I was at the Burger King in Dresden's main train station on September 7, 2025, at around 8:20 p.m. Unfortunately, the visit was very disappointing. The ordering terminals were out of service—as is often the case—so there was a long line at the checkout. Additionally, several products were unavailable: there were no nuggets, no small burger buns, and the ice cream machine was also broken. This meant that my coupon order couldn't be redeemed. Instead, I was advised to only order more expensive products without a discount. When I refused, I was finally asked to leave the store—a definite no-no when it comes to dealing with customers. To make matters worse, employees are apparently regularly drawn into conversations by employees of the neighboring restaurant (Speckmann's), which delays orders and serving, and forces guests to wait unnecessarily. I was actually happy that there's a Burger King at the main train station again, but neither the team nor the management seem up to the task. As a guest, I feel mistreated, disappointed, and angry.

This store is absolutely terrible. Half the items are missing again. Considering it's a Whopper plus extras and a drink, you've been cheated (again) out of well over a tenner, as is often the case. Unfortunately, complaining doesn't help much at first, because the employees aren't interested. So always check right away and insist.

You don't have to wait long thanks to the kiosk and the fairly prompt staff. Unfortunately, I received an incomplete order twice. I was able to point it out once, but today I had to rush off and ended up with two fewer cheeseburgers. Considering the prices these days, that's a real shame. The burgers are really tasty and large, though.

Unfortunately it tastes different here than in other Burger King branches. I don't know why, but both of my burgers (long chili cheese and crispy chicken) tasted significantly different than usual, and not in a good way.

First, a compliment: The food I ordered was ready for pickup very quickly. But: The order screen is a nightmare! After a long search, I found the chili cheeseburger under "Plant Based," only to then have to select the "Beef" option. Totally logical 🫣 Otherwise, I was personally bothered by the dirty atmosphere. You could see that someone had wiped down the tables; you could see every trace of it on the greasy surfaces.

I'm shocked! I rarely eat at Burger King, and I ordered at the counter because there were notes on the order boards saying they were broken. Since all the displays and monitors were constantly changing, and there were no menus with prices, I asked about the different shake sizes while ordering. Unfortunately, the employee couldn't understand me due to language barriers. The employee next to me wasn't interested in helping me either. After the third time, I chose the smallest size of the Kingshake and was shocked that the cup cost almost €4! I later expressed my frustration to an employee, who simply said that the employee who was taking orders was still new. I think it's really awful that you can't see the prices in advance.

All show and little substance. The restaurant is nicely decorated, a bit fast-paced, but okay. Then chaos ensues. Service is only from India, Pakistan, or a similar region. A major language barrier. Ordering is only possible at the terminal; the request for no ice in the drink doesn't work because they don't understand or don't want to. The Whopper was disgusting, the Pad Thai was gray and lukewarm, with no grill marks. The salad had grayish edges. The onion rings had already been warmed up and were served a second time for us. Just brown, dry rings with no onions. The fries were mush. Only the cheesy nuggets were okay. I won't be seeing this business again, at least not with the same staff. Better close branches like this if you don't have the right staff, otherwise it will affect good restaurants in general, and fast food isn't cheap either, especially if it's not "fast."

First time is also last time here. I ordered on the automated screen and just wanted to pay in cash at the till, but the employee here simply ignored me and took the orders of the other customers who were pushing their way to the front. I have to wait 15 minutes at the till and can only pay after trying to call him three times. And when I finally get my food, half of what I ordered is missing and I have to wait at the till again until my order is complete. The food isn't that hot and the fries are carelessly wrapped and look much smaller than in the photo. The tables here are dirty, food crumbs end up everywhere. Really disappointed 😞, can't recommend it.

I was very pleasantly surprised, as I've been going to the Golden M regularly, and the quality there has steadily declined over the past few years, especially with the burger rolls. That's not the case here. Overall, the quality of the food was really good. The place is small but nice. I highly recommend it, but be prepared to spend a bit of time. Thanks for the fresh, warm meal. Chicken Mozzarella Meal, Big King Meal, and the Wopper Meal. Everything was warm and fresh.

A fast-food "restaurant" in the central train station. It was originally located in the domed hall, but now it's on the cross platforms opposite the large display board. I ordered at the vending machine, took a number, waited less than five minutes, and received my food. The burgers are well prepared, and so far, I've never been short of anything. One star deducted because the previous location had significantly more seating.

Wait times are too long, especially when serving food. There are at least 10 people in the kitchen, yet you still have to wait at least 20 minutes. The staff barely speak German, making communication difficult or even impossible. The food you order is usually cold by the time you get it, and most of it is incomplete or incorrectly prepared. I'm therefore very dissatisfied with the service and the food!

Unfortunately, the service is really bad. The buns are old and dry. I don't know if it was like that for several days, but when I was there they didn't have any small burger buns, which is why you could only order large burgers. A burger place where you can't order a cheeseburger, chicken burger, or hamburger can close down. And in the main train station, too... On top of that, some of the staff don't speak any German at all, and my last order was wrong, even though I'd already entered everything into a code in the app. You think you can't go wrong, but you can. Unfortunately, the wait times are endless. We'll stick to the place in Pieschen and have never been disappointed.

The employees are asleep on their feet. I missed the train because they were unable to prepare a simple Bing King meal within 18 minutes(!) of ordering. I have never experienced such bored staff anywhere in Germany as here. Perhaps the railway should ask if they need any more sleeping car attendants; they would be in good hands with some.

June 16, 2025 Ordered and paid for 5 burgers, 4 ended up in the takeaway bag, all lukewarm. Fries were light and soggy. This place has managed to steadily reduce its number of customers in 10 years and several reopenings. The place is finished, and I'm done with it! Back then: EVEN slower than before the presumed closure by the health department, the restrooms are still more disgusting than before, BEWARE: Drug hotspot in the restroom counters. Simply not.

This is just awful, I waited for my 2 burgers for 15 minutes, and I never got them, because my train was leaving, I had order 769, after me even order 778 was received, more than 10 orders were given out, and I'm still waiting. There were more than 10 people in the kitchen, a cook, and no one was doing anything. I left a check and did not receive my order, I had to quickly run to the train. I do not recommend, everything is very slow, the workers barely walk. Fast is not for this location. I ask the management to pay attention to this incident.

What's cool is that the Plant Base variants apparently can't be ordered at the terminals (the bug seems to have been around for a while, as it was there a few weeks ago as well). At least the Edit button in the shopping cart just keeps blinking. There's no error message. It doesn't tell you exactly what the item contains. The prices in the interface are probably intentionally displayed in such a way that you don't know what the actual price is.

Even just before the end of the day, you should concentrate if necessary. Medium menu ordered via coupon cannot be redeemed at the terminal, employee was overwhelmed on the PC to accept it. I would like to urgently emphasize that this is a BurgerKing in a MAIN STATION. Why? Because that means that many people should be served here in a short time so that they can reach their connections etc. However, this is not the case at this Burger King because people work extremely comfortably and extremely slowly at any time of the day!! Ambience: It looks very nice and seems clean. Service: Ordering (5 items) to take away on a Saturday evening at 7pm with 5 orders in front of me took me 15 minutes. Waiting time lasted. I also got a vanilla milkshake instead of a chocolate milkshake. Not bad in itself, it can happen. This was addressed at checkout. The employee grins cheekily at me, opens the lid in annoyance, puts a splash of chocolate sauce in the vanilla milkshake and says I have to stir well then I have chocolate! Alder! What's wrong!? Food: Chocolate milkshake was vanilla milkshake and the milkshake was less of a milkshake than, in terms of consistency, more like cold condensed milk with a lot of sugar! The burger was cold. Conclusion: Nice atmosphere with bad service! No recommendation!

Unfortunately, the terminal is very complicated. There are long waiting times and redeeming coupons is complicated. The staff seems overwhelmed even with just a few orders. There are only two employees at the checkout, while the majority of the team is in the kitchen. The cashier seemed stressed, even though there were only a few customers present - the tone was correspondingly unfriendly. Overall, the service leaves a lot to be desired.

Since the branch was only recently opened, it is in a very modern and clean condition. However, it seems to be far too small for the number of customers. At the time of our visit, around 9:40 p.m., the store was packed and the number of employees seemed to be too low given the high volume of orders. Since the store was packed just a few minutes before the official closing time and more people wanted to order, I think longer opening hours would definitely be appropriate at a central location like this. Pay your employees attractive surcharges from 10 p.m. and extend opening hours. There is only one shop at the main station that is open longer - it would definitely be worth it, as I saw yesterday there is enough demand even after 10 p.m.

The red-haired employee with glasses has a very bad behavior towards customers. Unfriendly, inattentive staff. The cheeseburger, freshly prepared, sits under the heating lamp for two minutes and is then cold inside. How does that work please? The complaint was handled with the words "he's really cold" to a colleague, but without apologizing to me. Half the staff is standing around chatting while my burger was probably trying to warm up under the heating lamp. Of course I asked the staff about their unfriendliness. This was acknowledged with a nod.

Everything is new and chic but after the second visit and the same defects, no third visit will follow. It starts with the self-service terminals: first there is a waiting time and a loading button until you can even start a menu selection and after placing the order it takes about 2 minutes until I can finally pay via EC. Then wait again until I get the note. Now this step alone takes 7-8 minutes. Good thing there's no train waiting for me. By that time, the person next to me had already given up in annoyance and left again. A few seconds later you received your payment request... The preparation then takes a comparatively long time. I waited 5 minutes. The dip I ordered was different than what I ordered. Food is as usual. Unfortunately, the air conditioning above me is blowing really cold. I very rarely write critical reviews but I'm really disappointed with the new opening here.

Unfortunately nothing for the second time. Arrive, terminals don't work with the personal coupon codes / My Burgerking registration.... So get in line. Endlessly long line, 3 employees at the back in the "kitchen" who looked like they were about to fall asleep and 2 employees at the front who couldn't control anything in the chaos. I left after almost exactly 18 minutes of waiting without placing an order. Two citizens really wasn't worth it to me and I would have preferred to go to one of the other two Dresden Burgerkings. In terms of service, things were going much better even before the new opening at the main station.

If you have problems with constipation then come here and they will solve your problems. Consumption should be at your own risk. I only ordered a bacon burger and fries, it was mostly raw, but there are public toilets next door for €1.50. The staff doesn't understand a word of German. Most of them come from India and two other employees are German. Before me, a German family ordered several Happy Meals and it was incomplete.

Hurray ---- Burger King is back at the main train station in Dresden. However, the first takeaway experiment went wrong. Chicken nuggets became chili chesse nuggets, three different dips became french fries sauce three times. The staff is not at all well-coordinated, so there is an urgent need for improvement. During my wait, which was okay by the way, the problem with the cash register was discussed loudly. I hope that these teething problems will be resolved by the next visit.

Regarding the newly opened BK: A disaster! I ordered at the terminal like many others. The wait time was 25 minutes. The staff was very nice but overwhelmed. When I finally received my order (cheeseburger and strawberry milkshake), the strawberry milkshake was a vanilla milkshake, and the burger tasted like it was three days old. I'll never see this place again....

Unfortunately, the food is mediocre (patties seem to be older), staff prefers to count tips rather than accept orders. Furthermore, you are asked to leave at 9:25 p.m. because cleaning has to be done (officially open until 10 p.m.) I recommend avoiding this BK.

Long waiting times and when you finally get your turn, you are left standing there without a word and ignored. Colleagues hold private conversations or come to the checkout to charge their cell phones. I was about to leave when an employee wanted to take my order. Well, as expected, the product I ordered was not available. Lifetime wasted pointlessly. I left without anything and will never come back. Every other fast food restaurant is better.

Completely understaffed staff situation. Shop completely filthy, drinks spilled, everything sticky, rubbish all over the restaurant. Kitchen can be seen from the counter in order. Food okay, staff attentive and friendly. Next time report to the health department, the situation in the guest area is absolutely unacceptable. But it's absolutely okay to take away if you're willing to wait a long time. Update: no improvement after months.

Burger King in Dresden Central Station offers fast service, even when it's full. Mr. Abdelnaser in particular impresses with his friendly and professional manner. No matter how hectic things get, he always remains attentive and ensures that every guest is well served. A pleasant experience, especially for travelers who want to take a short break.

When I compare this restaurant with other branches of this group, abysses open up. At peak times (this applies to the edge of the day) only one cash register is open while technically there are 4 others. Food is not served on the left edge of the counter but in the middle so it is a struggle to get your tray and get it through the crowds without an accident. No coupons can be scanned and Payback is no longer available. The new owner has completely miscalculated the story. Waiting times over 10 minutes are not excluded. Coming back? A clear no for me.

I returned here today, August 3, 2024, after a break of several years. The service was friendly and quick, the food was as expected. However, I was very disappointed by the entire atmosphere. The seats on the first floor were blocked (probably too few staff to ensure order and cleanliness), the tray return was full (was not cleared during my stay), the seating was worn and inoperable. Even the Mitropa had more charm. A pity!

Impossible people behind the counter/cash register. Very unfriendly ladies and arrogant and annoyed by the job!! The visit was on July 19th. and I was treated very badly with my son! The two ladies should think about who pays their wages...these are the customers who order and buy from you!! If, even though the ladies and gentlemen in front of me took twice as long to order, I am then forced by the lady to order faster. Because you are a fast food restaurant, I no longer understand the world. I am neither an outlet for your dissatisfaction , I'm a customer...and if my son thinks again about whether he really wants the Birger then that's the way it is and you have to accept that!!! 7/20/24 again the same woman behind the counter and one in the kitchen..It's unbelievable what's going on here. Line up to the benches. No control of who ordered what... I left again because my train was coming in 10 minutes and I would have missed it if I had waited (30 minutes)

I wish you could give zero stars for service... I came by today for breakfast, but when I went to place my order, I was completely ignored, just like other customers. The young lady looked new to me, but I think if you work in sales, you should be able to deal with customers. She didn't say "hello"/"good day"/"when I took my order... When it came to paying, she just looked at me and waited for me to hand over the money. (In plain English) I was very disappointed with this visit, because being ignored by a salesperson is very inconvenient and unpleasant. Likewise, if you hurt yourself, you won't get any help. Be careful with the restroom, there's a risk of injury; with the toilet, the door handle is a safety feature.

Meganice, how long do you wait for food here? Honestly, 30 minutes for two burgers and two fries, are you serious? Maybe you should change things around or reorganize. UPDATE: Times have improved. The ambiance has been lost. It no longer feels like a cool diner. More like a regular train station snack bar.

Exquisite fast food with a wide range of menu choices and the staff is even so friendly as to accidentally add 3-5 extra sauces here and there. Despite the high number of visitors, the ambience and the room design are well thought out and time according to 10/10

We ordered a creamy milkshake, but the straw was made of cardboard and immediately buckled. We couldn't drink it and unfortunately didn't get to fully enjoy the taste of the shake. Very impractical, and we were disappointed.
