We ordered 2 burgers and a fries with sauces home at the weekend. The burgers were tasty but had already cooled down completely, which was still okay. We think the handful of completely cold fries for €10 is simply cheeky. Nowadays it is possible to deliver the food to the customer hot using warming boxes. And given the prices, could colorful burgers afford something like that or not?! Too bad... we won't eat there again so quickly :(

Super tasty and great ambience. I was here with my mom, who has to eat gluten-free. The many gluten free burger options and the gluten free beer (even has alcohol and gluten free to choose from) were great! We had the happy Buddha burger and beyond meat (as a low carb version) as well as the truffle fries and garlic fries. Incredibly tasty and we couldn't finish the fries because there were so many. If I could I would give 10 stars. The ambience is also great and there is a great play area with wooden toys for children. The music and the service also 10/10. Everything was delicious and lovingly decorated and prepared. We'll be back and we felt really comfortable. I would also like to point out that I am not actually a “vegan fan” and was here because of a voucher, but the food was simply incredibly good. I can't put it into words and I'm super grateful for the voucher that got us here. Try it out!!

Great recommendation for eating out in Ehrenfeld, very tasty, large selection of dishes.

Eat: Everything is vegan - that's of course a plus point. However, the taste of the food was not convincing. While the cauliflower wings are tasty, the currywurst was nothing special and the lasagne was really disappointing. Additionally, it was almost cold. We can't recommend the homemade drinks either. Service: We had the impression that one of the two waiters was overwhelmed or unmotivated. In the half-empty restaurant, the starter only came when the main course was almost eaten. And it seemed to bother him that we asked for salt and pepper (original tone: "Do you really need that?", when we brought it: "You're lucky that your colleague has just filled up the shaker"). Even after eating our plates stayed there for a really long time. With this taste we didn't want to order dessert anyway, but we would have liked to have something to drink. But when it came to cashing in, he was very on the ball. Ambiance: Could also pass as a branch of a chain. Price: The prices are okay - neither cheap nor expensive. Conclusion: In Cologne there are delicious alternatives that contain (more) passion and friendliness.

The breakfast/brunch here is delicious. If you need to pay attention to vegan and gluten-free products, you've come to the right place. There is a large selection at breakfast and the service was very friendly and attentive. However, if you arrive by car, the parking situation here is poor. Then you should park in the parking garage at Neptunbad and take the train to the 2 stations.

Atmosphäre ok. Zum Zahlen haben wir ewig gewartet. Das Essen echt enttäuschend. Ich koche zu Hause auch vegetarisch oder vegan und definitiv schmackhafter. Fish&Chips: Die Süßkartoffel Pommes waren super, auch die Dips. Der Visch nahezu ungenießbar. Kauft lieber von Mühlen das veggi Schnitzel bei Rewe. Das Tofu Bouvignon war matschig weich und so richtig der Grund, warum Fleischessen Tofu hassen. Es gibt so viele Ersatzprodukte wie Jackfruit, warum muss es dieses pappige Tofu sein?! Wie gehen nicht mehr hin.

If I lived in Cologne, I think I would go here every week. 😁 The selection is so large and promising that it is difficult to decide. From starters to burgers, bowls, vegan cheese spaetzle and vegan desserts, everything is there. Makes my 🌱 heart beat faster. Today I was here again. I've been a regular customer here for a long time and the waitress already knew us and knew what we were ordering - this was about 4 months ago. Today I was here and after our table was shown and then we were there for an hour and we weren't noticed at all. It wasn't even full that one could understand this

We couldn't be happier with our decision to choose you as our caterer. Since we both live vegan lives, it was not a discussion for us to offer purely vegan catering at our wedding. Unfortunately, finding a location that doesn't have an obligatory catering partner (and whose vegan offerings are usually rather half-hearted) proved difficult. And so we first chose the catering - and Mario supported us in the choice with his suggestions. From finding the location to crockery, renting tablecloths, incredibly great service staff, great arrangements and excellent food - we were completely satisfied. THANKS! We would deduct a tenth of a star because our guests ate the aioli too quickly. For future wedding couples: order double the portion. :D Or as one of our wedding guests said: "Whenever one person burps, I feel like eating aioli again." It was so delicious!

We hired Bunte Burger to cater our wedding because we wanted to offer delicious, vegan food. Mario took a lot of time to take all of our wishes into account and put together a fantastic buffet for us. The food was incredibly tasty, our guests (mostly meat eaters) were thrilled and could hardly believe that everything was vegan! Thank you, Mario! The food was good but not great. I would have eaten this again, but it might not be my first choice.

Unfortunately the burger was cold and didn't taste particularly good. We ordered a large portion of sweet potatoes for almost ten euros, but what came was a small bowl full. The salad dressing was good, but you had to mix it yourself. We paid €55 for two people. Conclusion: it is very expensive but doesn't taste particularly good. There was a sign on the table that said if you awarded five points you could win a free meal. I told the waitress that I don't think it's good if you have to buy a good rating this way. She didn't want to understand it. There are no longer separate toilets for men and women. As a woman you are now allowed to go into the men's toilet and past the men standing at the urinal. So-called gender toilets. I find something like that impossible. I told the waitress this, but there was no understanding either. So there is no recommendation from me.

The starters were quite small. The cauliflower nuggets were tiny. Overall, I didn't think the price-performance ratio was optimal.

Unfortunately we waited 1 hour for the food. (The restaurant wasn't really full). Then the burgers didn't taste good either. The consistency was “mushy” and the seasoning was rather plain. A pity.

Unfortunately for me, no more recommendation. Service and people are great, there's nothing to complain about. The food is ok, sometimes even really tasty. But, for example, almost 5 euros for 5 champions in sauce is tough. In addition, the menu has changed and there are no longer some delicious dishes. Unfortunately it's no longer worth a visit for me. We came across this burger restaurant by chance during our visit to Cologne. At the same time, we noticed the super friendly nature of the waiters. We were warmly welcomed and throughout our stay the staff was charming, funny, courteous and attentive. We ordered a burger dish and a schnitzel dish. Both were very tasty and the portions were filling. The price-performance ratio was right for us. Thank you very much for the wonderful time with you. We came to you with a smile and left with even bigger smiles and happy bellies. If we are in Cologne again, we will definitely come visit you again and leave a very clear recommendation here.

We had colorful burgers as catering for our wedding. Communication was easy and quick. The food arrived on time and the relevant accessories were delivered straight away. Most importantly, the food was outstanding. We were able to choose several different dishes and everything was prepared perfectly.

Very varied menu with great vegan dishes. My Joppie burger was juicy, well topped and very well seasoned. I really enjoyed the homemade lemonade (lemon/mint). The cheesefries were delicious and I didn't notice that the cheese was vegan. The cappuccino with oat milk was also great. The staff is super friendly and our dachshund felt very comfortable too. This was my first visit here, but not my last!

Had previously eaten at Bunte Burger for an event at Cinenova. I only chose the restaurant because the second person is vegan and is close to the cinema. I'll keep it short: As a non-vegan, I was thrilled. The Vöner is really great and deliciously seasoned. The brewery plate was also fine, if a bit heavy with fries and hash browns in one dish. The cheese dip was fantastically spicy and indistinguishable from a real cheese dip. Service was very friendly and we will come back. It's a shame that it's a piece from Mönchengladbach, otherwise it would be "Come again" instead of "Come again"! Thanks for the culinary expansion!

Delicious! I've been here several times, whether it's for breakfast on Sundays or for a Vöner burger or currywurst in the afternoon and evening, it's always a hit!

I ate there twice, the food is ok, but nothing more, neither the burger nor the currywurst could convince me, the taste was rather boring. Unfortunately, those who knew how to make burgers no longer exist! Also, I don't like the toilet situation.

I celebrated my birthday with brunch here with 10 people. Good value for money for Cologne. Good selection at the buffet. Everything tasted good, except for the filter coffee (included). We then ordered capuccino and espresso separately. The service was very friendly. We were here for the first time. Will definitely try the vegan burgers on our next visit. I also liked the ambience/decor.

Super delicious food and friendly service. So far I've had the Chrispy Chickin and the Vöner plate - you can taste absolutely no difference to “real” meat. Great alternative where even the carnivorous plants among us can find what they are looking for and everyone goes home happy!

The burger at this place are absolutely amazing! I habe never eaten sich a delicious vegetarian burger. I can’t even describe what was on it, just telling you, you have to go and check it out! Prices are a little bit more expensive, but it is worth every penny. Second visit: it didn’t really taste that good, I think there are better places to eat in cologne.

Monkey Monday: December 23rd There was a great vegan 5-course Christmas menu with, among other things, a vegan Christmas roast, super delicious bread and a great dessert. So definitely a recommendation and we’ll definitely see you again in 2024. The price can be based on 2 people + drinks (wine and water) and Digistif at €80-90, which I find very reasonable.
