Very poor service Waited over an hour for the food

The burgers are really tasty, normal size. The sweet potato fries are delicious. The staff is friendly.

I can only recommend the good burgers and delicious desserts. I recommend reserving a table if you're dining with four people, just to be on the safe side.

Huge selection of delicious burgers and fries. Also great for vegetarians! The service was very friendly 👍🏼 Beautifully designed restaurant. My only criticism: it would be cool if you could install a fold-out changing table downstairs near the restrooms! It was really awkward changing the baby on the cold floor.

The food is delicious, the head waitress is very nice, but the waiting time was far too long (while we were waiting, seven or eight Lieferados and the like were being processed. It's not possible. And sitting right at the door or near it in the winter was cold as hell. A heavy curtain would help, but there wasn't. Maybe I'll come back in the summer without being too hungry.

The Double Smashburger is to die for. Nice soft bun, delicious patties, good sauces and everything perfectly balanced in relation to each other 👌🏼

The food was very good and was prepared very quickly. The price for citizens is also quite good.

Unfortunately I have to report the same as previous reviewers. The order was mixed up. Then a new one promised, unfortunately Wolt didn't work that out and the old one arrived cold after another 3/4 hour, and the taste was also rather mediocre. The telephone connection is also very poor, which makes smooth communication with the staff very difficult acoustically.

Unfortunately very cold and the ceiling light was too bright. Would recommend some decorations on the tables instead of the worn placemats. Staff was very friendly and food was okay.

Very tasty and great prices. Nevertheless, be sure to check the bill for the drinks, we recently discovered that your cash register system didn't match the card. But we received the money we overpaid back. Staff very friendly.

A generous selection of veggie and vegan options, but unfortunately nothing more. The burgers were nothing special, small, some cold and the fries were hard fried. Dips with the fries for €9 cost another €1.90 extra. We ordered two portions of fries, one of which wasn't even brought. When we asked, we were told "I'll check again" and then no one came anymore. Another positive thing to note is that we were able to get a place on Friday evening without a reservation, but there was a time limit and we had to wait an hour for our food, so we were swept out quite hectically afterwards. Eternally long queues of delivery people with whom the Burgerheart employees were visibly overwhelmed. It would certainly make sense to stop the delivery service on the weekend and concentrate on the guests present in the restaurant. My friend had a voucher that she redeemed for a drink of her choice. In the end, this drink was included in our bill and we had to disassemble everything again. So all in all, it really wasn't a nice start to the weekend. Unfortunately, a shop that defines itself by burgers and fries and then brings something like that to the table makes absolutely no sense to me. However, if I had ordered a burger in a kebab shop and gotten what was available to us at Burgerheart, I would have been satisfied. But is that the claim? We wanted to try it out, but probably won't come back again.

We reserved a table for 4 people for 6 p.m. At 6:15 p.m., drinks were at the table after the entire order had been placed. Unfortunately there is still no food at the table until 7.30 p.m. We now move on to the next kebab. So I can't say anything about the food. Service was also poor because no one came to ask if we wanted anything new. My conclusion: it's better to go somewhere else if you don't have 4 hours.

Always a pleasure. Burgers and fries as well as sauces and drinks are very tasty. Service is also very friendly. Leipzig is an ideal place to eat burgers. Highly recommended.

I've been eating here several times a week since last year and have always been super satisfied, but unfortunately the meat from the burger has turned into something negative, the quality has simply decreased...

The service was poor and the fries were cold. The burger and the rest were okay.

Unfortunately, the veggie burger wasn't really warm and barely fried. Unfortunately, the fries were also rather lukewarm and not very crispy. The smash burger, on the other hand, was very tasty and still hot. Nevertheless, it took about 40 minutes for the food to arrive, which is a bit long for an empty restaurant.

The placemats have seen better days and the loud music at lunchtime, alternating between rap and Lana del Rey, was also pretty questionable but good, you get to eat. There are 2 vegan burgers, better than nothing but nothing new for years. The burgers are edible if you don't have high expectations. But the sweet potato fries don't work at all, they are served in fatty lumps and the rest is burnt. Guacamole was inedibly sour, the sauce on the burger was the same this time. My friend ordered the same thing as me, later realizing that he got a lunch deal, but I didn't. Well, we know where we're not going anymore...

Very nice shop with a super pleasant atmosphere (extra photo for impression), the employees all do their best and are still nice and friendly like no other. Both the veggies taste good too. Burgers like normal beef burgers are very good and you don't have to wait too long for them, although you also have to praise how they don't skimp on ingredients here. All in all, a recommendation.

We were there on November 30th, 2024. We were hungry and noticed Burgerheart while walking. So go into the store (pretty busy) We were approached by a nice young lady and she asked if we wanted to wait at the counter? We would then get the next free table and after the table was cleared we were allowed to sit down. You can scan the card using the QR code and choose your dishes; the order is taken personally. I chose the Double Smashburger with sweet potato fries. Simply awesome🤩 Juicy, super seasoned, nice and hot, not sticky or mushy, for me a perfect burger. The fries were really great too! The other ladies (girls😊) who served us were also impressive with their friendliness and obvious passion for their work. The next time we are in Leipzig we will go there again.

The service was very nice and accommodating, the burgers were also tasty but I think there could be more. The fries were quite tasty, but not great for the price. There is definitely more for the price-performance ratio. The homemade lemonades were very good. We'd love to come back.

We have been here several times. Whether at low capacity or at full capacity, the staff is friendly, extremely attentive and the waiting times are absolutely humane. The food tastes wonderful and has nothing to do with boring fast food. The ambience is very cozy, but a bit of room separation wouldn't be bad for the volume. So far we have always spontaneously gotten a seat with 2-3 people, but it is recommended to reserve a table. We would love to come back. Dear team, keep it up, you're great!

Yesterday the three of us ended up at Burgerheart by chance and found it pleasant. Nice atmosphere, delicious cocktails. Burgers and fries were good and we found the very young staff nice, attentive and very friendly. Normal prices.

We didn't reserve beforehand. Although the house was full, we were kindly offered an alternative. Service was very nice and everyone always tried to do their best. Would go here again and again. Top performance!

Bergerheart in Leipzig was a great choice for dinner. The Chuck Norris burger was packed with bold flavors and lived up to its name, while the Killer Kowalski veggie burger was equally impressive, offering a delicious and hearty vegetarian option. The original Bergerheart Fries were the perfect side crispy and flavorful. The cozy atmosphere and friendly service made the meal even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for a tasty burger night!

You can expect it to be busier, especially at weekend evenings, but we still got a table and were served very nicely. The food was great and we had a lovely evening here!

It is a nice restaurant with a large selection of burger dishes (also a lot of vegetarian ones) and also delicious fries creations. We had to wait a little longer for our food (approx. 50 minutes), but since we were in a larger group, that's okay because everyone got their food at the same time, but some of the burgers weren't that warm anymore. So if you go with a few people you shouldn't have this problem.

It is one of not many burgers in Leipzig that I truly enjoy. But only to dine in. Otherwise, with delivery, food usually arrives soggy. I generally like the place.

Ich habe gestern im Restaurant "Burgerheart Leipzig" Burger für 5 Personen inkl. Pommes bestellt. Insgesamt habe ich dafür stattliche 73 € gezahlt. Ich hatte online bestellt und wollte die Bestellung zum vereinbarten Termin abholen. Leider hat es "Burgerheart Leipzig"nicht hinbekommen die Bestellung zum angegebenen Zeitpunkt trotz Vorlauf von mehr als 2 Stunden pünktlich fertigzustellen. Ich musste vor Ort fast noch 30 Minuten warten. Als ich dann zuhause hungrig und genervt angekommen bin, stellte ich fest, dass die mir überreichte Tüte nicht die bestellten Pommes enthielt. Zudem waren die Burger auch nur noch lauwarm. Ich rief sofort bei "Burgerheart Leipzig" an und schilderte den Fall. Die Dame teilte mir mit, dass sie die Angelegenheit mit der Geschäftsführung besprechen wird und wahrscheinlich den Rechnungsbetrag für das schlechte Kundenerlebnis zurückerstatten wird. Leider kam kein versprochener Anruf, sondern nur die Rückerstattung für die Pommes. Sorry, "Burgerheart Leipzig" aber guter Service sieht echt anders aus. Wäre es so schwer gewesen ein akzeptables Angebot zu machen? Ich werde euch in Zukunft jedoch nie wieder nutzen und auch jedem davon abraten bei euch zu essen!! Dann lieber zu Peter Pan oder Hans im Glück.

Yesterday I ordered burgers for 5 people including fries at the “Burgerheart Leipzig” restaurant. In total I paid an impressive €73 for it. I had ordered online and wanted to pick up the order at the agreed time. Unfortunately, "Burgerheart Leipzig" was unable to complete the order on time at the specified time despite more than 2 hours' notice. I had to wait almost 30 minutes on site. When I arrived home hungry and annoyed, I discovered that the bag given to me didn't contain the fries I ordered. In addition, the burgers were only lukewarm. I immediately called “Burgerheart Leipzig” and described the case. The lady informed me that she will discuss the matter with management and will probably refund the invoice amount for the poor customer experience. Unfortunately there was no promised call, only a refund for the fries. Sorry, "Burgerheart Leipzig" but good service really looks different. Would it have been so difficult to make an acceptable offer? However, I will never use you again in the future and I will also advise anyone not to eat at your place!! Then go to Peter Pan or Hans im Glück.

Yesterday about 1 pm I was waiting for a waitress in an empty hall. Only one table was occupied. I sat at another table, but some time of ignorance I had to leave the place without being able to make an orde.

I had dinner there with family and friends. The food was very tasty and beautifully prepared. However, we had to wait almost an hour for the food and unfortunately my burger was a bit cold, hence the star deduction. There was also enough choice of vegetarian/vegan dishes. The fries and dessert still turned out well and were very tasty. The staff was always friendly and the atmosphere was nice to look at. I'll definitely come back there.

Pulled pork burger was 10/10, great taste, delicious sauce, and the price was great too

Nice place, very good food and lots of choice of "loaded" chips, like the fryan Reynolds in the photo. Tasty burgers, not too big in size. We waited half an hour after ordering and the waitress offered us a dessert, which was very good, to apologize for the wait. Recommended place.

Simply always super sexy burgers, everything extremely tasty and the waiters are always extremely nice and good at their jobs. 🫶 After a lot of trying around, it's definitely my favorite burger shop in Leipzig. You can also afford it here as a student, especially with the lunch offer and the newsletter. I especially recommend the burger with goat cheese.

I recently visited this burger joint and I have to say I'm extremely disappointed. The wait time was simply outrageous! I waited over an hour for my burger, while other customers who arrived later had already received their food. It was frustrating to watch the staff working slowly and disorganized. When you're hungry, the last thing you need is such a long wait. While the burger was okay in the end, it doesn't justify the patience I had to muster. I won't be visiting this joint again. Totally unprofessional!

Very good burger restaurant, I would even say the best in Leipzig. Very good and friendly service. Food looks very attractive and tastes good. Priced well too. Very nice atmosphere. However, there was an unpleasant smell in the women's toilets that was very pungent.

Needs improvement" Where should I start .. Service, yes you don't feel welcome, you are not taken into account. No questions or a smile. Benches very uncomfortable. Quality of the food, not satisfactory, guacamole dried out, fries cold and wet, burgers cold and hardly a cucumber to be found. Dry pulled pork with BBQ sauce on it was nowhere to be found. The best were the Onion Rings. We won't be coming back. Price/performance is not met. Had to wait 1 hour 10 minutes.

I would have expected much more for the price - the price-performance ratio here is incomprehensible. The burgers tasted good, but were pretty standard in terms of size and taste. It looked like the ingredients had been saved. Salad actually doesn't cost much and would significantly improve the burger presentation. The “loaded fries” were a joke. They arrived cold, the melted cheese was already hard again and the gravy was completely absorbed into the fries. It felt like they had been standing around for 15 minutes before they came to our table. And for almost 9 euros the portion was really a disgrace. I definitely cannot recommend the store and will never come back. However, the service was super nice, you have to give them that.

Really delicious burgers with homemade burger buns! A large selection of burgers (meat, vegetarian, vegan!), different types of bread (including breadless burgers) and delicious homemade lemonade. The lady who met us today 9/21/24. The person who served her was also super friendly and you could tell that she really enjoyed her job. A very nice visit to the restaurant!! Definitely a recommendation in Leipzig! :)

Das Burgerheart in der Leipziger Innenstadt haben wir an einem späteren Samstagabend für ein paar Drinks aufgesucht. Aufgrund der lauen Temperaturen konnten wir ganz prima draußen sitzen und wurden sehr schnell bedient. Wir haben zwei spezielle Limos, ein Bier und ein Wasser bestellt. Es wurde alles sehr schnell geliefert und hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Preislich liegt das in einem akzeptablen Bereich, ist aber auch nicht ganz günsitg.

WOW! The service is absolutely impressive. My friend and I ordered around 9 p.m. and then received a friendly call because we were worried that our food wouldn't arrive. So the order was canceled and we ordered again via another platform. The food has never disappointed us. Keep it up!!! ☺️

The restaurant is very stylishly decorated and the service was also extremely friendly. Unfortunately the food is not worth the price. I had a bacon cheeseburger and was very disappointed with the taste. This wasn't just me at the table. Of course, tastes are different, but for the price you can expect a product that doesn't taste completely boring. It's a shame - this will be my only visit.

Cheeseburgers and haloumi burgers were delicious, the fries were crispy, hot and delicious! However, the extra cheddar was forgotten. The additional price was kindly deducted from our bill without any complications. Overall good impression, but I found the burgers a bit small at a price of €11-12. All in all, I would come back.

After we were assigned our table, we studied the menu with great burger creations. Unfortunately it took a while for our order to be taken and no one asked for drinks. While we were waiting, we noticed three burgers go from the next table back into the kitchen. When our burgers were served they looked really good. However, when I first grabbed it, I noticed that the bun was cold. My companion's bread roll was also cold. After politely asking, our burgers were brought back to the kitchen with the comment “they would remake it”. Less than 2 minutes later we were served them again - hot, but obviously just warmed up, not freshly prepared. As you can imagine, that was the end of my companion's goat cheese burger in particular. The consistency of my chili cheese was not (anymore?) what I expected. The burgers tasted good, but lacked the “Wow!” feeling after a great burger. The fries and the soda, however, were great. The ambience is as usual in this type of restaurant. However, it was so loud that normal conversation was hardly possible. Neither with each other at the table nor with the service staff. Here you could make the music a little quieter to reduce the overall volume.

I got the lunch deal... I really like the burgers here, there is a great variety inc. vegan/vegetarians options all very good and tasty. Between us we had a beef burger, chicken burger, pulled pork and vegetarian burger... everyone was happy with their burger. The fries are done well although you have to pay extra for the sauces. I have tried the loaded fries, they are tasty but the toppings depends on who is in the kitchen that day. The salads are large and filling. Deserts also delicious. The drinks are over priced. The service was very good, the waitress was attentive and helpful (since we couldn't access the digital menu on our phones... boomer issues). We were sat outside on the road... it works on Gottschedstr. since there are not many cars. They do have take out... that I do not recommend... it's overpriced and not as good at all.

A cute restaurant that is not right in the center and therefore not overcrowded. The menu is scanned using a QR code and can be viewed in full size. There was a good selection of vegetarian and non-vegetarian burgers. As a food allergy sufferer, you have a good overview of what could possibly be dangerous, which is important for my survival. The waiters were very accommodating and friendly. I also thought it was very nice that hygiene products were provided in the women's toilet. The only deduction was because of the other guests, some of whom expressed their love of football very loudly. But no one in the restaurant could do anything about it. Will definitely be a new favorite restaurant in Leipzig.

We couldn't complain about the food, it was very tasty 😋. There was only one small mango. We had just finished our burger when our waitress was already at our table and asked if we wanted dessert. Which wasn't/isn't bad at first. We said, first of all, no. Wanted to digest first. We still had a big beer in front of us. After 10 she stood there again and asked again. Since we said no, the question arose as to whether we would rather pay... I personally didn't think it was that great. So we finished our drinks and paid. I would understand if you spend 3 hours on a drink, but pointing it out to the customer after less than three quarters of an hour is a no go. But still thanks for the great burger.

I had the hamburger and cheesy. Both burgers came with lots of smoky mustard sauce. I didn't like this sauce at all, which was a real shame. Apart from the sauce, the burgers were really good. The meat is tender and juicy, the vegetables are fresh and the fried onions are tasty. One star deducted for the service because the gentleman at the counter appeared a bit arrogant and was reluctant to get the allergen card after asking twice.

Were at Burgerheart for the first time Cool shop with nice design and great food. Unfortunately our food was forgotten. After asking, they apologized and quickly resolved the problem. They promote a menu at 13.90 bit not on weekend so don't be surprised to pay 20 eu for a burger and medium fries. Both burger and fries were very greasy, and the fries were falling appart. I couldn't finish it. I know a burger is supposed to be fat but this one was too much for my liver. Then waiters and waitress however are very nice.

This was our fourth time eating there, unfortunately this time it was the last for us. We waited over 50 minutes for service, unfortunately no one came to take anything. Then we got up and left and were greeted with a smiling "goodbye." adopted.

The menu is available on your cell phone using a QR code. This saves you having to print out/create a new card when making adjustments. Of course, this also makes it easier to increase prices without customers noticing. The service was very friendly. The drinks came quickly and the people who ordered were quickly prepared and at the table. Tastes very good. At first glance they didn't look that big when they were actually eating. The accompanying fries were also very hot and flavorful. In terms of price...what can I say, where else can you get something cheap these days. However, we are willing to pay a few euros more for good food. We'll definitely be back.
