Delicious food, unfortunately super slow and unreliable service. Very long waiting times between service and receiving the order. No questions asked if you wanted to order anything else. Unfortunately, the orders were forgotten and not delivered twice during the stay. Each time it resolved after waiting 30-60 minutes. Too bad.

Came towards the second half of the Sunday service and ordered brunch for 3. After some waiting time (understandably since it was quite busy) the food came. One out of three was wrong. Service pretended to care very little and correct order came after 10 minutes. In the meantime Tea was delivered lukewarm and freshly pressed orange juice is in fact regular orange juice with pulp. Overall quite pricey and small portions. Will not repeat.

A family with 2 children and ordered pancakes for the kids. The food took over 40mins to come out. When we asked for another glass of tap water for the kids, they refused and said that it would be a charge because they don’t give out tap water for free Not even for children. Wow. Excellent Don’t waste your time coming here, bad service, average food and the sour taste of no water is down right ridiculous

One of our favourite places in Berlin. Not for special occasions just a great regular restaurant. Especially the breakfasts. We love the Full English Breakfasts (especially now that there's a vegan one) even though they are not mistakable for actual English breakfast. Sure there are beans, but there's also salad and pomegranate seeds :-D But the echt German food they have in the evenings is also increasingly good, and also seasonal.

Food was ok. Asked for a glass of tap water then charged €3.70 for it on the bill. Highlighted I asked for tap water and responded with we don’t give tap water and it was in fact still water. Water comes free with coffee only, which I also ordered. Could have mentioned it when I requested a glass of “tap water”. Bring your crystal ball because they make it up as they go along. Won’t be back,

My family and I had a wonderful brunch here. The patio is spacious with plenty of seeing. The service was very friendly and stopped by often to make sure we had what we needed. Overall, the food was delicious and we were happy that we made the trip across town to give it a try..you should too!

There is everything. Shady, sunny, airy, sheltered, indoors or outdoors. Despite the busy times, the waitress was very patient and friendly with us. Highly recommended: lemon ricotta pancakes! They fill you up and are still fresh and fruity. The lemon sauce is really sour!!! Thanks!

My favorite brunch place - the food is consistently great, the ambiance chill and pleasant and the coffee super tasty. It's also the first place I've been to where English Breakfast is actually great and bacon and eggs pancakes are mouth-watering!

Sunday breakfast at 9:30 is perfect time for this place and Berlin. Not crowded and very chill. The food is super tasty. Lemonade is amazing.

A really tasty breakfast, pleasant atmosphere. We were there for late breakfast on a Saturday. It was quite busy but we were served quickly and well looked after and the food was great.

Both the breakfast and the dishes from the lunch and dinner menu are always delicious, there is something for every taste and allergies/intolerances are also taken into account. I can't understand some of the negative reviews here, my experiences with the service staff have always been positive, everyone is friendly, open and helpful :)

Unfortunately we waited 15 minutes until the menu was brought to us, then another 25 minutes until we could order, drinks came half an hour later. Although guests who came after us and sat next to us had already received their food. Unfortunately the food was moldy, I have no idea who in good conscience cuts a moldy strawberry and puts it on the food. All over, poor experience and way too overpriced for the minimum level of gastronomic expertise, McDonald would probably be more qualified.

The location is really pleasant and ideal, especially in summer, for enjoying a drink or two. I ordered the Shakshuka, which was unfortunately far too spicy and not particularly typical. Otherwise, the drinks were very tasty and the service was a bit inattentive, but that could also be due to the number of visitors.

It's really bad that you can't make a reservation after 9:30 on a weekend 4 weeks in advance - sad, just sad, especially for people who have been there several times and left a turnover of > 200 €.... Super inflexible, others are happy about our sales

If schnitzel (veal and pork), then butter. 😎 Wine whether open or bottled is very good. Friendly people behind and in front of the counter. Update: If there were crystal wheat in summer, 5.5 points from with.

Great outdoor space and the food was delicious. Try the schnitzel… it’s as big as Europe.

lI don't even remember how I came across Café Butter. The service was very nice and we had avocado bread, a mixed breakfast and pancakes. The bread looked great, there were 3 rolls with the mixed breakfast, but far too few toppings. The cheese also looked like it had seen better days. I wanted the pancakes with mascarpone cream and strawberry puree. Apparently strawberries were out, so I decided on raspberries. But I have seen strawberries as decoration on many plates. The pancakes were tasty, but they all looked equally accurate. Either a ring is used here and they were purchased. The price-performance ratio simply doesn't fit here. Everyone there was very nice, but I wouldn't go there again.

I had brunch there recently. The food was delicious and the service and staff were very attentive and friendly. I chose the Benedikt Egg avocado. I know it's not cheap, but if you treat yourself to it every now and then, you're doing something good for yourself by eating butter.

Super delicious breakfast for a good price! We were there during the week and it was super relaxed. The vegetarian selection was also great. There was even a vegetarian English breakfast!

Ambiance is nice on sunny days but quite overpriced for the quality and portions. 45 minutes for egg and pancakes. Sunday brunch… I guess it’s tolerable. The vibe is great. Keep the ambiance, lose the menu and tastes.

Super nice, charming pub/restaurant. The new menu is delicious, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is nice. You can sit outside on the sunny side of the poplar avenue.

The perfect place for a cozy and extensive breakfast/brunch with friends. The menu offers something for every taste: sweet to savory, traditional to modern. The price may not be cheap, but just the sight of the beautifully presented dishes, which always include fresh fruit and vegetables, can lift your mood enormously. Here you can really do the Gönnjamin 🤗

A very pleasant place! We've enjoyed coming there for years. You don't follow every trend here and everything is pleasantly calm and personal. That doesn't happen that often in this neighborhood anymore! The food is of very good quality and lovingly prepared and served. And all for a reasonable price. Please keep it up!!

Incredibly unfriendly staff. Disgusting oat cappuccino! When returned after one sip, it was still added to the bill. Really expensive and poor service. But because the store benefits from its location and is so crowded with people, I guess they don't have to be nice to people. Staff also changes every 3 days, which is probably why… Deleting negative reviews doesn't make it any better!

One of the best addresses for German food. The warm potato salad is simply wonderful (my favorite salad)! The veal and pork schnitzel is fantastic! The service was quick and friendly. We'd love to come back!

Ein echt schönes Café mit seinem ganz eigenem Charme. Etwas voll, etwas eng, etwas laut, wenn man Pech hat, mit Wartezeit verbunden oder wenn man sehr viel Pech hat, bekommt man auch keinen Platz im Café. Reservieren kann man. Dies aber nur unter der Woche...Wir kamen heute, auf einem Samstag. Das Lokal gut gefüllt. Es herrschte, trotz regem Treiben, eine entspannte Atmosphäre. Aber als wir dann endlich unseren freien Tisch in Empfang nahmen, sich schnell einer der netten Kellnerinnen um uns kümmerte, und uns mit so einem tollen Menü zum Brunch überraschte, war alles um uns herum vergessen. Das Auge aß mit und kam hier voll auf seine Kosten. So saßen wir hier, trankten und aßen lecker...und vergaßen komplett die Zeit, es waren indess schon zwei Stunden vergangen. 2 echt tolle Stunden, mit einer tollen Freundin und einem leckeren Frühstück.

Angesagtes Café in Prenzlberg, super Service und ganz gemütlich. Allerdings bekommt man kulinarisch nichts Besonderes. Die Frühstücksangebote sind ziemlich teuer und man bekommt 0815 Brötchen/Backwaren. Man wird aber satt.

Tolles Frühstück, wir waren spontan an einem Sonntag um 11 Uhr da und es gab noch wenige Plätze. Es gab eine großes Frühstücksangebot.

Edit Reply: The waitress didn't say there was a technical issue or there wasn't a card reader available. She matter of fact just said, it's cash only after we had our drinks and food.

Die Frühstück Mix Platte ist eher Medium. Wurst und Käse eher Standard und aus Verpackten.

Bei unserem Besuch in Berlin sind wir zufällig auf dieses tolle Café gestoßen. Da die google Rezessionen überwiegend positiv waren und uns das Ambiente auch angesprochen hat, entschlossen wir uns auch da zu frühstücken! Unsere Wahl war durchaus perfekt! Wir waren sehr überrascht über die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiterinnen (leider weiß ich den Namen unserer Lieblingsbedenung nicht ☹️ sie hatte aber glatte Haare zu einem Zopf gebunden und war etwas Älter als die anderen) Die Auswahl war sehr gut.. Meine Tochter entschied sich für die Pancakes die sie absolut mega fand und eine Freundin und ich hatten das Rührei in verschiedenen Varianten. Alles war sehr ansprechend angerichtet und geschmacklich, einschließlich dem Kaffee und dem frischgepressten Orangensaft einfach Top! Super Frühstück, in einer schönen und gemütlichen Lokation bei überaus freundlich und bemühten Mitarbeitern das man so nur noch selten erlebt! Danke, ihr habt unseren Start in den Tag perfekt gemacht!

Der "Mediterrane Brotsalat" bestand aus einem Schälchen (kein Witz) in der Pfanne warm gemachter Brotwürfel mit 3 Löffeln kalten gebratenen "Antipasti" (Zwiebel, Paprika, Zucchini). Dressing (Vinaigrette) habe ich noch nachbestellt, da sonst zu trocken. Dazu der Preis.... Danke, nicht nochmal.

Nachdem im Sommer 2023 wohl der Koch aufgehört hatte, wurde die Qualität des Essens immer schlechter. Bin nicht mehr hingegangen, da das Kalbsschnitzel kein Schnitzel vom Kalb war und Pellkartoffeln statt Bratkartoffeln gereicht wurden. Heute, der Service sieht überhaupt keine neuen Gästen. Läuft im arroganten Stil an einem vorbei. Irgendwann kam sie dann. Die bestellte Gans kostet 26 € und war kälter als lauwarm. Rotkohl, Klöße Gans ,alles kälter als lauwarm. Die ersten zwei Gabeln waren auch nicht der gemackliche Hit. Kann nur die Atmosphäre empfehlen, ansonsten sind Essen und Service unterirdisch.

Wunderbarer Ort zum Treffen, Entspannen und einfach da sein, oder in echter Kaffeehaus Atmosphäre ein Buch lesen oder einfach das bunte treiben . Absolut professionelles und freundliches Personal und bunte Mischung an Gästen.

Ein sehr schönes Café…auch am Abend einen Besuch wert. Leider wurde ich gestern enttäuscht. Das Steak Egg Benedict war sehr hübsch angerichtet, aber leider war das Steak zäh und nicht genießbar. Habe es der Bedienung gemeldet, sie wollte den Chef informieren, aber nichts ist passiert. Sehr schade…musste das Gericht voll zahlen. 20 Euro für ein Brot mit Tomatenchutney, zwei Eier und Salatgarnitur….krass

Wir waren an einem Dienstag gegen 11:30 Uhr dort. Es ist ratsam zu reservieren. Getränke kamen schnell und wenige Minuten später auch schon das Essen in Gänze. Salat frisch alles perfekt gekocht / gebraten. Keinerlei Einwände sehr gute Erfahrung! Top

The food took an hour to be served, which is understandable on the weekend but the thing that upset me and ruined the whole experience was the lady at the end who was the one who was helping with each table’s bill, asked out right, before asking about the food “so how much do you want to tip”. A tip is not mandatory, a tip is my choice and not something you can request like a right. It’s basically pressuring customers… and when the tip is not enough for her she decides to pull a face or guilt trip the customers. I was so shocked and will never go back here…

This restaurant is fantastic. It's in a lovely location, and the interior is cozy. The staff is exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and provides excellent service. The breakfast is delicious, and so is the coffee. They maintain high hygiene standards. The prices could be slightly lower. They are a bit above the average, but it's definitely worth it. I've been here before, and I'll definitely visit again. I highly recommend it.

also ich war jetzt schon echt oft im Butter und wurde noch nie enttäuscht. Das Essen ist super lecker hier, vor allem das Schnitzel (welches ich auch eig jedes mal bestelle tbh), die Köche verstehen wirklich ihr Handwerk und zaubern Gerichte, die einem das Wasser im Mund zusammenlaufen lassen. Aber nicht nur das Essen ist gut sondern auch das Personal ist nett und das Ambiente ist echt schön. Ob drinnen, wo es so gemütlich ist, dass man Stunden dort verbringen könnte, oder draußen, wo man die frische Luft genießen kann, es ist einfach toll. Die Atmosphäre ist immer entspannt und einladend. Ich kann dieses Restaurant uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Es ist der perfekte Ort, um köstliches Essen in einer herzlichen Umgebung zu genießen.

Besonders lecker, das Frühstück mit den blanchierten Eiern! Es gibt auch eine vegane Variante! Ich gehe dort seit vielen Jahren frühstücken, draußen auf der Hollywoodschaukel macht’s noch mehr Spaß!

Essen ist wirklich gut! Was aber nicht gut ist, ist die Bedienung. Ich hatte heute das Vergnügen mit ein Cappuccino zu bestellen und wollte in vollen Zügen mein Kaffee genießen. Nun hat es komisch geschmeckt, höchstwahrscheinlich war die Hafermilch nicht gut. Nachdem ich die Kellnerin angesprochen habe, ob es die Hafermilch oder Haferdrink in dem Cappuccino ist, hat Sie knallhart gesagt-dass es wahrscheinlich an dem Kaffee liegt. Das war einfach ungenießbar!!! Ich habe das nur probiert und an der Seite stehen lassen. Hab es nicht getrunken und trotzdem hat Sie mir den Preis von 5 Euro berechnet. Nicht Mal gefragt hat Sie ob ich vielleicht stattdessen etwas anderes gerne trinken würde. Meine Rechnung war 41,70€. Sie hat deswegen kein Trinkgeld bekommen was ich komplett gerechtfertigt finde. Sonnst würde Sie mind. 7 Euro Trinkgeld bekommen. Das war mein erster und letzter Besuch in diesem Kaffee.

Der Café und der Service waren okay. Aber der Nudelauflauf auf der Wochenkarte ist schon frech. Als jemand der selbst aus der gastro kommt, kann ich sagen, dass da morgens ein Blech gemacht wird und dann den ganzen Tag nur jedes Stück aufgewärmt wird. Der „Auflauf“ war grad so lauwarm und der Käse oben schon pappig. Schade.

Überteuer, 50 euro zur zwei für Frühstück und das Essen ist nicht besonders leider. Laden wie diese ist voll in Berlin und die Preise steigen immer mehr und mehr auf. 6 9 Euro für eine Orangensaft "frisch gepresst"? Ich denke es ist einfach frische Orangesanft gepresst aus der Flasche. Leider nicht empfehlenswert
