We were here for a long weekend. Taking our dog with us wasn't a problem. The rooms are nicely furnished and the room had a large bathroom. Everyone was friendly and helpful, the breakfast and the food in the restaurant were delicious. We'll definitely come back.

Two of us had booked the biker arrangement and were very satisfied with the package. Booking didn't work via the homepage, but was able to be made quickly in a phone call and then an email. Nice welcome from the owner, quick check-in and very friendly service in the beer garden/restaurant. The meal times could be communicated and set in two sentences every day. Motorcycles were safely parked in our own large parking lot. Could have had a carport which we didn't see as necessary. Rooms tidy and comfortable. We were very satisfied with the breakfast and dinner. Yummy. Only the price of the beer...but we wanted to ride a motorbike and not drink 😉 I would book it again at any time. A cozy hotel where you should definitely take a break. There is a dam nearby where you can enjoy nature. I really enjoyed my time in the Bürgerklause! Dogs are also welcome guests here.

A very nice hotel, very nice service and the boss is great. You immediately feel comfortable. Free parking at the hotel and bicycles can be stored in the garage. From here you can go on beautiful bike tours. The breakfast buffet is very rich and the food is of the finest quality. The rooms are great, some with a balcony or terrace. We'll definitely be back!

We stayed at the Bürgerklause for a weekend and can absolutely recommend the hotel. The hotel is right on the main street, but we had a ground floor room at the back with a small terrace and electric shutters. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired, there are various rolls, salmon, fresh fruit and a fully automatic coffee machine. Scrambled and fried eggs can be prepared upon request. But what makes this hotel an absolute tip is Mr. Tapken himself. Always nice, always with a saying on your lips, just great, you immediately feel at home. We booked our stay with a travel voucher and therefore the price-performance ratio was unbeatable...we will definitely be back...New travel voucher has already been purchased ;-)

We were there as business travelers for an overnight stay and for a seminar. The hotel is very clean and the breakfast is extensive. I would particularly like to emphasize the good service. Always with a relaxed attitude and very accommodating. I can recommend the hotel without hesitation.

I booked the hotel through My Days. Room was good, bathroom was also good. The location is also ok, you can drive to many destinations that we wouldn't be able to drive to from home. But the absolute highlight is the staff. Eagl whether you are a boss, head chef or staff, you would also get 10 points from us.

We were there last weekend from Friday to Sunday. We received a very friendly welcome and check-in was quick. The room was very clean and modernly furnished. The service at breakfast was very good and the selection at the buffet was sufficient. We'd love to come back.

Gutes und leckeres Essen leider mit einem Fauxpas da die Abrechnung von zwei großen Tischen verwechselt wurde. Dies ist den Mitarbeitern des Hauses zwar noch aufgefallen aber die Überraschung für unsere eingeladenen Tischgäste war dahin. Natürlich hat man sich entschuldigt. Im Nachhinein vielleicht zum Schmunzeln aber es ging hier um einen knapp dreistelligen Betrag. Bei allem Stress bitten wir um mehr Sorgfalt, denn die Rechnung nach Verlassen des Restaurants zu korrigieren hätte sich mit Sicherheit als schwierig gestaltet.

Das Team ist unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir sind mit Hund angereist und wurden überall herzlich empfangen. Egal ob im Restaurant, beim Frühstück oder im Zimmer: Unser Hund durfte überall dabei sein. Alles war liebevoll eingerichtet und das Essen dort ganz große Klasse. Der Inhaber selbst erkundigte sich nach unserem Wohlbefinden und war trotz extrem hoher Auslastung stets guter Laune. Alles in allem ein sehr angenehmer, erholsamer Aufenthalt! Es ist ein schönes gepflegtes Hotel.Das Frühstück ist auch Super. Werden mit Sicherheit wieder dort einchecken.

Wir waren zum Essen dort. Modern, aber gemütlich, der Service ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Essen ist super lecker, die Preise angemessen. Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert!

Wir waren heute spontan in der Bürgerklause essen. Das Restaurant ist modern und gemütlich eingerichtet. Das Personal ist freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war mega lecker und mit viel Liebe arrangiert… Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist auch perfekt.. Rundum sehr zu empfehlen!!!!

Trotz später Anreise ein freundlicher Empfang im Hotel bekommen. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich, der Chef ist auch eine tolle Persönlichkeit. Die Angestellten wissen was sie tun. Die Zimmer waren sauber und gut ausgestattet und die Betten waren auch bequem. Auch wenn das Hotel an der Hauptstraße liegt is es sehr ruhig da die zimmer auf die andere seite gehen. Die Lage ist auch sehr gut man ist überall wo man hin möchte schnell dort. Wir würden wieder kommen

Die Zimmer sind modisch eingerichtet das Personal ist super nett und hilfsbereit. Im Restaurant gibt es richtig gute Gerichte. Sehr lecker. Wir haben und hier sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen wieder.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in der Bürgerklause. Sehr guter Service. Schönes Restaurant mit sehr gutem Essen!!! Wir haben daraufhin beide Abende dort im Restaurant verbracht! Sehr netter Chef. Top Mitarbeiter, sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich! Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis! Reichhaltiges Frühstücksbüffet! Im Hof ein eigener Hotelparkplatz! Es war sogar eine Unterstell Möglichkeit für unsere E-Bikes vorhanden mit angrenzender Ladestation und Fahrradflickzeug!!

Wir hatten ein sehr schönes Wochenende in der Bürgerklause Tapken. Das Hotel liegt zentral an der Hauptstraße von Garrel. Sämtliche Geschäfte für den täglichen Bedarf sind fußläufig erreichbar. Garrel ist ideal als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge mit dem Fahrrad oder Auto. Wir wurden sehr freundlich vom Chef empfangen. Das Zimmer war genauso wie auf der Internetseite beschrieben. Es fehlte an nichts. Bad und Zimmer waren sauber und wir fühlten uns direkt sehr wohl. Elektrische Rollos sorgten für die Verdunkelung sowie die ruhige Lage des Zimmers für einen guten Schlaf. Schön war auch die kleine Sitzgelegenheit auf der Terrasse. Der Parkplatz liegt geschützt im Hinterhof. Wir haben an beiden Abenden im Hotelrestaurant gegessen und waren begeistert. Das Essen war lecker und reichlich. Das geschmackvoll eingerichtete Restaurant sehr gemütlich. Auf jeden Fall sollte man einen Tisch reservieren! Das Frühstücksbuffet war auch sehr gut. Für jeden Geschmack war etwas dabei. Speisen und Getränke wurden ständig aufgefüllt. Ausserdem stand ein Kaffeevollautomat mit verschiedenen Getränken zusätzlich zur Verfügung. Vielen Dank nochmal an das freundliche und aufmerksame Team der Bürgerklause. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Es ist einfach ein sehr gutes Hotel mit einem perfekten Service. Das Frühstück ist ausgezeichnet und lässt keine Wünsche offen, auch das Restaurant ist zu empfehlen. Wir waren in der Zwischenzeit zum vierten Mal in dem Hotel.

So schnell habe ich mich in einem Hotel noch nie wohlgefühlt. Man wird sehr nett empfangen und es stimmte einfach alles. Liebe Grüße an den Chef und die Seniorchefin.

Am Service und den Zimmern gibt es nichts auszusetzen. Leider liegt der Festsaal unter den Zimmern wobei es dann schon mal laut werden kann... Vom Standort her liegt es nicht sonderlich gut da es mitten im Ort an der Hauptstraße liegt. Viel Verkehr...

Wir haben uns aufgrund der positiven Bewertungen für die Bürgerklause Tapken entschieden und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Alle sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Zimmer klein, aber fein mit kleinem Balkon. Gemütliches Bett. Reichhaltiges Frühstück mit frischem Obst. Und besonders gut hat uns das köstliche Essen im Restaurant gefallen unter anderem auch viel Auswahl an vegetarischen Speisen. Insgesamt hatten wir ein sehr schönes Wochenende. Vielen lieben Dank an Herrn Tapken und sein Team. Wir kommen wieder.

Nice hotel. Not to far from centre and several restaurants. Though grilling specialty in Hotel is recommended. Great private parking area. Tablet with WiFi in the room. But temporary connection problems where they work on. Long time since I hadn't slept on a waterbed. So good relaxed night.
