Friendly service, a little slow but otherwise everything was fine. Central location, but tense parking situation. Food was ok and warm.

Very helpful service, pushed tables together for us so the six of us could sit together. Since we usually go to the comparatively huge Hans im Glück in Wuppertal, we found it quite cramped here.

For a shopping break in between. You can also come in just to have a tasty espresso at the bar. Many guests do that. Colorful cocktails are also popular. Friendly service and crowd.

It was okay, the table and bench wobbled annoyingly, so we had to worry about the drinks I had the Loaded Avocado Fries which were pretty disappointing but okay for a quick craving. It would actually have been more worthwhile to order normal fries and guacamole with it, because the 4 lettuce leaves and halves! cherry tomatoes were a joke

We ordered online, after an hour of waiting the order was canceled for no reason. Not again!

The staff is rude and incompetent. When we asked to accompany our child to the toilet, we were refused because we were not customers. Plus the burgers here are disgusting and the horrible drinks they call “cocktails” are just undrinkable!

I've been here several times and tried different dishes. These were always tasty but were also expensive in terms of price, which is probably the case almost everywhere these days, so they are still acceptable in comparison. The employees are always very friendly. However, once during the day, when there was little going on, I observed the waitress taking cash from an obviously homeless person who was eating something outside and then preparing a skewer of lemon for my drink without hand hygiene or gloves. To be honest, I didn't find that very appetizing. Otherwise small pliers might be a solution. Commendably, I have to say that the employees actually didn't want to take any money from the man, but he insisted. Nevertheless, because we always liked it, we ate here again recently and this time there was a very drunk man sitting across the bar at the bar who also smelled increasingly strongly of urine. The employees already had an eye on him, but didn't do anything. He didn't hurt anyone, but when I go out to eat, it's not so nice when you see someone who's completely drunk and you have their flag and the smell of urine in your nose. In principle, everyone has the right to eat there, but unfortunately for me it made the evening quite un-relaxing.

First wait until the table was cleared (it was largely empty). Overall, dusty and dirty pillows, sticky table, dirty glasses piled up at the bar. One toilet was broken. The waitress put the cocktail with alcohol in front of me (heavily pregnant) - completely disinterested, inattentive, I should have known what I had ordered. Food was clear with hair and totally expensive. I felt self-conscious about the food and overall very uncomfortable! That was a shitty experience on every level.

Good food. Good service. You might feel cramped for space as it's a bit tiny. But overall a good option to have some nice food.

As soon as you enter, you feel like you have been transported to a small green oasis - the cozy atmosphere with birch trunks and warm light invites you to linger. The service is friendly, attentive and fast, so you feel completely comfortable. The burgers are simply fantastic: juicy, fresh and combined with creative ingredients. The large selection of vegetarian and vegan options is particularly impressive. There are also crispy sweet potato fries and homemade sauces that round off the taste experience perfectly. The prices are absolutely fair, especially the lunch menu offers great value for money. An all-round successful restaurant that I can recommend to everyone – I will definitely come back!

We were able to visit Hans im Glück Kiel at short notice for a large group. Both the telephone contact in advance and the service on site were great! The food (both in terms of taste and portion size) was also very good. I can only recommend a visit!

We've been here several times before, but we've been dissatisfied a few times now. We had sand in our salad several times and our companion's burger arrived at the table cold. As I said, we tried it a few more times afterwards, but unfortunately it didn't get any better.

The atmosphere in Hans im Glück really appealed to me. A cute place. The service was extremely friendly, very accommodating and service-oriented. When I asked what the difference was between a classic burger and a Smashburger, she enlightened me and absolutely convinced me to try a Smashburger. This absolutely convinced me in terms of taste and quality, as did the side salad. Highly recommended, Hans im Glück in Kiel. We would be happy to come back at any time. I was looking for a restaurant this afternoon. I chose Hans im Glück because I found the design of the restaurant exciting. The service was very quick and super friendly. I chose the lunch special and can highly recommend the “Erbsenkraft” burger. Overall, a nice stay. I'd love to come back! 🚢

Been here at lunchtime. The service was very friendly and explained the system, burger +€8.50 for side dish, cold and warm drink. But we decided on a large portion of various fries. Normal ones came. It was pointed out, they apologized and offered something new. Save everything. My wine glass with lipstick was also replaced immediately. Ambiance is ok, tables far too small and uncomfortable.

The Hans im Glück in Kiel has a pleasant atmosphere and impresses with very good drinks. The fries are recommended, but the toppings are less so. Thanks to NeoTaste we got 2-for-1 burgers, which balanced out the price-performance ratio - otherwise the prices for meat dishes would be too high. However, vegetarian and vegan alternatives are inexpensive. The staff was OK but not particularly attentive.

Price-performance ratio is absolutely right: friendly service, delicious fries and great burgers. It could be a little cleaner (bread crumbs and leftover chips on the floor)

Cozy place. Centrally located. There were 14 of us and everyone got what they wanted. I myself drank glynwein. Many drank beer. Then go out and shop further in Kiel.

I ordered there via Uber Eats, 2 for 1. But there was only one burger instead of two. I called there and the woman claimed that my name didn't appear in the orders at all. However, I have the invoice from Hans im Glück here where everything is written on it. She doesn't feel responsible and forwarded everything to Uber Eats instead of sending me the second burger. This 2 in 1 offer was the reason why I ordered there in the first place, because otherwise it is far too expensive... I will never order anything from Hans im Glück again and won't eat there because of the poor service.

Unfriendly reception, we wanted to eat a burger around 5 p.m. They said we couldn't even though some things were free. As a tourist, I then asked if I could still go to the toilet, it was urgent. That was then rejected because we wanted to become customers.

Oh man, I was looking forward to a good burger. Unfortunately the burger and truffle fries were below average. I had no luck.

Very tasty burger eaten. Side dish and non-alcoholic cocktail also great. Fast food restaurant designed completely digitally - from order to payment, this is a bit at the expense of the ambience. That's perfectly fine if you - like me - just want to eat a good burger after a while.

Nice food, warm and particular the veggie section is great and proper described. Test the potato chips, delicious! The premises were a bit messy and a cleaning of floors, corners, furnitures would be good, the stairs to the toilets were really dirty, greasy and dirt in corners. The bardisk looked nice so I assume, that where food is prepared has been prioritised. The host (female) was unfriendly, we, and I noticed other guests felt not welcomed. She had the restaurants laptop on the bar facing outwards and when a guest needed to pass the guest was "in the way". Small tip, move it to a location where you do not clash with the guests for a more friendly atmosphere. Also at arrival she seemed annoyed whereever we placed ourselfs at entrance. Change your processes to ensure the guest feel welcome, move stuff you need away from the very few squaremeters in the entrance to ensure you are not pushing guests around. The service at the table was friendly but our coffee was forgotten twice, it took 30 minutes for coffee to arrive. Pay attention to the table, the restaurant was not busy and staff was performing other tasks or talking, it feels bad to have to ask for the coffee twice. Otherwice, super location, value for money and food is of good quality. I do recommend to visit this restaurant if you are in city.

Food cold, cheeky and rude shift manager when pointing out that the food is cold. Tables were increasingly not cleared. Waited longer than 30 minutes for drinks and finally for the cold food, despite not being overly busy. The only positive thing is that the waitresses tried to apologize for the shift management. The shift management didn't think it was necessary. The same problem at the next table

Arrived at 8.30 p.m., waited 15 minutes for the waitress, who then recommended Peter Pan, where else could you get burgers at that time?! It couldn't be worse!

Quite nice. But nothing super special. The prices are proud. The portions are not generous. It's tight. My daughter wasn't very happy. Vegan nuggets and fries, which were a bit over the top, definitely didn't convince them. It's unlikely we'll come back again.

Lad vær med at besøge dette sted. Jeg kom til at ramme en del af inventaret ved et uheld. Vi havde et hjørne bord med lidt plads i forvejen. Jeg ramte en kæmpe stor træstolpe, som ikke var sat fast på nogen måder. Den fløj ned med stor kraft og ramte Bordet og min gravides kærestes arm med hård kraft. Vi fik bare at vide at vi kunne sætte os udenfor hvis det var, inventaret var en del af franchisetagen, derudover så fortalte den knap så søde tjener, at det var alle de andre kunder, der havde gjort stolpen løs. Ingen beklagelse eller undskyldning. Virkelig et dårlig sted og farlig sted. Tænk hvis den kæmpe stolpe havde ramt en af os rigtigt.

BUT the best thing was the onion rings, they are unique here and nowhere else in Germany have I gotten them as crispy and fresh as they are here. Central location with a solid selection of food. Above all, a lot of emphasis is placed on meat-free options, so that you can also get a delicious burger vegetarian and vegan. The cocktails are also recommended. No photo was taken in good company, the presentation is typical of a chain a la Birke but like everywhere else in a Hans im Glück. With a bit of luck we got a place in the outdoor lighting. Ordering and paying via the link at the table is a good thing in itself, but it's a bit stupid that you can't book all the offers via it and so you then needed the waitress again, who was very friendly by the way. Very tasty burgers and fries; just could have been a little hotter. The homemade iced tea (peach-lime) is also recommended. Unfortunately we had to wait 45 minutes from ordering until the food was delivered. Reordering drinks also required a reminder. The staff was a bit overwhelmed by the capacity of the restaurant.

Hyggeligt er som er centralt placeret. Jeg anbefaler at man prøver advocado burger eller avocado til pomfritter. Prisen udtrykker den placering restauranten har og det er lidt i den dyre ende. En smart figure er at man kan betale ved at scanne en QR-kode når man forlader restauranten og så kan man blot gå uden at tale med personalet.

The food is really overpriced for the quality. A few fries and a burger for €15 plus is really cheeky. The ambience is hip but the self-welded benches are completely uncomfortable. The store is completely geared towards quantity rather than class. You have to like it.

Here I ate a delicious bowl, but it was a bit small for its contents. The burger prices are also quite high. Nevertheless, I think the atmosphere is very nice and the service was very friendly.

Relatively cramped, not very comfortable and service tried hard, but not outstanding. The card sounded great at first, although the prices were already ambitious. When the food came, the verdict was clear. We've had much better burgers for the price. Didn't blow me away. Unfortunately, rather mixed. No recommendation.

Hans im Glück is a good burger restaurant with a generally nice atmosphere. Is very nicely decorated. But what is to be criticized is the space at the tables. First we sat at a table that was supposed to be for four people. Even with the best will in the world, you couldn't sit here because there was a tree trunk behind you. Not feasible for me as a rather tall person. Unfortunately, this was only responded to when I asked for another table. Very unfortunate. The service was very friendly and the food was good. All in all, the restaurant makes a very cramped impression. They wanted a lot in a small amount of space. You can easily go there with two people. There were four of us and we wouldn't do it again for that reason alone.

Delicious food and great service. We were 20 minutes late and forgot to call, unfortunately our table was already taken. We then sat at the counter and were each able to choose a drink and dessert on the house (my wife and I). They were really friendly and super nice.

The seating is not exactly comfortable and the distance between the tables is too narrow.

Small location, well maintained, very well coordinated, friendly service and quick food. This is how I would rate our visit. Stay like that.
