Bentokado in Berlin

It was a nice cosy little place. Nice atmosphere and good service. The food wasn't really bad, but it wasn't great either. I've had the opportunity to enjoy the same cuisine with better ingredients better recipes and better taste. You will not regret going there however.

Terrible food. I ordered the wok udon the sauce tasted like ketchup and the chicken was dry. My partner had the ramen it was made with probably spaghetti. We are big eaters it rarely happens we leave something on the plate, but this time we gave up after a couple of bites. We sent back the almost full plates, did let the staff know that it was uneatable, a bit of compansation for the bad experience would had been nice, unfortunately it didn't happen we paid full price. I don't usually leave reviews but unfortunately I feel like it is necessary, it was an exceptionally bad experience.

We went there for ramen last night. The broth was very tasty, the meat wasn't quite to my taste. The service was very friendly.

We used to order from this place all the time (at least 1x week for over a year). The last two times the seaweed salad was rotten (terrible smell) and the avocado in the rolls tasted like it had also gone bad. We have them a second chance after the first time we got bad food, but now with two separate instances, and since the quality dropped pretty fast, I don’t think we will be ordering from this place in the future.

Bentokado is simply amazing! The combination of fresh ingredients, creative bowls and great taste totally convinced me. You can taste that a lot of love is put into the food here. The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is modern and cozy. Perfect for a healthy and delicious meal - I'll definitely be back!

We got TNT Tuna and Moccia latte. Great food and vibe. We loved this place.

We took the Salmon Lover set and a baked salmon roll. They didn’t really spare the fish, it was delicious. tea is served in small teapots and tiny glasses. in the toilet it was funny to see a sign in Russian. the waiter was polite. the food arrived quickly. for two with drinks it came out to 38 euros.

I love Japanese food. This one was extremely delicious, I loved the shushi platter (vegetarian). The crunchy roll was really good. Mango curry with tofu had real mango flavor 🥰. It was overall a good experience and ambiance were simple and elegant.

Amazing place! I’ve been here twice and always order sushi. There are plenty of menu options, the sushi is fresh, delicious, presented beautifully, with generous portions, and the prices are affordable! The place isn’t very big but it’s cozy. I love the relaxing atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Very recommended!

One of the best ramen in Berlin!

Bentokado is an amazing spot! I dined in the restaurant, and the experience was fantastic. Had the fried Udon noodle with duck. The food was super delicious, made with fresh and flavorful ingredients. The prices were fair, and the service was quick. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommended – I’ll definitely be back!

Our favorite restaurant!! And we try a lot! Always order 2 main courses (good price ratio!) and sushi. Everything was super good! Even have draft beer and matcha❤️ And always very nice staff!

Relatively simple, but very good fish and you can taste the difference from conventional sushi shops. Here the rice is properly prepared and the fish is fresh. Had Sake OI and Sake Makis. Price performance ratio 5/5

Four of us reserved a table. What was immediately noticeable was the great selection of music. The staff was very nice and the drinks tasted good. A second visit is therefore not ruled out.

The food was great, totally unexpectedly very tasty. It's definitely not your average Asian food you should try. Relatively nice atmosphere. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

We order the ramen from here quite regularly and it is spectacular, especially for a delivery ramen it still arrives perfectly prepared and very delicious! The restaurant itself is not bad, not too big which is also nice and the staff was friendly

Really good, fresh food at good prices. Good Sushi and tasty house dishes - kind of proudly "no frills" food, they use high quality ingredients and their own homemade sauces. Super friendly staff. Hughly recommended.

Very lovely food, and good atmosphere overall

Lemon soda was very nice, "vegetable schnitzel" was more like a breaded summer roll. The ramen was ok. The pork belly was good, the rest was rather medium. The music selection also still needs urgent work.

I found the pop music a bit inappropriate. I wasn't much of a fan of the songs selected either. Food was good, but didn't knock my socks off. But it was delicious. Probably wouldn't go again.

The employees were friendly, the food came quickly, and the store was nicely decorated. The food was tasty and the drinks were nicely presented. It was quite empty which made it feel a bit chilly and as far as I could tell there was no real outside area, just a few tables on the busy street. For me, overall, it's more of a place for a quick meal before a nearby sporting event or for lunch. For a business lunch or a birthday party I would rather choose another restaurant.

Wow, just a really good place to eat. The ambience is beautiful and the service is extremely nice! The frames were also good but the frames had a bit of a lack of flavor. However, the red curry was a dream for anyone who loves spicy food. The cocktails were wonderful! Super refreshing and very inexpensive. Definitely recommended.

Wow great atmosphere. Staff is open to feedback and attaches great importance to it. We ordered a bowl and drinks with a friend. With Neo Taste we were able to save a lot on site. The gin available on site is very good. With a note similar to rice, it goes perfectly with food. The music and ambience are pleasant and calm.

I was here around lunch time yesterday with my friend for the first time. The staff are very friendly!! And the food is delicious. I would recommend their miso soup<3 Will definitely come again when I am in Berlin.

Unfortunately I can't say anything about the food, but everything else looked very good. The mocktails are really good, the Korainder Mule was really tasty and something special and not just a soda with ice cream. It's worth it for that. Of course you're sitting right on Bernauer Straße, but you can live quite well with that here. The service was also super nice.

We just had dinner here. I order the Berlin bowl and it was very good and fresh. My boyfriend order the miso ramen soup with red meat, he said it was okey. For drinks I just had water and he order a mango juice that was clearly half water haft juice. We didn’t like that. But over all the food was good and the service was fast and good too.

The food was quite ok. But unfortunately the service was a bit inattentive when I was there.

It was great to eat here because it is really extremely tasty! What was the best for me personally was the kumquat iced tea. It tasted so good that I would love to come back just for that! I hope I actually will. Definitely highly recommended. The soup was also great and the service was perfect too.

Update (after a few visits): Very tasty ramen. Meat and soup are very good. Fast and friendly service. Lots of seating inside and outside. After the order took a little longer, I was served dessert on the house. Top!

Went for a late lunch so the place is quiet, I had the 34 Mekong bowl and my partner had the 27 peanut chicken curry. Amazing flavours! Friendly staff and great service.

I had higher expectations cause of the 4.7 review. We paid 60€+ and waited 15 minutes which is okay for the amount of sushi we ordered. But they all fell apart before we could even pick them up, they looked messy and the rice was mushy. I'm glad for the 700 people that had a good experience but for us it was not. The employees were kind and it wasn't as busy so the atmosphere was good but that doesn't change the quality of the sushi.

Perfect place for lunch while visiting the flea market. It has some tables outside, the food good and big portions.

After going to the Mauerpark market we came to this restaurant, they served us great, and the food was also delicious, we were lucky and the weather was good so we ate at a table outside, we ordered ramen, they brought us a very generous portion and quite quickly, restaurant Totally recommended, ahhh and good prices! Also important 😉

Japanese-style place where you can eat an authentic bento. We had one with chicken tenkatsu that was delicious, with rice, vegetables and another with salmon and more. All for €39 and with a bottle of water.

Nice personel. The lychee drink was refreshing. The sushi was okay. But we didn't like ramen at all. The broth and meat were too salty and tasted more like thịt kho gừng (Vietnamese braised pork with ginger often found with rice) rather than the Japanese version. Unfortunately the noodles were also too soft.

We took the Ramen, po soup and the cari The food was too salty You could feel that in the mouth lips and trought from the third bite We were really hungry so we ate all we could But we did share that with them and they saied that it's normal and maybe the carry is a bit salty We won't come back for sure. The tofu in the soup was really good.

Ordered the delivery, the sake roll had abysmal amount of avocado that overwhelmed the taste of everything, and the crab maki did not even use real crab, it uses crab sticks that taste like nothing, the unagi roll was good though

Delicious sushi and drinks too! We were there spontaneously and had a seat straight away on a Sunday evening. Staff is friendly. The restaurant is right on the street at Mauerpark - you have to find out for yourself whether that bothers you.

A place in a noisy street, next to a flea market. Fried maki arrives at the table, i.e. hot, and the breading is similar to de volaille, but not necessarily with a grilled insert. Mayo sauce for everything. It's not bad, I just don't know what exactly I ate because everything looked and tasted similar.

A super nice shop with really friendly staff! The food was very tasty. Only the wasabi could be spicier, but that's a matter of taste. Would definitely go again!

That's some damn good sushi, plus some creative, culturally inspired drinks. It costs a euro more, but you can taste it!
