BUN - It's A Sushi Thing in Berlin

The sushi here is the best I’ve had in Berlin. Fish is actually fresh and the rice is cooked perfectly, and the ratio of the two was ideal. The chefs know what they’re doing - everything was superb!

What a gem! The shashimi was so thick and fresh. Super friendly waitress ♥️ A stable Sushi destination for me and my husband for sure!

The star rating is a bit old, but that doesn't matter. Since then I have been a guest here several times and would give the same rating every time. I have never been disappointed with the food or service. The toilets are clean, well-equipped and the general atmosphere in the store is very relaxed. If anyone is thinking about going here - yes! Just do it because even friends who aren't big on sushi loved the food here. The only problem is that at some point I get full and can't eat any more.

Super tasty and authentic sushi that melts in your mouth. Artistic and lovingly prepared creations; you can clearly taste the difference to the standard sushi that you get on every corner. The restaurant is super stylish and modern. Very friendly and attentive service! The perfect place for a quick lunch with colleagues or a relaxed dinner in good company.

Amazing sushi! Cooked and served with so much care and love. We also enjoyed the service, especially the attention our child received (coloring print-outs, dessert, funny sticks). Highly recommend it and we will certainly come back!

I gave this place 5 stars for everything—food, service, atmosphere—and I truly mean it. I thoroughly enjoy my overall experience here, including the music, lighting, style, and the quality of the ingredients. It’s also very pleasant to see that the staff genuinely cares about the smallest needs of their customers. You can find plenty of useful details in the restroom, such as hand creams, hair ties, and hygiene products. These small touches reflect a high level of respect and attention to the guests, adding to the overall sense of comfort and care. And the food is definitely worth the price.

Very very quiet place near to Nature Urkunden Museum. They have a lot kinds of sushi, looks very good, but a bit expensive. This time we ordered bowls, all foods are very fresh, specially the salmon, the best one in Berlin. They also have homemade mixed juices, highly recommended!

The food was very tasty, we had 2x salmon, 1x egg, 1x cucumber, 1x truffle avocado and to drink we had 2x Jasmine Peach for a total of €38. The price was just fair and the food was so delicious, the best sushi WE have ever eaten! We'll be back. :)

Very cute location and nice food. However the service was a little slow (but nice) and I believe that the sushi is slightly overpriced for what you get. However the fish and the general quality of the food was very nice. (The picture is about 85€ worth of sushi)

The food and the juices were superb you are getting your moneys worth that’s for sure. The restaurant is very nicely set up as well, a lot of thought has gone into it. I highly recommend it.

Good place. Interesting flavours: I ordered a roll with salmon and mango, surprisingly good. Average prices They accept card payment (even Amex) Update: I came back to this place recently, still a good place, tasty, good quality of ingredients and decent prices. Special thanks for toilets for women. You can really feel care. There are menstrual products, hand cream, even a deo! I was surprised. For me, such treatment is the next level.

I don’t thing there is an even treatment at bun’s. I’m writing it based on how our order looked vs how sushi looked on a table next to us. Whole experience was also way less enjoyable than menu pics would suggest. So let’s start… Fried enogi - dripping greasy and hard to chew. Edamame - lukewarm. Jasmin peach lemonade - super sweet, jasmin notes were not there at all. Sushi - each piece tastes the same: salmon, crab, tuna - doesn’t matter. Additionally, pistachio on tuna maki wasn’t detectable, same for sesame in sake maki. We got avocado sashimi (!) instead of eel sashimi, lack of eel was not consulted. Having said that, sushi next to our table looked great and I can imagine it was also delicious. Pity.

Vegan dish: - tofu extremely dry and tasteless - too little sauce - long wait despite empty - overpriced

Delicious and good lunch offers

Food was fresh and very yummie, unfortunately the service ruined our whole experience. Had to wait 1h for our drinks and then another 40 min. for our food. Other guests arrived later, finished their food and left before we even got our mains. In the end the waiter ignored us because he wanted to avoid us because obviously he felt embarrassed. Ridiculous and not coming back!

This is my favorite sushi restaurant!!! If my guests want to have sushi in Berlin I just take them here. Fresh! Absolutely delicious!

Simply the best sushi in town. We had sushi in many countries and cities and BUN is just delivering excellent quality every time. The staff is super friendly, the owner offered us two free shots of Edinburgh gin whilst we were waiting for our take away order.

Great sushi, simple but elegant decor, friendly service. We were so full after delicious New Year's menu. Loved the cheesecake and lemon sorbet and the Japanese sticky rice dessert, too. Delectable. We'll be back for sure.

Definitely recommended for a quiet evening of eating sushi. A nice tent, with ~30 seats. So it feels calm. The food was served in a beautiful way (see photo). The price was great compared to other sushi restaurants. It took a while before we got the food, even though it was quiet. There was one waiter for all tables, but he did his best and was friendly. In addition, the music (rap, R&B) did not quite fit the atmosphere of the restaurant.

Wir waren heute das erste Mal im BUN. Das Lokal ist recht klein, wir waren zur Mittagszeit die einzigen Gäste. Leider begrüßte uns keiner als wir hereinkamen, da hätten wir eigentlich schon umdrehen und gehen müssen. Wir setzten uns dennoch hin und wollten dem Lokal eine Chance geben. Die Atmosphäre war keineswegs entspannt, im Gegenteil: Das Kind der Besitzer schrie am laufenden Spieß, was die Eltern allerdings nicht zu interessieren schien… Die Lautstärke war während unseres ganzen Aufenthalts leider durchweg hoch. Entspannt essen ist was anderes! Das Sushi war ok, allerdings haben wir schon weitaus besseres Sushi gegessen. Leider mangelt es in dem Laden auch an Hygiene, der Sushi-Mann hat sich nach dem Rauchen vor dem Laden leider nicht die Hände gewaschen - ein absolutes No Go! Am Nebentisch lagen noch Essensreste, obwohl die Gäste längst weg waren und auch sonst war das Lokal sehr unaufgeräumt, es stand z.B. an der Sushi-Theke noch eine volle Mülltüte rum. Unser Fazit: Wir waren in dem Laden definitiv zum ersten und letzten Mal! Und würden auch anderen Gästen von einem Besuch abraten.

I have eaten high quality Sushi in a number of Restaurants in Berlin and in other countries. But the quality and presentation of the Sushi Menu in Bun Sushi and Bar stands out. It is the best I have eaten in recent years. The Restaurant is relatively small. I would recommend reservation BREY pleasant attendants as well.

The food is excellent. Good variety, fresh and delicious. The restaurant has a nice relaxing atmosphere with options to seat inside or outside. The staff are very friendly.

Wir waren abends dort, weil wir Lust auf gutes Sushi hatten und fanden sowohl das kreative Angebot und die große Auswahl als auch Geschmack und Preis-Leistung super. Auch die Getränkekarte hat gute japanische Biere und geschmackvolle Cocktails. Die Stimmung zwischen den Angestellten war gut und scherzhaft, überträgt sich auf die Gäste. Einziges Manko war die Atmosphäre, wieso war das Restaurant so leer? Wir waren teilweise die einzigen Gäste, was echt schade war. Die haben mehr verdient.

Absolut grandios und innovativ ! Waren heute das zweite Mal im BUN. Das erste Mal bei einem Gin-und Sushi Event , an dem wir Auszüge aus der Karte probieren konnten ! Heute haben wir gefühlt die halbe Karte bestellt und genossen. Vor allem dei Special Rolls haben es uns angetan . Besonders empfehlenswert sind die frittierten Sushirollen mit Käse überbacken!!!! Service, Getränke und Ambiente sind perfekt ! Ein absoluter Geheimtipp für Sushiliebhaber!!!

Sushi mal auf einem ganz anderem Niveau, die Cocktails sind auch sehr gut und stark)) Das Ambiente lädt für Zweisamkeit, einen Mädelsabend oder einen Restaurant Besuch mit der Familie ein. Ein Wickeltisch ist auch vorhanden. Preis-Leistung gerechtfertigt. Wir freuen uns auf unseren nächsten Besuch)))

Tried this place with a group of friends. For starters we had edamame and spinach salad. The edamame were fine, the spinach salad with truffle cream was really odd - leaves of salad with mayonnaise on top. Which didn’t look nice nor did it taste great. For the sushi we picked different variations of fish and vegetarian. Optics are nice but the flavour lacks. The yakitori skewers were cold so they seems pre-made and heated. The cocktails and lemonades were very good - unusual flavours and good selection of sake and whiskey. Overall mediocre food and good drinks at high price. Would not return.

Guter Service zeigt sich immer dann, wenn mal was nicht ganz wie geplant klappt. Bei uns war das so und das Problem wurde zu unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit gelöst. Mehr noch: unsere Erwartungen wurden übertroffen. Deshalb - und weil das Sushi einfach phänomenal war - kann ich das Restaurant uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Wir haben gegen 18 Uhr an einem Sonntag hier gegessen und es war ziemlich leer und ruhig. Angenehmes Ambiente, sehr nette Bedienung und sehr gutes Essen. Kleine Warnung, Donburi sind ziemlich große Portionen. Ansonsten auch zu empfehlen ist der frittierte Oktopus als Vorspeise und auch Sake, wir hatten den Uijin, eiskalt serviert.

Wir waren bereits das zweite Mal dort. Die Sushis waren sehr lecker und die Limonaden sind selbst gemacht. Die Preise sind ok für die angebotene Qualität. Auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen.

Super Ambiente mit den Blautönen. Wir waren zwar zu einen Gin Tasting eingeladen, aber das Personal war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Betreiber haben uns freundlich begrüßt, dass wir erschienen sind. Zum Sushi: Wir bekamen Makis, Nigiri und Yakas Secret Roll. Der Sushireis ist super und der Fisch wirkt frisch. Endlich Mal wieder einer von wenigen Sushiläden wo Preis-Leistung Über einstimmen. Hier werden wir öfters mal Sushi essen kommen.

Schön, eine so ambitionierte und hübsche, klare Sushi-Bar dort zu haben. Bei der Vorspeise und dem Hauptgericht gab es logistische Vauxpas: Edamame wurde kalt und gummig serviert, da sie laut Service schon länger draußen standen!? Wurden dann zu 50% berechnet, da meine Tochter sie alle gegessen hat. Ich hätte sie zurückgehen lassen. Als die Hauptgerichte (sehr hübsch angerichtet) serviert wurden, wurde der Teller kurz darauf wieder abgeholt, da sich die Sushi-Rolle eines anderen Tisches zu viel darauf befand. Als es dann zurück kam, sah es nicht mehr hübsch aus. Viel Potential und werde ich bestimmt noch einmal ausprobieren, denn lecker war es.

Berlin ohne einen Besuch bei Bun ist kein richtiger Berlin Besuch. Super leckeres Sushi und super leckere Cocktails. Der nette Service rundet das Ganze ab ♥️❤️

Было хорошо, но чего-то не хватает. Но в целом не плохое место. Еда была нормальной, но цены выше среднего. На мой взгляд не совсем оправданно. Лимонад «Лимон и ягоды» в итоге подан с абсолютно не вкусно сублимированной клубникой в разгар вкусной, свежей клубники, этого я конечно я вообще не поняла. Второй раз вряд ли приеду. Но попробовать стоило.

Das wichtigste zuerst! Fantastisches Suschi! Es werden sowohl traditionelle Rollen als auch moderne Varianten angeboten. Selbst für Veganer viel Auswahl. Auf extrawünsche und uverträglichleiten wird viel Rücksicht genommen und vom Koch sogar entsprechende Alternative zubereitungen angeboten. Ebenfalls eine grosse Getränkeauswahl sowohl alkohlisch als auch alkoholfrei. Der Service ist jederzeit aufmerksam und freundlich. Man merkt dem Restaurant an das alle mit Herzblut dabei sind und hat das Gefühl das die Mitarbeiter gern dort arbeiten. Wir kommen gerne wieder!!!

It’s a very chill place, very clean, music is at low volume and the staff is friendly. I ordered Eel in a Bowl, the Eel was dead wich was good so i could eat it right away and didn’t have to fight it anymore, it was also tasty :))) oh almost forgot something i really enjoyed real hand towels in the washroom!!! and a wardrobe!!! me likey! see you soon :) thx!!
