I actually liked eating at BurgerKing every now and then, but today that was my last desperate attempt to get food. As happened 2 weeks ago, today the same tragedy. No car in front of me at the drive in, the store is empty and despite waiting 10 minutes there is no response from the employee. I then drove to the front, lo and behold, there was no guest at the checkout but the girls were talking loudly out the window about the parking lot. Shaking my head, I went over to the competition because it was exactly the opposite and my friend also received the food quickly. If you want to experience something and have time for games like this, please. For me today was definitely the last attempt, never again!

I placed a fairly straightforward order with three burgers, two lattice potatoes and a drink. However, I had to wait a total of almost 30 minutes before I got my food in my hands - and there wasn't actually much going on in the branch. The staff, especially the person at the checkout/order taker, seemed hopeless overwhelmed. Well, I'm happy that I finally had my order I drove home. Once there, the next surprise: The plant-based patties from the two Cheesy BBQ Lovers were both really burnt, the surface was simply black (see attached photo). Roasted flavors are ok, but if the entire burger just tastes burnt, that's not good. The lattice potatoes, which at least have a hefty price, were apparently put into the wrong packaging that was too small, and there were only 5 to 6 lattice potato pieces inside (photo also attached). And that’s with both lattice potato orders. That's very sad. But the cheese melt plant based burger took the cake. There was no plant based pattie on it, but there were several strips of bacon. Conclusion: In an order worth around 28 euros, only the Fuze tea was okay, with the rest something went wrong everywhere. The Velbert branch has never been the fastest when it comes to the ordering process, but this order was a disaster overall. I would like the people there to be better trained so that they are not so overwhelmed and the orders are fulfilled better.

I think it's the worst Burger King I've ever been to. The lady at the checkout was suddenly stressed from 0-100 because of four guests, I don't even want to mention the habits of one guest. Tables were dirty, the tray carts were all full. You could wet your hands in the toilets, but there was no soap or paper towels and the dryer made a noise but the warm air was missing like everything else.

So how should I put it nicely? We work with the absolute minimum. This really applies to every area Service, friendliness, understanding for customers and the service concept are not lived here either. If there are 10 customers standing in line, the word fast food restaurant takes on a completely different meaning. Pack sizes and temperatures of fries and drinks are spontaneously adjusted by the employees, to the detriment of the customer, and when asked, they simply laugh it off and that's it. Conversations about this are not possible at a qualified level with minimal staff because as a customer you are not allowed to have your say. And last but not least. Attention is drawn to the special circumstance that problems are always customer problems. So my problem is dealing with the customer in such an unfriendly way, who secures your job, and the postscript that you don't have to buy, you can just leave, then tops it all off. This makes it easy for the competition to further differentiate themselves

Absolutely underground today at the drive thru When I arrived there was 1 car in front of me on the speaker. It took a relatively long time before the car pulled up. I pulled over to the speaker and waited for an employee voice. After 5 minutes there was a “very short moment please”. This moment lasted 8 minutes! I ordered a set meal and an extra burger and said I had a coupon. “Please drive up” The car from 13 minutes ago was also still at the window. Another 10 minutes took my turn and showed my app to scan the code. "What is that?" Came the question. Me: “Your app” I would have ordered a menu, not a coupon. Since I was really annoyed at the time and, above all, hungry, I paid 17.99 instead of 11.99 and asked for extra ketchup for the fries, which I got. The question about my loyalty points/crowns was ignored twice. Whatever, I thought to myself. The fast food had already become snail slow food after the waiting time. I drove 5 minutes to my house and was looking forward to my meal, only to discover on the couch that the Whopper was ar...cold. At least not the Long Chicken. But what was even worse was that although I had my ketchup, the fries were completely missing. Conclusion Paid too much for cold and missing food and what was supposed to be a quick meal cost me almost an hour. I like eating at other Burger Kings. But next time I'll go to McDonald's across the street.

I ate here today, January 5th, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. and had a very unpleasant experience. Because I didn't put my tray away, a member of staff insulted me in a rude manner. She said that as a customer I was obliged to put the tray away. It was only when the shift leader intervened that the situation was relaxed. It's unbelievable how rude people treat guests here. If it is mandatory to put away your tray, a sign to that effect would be helpful - instead of treating guests so disrespectfully. Such behavior clearly shows how little value is placed on customer friendliness here. If you treat guests like this, you don't need to expect politeness in return. For me, this is a juice shop and the many negative reviews are completely understandable and authentic. Absolutely disappointing! We won't be coming back again.

Were there last night. Although there was absolutely nothing going on except me and another car, I stood in the drive-thru for so long that the 15 minute coupons had already expired when the young gentleman finally asked what I wanted in unintelligible German. None of that would have bothered me. I ordered, he repeated the order. Even though there was no one behind me, the man still managed to get my ENTIRE order wrong. The coupon he charged me, for example. It doesn't even exist on the internet. Fries were missing, and 2 burgers too. That's a good 15€ that you "accidentally" forgot. The man repeated my order and still managed to completely screw it up. (Except for the nuggets he thought of, thanks for that) I understand that sometimes people forget things when there is a lot going on. Avoid Burgen King Velbert!!!! Have given the store a chance for a long time, this was a mistake!!!! It was very dirty... It's just chaos in front of the checkout, the order takes a long time and hardly seems organized. The waitress didn't know the dishes and seemed extremely confused. Drinks from the menu were automatically served as cola without asking. Since my wife had forgotten to order something, she ordered a portion of nuggets. After twenty minutes of waiting (we would have asked sooner but unfortunately the staff were too busy for customers as there were five groups of guests in the house) we received an apology and the nuggets were prepared. The next time you need to move quickly, you'll probably go back to the other side of the street. It's a shame. Other Burger Kings do it much better.

We always wait a long time until we are served, the second cash register is just a decoration. Drive-in customers are given priority, even if we wait forever in the store even though we were there first. Orders are always incomplete (missing sauce, wrong drink, wrong burger, etc.). In any case, you should check the order straight away! When asked, they say "that can't be right, the burger was in the right compartment", as if we could do something about it if the organization in the kitchen wasn't working. Normally I would give 4 or 5 stars because we like to get ice cream there with the kids on the way and therefore use the DriveIn every now and then. We did the same thing recently [without children] after a concert and were under the misconception that you could get fresh food there. [I am aware that this is a generally bold proposition for a fast food restaurant] What we got was probably the leftovers from the day. Even though no one but us was in the drive-in or restaurant and our order could easily have been prepared fresh... we only got cold leftovers.

That was the worst thing I've seen after so many years. For such a big company to present themselves like that. At the request of my wife, I went to Velbert Burger King again after a very long time. Dirty facility! Be it outside or inside. For a catering business Not representative and not exemplary either. I want to eat and I can't rate it because I'm not a King fan But it's daunting to stay there! Clean up the shop and get rid of the smell outside where the trays of food leftovers pile up in the heat. It's unbelievable how you can tolerate something like that and enjoy it. Just like the employee constantly loses the fries while preparing the fries and scatters everything on the floor. When it comes to hygiene, even when you're working, you shouldn't present yourself like that. This Citizen King in Velbert is an example of how not to do it! Shame on you to take money for it!

I recently went to Burger King in Velbert and was very disappointed with the long waiting times. Even though the restaurant wasn't crowded, I had to wait forever to place my order. After ordering, I waited another long time for my food. It seemed like the staff was overwhelmed and the organization was poor. These long wait times are simply unacceptable in a fast food restaurant. I'll probably consider other options in the future. Hopefully management will improve the situation.

Unfortunately, like many others, on July 16th a lady (who served alone) treated us very stupidly when we ordered. We said hello as normal, no one said anything back, and showed us our app to redeem our vouchers. The first voucher was scanned and then someone said “what else”?! Without asking what kind of drink should be on the menu or asking for ketchup or mayonnaise. The second voucher was just asked in a curt manner: “Again the same voucher or what?” I pointed out to her that it was a different one but she simply didn’t enter it. On leg 3 and the last voucher she was so annoyed that we used another voucher from the app that she simply entered the 1 voucher twice until we were only at €12.. We then asked which voucher she had bagged and then we noticed that she hadn't entered one voucher at all and had entered the other twice. She was so annoyed that she rolled her eyes several times and just ran to the back and left us there without saying anything to get the card to cancel When she scanned everything correctly and we pointed it out to her, she also asked if she had a drink. Unfortunately very bad for business, as we now prefer to go to the mc or kfc on the other side of the street! Short woman, slightly stocky, black hair! It would be great if you had a conversation with the lady about how to deal with customers who are well respected there! Addendum 10 minutes later: Unfortunately we were then given 1 wrong burger! Instead of chicken a beef castle...

Pretty bad restaurant, often understaffed, which leads to considerable waiting times even though there are hardly any customers on site. There's very little going on on Saturdays and while the drive-in opposite at McDonald's is overcrowded far down the street, I was the only one in the drive-in here at Burger King and I was still finished later than the last person at McDonald's. Unfortunately, the service is also underground. I'll be heading to McDonald's across the street soon, even though I actually prefer Burger King. It's a shame ☹️

Worst BK I know in Germany: chronically understaffed, therefore long waiting times. Takeaway food was often cold. The last experience was particularly negative: food was partly cold again, burgers looked carelessly put together, cucumbers tasted spoiled and the contents of the order were incomplete. Will avoid this branch in the future!
