Burger King in Kleve

The burgers used to be bigger and tastier. The patty from Plant tasted soggy and raw. The toilets were dirty and dusty, and there was no soap.

The team is quite fast but the amount of sauce they add on the burgers is absurd. They just overdo it every time, they add so much sauce you cannot even taste the rest of the burger and he bread gets completely soggy.

The staff today, November 7th, 2025, around 7 PM, a catastrophe.

Food was what you would expect from a Burger King...

Preferably 0 stars for the service at the drive-thru. You could tell that the employee wasn't in the mood and then she forgot half of it. When you told them that there was no milkshake, you just got a rude "what?" When you said that she had forgotten something, you got another rude answer and she rolled her eyes. Seriously, you don't really need this older lady as an employee. She should stay at home instead. It would be better for business.

Good food, super tasty service, unfortunately a bit less atmosphere, the garbage bins were over full, there was a lot next to it.

I ordered a King Beef Double Mozzarella. I got a King Beef Double with cheese slices and bacon. I ordered French dressing with my salad. I got yogurt dressing. I asked for a bag. I didn't get one. I spent several euros on the summer soda. I got isotonic drink from the supermarket.

It's not difficult to rate a Burger King. This one is like any other. The staff is very friendly. The digital pre-ordering, billing, and service are very fast and efficient. I don't want to say much about the food. It's perfect for a snack between meals.

Bland burgers and fries. In a fast-food atmosphere. It gets the job done. No better or worse than your average BK.

The bar appears to be newly renovated, with a modern bar featuring digital ordering terminals and a cash register if desired. The food was plentiful, warm, and tasted fresh. The staff seemed friendly. I'd be happy to go again 🍔👑

The latest trick by the employees to finish work early: the drive-thru cash register closes at 11:40 p.m. Customers have to get out of the car to pay with their card inside. Extremely annoying. It's as if having to settle another cash register takes so much time. The food is okay.

What's going on here?? Snack salad, bowl of lettuce, 1 slice of cucumber, and 1 tomato. Long chicken burger cut in half. Curly fries hard and inedible. After all these good years, unfortunately, never again.

At the checkout, the boy said I had other things to do because I paid with cash. That's not how you say things. I've never experienced anything like it. A disaster.

I was served at the drive-thru by an incredibly unfriendly woman (short hair, mid-40s). When I asked if they had wraps, she rudely told me to go to McDonald's for them. I originally wanted a chicken tortilla. After she told me they were out of those, I asked her if they still had tortillas and if I could have another one. She replied, almost angrily, that they weren't available at all. Her tone was very unfortunate! This woman definitely needs some communication training or she shouldn't be in this position.

The woman with short hair who worked on June 1st at 6:30 p.m. decided to give me rude answers after telling me they didn't have the right sauce for the burger. She then called me in 10 minutes early, left me standing there, and was loudly angry at her colleagues for not answering her. She also just kept throwing orders onto the trays.

Unfortunately there is no longer a self-dispensing system. Otherwise a normal Burger King.

Since the renovation it has seemed very pleasant here. The volume of the music is no longer unpleasant. The food is mostly fresh, but every now and then some extra ingredients that you ordered are forgotten, but are adjusted later when you ask the staff about it.

We arrived shortly before closing time and were able to finish our meal in peace - we really appreciate this service! However, the ambience was not particularly pleasant as it was still crowded and noisy even this late. Of course, you have to say that in a restaurant like Burger King you would expect a casual and relaxed atmosphere late at night - so in that sense it was quite appropriate. Of course, it's not particularly healthy food, but that won't be assessed here. What should be highlighted positively is that the burgers were properly prepared. Overall the visit was okay.

There was a hair in my burger, the man at the counter told me he would make me a new one. We waited 15 minutes before realizing we had to pick him up ourselves. No apology either.

Yesterday at 8:40 PM, April 2, 2025 An aggressive employee at the drive-thru. Rude. Cheeky. Doesn't help. Arrogant. We ordered the 905 crispy chicken meal. We asked the usual question. Does mayo come with it? He responded very arrogantly, cheekily, aggressively, and rudely. He doesn't feel like it. He said I don't know, no answer. No idea. It's going to be expensive. I've never seen employees like that before. It's a shame for Burger King; employees like that drive customers away. The customers never come back. One star too many. He deserves a minus star.

Top service, good food for the price you pay. No frills, just simple but tasty. It is incomprehensible that people still go to the Mac 200m away.

Food was ok for fast food standards. The service was absolutely horrible. After ordering at the terminal, we were left standing at the checkout for between 10 and 15 minutes, where the employees then looked at us happily. After asking twice, an employee finally came, but he lacked any politeness. Without saying a word, he pulls the piece of paper out of my friend's hand and throws the change on the counter. Accordingly, we snatched the bag out of our dear colleague's hand and left the store without a word. Conclusion: If you want to be treated like dirt, this Burger King is the right place for you. It's better to drive a few meters further to McDonalds, in this case it's definitely worth the effort. Never again Burger King in Kleve.

Not surprisingly, an employee works the counter, takes orders, both for on-site and take-away, and possibly also for deliveries. This can't work. I don't see any job advertisements for Kleve on the Burger King homepage. I can't understand that. The poor guy needs help!!! But the food was good.

I was just at Burger King and waited 15 minutes for the food to arrive. Everything was cold. I complained and the friendly man said no problem I'll make a new burger. In fact, he just warmed up the burger. It's not a good restaurant.

You forget about the extra cheese every time. Practically every time. You must check your orders carefully. I add it to a cold sandwich. Service often felt like punishment.

Restaurant recently had a complete overhaul and refurbishment. Looks good. Very bright. Unfortunately this also means the Coca Cola Freestyle Machine is now gone.

Unfortunately it was renovated a few weeks ago. Since then, no more Coca-Cola Freestyle machines. This has always given this Burger King an absolute unique selling point. Too bad...

A good Burger King. Toilet was clean. The tables were clean. The food was good.

Until recently I could have recommended this branch without hesitation, but after the renovation a few weeks ago due to the change of operator, I have to say clearly that I can no longer do that. The staff is friendly but seems at their limit. The drinks system with different types of cola, fuze tea, water etc. was removed and for me and my friends that was one of the main reasons for eating there. Cherry or raspberry cola with lime is no longer available and a big minus point for me! The interior design is catastrophic. The counter was completely careless and sterile, as were the chairs at the tables. The chairs remind me of my school days and are extremely uncomfortable for eating, even with the thin layer of foam on the seat. The play equipment for the children is no longer available outside. I can't say whether a new one will come. It's a shame anyway. 2 stars deducted because of the drinks machine, 1 star from the staff for their annoying service and 4 stars deducted for the catastrophic downgrade in the interior design. (If things get back to normal there, I'll be happy to make a positive adjustment to the review. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this branch at this point)

The food at Burger King is always delicious, and most of the employees are friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, there is one employee whose name tag says he is Koenen, who is very unfriendly and obviously treats his colleagues badly - this is noticeable every time. There was a particularly negative situation shortly before closing time when he brought in an advertising sign and immediately afterwards prepared our burgers without washing his hands. This definitely shouldn't happen! Apart from that everything else is going well, but Mr. Koenen's behavior spoils the overall impression.

My favorite because you can place orders there and they also make it great that you can pay in cash. If you order from McDonald's you can only pay with a bank

I'm always wondering what to put down for a Coke burger and fries

Waited 10 minutes at the car counter, no one answered...the checkout window only responded to repeated calls. You could count the fries that were part of the menu on two hands. The cup was completely smeared with cola. Why should I come back?

It's okay, but apart from the Whopper and the Big King, it just tastes better at Mäcces.

If there are 3 cars in front of you at the drive-in counter, there is a waiting time of 20-30 minutes. to be expected. Nothing for quick hunger.

I occasionally enjoy eating at Burger King and so far I've always been very satisfied. But this time it was a big disappointment. Most of the burgers weren't available because there were no small buns. It's strange... So we ordered 2 large burgers for around 17 euros... The quality was shocking, the bun crumbled in the hand, the sauce dripped, the salad fell out. Not very tasty for a lot of money. It's a shame, but I can only recommend going next door to MD, even if the queue is significantly longer. But, actually, no wonder.
