Good burgers for a great price!

Burgermeister was recommended to me based on research I did on YouTube and other resources. I decided to check it out and I can tell you the burgers are terrific! I also was impressed with the service process. It’s organized and it goes very smoothly. Some of the fast food restaurants in the US could take a lesson!;). If you like the traditional burgers and fries, this is definitely a place to visit!

Very busy but food came in good time and tasted amazing. Would recommend - get a milkshake!

Burgermeister is no longer the must go place for burger fans in Berlin. They have updated their menu a lot and swapped their beverage brand to mainstream. If you're looking for an ok burger , then that's your place. The only recommendation on this place are the fries , they are still pretty good

Amazing burgers, fries very good and the mango milkshake was a very unique thing to try! Prices are fairly cheap and definitely worth it for the quality of the food! 5/5 stars would for sure go again.

Even though the food is greasy, salty, and unhealthy for sure, for some unknown reasons I still enjoy having this food. Dunno what is the matter with their double cheeseburgers, but I can't say no to it😂

Restaurant well located on Alexanderplatz. Typical hamburger restaurant, modern and with always fresh food. We ate two different hamburgers, which were good, and the fries with bacon and onion too. Fast service! They're not the best I've ever had, but they're worth trying.

One of my favorite burger in Berlin!! Especially burgermeister fries are special! It doesn’t look special but the tastes are special. I sometimes only take away fries!

I can't understand Mr. Raue's assessment. Maybe we should have tried the other store where the chef was. In any case, we found that the patties were very salty... Fries are very good. Service no star, if you don't have any service you can't rate anything.

A simple burger but more expensive than normal fast food, I had higher expectations

The best burger I've ever eaten, as are the fries. You can add sauces as many times as you want.

We ate very well there. No shi-shi, there are burgers of various types, fries (drinks of course) and dessert - that's it! And in my opinion they do it well! The burger tastes very good, the ambience is reduced, the toilets are very clean, everything is fine!

I ordered it via Lieferando, but I was very disappointed. Truly the worst burger in my life. As most have already written here in the reviews. Horrible. Too bad. Burgers came from Alexanderplatz.

The food was very tasty and despite there being a lot of customers, the food came relatively quickly, it took about 5 minutes to arrive. I liked how the old subway station was transformed into a nice restaurant. We paid around 30 euros for 3 cheeseburgers, a cheese fries, 2 Coca Cola Zeros and a regular Coca Cola. Overall it was a pretty good experience but the toilets could have been cleaned more often, it smelled terrible. Nonetheless, it was definitely great again👍🏼.

I had plain burger and it was really good, not the best I ever had, therefore 1* less. Fries were very well done. I personally prefer it to other chains, it's much better, especially meat, and the whole burger it's well rounded. There's no service at the table, but we didn't wait long for food

Cheap and good, in the heart of Alexanderplatz.

Small, nice location for a quick burger in between, whether for the lunch break or a meeting with friends after work, Burgermeister is always good. Prices are reasonable for the quality. The absolute favorite is the master of all classes, a total taste explosion with the right amount of spiciness for everyone. If possible, order fries with a milkshake for another taste miracle ;). All in all, very nice again. But sometimes it can take a while because the store is 80% overcrowded.

The burger wasn't bad. But we loved the chocolate chip cookie/brownie, whatever it is, the most.

I went here with my 12 year old son on a visit to Berlin, we both had a cheeseburger, shared fries and he had a milkshake. Everything was delicious and freshly cooked to order. The portion sizes are enormous and my son said his milkshake was the best he's ever had.

The sink in the men's toilet was full of vomit

Took way too long for it to be considered fast food. The fries were not fragrant at all, the burger was okayish. Not worth the wait and money, better go to McDonald‘s

Unfortunately I don't have many pictures of the food. I was there two days in a row. Mega long opening hours, full hut every day. Despite everything, it's really quick and freshly prepared in front of you. You order at the machine and there is a number on it. Cheeseburger was very good..the fries with cheese dip also a 10/10. I drove a few minutes to the hotel and even there you could still eat the fries. Warmest recommendation for this fast food restaurant.

Had the “meister aller klassen”: double beef patty with bacon, jalapeño, tomato lettuce, cheese and sauce. Beef patties were a bit dry, but everything else wasn’t. But above all can’t beat the price (!). Also good & quick service. Overall rating: 4.5/5

You can't go there on a Saturday evening, it's super crowded and just uncomfortable. But somehow this applies to half of Berlin!

I came to a different Burgermeister when I visited Berlin a few years ago. Visited this one on a whim, expecting the same quality, disappointed. Burger was very dry, for a normal basic cheese burger the dryness kills the experience. Fries with cheese sauce is all right, but unsatisfying after a very mediocre burger. Something was lost along with the addition of those mcdonald like terminals.

Very average burger. I expected much more from it. The burger did not surprise me with anything and tasted completely ordinary. The bun is uninteresting, the meat is overcooked, the garnish is unimaginative. It had a bit more mustard that cut through everything else. I do not recommend, I prefer another fast food.

Super tasty burgers 🍔 and fries 🍟 The store was extremely full, but we still managed to get a seat relatively quickly. Uncomplicated ordering on the self-order monitor. A little loud and hectic, but the food made up for it.

Tastes soooo nice and in a good price, and I think it’s better than five guys personally. The milkshake is quite thick and sweet but still very nice.

A classic American burger joint. Terminals to order and just over 5 burgers to choose from. Drinks prices are exorbitant but comparable to a snack bar. The taste of the Meisterburger is not particularly unique, so a different variety is recommended!

Delivery is a disaster. Orders are accepted, you wait for over an hour and don't get delivery. Service on the phone is even worse than ordering online.

I liked them a lot and I have tried quite a few in Mexico and the USA, the onion and bacon in the delicious fries

Absolutely terrible place. Extremely overcrowded, people are SCREAMING that much so you have a hearing loss for several hours after, a lot of weirdos, addicts, scammers. Waiting time for your order is around 30(!!!) minutes after the moment you pay. Significantly overpriced. Food is also way worse than I expected from my previous experiences with Burgemeister, looks like it's 20 minutes old and you didn't get it straight away only because of organizational nightmare they have. Apparently, they were not so bad long ago, but now they can only be a tourist trap with fake ratings.

Super tasty burgers... The fries with cheese sauce were also simply delicious... Otherwise I always need ketchup and mayonnaise, but the cheese was enough for the fries... We'll be happy to come back...

The burger compared to the picture is a joke... The price for 2 burgers, 2x fries and 2 drinks is sporty.. Burgers weren't anything special...unfortunately...we had high hopes...

Service was slow (about 20 mins from ordering) for a fast food place but the food was delicious. We were visiting Berlin and absolutely had to try Burgermeister while we were there. 100% worth it. Order screens make it easy to order if you are visiting from overseas.

Very good burgers, the best burger chain in Berlin, more homemade and with a vegan option, there is no chicken burger. Pretty well priced. The reaction of potatoes very abundant; enough to share and very good. Brilliant !

We waited quite a long time for the food. The food was very average. The onion in the burger tasted strange. The fries with cheese were great, but the fries with bacon were quite strange.

The burgers and especially the fries with cheese and onions or bacon are really good. We ate there two days in a row. Well attended and the staff were also very, very friendly. A clear recommendation from us.

So unfortunately I haven't been able to try any food yet but the staff is admittedly the best there is anywhere. The service when we bought something to drink was extremely nice and we were able to eat outside on the benches without buying anything, unlike at the kebab shop. We were also allowed to use the toilet and the graffiti on the toilet is very cool. LG Felix

A really, really good burger shop right on Alexanderplatz in Berlin. The burger is well done, but very juicy, has a good taste of meat and no frozen stuff! The buns are also great and well toasted. The prices are also okay, especially for the good location. I can absolutely recommend this store!

Burgermeister is a "fast food" chain that is different from the usual ones. Good quality burgers and their delicious natural potatoes! It is a site that I highly recommend. They have several options of burgers and fries and with a pretty good price. They make them to you at the moment and it is not like other chains where you eat the fries cold.

Ordering was quick. All extras could be booked or deselected on the ordering tablet. This also went without any problems. The food was very tasty, not too much not too little. It was prepared quickly The toilets are indeed smeared. But we are in Berlin, what else would you expect? Nevertheless, they were clean and you could even sit down.

The burger is more McDonald's style (no offense) than a typical burger restaurant due to the bun and rather thin, well-done meat, which makes it a bit dry. Overall, a positive feeling, a good burger and interesting fries with cheese. The food was generally heavy and greasy, but tasty.

Good place to get out of trouble

Good burgers, a lot of waiting (the staff doesn't seem to be in a hurry in the kitchen), and an unpleasant person at the order collection point. When you don't want to have to talk to people, a simple machine producing stickers with order numbers works wonders and saves everyone time. Poor choice of drinks

These are so unappetizing that you hardly want to enter them - the hygienic standards here are simply unacceptable. Another problem concerns staff. It is noticeable that although employees wear gloves, they continue to use them even after using the toilet, which raises questions about hygiene. Regardless of the nationality of the employees - which should have no influence on the quality of the work - it is important that strict hygiene regulations are adhered to in a catering establishment. Overall, Burgermeister remains a place that can definitely be recommended for the quality of the food. However, urgent measures should be taken to improve hygiene conditions so that the entire experience reflects the high standards of the cuisine.

Good food: Tasty and juicy burgers and fries are also okay. However, I would criticize the price-performance ratio, as you pay a little more here to really feel full. The store was reasonably clean, but of course it could be better: tables were dirty and the trash wasn't cleared away. Toilets were clean. The ordering process was easy thanks to the tablets, but I think there are too few tablets and there can be a longer wait for the tablets. One thing to criticize is the lack of seating options in a full store, which of course also depends on the time of day. In general I would give the shop an 8.2/10 and recommend it to anyone for a delicious burger.

The free tour guide recommended it to us and the truth is that it is worth it. The burgers are delicious. They are expensive, yes. Almost 10 euros a burger.

Ordered using the machine inside which was simple and easy as you could select your chosen language. It did take awhile to get the food considering it wasn’t that busy. Burgers and fries were good so can’t really go wrong. Drinks in glass bottles are always nicer and a pleasant surprise as that’s not common in the uk! Self service station for sauces.

The main problem was that the patties were very overcooked, nearly burnt. The buns and the sauces were good, and the fries were excellent. But that cannot save a burger joint. The patties are a deal breaker, and they were awful. Couldnt finish the meal, and also it was really hot inside in a cool evening.

Delicious burgers. Avoid going to McDonalds or Burger King. This place is nice and cheap. The Chilli Cheese burger is beautifully made.
