The food was okay, but the selection could have been better in some areas. The prices were a bit too high for what was offered. The service was okay. The ambiance was okay, not modern.

This restaurant is simply fantastic! The atmosphere is cozy and stylish, and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was a culinary highlight—freshly prepared, beautifully presented, and simply delicious. I was particularly impressed by the variety of the menu and the high quality of the ingredients. The wine selection was also impressive and perfectly complemented the menu. I felt completely at home and will definitely be back. I stopped in for a quick bite and was very impressed with the ambiance, as walking in made me feel right at home. You’ll certainly find comfort food here. I had the Sweet Potato Soup w/ coconut & lime for a starter and my entree was the Reisencurrywurst w/ chips & cheese. Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. I could’ve had a little less curry sauce on the curry wurst, as it overpowered the sausage a bit. But, overall, the food was delicious and the service was exceptional!

We dined here as a couple. The atmosphere was lovely and cozy, the food was delicious, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The menu offered a wide selection, with something for everyone. Good value for money! Highly recommended.

Thanks to Google Maps, I stopped here for breakfast. I took advantage of the opportunity to sit outside in the sunshine this time of year. The salmon breakfast was delicious, the service very friendly, and, as I said, the breakfast was wonderful! What could be better than starting the day like this?

Cafe in the center of Rostock, the location is very convenient. The food was delicious and the portions were large, but the atmosphere in the cafe leaves much to be desired. Very noisy. The service is very good, the waiter often comes and the food is brought quickly

The schnitzel with sauce wasn't really anything special, and the price-performance ratio wasn't right. The mixed vegetables were served without any real idea, and the fries were okay. On the other hand, the grapefruit lemonade was really tasty, and the service was quick.

Unfortunately, the Camembert schnitzel was just a layer of Camembert cheese on top – it lacked a bit of seasoning and zest. The salad dressing was very strong, which wasn't to my taste. The fries, however, were good. The bruschetta was unfortunately very soft and could have been a bit crispier. The coconut soup was well-made and tasted good. Conclusion: Overall, a mediocre meal with no particular highlights. Service was good!

The breakfast was poor: as usual, the butter was only enough if you put a little on the rolls, the pastrami had an unhealthy-looking green crust, the hot chocolate was cold, the egg was hard-boiled blue (but served with a spoon), and the fruit salad was left to sit together for so long that it all tasted like apples. And when you complain, the waiter comes to your table and rudely asks you why you didn't call him to complain. For these relatively high prices, you'd at least expect friendly service... not again... The unfriendly solution was "I've taken the drinks down!"

I had to wait a while for my food, but it was worth it. The Corsican pan was delicious and more than enough for me.

We stopped in for lunch and to relax a bit after a morning of sightseeing. I had the chicken guacamole burger and a double macchiato. They were very good and the guacamole on the burger was flavorful. We all enjoyed our food.

During a day trip to Rostock, among other places, my wife and I stopped at the Burwitz Legendär. The service was friendly and attentive. We enjoyed the food very much, and we returned home feeling full. We would definitely visit again.

I'm a little disappointed. The starter was the seasoned meat, which somehow wasn't the classic seasoned meat, as it contained mushrooms with the epitome. Many people don't like mushrooms, including us; that could have been stated on the menu, and it just tasted like it had come out of a can and been warmed up. Then there was the schnitzel with Camembert, which just looked terribly carelessly slapped on and tasted like a generic mush. The burger was okay, kind of dry and salty with lots of onions (although they had already been placed next to the burger when it was brought out, so the taste wasn't bad) and just not what I'd expect for the price. Rostock has better places. We were asked if we were satisfied, and we mentioned it, and we were offered alcohol or coffee instead, which was very nice; we just don't drink, and then we were asked how we wanted to pay, even though I would have liked the churros. Somewhat disappointing. My first time was fantastic. The one waiter, someone with a name like G, stuck in my mind incredibly well because he did a fantastic job and created a great atmosphere. So, I can still recommend it for a fun evening with friends, but unfortunately, not for the food. There are simply better options there, both in terms of taste and price. :)

Went for it after asking a guide where to eat. Its a sit where you want to type of place. They have a menu in english, qr code style, and Google translate worked well on the physical German menu. Wife went for the Schnitzel, I went for the Curry Brautwurst. Waitresses are very nice, would go again if I got the chance.

You get what you expect. The service is attentive. You can always go there without hesitation.

The food was delicious. We went there twice during our 6 days in Rostock because it was so delicious. We highly recommend the vegan burgers, the vegan tarte flambée, the burwitz burger, and the currywurst.

The food and service were good. What really annoys me, however, is the rip-off with the water. They only serve tap water there. They may have a filter system, but €7.50 for a carafe of water is still outrageously expensive. As I said, it's tap water! This saves you the hassle of buying and storing crates of water and still charges the price restaurants charge for bottled water. Even that's way too much for a bottle of water, but for tap water, they're a real rip-off from the restaurateurs. P.S. Tap water is often free, by the way... just saying... I'm generally critical of the restaurants in our region when compared... the quality-price ratio is often no longer right... very unfortunate, in my opinion.

We were here in the evening for a nightcap. Was just perfect. Perfect service and the staff friendly. The next morning we went straight back here for breakfast. The price is completely wrong. The cheese breakfast was very good.

I met up with former colleagues there last night and had a lovely time. When I arrived I was warmly greeted by the staff with a beaming smile. Our service was great, everything was perfect! We girls agreed that we would love to come back. An extra compliment to Cindy! :)

We were there today with great anticipation, but unfortunately we were disappointed. It was supposed to be a nice birthday dinner. We were greeted warmly and taken to the table. I stated in advance that it was a birthday. The table was “decorated” with decorative flowers and a candle. Unfortunately, the decorative flowers were a bit dirty and the candle was also just decorative. Now about the order: The order was taken quickly and the drink came quickly too. We ordered rib mix and pork medallions. We could only eat half of the ribs because they only consisted of gristle and fat. The waitress asked if everything was OK, and we said that the ribs only consisted of cartilage and fat. Unfortunately there was no reaction to this. Unfortunately we then waited a long time until a service person came so we could pay. We paid with another service person. When paying, we explained again what the problem was. The friendly employee then told us that her colleague should have reacted and offered us either new ribs or a discount. Unfortunately we were not offered an alternative. Unfortunately, this visit and the birthday dinner were a waste.” For the price we expected better quality. Too bad...

Very friendly and attentive staff (thanks and greetings to Lara), you immediately feel welcome as a guest. The interior is original, I had never seen it before. Cozy. We just had a snack and a few drinks. Next time in Rostock we'll work our way through the menu.

We noticed a courteous service, a distinctive menu where everyone can find what they are looking for and a very nice ambience. We will definitely drop anchor here on our next visit to Rostock; )

Also der einzige Lichtblick war der Kellner der absolut nett war, aber das Essen konnte man, meiner Meinung nach völlig vergessen, das Rumpsteak war ein reiner Lederlappen, der so sehnig war das man selbst mit dem guten Messer echt zutun hatte. Zum Fisch die Haut des Fisches war lapperig also keine krossheit. Die Beilagen muss ich sagen, die Rahmsouce war beste auf meinem Teller zumindestens. Also mein Fazit in den Laden gehe ich nicht nochmal zum Essen.

Unfortunately, the food is reminiscent of system catering. We had Burwitzburger and a pasta dish. The burger was boring, patty dry, bun (spelled) sticky. The vegetarian pasta dish was served with chicken and a second time there was still chicken in the meal. The meal was done by then at the latest. The service was mediocre. Conclusion: Not recommended and overrated.
