Congratulations on the slowest Burger King in all of Germany. Things are quicker in a star restaurant. This is not fast food! Slow food fits better here.

We were there today October 13th. at this Burger King 12:30 p.m. The (small) woman with a black hat behind the counter was ABSOLUTELY UNFOCUSED AND REALLY RUDE. We wanted to order several things in the restaurant. After just €1.99 she simply completed the order!!! Apparently she didn't understand German and spoke very choppily. Each time she simply took the entire coupon slip out of her hand and somehow always asked, “Everything? Everything?!! And we always say, “No, no, we have a few things.” Each order number for a product also takes an immensely long time. Apparently she didn't understand German and spoke very choppily. At the next customer she suddenly spoke German very well. Then the order was actually wrong several times. Then she spoke again even though she couldn't speak German, then WITH OTHERS AGAIN perfectly. Then she wanted to clean the tables, saw the dirt on the EMPTY TABLE, but she just walked away because she didn't feel like it. Nothing worked for her, supposedly no German that she could suddenly speak normally, bad was unmotivated, unfocused on absolutely trivial things. Every order was also missing something. So why do you speak when you barely understand anything and then speak very well? Overall really miserable. We think she brushes people off and acts as if she doesn't understand German (THAT WAS REALLY NOTICEABLE FOR HER) so that she has less work. What was that supposed to mean then??!! The food was really good.

Like in any other branch, you see completely new faces as employees every two weeks, probably schoolchildren and students. Drive-in orders now take at least 20 minutes and of course half of the order is missing and/or special requests were not implemented

We had ordered the new Italiano, we opened it and saw that someone had already taken a bite. Super disgusting. Then you go there and complain and they don't even apologize. Extremely unfriendly staff.

With the ordering system it takes significantly longer. The staff no longer knew where the front and back were. Orders were piled up in the warming compartment and still no one received anything. There was a lot of confusion with the drive in. Catastrophic!!! The fries hung in the draining basket for 15 minutes before they were salted. Despite waiting 20 minutes, I asked for hot fries. Then she wanted to be stupid. So never again!!

Eating takes too long and employees seem completely overwhelmed with the simplest tasks. Parking is a disaster and you are blocked by a disillusioned employee because he thinks he has to sweep the last free parking space

This is by far the worst Burger King you can go to. Fries were cold. Was then rejected again, then got new ones, but this time fresh and cold limp fries were mixed together. 🤮 The burger was skimpy on sauces and was fart dry... Just rubbish!

Were very nice, but mouse, just out of logical thinking you give a fork when ordering to go, or at least a pick if you order chili cheese fries or something similar... unfortunately it's always the same thing.

The chilli cheese burger lacked spiciness in the cheese sauce. Ate on site. The worst is yet to come, the Burger King driver wets his fingers to open the bag and then grabs the napkins with the same fingers and puts them in the bag. Disgusting!!

As soon as you order, you get a certain "holiday feeling" - but not because of relaxation, but rather because of a linguistic adventure, as the staff hardly understand any German. The most unpleasant thing I've ever experienced at a Burger King happened when a customer at his table unwrapped his burger and discovered the bacon was missing. He then brought the burger back to the counter and complained about it. The employee didn't understand a word and called her boss for help. Instead of discarding the burger after the customer opened it and brought it back, the staff simply put it back in the dispenser. For the next customer. I observed this questionable behavior while waiting for my own order - and just asked myself: Why? I will avoid this branch from now on. In addition, the preparation takes an extremely long time, you have to wait at least 15 minutes or even longer. The cleanliness also leaves something to be desired: the tables are often greasy, or there are used trays everywhere.

It's really unfortunate that this restaurant is lacking in every way: limited staff, long waiting times for orders, poor quality of food, in summer it's always hot inside with no cooling, toilets are always dirty and unequipped, and the worst of Everything is today's meal that gave me and my spouse food poisoning.

5 points for fast food is difficult. Everything was fine. The fries maybe just warm. The service was also friendly, but you shouldn't "bitch" your employees in front of customers in such a way that customers wonder about the way they do it. That's not right.

Unfortunately not recommended!!!! Staff barely understand you, so you have to communicate with your hands and feet. We pointed out to them that we ordered a large fries and received a small one. The lady said 'no no' and snatched the receipt out of our hands (we don't know this from other finals). We walked a bit and talked about it again, but she got really annoyed and tore the bag out of our hands. The other customers were also very surprised and irritated because it was really a small fry. Then we got our bag back and there was another small chip in it - then we just left. We won't be entering the store again.

Yesterday evening around 20 you were there. Apart from the fact that we waited over 10 minutes for the burgers. The fries were cold and the burgers were lukewarm. And they were the worst burgers I've eaten in a long time. There was still a lot of trash from the previous guests on the tables outside. So I imagine fast food differently. Ladies and Gentlemen I am contacting you to describe a negative experience at your branch. On August 25, 2024 at 11:40 p.m. I ordered a King Fusion with Smarties. Much to my dismay, I discovered that the amount of Smarties in my dessert was extremely small. This does not meet the quality standard I have come to expect from Burger King. Unfortunately, when I politely pointed out to the employee that the amount of Smarties was insufficient, she reacted very unfriendly and even became aggressive. Burgers were ok and the order was processed quickly. But unfortunately the shop is very run down. It is very warm inside so we preferred to eat outside, but the tables and chairs outside are not in good condition. The play equipment is probably broken and has therefore been closed for ages. Overall, nothing seems to have been invested here for a long time.

Incredibly bad. Staff unfriendly. The branch is so run down, dirty!!! The play structure for the children outside is completely broken, absolutely unbelievable.

I was just there for dinner with my family. We only had to go about 10 minutes. Wait, the food was already ready. The currlyfries were very fresh and crispy and the burgers were all fresh too. We are not from this area and are just passing through but we can't say anything bad about this restaurant.

The food was okay, not different than expected. You know that the salad was in the packaging next to the burger, but unfortunately the quality of the chili cheese nuggets has also deteriorated, so maybe next time you'll go to the competitor. When it came to the burgers, there was a lot of fun guessing as to which one was which - the tabs on the package that were simply pressed in were apparently taken as a suggestion there. I don't think there's any need to mention the so-called ambience - the store was definitely cleaner, and the fact that customers left their things on the tables may have been mainly due to the overcrowded trolley for the trays. We were able to squeeze ours in at the bottom, but there was definitely no room for the next one. Annoying!

First time there in 3 or 4 years. We actually like Burger King more than the competition in terms of taste. However, the service here is subpar. The slide for the children outside from 1990 is apparently now broken and closed. Came in, only one guest dining. Ordered food at the terminal. I wanted my burger and chili cheese fries without jalapenos. The burger was without, the fries were with. There was also ridiculously little cheese sauce. The toys for the children's menu were completely gone, but there was still the option to buy a cup with a children's motif for 2.50. Of course we had to in order not to have a sad child. But they didn't come towards us. I'll see if things have improved over the next 4 years. I drove an extra 20 minutes there. It's just not worth it

Everything used to be better... This branch has been underground for some time now. So many employees have now been hired whose German is simply broken and incomprehensible. You have problems ordering and are constantly misunderstood. And since the branch installed display boards for ordering, things have gotten even worse. The boards don't work with the app and it doesn't seem to fix anything. If you want to order at the checkout, all other orders get priority. Sometimes you have to wait 15 minutes to be able to order. I would recommend everyone to go to another branch.

Absolutely unfriendly service. The staff speaks German very poorly, so communication at the drive-in counter is not possible. This results in orders being forgotten. Unfortunately, when asked about this, the response was very unfriendly. I then had to get back in line at the back of the drive-thru. Very very bad.

Fridays 5 p.m. I've been sitting there for 25 minutes now. Orders are being taken non-stop, but no burgers are coming out. Currently 9 open orders. Delivery service catastrophic, bottom rail. Ordered via Lieferando, delivery time stated 30-35 minutes. After more than 1 1/2 hours nothing arrived, I then went to a better restaurant to buy burgers for myself and my family. We were approached back by neighbors and said that the driver had been there in the meantime and had made a huge fuss. How long did he think I should wait? No possibility of cancellation. Never experienced such lousy service, the place doesn't see a single cent from me anymore.

Tables dirty, empty boxes overflowing, when asked if someone could clean the table they were told there was no time.

The service was terrible, we waited in the store for up to 3/4 hour until we could order and get the food. I don't have to go to a fast food restaurant, I can also go to a normal restaurant. It's even quicker. This store will never see us again!

Burger King in Recklinghausen cannot be recommended to anyone, as the service does not speak German, which is not a problem, and the orders are sometimes not complete or correct. I think the customers who were there during my stay weren't exactly satisfactory either. Very much in need of improvement in any case!!

I can only recommend Burger King... You can always get there quickly at the drive-thru (I don't go to the branch often), I don't have to wait very long for my food and so far I've always received a friendly and nice welcome 👍🏻 Even when I once had a problem with APPLE PAY, I was helped. The only thing that's a shame is that it's only 4 stars - no AMEX! That's why only 4 stars for service - it would be great 🙏🏻 if you could also pay with American Express (should actually go without saying)

Order still not delivered after 2 hours

It's ok. Ordered takeaway. We received what we ordered and the food was still warm at home. It can take a little longer here. But the employee was very nice. No terminals for ordering. MyBurgerKing points could not be collected here either.

Employees + BOSS understand 0,000 GERMAN. Coupon redeemed 1x! Was debited twice. She then says that I wanted it twice. I said 5 times that I only wanted it once. After ages, I'm in the mood again. Ordered: King of the month (with Big King) and 2 hamburgers individually, a curry sauce. The following errors: - Drink was with ice, although ordered without ice - Instead of a Big King there was a Royal TS in it - a hamburger was missing - Curry sauce was missing 4 errors for one order. There is definitely room for improvement. There are only 2 stars because the woman at the counter was nice. Otherwise it would only be one.

A nice employee can make so much difference. The employee who served the customers at the checkout and is probably new (because we see him for the first time), Mr. Remalado, is very friendly. My son, who was waiting for me at the table, also said that he was very nice. That's why my third review in life is a full 5 stars.

We were there on a Friday and were in the mood for Burger King again after several years, but we could have given up on that and are finally done with it!!! There was absolutely nothing going on, but we still had to order through this machine. We had to wait 25 minutes for the order and then there was still hair on the fries. The employees only took care of the matter after a few minutes after they finally understood that it couldn't be our fault because it was too long and too dark... We don't even need to talk about the motivation of the employees here!!!! !!

Today at the drive in - the employee didn't speak German - he neither understood what I wanted nor what I would like. At the end a nice lady came along who was already off work, apparently. In the end the food was cold and one burger was wrong. In the end I can't recommend it.

I couldn't even order because it was assumed that I was pushing my way forward. Which I didn't do. There were two checkouts and even though the cashiers finally got it, they still didn't charge me or apologize or anything. I'll never go here again and generally never go to Burger King again if there are employees like that there. Disgusting.

Things are getting worse, but it's getting difficult here. Long waiting times with few customers. Food okayyyy... and the sound of music and whistles from the fry as a chaotic cacophony... Horrible

We were here on Friday evening, there really wasn't much going on. Waiting time to order about 15 minutes, then waiting another 20 minutes for the food. The employee (judging by the shirt, the pioneer) at the counter was completely unmotivated, which was also passed on to the rest of the staff. The burgers were fair as they were freshly prepared. Toilet was reasonably clean.

Actually one of the worst BurgerKing branches I've come across. Order took a very long time to arrive. And the store wasn't exactly full. When our food was finally ready after 13 minutes and we were told that there was no water that we had ordered, we got cold fries and a cold burger (BigKing). I can cope with the fact that it can take longer if it's very full and the dining room isn't clean. But you should still be expected to receive hot food and to clean the tables occasionally. I'll definitely never come here again.

So apart from the fact that it took far too long for... 1 family (4 people) + 1 other person and us (2 people) The food was just bad. It was clear that fat was old because the nuggets were already so dark in color and of course you could taste them. The "bun" of my burger was so greasy.. So from the outside my catchers were covered. I used to go here more often but I've lost a lot of energy and now I'd rather go to mc's to save time and stomach cramps 👍🏼

Whopper almost cold, onions were forgotten, fries were probably fried twice. Instead of ketchup I got French fries sauce. The air in the restaurant was very stuffy and almost all of the tables were not clean. Rarely seen such a bad Burger King

Long waiting times! On Sunday afternoon only three people were working. Orders have often arrived incorrectly. Restaurant was clean. The staff has problems understanding each other. Somehow things have gotten a lot worse!!!

This is by far the worst Burger King in the area. There have always been problems, this time the burgers were very poorly made. Hardly any sauce in the chili cheeseburger and my Payback points were not credited again. I don't know what the workers are doing there, but they definitely don't do their job well. The boss should finally hire good workers who approach the job with responsibility. So boss, pay sensibly and hire sensible people.

Unfortunately the bad comments are true. Went there last night (Friday), pretty empty, dirty tables, long waiting times for 3 menus, spent over €30. Employees didn't speak German well. Gouda lover burgers were good, big king cold. It was then heated in the micro, making it soft and disgusting. Forgot the cheese onion with the fries. Pay attention to your orders. We've had enough for a few years now

Old Burger King, employees are unqualified. We went shopping there just before 3 last night and things were forgotten. Requests such as “No cucumbers, onions” were not addressed.

Burger King Recklinghausen is operated by Schloss Burger GmbH - now if you have seen the Wallraff report on the store, that explains one thing and the conditions. When ordering the poorly prepared burgers you also have to know Hindi or Arabic. When complaints are made, the “staff” reacts either with complete incomprehension or aggressively.

Everything arrived cold, the delivery person was totally dissatisfied with his life and didn't have any sauce even though I ordered it, thank you. The only plus point is that he was 30 minutes early, lucky that I was already home. Not recommended like any other BK branch

Friendliness, food really good. Unfortunately the "dining room" was dirty and dingy when we were there.

I had the feeling that I ended up with Indian street food. Burger disaster, chilli cheese nuggets felt like they were fried 10 times in a row, hard as a rock and there was no cheese left in them. So you should not only change the staff but also the boss.

Das totale Chaos. Total verdreckt und vermüllt. Außer der bedienenden Mitarbeiterin zeigte der Rest nur Desinteresse und ließ diese rotieren. Ließen uns links liegen. Die Burger waren ein Trauer. Zum Teil kalt. Der Bacon roh. Und das nach fast 20 Minuten Wartezeit. Das war eine große Enttäuschung!!
