Burger King in Cottbus

Often involves a long wait! Drive-through orders should be checked; items are frequently missing. This is not fast food...

The manager should consider how smart it is to open at 10 a.m. but then stay open until 11 p.m. Who doesn't want a coffee and a snack at 9 a.m.? And who wants to go to Burger King at 10:45 p.m.?

Not as dark and gloomy as McDonald's these days :)

I have to say I'm really angry and disappointed today. We placed a large order and ended up paying €55. Because of the size of the order, the preparation naturally took longer – no problem. What I don't understand, though, is why the fries have to be put in bags right at the beginning, where they just get soggy and cold. When I pointed out to the server that the fries would be cold, she just said, "They're kept warm in there." But they do sweat in the bag and aren't crispy anymore. After 10 minutes, everything was ready: six burgers in one bag and the fries in another. The fries were lukewarm and no longer crispy, and when I unpacked the burgers at home, the bottom ones were completely squashed. The long chicken was also dried out. For that price, I really expect a bit more effort and better service. Sorry.

Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich. Zu Stoßzeiten muss man natürlich einige Wartezeit in Kauf nehmen. Das ist aber normal, wenn alle Leute gleichzeitig kommen. Das Essen insgesamt schmeckt gut. Die Tische werden auch ständig gereinigt.

I'm glad there's a Burger King in Cottbus. The place is well-run, and you get exactly what you'd expect from a Burger King. I usually go for the King Selection; I simply like it the best. With the Burger King app, you can also collect points and redeem vouchers, which is really worth it. Sure, it's fast food. But sometimes it's exactly what you need after a long day or just want to "reward" yourself with. The burgers are greasy, gooey, and delicious in that wonderfully "chemically good" way. I'm definitely a Burger King fan; compared to McDonald's or KFC, I definitely prefer Burger King. When I'm at the airport or a motorway service station and there's a Burger King, I'm always tempted to just go there instead of trying something new. Certainly not a particularly healthy habit, but you can keep some vices.

Basically a solid store. The drive-thru is in desperate need of an overhaul. Signs might help prevent the less able-bodied customers from blocking the turn. A mirror across the street so you can see if the line is moving.

Very loud, service practically nonexistent, ordering terminal is underground and takes a long time. After a five-year boycott of B. King and MC Dreck, this is what I expected... nothing, and worse than five years ago. Respect!

My favorite once a month, with my granddaughter she is planning burgers, I have been having the incomparable long chili chess burger for years 😋😋😋😋Mac Donald can't compete 🤔

We had to wait a really long time.

The price-performance ratio is questionable. A minimalist meal for too much money, which unfortunately spoils your appetite and the desire to return. The offerings are decent, the restaurant is relatively clean, and the staff are friendly.

Whether it's this fast-food chain or another one... price/performance in 2025 = I don't have to put up with it anymore. Still OK.

The food here is delicious. I'd say it's normal Burger King standards. Unfortunately, the service isn't up to scratch in my opinion. The staff aren't particularly friendly. The wait time is very, very long. I'm aware that the McDonald's in the north of Cottbus is closed, but I'd noticed the long wait times before. There were well over 30 orders displayed at some points, and we just didn't feel like waiting in line. So we left. Another time we waited, and it was 45 minutes, and I think that's just too long. Otherwise, a solid place for Burger King food.

It's best to order from the machine; the staff at the counter barely understand German.

Staff forgets half of the order

The slowest Burger King I've ever experienced. I had five orders in front of me, none of which were large, and I waited half an hour for my small meal. The employees were there, but unfortunately, they weren't organized at all. The food was great, but it's nothing like fast food. Some a la carte restaurants are faster. It was so incredibly slow that the drive-thru line blocked the parking spaces, and it took me more than 10 minutes to get out of the parking lot.

I don't understand the criticism of the meals so far. I haven't been disappointed by the food yet. The ambiance is also very pleasant. Unfortunately, I've experienced several times that the staff didn't understand me, which I can't understand. As a customer, I at least expect that the language of the country in which I visit a fast-food restaurant is spoken. Do the employees there not receive language training, or is it simply not a requirement to speak the official language? I don't understand it; it's happened to me several times now. I simply want to place my order. If it's gotten to the point where the employees can't even enter the numbers for a voucher code, I have to question how well the management has thought through this concept. It's a shame; I used to really enjoy going there. It probably won't happen again in the future.

Everything is sticky: the floor, the cup, the toilet, even the flowers outside. And the woman with black hair doesn't care at all that everything is sticky.

We waited over 45 minutes for our order... and it wasn't even full that day...

Pay for large fries! Get free for a child??? And overdue fries that are no longer fresh! The worst Burger King I've ever seen in Germany!

The food is still great, as in all Burger King locations, the atmosphere is fine, and there are plenty of comfortable seats. And the service has improved significantly since my last review, which is why they're getting their fifth star back today.

The food was good and the burgers looked good, too. The staff was friendly and the place was very clean. We'd gladly go back.

I was there for the first time in years and was promptly disappointed again. Since I was passing through, I took my order with me. I ordered a long chicken meal with a drink and a side. I also had a long chicken, a Whopper Jr., and a hamburger. When I got home, I realized that I had paid for everything, but the hamburger was stolen, and the same thing happened several years ago. Somehow, I think I have the typical "I'm stealing things from him" look, or there's just a method to it. People, pay attention, check. It was only €2.30 for me, but if this happens regularly, you can make money with nothing. That's just a bad review. Sorry, BK Cottbus.

My mother got food poisoning from this Burger King last night. The chicken nuggets weren't cooked all the way through. The health department should definitely take a look. Because either the food isn't cooked all the way through or the cold chain is broken. And judging by the reviews, this isn't an isolated incident.

Loved the burgers, chicken wings also the ambience. Your employees are very friendly.

I really like the Big King XXL, but the service! Toys for the little ones are just thrown into bags, and I'm repeatedly observed them. It takes a long time for orders to be processed. The atmosphere is more like you should leave.

Very long wait times. Employees are completely relaxed even when the place is full. The place is filled every 10 minutes, but an order is sometimes ready. I can't recommend this place.

The staff at the drive-thru (4:00 p.m. yesterday) had a short fuse, were unfriendly, aggressive and refused to give us our order.

So far, my order has never been complete; something was always missing. A very long wait at the BurgerDrive. The burgers were dry. Very poor quality!

The ice cream machine never works in the summer, which is a bit strange. They probably don't want to make any money... The burgers are good, but the rest is rubbish. Plus, you wait forever for your food if you order inside. For ice cream, go to Mc's instead...

We had dinner there this evening. Unfortunately all the burgers were hard and very dry. They looked like they had been lying there for several hours. In addition, the burgers were already cold. In my Sphne's hamburgers, the paper was already stuck to the burger due to the dried ketchup. When this was mentioned to the staff, they responded with little understanding. After a short explanation, the burger was swapped. Unfortunately, the one I replaced wasn't any better either. All in all very disappointing today.

Unfortunately I have to change my post from 2 years ago! I will NEVER go there again. Ordered 2 crispy chicken, onion rings and fries there 3 weeks ago. As I ate this comfortably in my company car and was full, I unfortunately realized a few hours later how bad a person can feel if their stomach has been upset. I had endless cramps, diarrhea and vomiting. From the looks of the toilet, it was just the food that came out. A week later at the same meal, a colleague had the same problem! It's a shame that I didn't go to the doctor and then to the consumer advice center. I would have wished it for you 👍🏻 You will definitely not get my money anymore 👍🏻

Bomb works, personable and sweet

Ordered chili cheese chicken tortilla and more. I got a dry and really hard tortilla that crumbled like crackers. The cheese was completely dry and the chicken wasn't crispy. Couldn't even eat it. I tried to return it but was told it was just made that way. This is very strange as it has never been done like this before. I wonder if disgusting food is something new on the menu?

These people didn't invent working. We waited 57 minutes. The store was full and it took a long time to place an order and then it was packed incorrectly. Unfortunately, no more fast food restaurant for us.

I think that the electronic boards and the janze online nonsense are completely exaggerated and complicated. This should be taken out again. Everything used to be better.

Yes, recommended. The place was packed and we only waited 11 minutes for food... And be careful... Kudos to the guy who takes care of the toilets... Really clean... Why only 4 points? You can't freely choose the drink on the coupon menus. Give me a tip and I'll give it 5 stars

Rarely experienced something so unfriendly, no response to hello, bag placed on the counter without a word, no goodbye, long wait even though the shop was empty. Burger lukewarm, nuggets sticky... Even one star is too many... sad when you go to work so depressed.

What I experienced here today has never happened to me before and it was definitely the last time I'll ever spend a cent at Burger King. 5 people, just under 63 euros. So far normal. We took it with us because we still had to go to the train station. We started eating in front of the train station and when my husband opened his long chicken he saw two small pieces of meat. At first it looked good but upon closer inspection we realized that one piece had a bite mark. The piece of meat was already on some other burger which probably went back or wasn't quite made. It was then simply fried again and ended up on our burger. Disgusting!!! We've never experienced anything like this before. And it's just a good thing that my husband always opens the burgers and checks what the meat looks like. We were passing through otherwise we would definitely have come back to you with the burger. Something like that absolutely doesn't work and it sucks.

Still the worst BK I know. Something from the order is constantly forgotten and you have to go back. The burgers are carelessly thrown together and some are old, hard buns. Probably just warmed up. At the drive-in, make sure they have packed everything in your bag! It's been so exaggerated lately that something is missing.

So first I would like to say something about the 1-3 star reviews. I would describe myself as a burger connoisseur and there was little to complain about here today. The citizens lived up to expectations - the crispy chicken was particularly fresh, but the xtra-long chili cheese was a bit too greasy. Although one of the three crispy chickens was forgotten, it was served to us without any problems. Toilets and the dining area were clean. Finally, the only thing left to complain about was the audience - there were cars with fair game stickers in the parking lot. Dirty Nazis are no good in an otherwise clean Burger King.

I'm very disappointed with Burger King now. I also want to say why. What can you say about the service at Terminal. Ambiance when return stations are full isn't that great either! But what I find and now I don't know whether it's just this branch or whether it's Burger King itself, there are savings everywhere and to a certain point it's understandable, but if the burgers are now so dry because there's hardly any sauce left on them They're probably no longer Burger King. Everything gets more expensive and the portions get smaller but if the taste suffers then it stops!

Very cool, only 2 stars for service because you don't order at the checkout, but only via LCD terminals.

You come to your place once in 10 years to give your child a treat after the cinema and then, apart from the ice cream, they simply forget the entire kids menu!! That's an absolute impudence, but it's not surprising given all the illiterate people behind the counter!! My recommendation to everyone...go to the gas station next door and buy yourself a bockwurst!!

Waiting at the Drive Inn counter is standard here. The orders have to be checked straight away...it's easy to forget something. Update 2021: once again ordered more than three burgers and half of them are forgotten again. If you don't check the goods immediately, you simply avoid eating a burger. At 10 a.m. there was no one there just us and we ordered 4 burgers. So the employees didn't have any stress at all because there wasn't a customer there anyway and they forgot a burger, how does that work? If there had been 100 people, ok, but there was no one there and no one came. Before you go, make sure you have what you ordered!!!!
