A very nice shop, super clean, restrooms look like new, and nice and friendly staff. I'd love to come back.

I have to say, they've been serving really great fries with currywurst for years. And for five euros, too. After taking over the hot box, we were concerned that the quality would change. But it's always remained just as good.

A quick, classic dish for €5. Friendly service brings the "pan dish." I'd be happy to order again.

A truly beautiful shop with friendly staff, but the food 🧐 I only had a currywurst with fries, but that was nothing! I'm only giving it three stars because I only had one dish!!! Maybe the rest is great 🤷 but I probably won't try it because the prices were hotter than the sausage 😱 Mustard was one euro 🤨

Today we had the special: fries, currywurst, and mayo for 5 euros. The sausage was finely chopped and well-seasoned. The fries were well-fried, and the mayo was very tasty. Great for the price. Update from June 27, 2025: The special is still available, but without mayo. The fries were extremely tasty. The sausage was also good. The food is served in a cute pan. There are a few taller tables at the table, not suitable for shorter people.

We were there today and I was so disgusted. I had a long hair in my food, and so did another customer. The server said, "Sorry, I have no idea where that came from." He should make sure the people behind the counter tie their hair back or wear a hair cap. So, they won't be seeing me there again.

In direct comparison to Datteln - definitely Team Datteln! :-) It was also good in the south, but the 🍔 at Burger Fam in Datteln tasted a bit better.

Delicious food, small improvement idea The food was really great – juicy burgers, fresh ingredients and the taste was absolutely convincing. The selection is good and completely sufficient. Smaller portions or a special children's burger would be desirable for small children - the normal portions are simply too large. The prices are a bit high, but the quality is good and the overall package fits. We'd love to come back!

Positive: Very stylish and cozy store, a large selection with something for everyone, and superb taste! Contrary: Unfortunately, the value for money isn't great. For these prices (sometimes €16 for a burger), you don't even get a side dish. The burgers are also getting smaller and smaller, subjectively speaking. They used to be larger. The fries are very disappointing, as they're just regular fries and more like Teka food. For the prices, you'd expect something better, e.g., made with fresh potatoes. All in all: You can do it once, but for these prices, you could almost go to a proper restaurant.

Delicious burgers, but a main course was missing from the order, which was also paid for. When trying to reach someone by phone this was not possible for over 1 hour and 30 attempts. Miserable service and starving child, a shame about what was actually a delicious burger experience!

They used to be great, but burgers have become smaller, more expensive, and no longer as tasty as they used to be. It's a real shame, and the service used to be better. But the kicker is the €3 delivery fee😳

Today was our first time eating at the new restaurant. The two girls behind the counter were very friendly and efficient. The place was crowded and the phone was ringing off the hook, but I still got my order pretty quickly, and it was delicious. In my opinion, it was even better than the old restaurant. Definitely recommend it. I'll be prepared to wait a while on weekends, but it's never a disappointment! Thank you, dear team.

I'm sorry! Unfortunately the currywurst wasn't as good as it used to be, I had the feeling that it wasn't fried but rather fried and the sauce also deducted a point!!! You can no longer watch the preparation; a facade has been built in front of it!!!! Sorry the quality has deteriorated!!!

I actually had delicious burgers in mind. But when I was served my burger there, I thought the staff was kidding me. Biting into the cheeseburger confirmed the poor appearance of the burger: it tasted like a consumer microwave burger. Not nearly the level I expected. Was the last visit there.

Still ok, but after the move it's not nearly as good as before. The meat in particular no longer tastes as good as it used to. The air in the new location is extremely stuffy.

Incredibly expensive, but always delicious! Unfortunately, the vegetarian patty doesn't really taste that good. However, individual requests regarding the burger filling are always taken into account. You have to spend a lot of money here, but it's always delicious!

Very good burger! Homemade bun - nice and soft and lightly toasted, could use a little more butter for moisture. Meat is good and nothing from the freezer, roasted ingredients could have been a little stronger 👍🏼 Fresh salad and well balanced with meat and cheese. Fries were tasty, but they would have benefited from another 30 seconds in the fries 😄 In terms of price, it's in the same league as any other modern burger shop, although you'll at least get full here compared to many (rarely justifiably) hyped smash burger joints etc. 4.5 out of 5 stars for me 👍🏼

For decades, the Heisse Kiste has been part of Recklinghausen South! Burger Fam can't hold a candle to it! No thanks, that's it!

I spontaneously stopped by this evening to pick up food for my partner and me. Despite a very busy schedule, the service was prompt, friendly, and attentive. The orders were processed quickly and in an organized manner. Even a last-minute addition to the order was no problem and was passed on immediately. Although the food was ordered to-go, it arrived piping hot thanks to the good packaging. All in all, an absolutely wonderful experience. My partner and I are already looking forward to the next time.

(2go review before and after moving the premises) Always happy to be with you. The burgers are awesome 🤤 However, a big negative point is the staff... last time I had cold corn dogs that were remade straight away which wasn't an issue but this time the patties were partly still raw 😖 please take your time when making the food so you don't have to run into your place. And even then, something like that shouldn't happen...it's annoying at home, I can't do anything about it because I don't live nearby. Please pay attention to this in the future then you have easily earned the 5 stars.

Delicious smash burgers at a fair price. Tastes delicious and fresh. The only thing I found was the supposedly homemade burger sauce, which tasted like the standard hamburger sauce from a discount store. I'll try a different burger next time. Still, highly recommended!

I would like to share my experience during my visit to your branch. Despite the digitalization of 2023, I was sad to find that card payments were not offered. This should be considered standard in this day and age and could be a significant limitation for many customers. The note on the counter, written with a white permanent marker, unfortunately underscored this fact. I would also like to express my disappointment at the unfriendliness of the employee behind the counter. Professional and friendly customer service is essential and contributes significantly to the overall impression of the store. Unfortunately, I did not have a positive experience in this regard during my visit. In comparison, I found that the Datteln branch clearly stands out in terms of service and the friendliness of the employees.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal hier und wollten uns aufgrund der bislang hauptsächlich guten Bewertungen selbst überzeugen. Die Burger waren lecker, keine Frage. Aber für 11,70 Euro (ohne Beilage) dann doch ziemlich teuer. Zudem waren wir während unseres Besuchs an einem Freitag Abend die ganze Zeit die einzigen Gäste, was uns sehr gewundert hat. Vielleicht preislich einfach zu hoch. Und trotz der "Einsamkeit" im Laden haben wir leider recht lange auf unser Essen warten müssen. Am Ende nur Barzahlung möglich. Da es noch zahlreiche andere Burger-Läden in gleicher Qualität gibt, die auch nicht so weit außerhalb liegen, denke ich nicht, dass wir noch einmal wiederkommen werden.

We were very excited and full. We really enjoyed the burgers. In terms of price it's also completely ok. A Super Nintendo is available to pass the time while you wait 😄. But remember to take cash with you!

Wie kann das sein, dass ich bisher keine Bewertung abgegeben habe? Burger Fam steht schon seit längerem für ein kleines aber feines Burger Restaurant im Süden der Stadt. Meiner Meinung nach die besten Burger hier in der Nähe. Einzeln und immer frisch zubereitet mit selbst gemachten Pattys. Nix TK! manchmal wartet man länger, im Winter ist es etwas frisch im Restaurant, recht basslastige Musik und leider nur Barzahlung. Aber all das mindert nicht den guten Burger. Wir sind gerne hier. Daumen hoch.

Wie immer hat es uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Die beiden Jungs waren sehr nett und höflich. Einziger kleiner Punkt "es war zu kalt in eurem Gastraum". Lüften ist sicherlich wichtig. Aber für die Gäste, die aufs Essen warten etwas zu unangenehm.

Also man kann da auch nicht zu viel verlangen, was Bequemlichkeit abgeht. Preise nicht gerade im unteren Segment, aber es hat sich echt gelohnt. Also ich habe den Burger gerade noch geschafft, aber das ist echt viel und sehr gross. Ich würde sagen das ist eigentlich eine tages Mahlzeit. 👍👍👍👍

Richtig gute Burger, ich glaube nicht das es in der Umgebung bessere gibt! Chili Cheese Fries mit die besten die ich je gegessen habe. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen.

Leider kann ich die Bewertungen nicht ganz bestätigen. Die Dame war natürlich sehr nett, das Fleisch allerdings tot gebraten und die Getränke wurden vergessen. Generell aber sehr nette Einrichtung wenn man vor Ort speist.

Heute haben wir das erste Mal zum liefern bestellt und es war unfassbar lecker! Der Lieferant war pünktlich, sehr freundlich und sympathisch! Das Essen war warm, ordentlich eingepackt und wie immer lecker. Eigentlich bin ich ein Kritiker bezüglich Lieferungen, aber heute habe ich es keinesfalls bereut. Ab jetzt wird auch öfter und mit einem guten Gewissen bei Burger Fam bestellt!! TOP TOP TOP, total empfehlenswert!

Wir wollten unbedingt mal wieder richtig handgemachte Burger essen. Wir sind extra aus Bottrop angereist da es hier in der Nähe nur so „Tankstellen“ Burger gibt. Wir haben einfach total Bock gehabt auf diese Berlin/Hamburg Style Burger, wo man richtig merkt das liebe drin steckt. Und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Wir haben die Burger abgeholt, sie sind bombensicher verpackt, wenn man den Burgerkarton öffnet, kommt einem ein Burger entgegen der in eine Tüte eingepackt ist die man auch beim Essen drum lassen kann damit nichts vom Burger verrutscht. Wir hatten 3 Burger Cheeseburger: einfach ein klassischer Cheeseburger fast schon Klischeehaft aber vom Geschmack her 10/10. Bacon Fam: Zutaten super aufeinander abgestimmt, Käse und Mayo sehr gut. Bacon on Point. Hatten noch einen Bacon Fam mit extra Nachos. Sehr interessant. Bei allen Burgern waren die Bun‘s weich und nicht durchgematscht. Die Pommes waren auch gut. Wir werden wieder kommen, liebe Grüße aus Bottrop ☝🏼

Sowohl die liebevolle und freundliche Bedienung als auch das unfassbar leckere Essen in diesem Laden, lassen keinen Platz mehr für offene Wünsche! Man kann sich einfach nur wohlfühlen, es wird mit frischen Zutaten gearbeitet, es ist sauber und die Preise dort unglaublich!!! Wir werden definitiv öfters kommen :)!

Immer frische und leckere Burger. Die Beilagen wie Black Pepper Stripes oder Chilicheese Pommes sind der Wahnsinn. Nettes Personal.

Die besten Burger in der gesamten Umgebung. Ich bin häufiger in der Gegend und verpasse es dabei nie mindestens einmal dort zu essen. Hab mittlerweile jeden Burger durchprobiert und kann eigentlich jeden empfehlen aber der bacon fam Burger ist nicht zu toppen. Dazu kommt die durchweg nette Bedienung. Besonders die blonde immer freundlich und zuvorkommend. Kann es uneingeschränkt empfehlen.
