aufmerksam.

I went there with my bf and expected more from the reputation, but we ended up being disappointed. We ordered 2 glasses of Prosecco, which weren't even sparkling ... The rumpsteak and rib eye steak were very mediocre. My rib eye steak was even bitter because it was burnt. My bf had fries which were also below average. I had Kartoffelgratin which was the best thing of all haha. The waitor didn't even come and ask once during the dinner if we enjoyed the food or not, only at the end when he came to collect the plates. Don't think I would go back here, even tho the buffet option seems interesting. But judging from the bad steaks, meh ...

Wir hatten Weihnachtsfeier und leider war die Raumtemperatur viel zu kalt, haben alle gefroren. Das Essen war leider nur lauwarm.

Steaks sehr lecker und empfehlenswert. Rodizio aus meiner Sicht überbewertet, die guten Sachen erst zum Ende aber dafür Reichhaltig. Salatbuffet ganz ok. Cocktails sind liebevoll angerichtet und Preise entsprechend. Geräuschkulisse im Restaurant sehr hoch. Am Tisch war Zahlung nicht möglich dies muss man am Eingang und da stand man auch noch, dieses Konzept ist irgendwie nicht richtig durchdacht.

A hidden gem in Kiel. They didn't show on Google maps, but we walked past it on our way to downtown. Stopped for dinner and was not disappointed. Had a steak, and it was perfectly cooked. Very pleasant staff and speedy service.

Die Salate und Beilagen vom Büfett waren reichhaltig und in Ordnung. Die meisten Fleischsorten waren zäh oder hart. Die Hähnchenflügel waren gut gewürzt und lecker, Pute und Schwein habe ich nicht probiert. Vom Rindfleisch war nur der zuletzt servierte Tafelspitz wirklich zart und ein Genuss, das Rumpsteak war recht gut, aber die anderen beiden Rinderstücke erinnerten an Suppenfleisch, zäh und hart. Auch das Lamm war hart. Unser Hinweis darauf wurde zur Kenntnis genommen, mehr nicht. Die Desserts sind hübsch anzusehen, schmecken mittelmäßig. Der Service war eine fabrikmäßige Abfertigung, ein Getränk wurde erst nach 4 (!!!)-maligem Nachfragen gebracht. Das Lokal ist riesig, es war sehr kalt, durch den eher uninteressierten Service insgesamt keine schöne Atmosphäre. Wir würden nicht nochmal hingehen.

Das Essen war sehr lecker, aber leider waren wir nur zu zweit und der Kellner mit dem Fleisch Spieß hat uns das ein oder andere mal vergessen. Von den besagten 12 verschiedenen Fleischarten im Gericht "Rodizio" erreichten uns nur sieben. Aber auch nach diesen sieben Spießen waren wir Pappsatt.

Leider war das Essen überhaupt nicht gut. Ich hatte Lamm bestellt, was sehr viel Pfeffer gesehen hat. Der Blattspinat war dagegen total versalzen und das Kartoffelgratin war auch nicht der Hit. Die Cola bestand aus Sirup der mit Wasser ( ohne Kohlensäure) aufgefüllt wurde. Sehr schade

Wir waren hier mit einer Weihnachtsfeier. Die Karte war recht seltsam: Teures Buffet (wenn man Fleisch möchte), andere sehr teure Gerichte, und bei den weiteren Speisen wenig Beilagen (kein Salat oder Gemüse. Die Backkartoffel war ganz in Ordnung, das Rindfleisch aber staubtrocken. Im Herbst nahe am Fenster war es recht kalt. Die Akustik ist nicht gut: wenn mehr Leute da sind, kann man sich schlecht unterhalten.

Wir hatten das Buffet bestellt. Das Fleisch war oft gar nicht durch. Es wurde vom Spieß auf dem Teller in kleinen Portionen geschnitten. Der Service war ok.

Ich war das erste Mal hier essen und werde es kein zweites Mal mehr tun. Es war unangenehm laut, so daß man sich kaum unterhalten konnte. Der Service war nett, dass war aber leider auch das einzige Positive. Ich hatte Schweinefilet mit Gemüse und Bratkartoffeln. Das Fleisch war zäh und völlig trocken. Das Gemüse war so durchgegart und versalzen das man es nicht essen konnte und die wenigen Bratkartoffeln sind im Öl ersoffen. Dafür durfte ich dann 19€ bezahlen.. Wenn ich mir das Menü zu Hause koche schmeckt es wesentlich besser. Auch das Essen von den Kolleginnen war völlig versalzen. Kein zweites Mal leider!
