I was here with my team of about 20 people. We had made a reservation two days in advance. When we arrived, a private room was beautifully prepared for us. Our drinks were taken and delivered promptly, and the pre-ordered food arrived after a reasonable amount of time. Everything was excellently organized. The food was delicious, and we all really enjoyed the ambiance. The payment process was well-organized and straightforward. We were completely satisfied.

Fantastic food there, really plenty of it and very tasty, even for the little ones. I would recommend making a reservation for dinner because it's a popular and good restaurant.

We had more lighter bites for lunch today, which were very tasty. Both the classic tarte flambée and the spicy goulash were delicious. The excellent Riesling at a reasonable price and the generally fair prices, coupled with very friendly service and a pleasant atmosphere, won us over. A definite recommendation! 🙂

The food was good. Service was somewhat unfriendly. A very long wait, even though the restaurant wasn't that busy.

Nice ambiance, but it's best to reserve a table. Huge portions - we were able to take the rest with us.

Update 4.9.: Had another very good hamburger – from the friendly service team. It's a shame, though, that they only serve bottled beer. Update: 14.06.: Ate there again. Chili cheeseburger. Great! Really good. It stands out from the standard offerings everywhere. 12.4.25 in the evening: Very friendly service. The atmosphere in a small alcove was great. The tarte flambée with brie was great, as were the fries with chili con carne! Conclusion: Highly recommended!

Really delicious burgers, I think the best in town. Sounds crazy, but try the Hawaii burger. The sweetness of the grilled pineapple combined with the slightly spicy sauce is a real treat.

We went there spontaneously for lunch today with five people without a reservation. Unfortunately, there was no room outside, but we had a lovely spot inside. Rustic yet modern decor, cozy atmosphere. Very attentive service, excellent quality and quantity of food. Fresh produce, not frozen schnitzel, superbly prepared. If we're in the area again, we'll visit you again. Keep up the good work...😄

Bikers 🏍️🏍️🏍️ are warmly welcome! Beautiful interiors with various themed rooms. The outdoor dining area is charming and modern with a view of the market square, in the heart of Kastellaun. Every dish looked delicious, with generous portions. The mushroom burger was a treat. The service and the owner are top-notch. 😃

We enjoyed a good, plentiful meal in a lovely setting. The service was very friendly. And they're open on Mondays. The only drawback: the chair cushions are too thin.

You can eat well in the heart of Kastellaun at the Burgwächter. My chili burger with fries was absolutely delicious, as was the vegetarian burger that we were served. The service was also attentive and courteous and the guest rooms were tastefully decorated. I'd love to come back.

We were in this beautiful restaurant with 7 adults and 2 dogs. The food is delicious and well prepared and we sat in a nice separate room. The restaurant is furnished with attention to detail. We'd love to come back.

We have been guests at the Burgwächter twice. Both times we sat in a slightly separate area, which we really liked. The main room seems rather uncomfortable. The food is very tasty. Unfortunately not many veggie dishes on the menu. Unfortunately the service leaves a lot to be desired. The waitresses were very friendly, but not at all customer-oriented. In addition, a misleading/inaccurate description on the menu resulted in me getting something that I didn't order or want. When I asked the waitress, I learned that several guests had already placed the "wrong" order due to the inaccurate information on the menu. The lady did not respond to my suggestion that this should perhaps be changed in the menu. Unfortunately, there was no accommodation or apology - at least that would have been expected at the farewell. Unfortunately, it was very similar on our first visit. Something wrong was brought to our table, but even then the "mistake" - in the eyes of the waitresses - lay with the guest. The food is really great, it's a total shame that the service doesn't adequately or poorly represent the restaurant.

Very friendly service. There is a dish with goulash soup and fries. You have to know that the soup is poured over the fries. This makes them very soft. There are probably people who like it that way, but it wasn't my taste. The rest of the dishes were delicious. I think the price of a potato without everything for over seven euros and a portion of ketchup for one euro are a bit high. Otherwise nice restaurant.

I haven't eaten so well in a long time. The Schnitzelturm crap is not for cowards. Well prepared and the fries were a poem. The pulled pork burger was huge and almost impossible to eat. The service was extremely friendly. We'll be back.

Unfortunately we couldn't finish everything, the portions were very generous. But we were able to take the rest with us, so we're looking forward to it tomorrow. In my opinion, the schnitzel Mediterranean was too dry, very, very poorly seasoned and I suspect it came from the deep fryer. The sauces served with it were okay, but nothing more. With Schnitzel Mediterranean I was hoping for more than a little tomato and mozzarella on the meat. The salad and fries were good. The service at the table, we sat outside, was very good. The price is definitely way too high for what is on offer.

The food was very tasty, there is a great selection of really good burgers. The service probably had a lot to do, but they did a good job and we were very satisfied. Blankets are available for outside if it gets cold. We definitely recommend eating out!

Perfection! Vegan requests were taken into account, and each of the components on the wide-ranging starter plate was completely convincing in terms of taste and quality. You can't fault the main course either, the quality of the meat was excellent, but also the preparation of a vegetarian version. The sauces for the fries were also excellent and varied. The meal was rounded off with a chocolate cake whose center was wonderfully liquid and really flavorful vanilla ice cream with a little topping. Service was also very friendly, attentive and professional. If this quality is really always delivered like it was last night, I can only strongly recommend everyone to visit this location and will do so more regularly myself.

We had burgers and they were very tasty. We like the ambience, rustic with references to the castle. Very tastefull. Even though we hadn't made a reservation, the friendly staff were able to offer us a seat. Drinks should also be available in 0.5 instead of 0.33. But that's ok, we just ordered a second drink 😄

I was eating at the burgwächter until a service person appeared at the table. It took 30 minutes. After ordering, it took another 1.5 hours for the food to arrive at the table. The ambience was actually okay, but unfortunately it was very carelessly decorated, the candles were all made of the appropriate material and weren't very atmospheric

Wir waren heute mit einer Gruppe von 29 Personen im Burgwächter. Hat alles sehr gut geklappt. Das Essen war lecker und der Service Freundlich. Gerne wieder.

Seit langem nicht mehr so gut gegessen. Essen sehr gut. Personal super nett und sehr zuvorkommend. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen. Kann man nur empfehlen.

Obwohl nicht alles ausgebucht war auch nicht nachdem wir gingen,mussten wir leider in den Keller an ein Stehfass mit Hocker,dies wurde uns zwar gesagt,aber schöner wäre es oben gewesen und dür ne std hätte das sicher gepasst.Aber Hauptsache wir konnten was essen.Leider die Preise von Getränken sehr teuer und alles nur in kl.flaschen.auch kein Bier vom Fass.Der Plus Punkt geht aber an das Essen.Burger und Beilagen waren gut und ausreichend und dem Preis angemessen. Personal war trotz das es noch leer war sehr überfordert.Aber das nur zur Anregung.

Sehr schönes Restaurant mit Ritterlichem Charme. Da es ausgebucht war haben wir unten in der Ecke an einem Fass noch ein Plätzchen bekommen. Gemütlicher wäre es natürlich oben gewesen aber besser als nichts . Die Burger waren wirklich lecker und preislich angemessen. Ist ein Besuch wert wer in der Nähe ist.

Ein besonderes Lokal mit rustikalem Ambiente im alten Stadtkern von Kastellaun. Sehr anspechend eingerichtet. Essen wird frisch zubereitet und schmeckt sehr lecker. Küche geht auf Kundenwünsche ein. Alle Burger werden auch als "Vegetaisches Gericht" angeboten. Gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Viele Parkplätze in unmittelbarer Nähe. Wir waren begeistert und kommen gerne wieder!

Es ist mein absolutes Lieblingslokal in Kastellaun. Schon oft mit Freunden dort gewesen. Heut mal nur zu zweit und wieder super gegessen. Und vor allem einen wunderschönen Platz für zwei gehabt. Toller Service und das Ambiente ist unbeschreiblich. Ich freue mich schon auf Morgen. Dann stelle ich nämlich das Lokal einer Freundin vor!!! Und ich bin sicher, es wird ihr auch gefallen.

Das Essen war sehr lecker die Portion groß, es war schön angerichtet auf den Teller. Auch die Vorspeise war lecker. Gegessen haben wir einen Schnitzelturm und einen steakhous Burger mit Wedges, als Vorspeise Kräuterbrot mit einem Beilagensalat. Das Personal war freundlich.

Ein sehr leckeres Essen, egal ob Burger oder Steak. Wünsche werden voll berücksichtigt. Macht richtig Laune hier zu essen und so soll es sein. Zum Glück keine Standard Gerichte. Ist ein Muss, muss man gewesen sein!
