Been here for the third time and am always surprised at how great the food is. We always enjoy coming to eat from Bocholt.

Today we had lunch in the Sattgrün and a few hours later drank coffee and ate cake. And both were extremely successful. The buffet concept gives you the freedom to choose between numerous very tasty vegan dishes. The range of cakes was equally varied and tasty. And the cappuccino is sensationally good. The employee behind the counter responsible for the cash register and drinks was also super friendly and patient. And the prices were very reasonable. Overall, an unreserved recommendation and a perfect advertisement for vegan nutrition!

Don't know if it's because of the vegan dishes, but the main courses are so heavily spiced that after a few bites you can hardly get the taste out of your mouth. So the soups were good and you get a lot for your money. Salads are good too, but anything warm really doesn't work. Were there with four people, so it's not just my subjective opinion. Sorry, I don't think vegan dishes need to be so seasoned. The only ok dish I think was soy Stroganov. Everything is still heavy in the stomach. :/ Oh yes, it would be great if there was just a leaf salad at the salad bar where you could put a few soy strips on it. Actually there are only salads available that are based on pasta, chickpeas, lentils and white cabbage. You don't get anything easy. Not ours, but as we all know, taste can be debated.

Soup was only lukewarm. Lots of noise and very tight space. Food was really good.

One of the top addresses in Cologne. Very tasty food, everything cruelty-free, super friendly staff. Lentil soup tastes a bit poor, but very tasty if you add some seasoning. Why aren't there in Frankfurt?

Very tasty buffet with around 50 dishes to combine. You pay for the plate depending on the size and can fill it once. Most of it was very tasty, some of it was a bit over-spiced, but still ok. Very nice staff. If you try it, it's a great meal even for non-vegetarians.

Healthy and serve yourself. I like it! Half the buffet is cold and half is hot. I got the smallest takeaway box size for €12.90. I filled it up with cold foods and it was more than enough food for me. I definitely recommend this place if you want a meal that will make you feel good.

This restaurant offers a excellent selection of vegan food, with a range of hot and cold options. This is a good venue to stop off at for lunch while you are exploring Cologne. The food is a quite salty and the saltiness dominated most of the foods that I tried. This is a very high three, but I couldn’t give it a 4 because of the saltiness. Definitely a place to stop off at for a feed. Staff were friendly and excellent English speakers and the outdoor area was nice, but there were a fair few wasps looking to try my food!

Tastes are different, we didn't like it at all and it was very expensive, almost 16 euros just for the salad..

The concept is something different. You pay for your plate size and are then free to choose from the buffet. There is a super large selection. I tried to try as much as possible, which wasn't possible 😃 it was all super delicious! The only risk is that you take too much 🙈 absolutely recommended for vegans and anyone else who is looking for delicious food at a reasonable price 😊

The food here is excellent, although it might take a moment to figure out which plates go with which dishes. Once you get the hang of their system, you'll be able to choose from a wide variety of ingredients and customize your meal to your liking.

I grab medium plate, fill it to the top. Me try about 20 dishes on 1 plate. Freaking good all of them. Loved it. Might visit köln to try food again in case get caught by bad case of hunger.

Protein shower. I think I must have eaten about 100gr of protein for 20 euros of total bill. They have variety of tofu and seitan dishes. You need to be a regular to develop your preferences there. There simply are too many things to eat at one go, even if you eat very little of each. I'd definitely go there again, especially with friends next time.

The food was wonderful as always. A vegan buffet couldn't be better. The cleanliness of the tables and the women's toilet were absolutely not okay.

I'm sorry but the food was absolutely not edible. I was there to celebrate and didn't want to send anything back so that there wouldn't be a riot, but I wouldn't have given that stuff to my dog. Go somewhere else for vegan food, this is nothing.

The food was good, but the restaurant was filthy. Every table was dirty, the trays wet, there were pieces of food in most of the "clean" dishes and the toilets were disgusting.

If your looking from a break from eating meat or your simple a vegetarian/vegan this place is a must visit whilst you’re in Koln. The food is both good value and tastes excellent with salads and hot food and big portions of cake to finish…. will definitely be coming back

The noodles are rock hard, the rice is basically unsalted, the vegetables are completely overcooked or burnt almost black and the soy slices, among other things, are totally over-seasoned. The grilled pepper was the only thing that was tasty. Straw in the soda bottle (there apparently were no glasses) caused uncontrolled overflow at the table. A dirty rag was provided for self-wiping. So much for the service. There is time pressure when opening the plates at the buffet because the next guests are already waiting in line. And there are no labels on the dishes, some are not even clearly visible, so choosing is a hectic matter of luck. Unpleasant! I also saw other guests leaving half pieces of cake behind, so we probably weren't the only ones who weren't happy... I can't explain how so many positive reviews come about.

A wonderful place in Köln. Everyone found something he loved in this great restaurant. Everything was delicious and tasty. The homemade yuzu-kiwi lemonade perfect. Very nice (and patient 😊) staff. We recommend 10 times !

We were there some time ago (about 10 years) when it was still hidden behind hedges and not immediately on the presentation plate. The food is very good and the staff is polite but competent.

Visited a restaurant of this kind for the first time today - arrived with anticipation, was served with amazement, ate a full-bodied meal, and left extremely satisfied. The selection is overwhelming, I piled as much as I could onto my large plate to try. All in all, the taste was so individual and pleasantly intense that I'm not sure which tasted best (in short: everything). The only small drawback: Some of the spoons for scooping were really hot in the hand 🖐🏻 We definitely gained another new favorite restaurant with today's visit. Thank you that something like this even exists, thank you for the huge selection, your friendliness and the beautiful ambience both inside and outside. ❤️

Our top-2 find in Cologne! Buffet of vegan hot food, salads and soups. Their hot food (especially the jackfruit and mushrooms dishes) would turn any meat lover into a vegan. And you get huge portions. Highly recommend!

The buffet was incredibly varied and the food was very tasty and delicately seasoned! A real treat for the palate, you can tell that it's not mass-produced like everywhere else, but that every ingredient has been carefully prepared with a lot of love. The combinations are also excellent and the service was very friendly and kind and always let you talk to someone with an open ear if you had a concern and it was resolved immediately in a friendly manner. The cake was bombastically delicious and juicy, and the coffee was heavenly. I scraped out my entire remaining budget for the store and really enjoyed it. I will ALWAYS go there as soon as I'm in Cologne, I've fallen in love with the store 🌚 So kudos to the team too, you're doing a really great job, the visit made me really happy!

Traveling through Germany we stopped here off the Viking ship. We don’t usually do buffets, but this was an exception! The food was absolutely wonderful, and fast service. We filled up our bowls with a combination of salad type stuff and hot food such as curry, jackfruit, and vegan meats. We also got a chocolate cake slice to go. So delicious! 😋

You get your food from a buffet and drinks are available at the checkout. The selection is large, most things taste good, a few of the hot dishes were a bit past the point due to being under the heat lamps. The outside area is actually quite nice, cleaning it and checking it a little more often would make it more appealing.

I came here totally blindly. Just opened maps and searched vegan food. And this seemed appealing so i came. Food is delicious. I love combining cold and warm food. Even though I'm not vegan or vegetarian, I found the food quite tasty. The restaurant's proposal is that it is all-you-can-eat food that can be placed on a plate of 3 different sizes. The price is reasonable too. The vegans/vegetarians in the group loved it! Only vegan food!

So far the best vegan buffet restaurant we have ever been to. There are delicious hot and cold dishes including soups, you can sit inside or outside in a quiet spot under the umbrellas. The dishes are creative, balanced, healthy and there are various toppings. Large selection of delicious and well-prepared vegan meat substitute dishes, such as goulash or similar. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to try out a healthy, balanced, varied and filling buffet restaurant.

Favourite vegan place to eat in Cologne, good portions, great variety and really tasty soups! You choose your food from a buffet and pay depending of the type of plate you take (I believe you can choose from 3 different type of plates - 1 soup bowl, 1 salad bowl and one main plate - or a combination of them). For sure recommend for good food.

Wait 10 minutes at the buffet because the people in front of you first have to do a karma comparison to get on the same wavelength with each dish. Drinks are then selected and mixed for everyone at the cash register next to it. Sorry, after an 8-hour workday you wonder whether you've landed here on an alien planet. I left my first choice and left. The next good Italian restaurant was only 3 minutes away. My worst food and service experience in Cologne so far: the Sattgrün! I probably would have starved before I could take the first bite.

Very nice place if you like vegetarian and vegan food. Just like Spirit in Rotterdam and Amsterdam, you can brag yourself. Payment here is based on the size of the plate. So not by weight, which means you can serve as much as you want on one plate. Relaxed atmosphere, nice large terrace outside. Food and drinks delicious at a good price, honest food! Recommended.

My wife and I went here for lunch. Our expectations were more than fulfilled. The selection is huge. Everything extremely tasty. Great ambience and moderate prices. We can only recommend it.

An excellent vegan restaurant with a wide variety of food on offer. The place is nice although the interior is a little small, the terrace is on the contrary spacious. We pay according to the size of the plate (13 to 17€) but given the quality of the food, we are getting good value for money. (I am not an expert in vegan restaurants so my opinion should be taken with caution)

Unfortunately, the restaurant is really small and usually overcrowded. In addition, the food is tasty, but really expensive. There are better and cheaper alternatives in Cologne.

Love it! Fav vegan restaurant buffet in Cologne. You can choose soup for 7.9€ or plate 16.9€ where you can fill it up as much as you want with amazing vegan dishes. The cakes are super yummy too and they offer free flow water.
