Monday evening - the terrace was packed! So that's a good sign?! After just a few minutes, we got a table. Cards were quickly distributed, and our drink orders were taken. We ordered crispy duck and various sushi variations. Unfortunately, the sushi wasn't impressive. Given the wide variety on offer, we should have known that little of it could be homemade. The sushi tasted rather unfresh, like it came from a package. The duck was okay. However, all the dishes were presented rather carelessly. After we finished eating and cleared the table, there was no waiter at the table to ask for more drink orders.

The best sushi is made here! The staff are friendly, and the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere both inside and out. I highly recommend it!

The food was very good, as always. I ordered nigiri sushi 🍣. I got maki. The waitress was apparently betting on whether I'd notice. In any case, they laughed at me and kept looking over at me. The food is delicious, but the portions of the main course are so small that you don't feel full. Our family and friends said the same thing. The rice was really too small! They charge more for these prices! We and our friends won't be coming back anytime soon.

This was our first time here, having previously been to the Big Pan in Hermsdorf and Blankenfelde. We were really disappointed with the Big Pan in Tegel. The interior is far too cramped and lacks any ambiance. Unfortunately, the food was completely incomparable to the restaurants in Hermsdorf and Blankenfelde. First of all, the portions were much smaller. I had the same dish as in Blankenfelde – crispy duck with vegetables, rice, and peanut sauce. The duck was wobbly, and the only vegetables were a bit of broccoli and small strips of bell pepper. The sauce was what filled the plate. We won't be coming back.

Individuals had to sit inside because "if a large group of four people arrives later, it's a bit difficult." It was early evening, and there were still plenty of free tables outside (about 10 tables, only the first row outside was occupied), and reservation signs were only on about two tables. It's probably great for "large groups." I left without eating. It was really unfriendly.

We've been to so many Asian restaurants, but this place has really good food 🥘👍, friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere, highly recommended. We would love to come back. The lemonades are delicious.

Great Asian restaurant. The predominantly Vietnamese dishes with a variety of ingredients and sauces, as well as the sushi, were fantastic. The service was also very friendly and attentive. You can spend a pleasant evening on this quiet side street.

👎 This really has nothing to do with Vietnamese food. Everything is bland and unseasoned, no herbs at all, and the cheapest duck breast. Maybe okay for people who have no other needs than to be full. Even when we asked, they weren't able to bring us some lime dressing or another sauce to spice things up. Apparently, fish sauce is the only thing they have in the kitchen. I advise the chef, wherever he's from, to try eating in Vietnam.

I've been there several times, and it's always great. The Hanoi rolls are fantastic. The small wonton soup is also great in winter. The sushi isn't anything earth-shattering, but it's still good. And the duck noodles are always a hit anyway.

Pleasant outdoor seating in the summer, although a bit too noisy right next to a circular path with cobblestones, it was still quite nice. Unfortunately, my dark sauce was a bit too watery.

The order took two hours to arrive and was, of course, ice cold! Last time I ordered there, the food was consistently poor quality. The phone was switched off at the restaurant, so there was no way to contact them.

Absolutely excellent quality, every component seems carefully selected. Not fake wasabi, but real! Organic salmon is absolutely amazing, but the “normal chicken” is also amazing, juicy and tender.

A great place to stay, very friendly staff. Food was top and we left more than full and satisfied for the prices.

A table was reserved for the birthday dinner and when we were all there, the staff said there were no reservations and no seats.

I always enjoyed going there and ordering food to go after work. However, the portions have become smaller each time. I don't eat large portions, but at Big Pan you hardly get full anymore. They try filling it with put up salad. You can no longer pay by card and the Pho is also brewed in the “vegetarian” version based on chicken.

It wasn't my first time there and I felt comfortable. The interior design is carefully chosen and the food looks good and is very tasty.

The ambience of a train station hall, so loud that you can't understand your own words. The food was terrible; Pasta box slapped onto a plate and topped with old lettuce. Ordered a bottle of seltzer and got a glass of tap water. My wife had ordered crispy fried duck with vegetables, she received a salad plate with pieces of meat floating in the salad (crisp fried), a third of which were not edible or edible. A clear rip-off and probably money laundering. Totally overpriced and the food is not worth the money. If health department employees had eaten there, the restaurant would have been closed immediately due to serious hygienic deficiencies in the kitchen.

My visit to Big Pan Berlin was an absolute disaster and definitely the worst thing I've experienced in a long time. The tamago was an insult to every palate - tasteless, chewy and apparently made without any fresh ingredients. It had the consistency of old sponge and tasted like it was days old. Not only was the chicken frozen, but it was bland and dry, as if it had been thrown straight from the freezer onto the plate without any effort or seasoning. You could literally taste how old and loveless it was. And the prices – that is the absolute height of audacity. To demand so much money for this miserable quality and disgusting food is simply outrageous. The entire experience was a first class rip off. The taste was reminiscent of what you'd expect at a low-quality subway station Asian takeaway, but even there I probably would have been better served. Paying so much money for such a bad meal borders on fraud. Never again!

I was really looking forward to my visit to the "Big Pan", but unfortunately I was disappointed. Unfortunately, the Tamago I tried first wasn't what I expected. It was dry and almost certainly not homemade and for such a high price, which made me skeptical for the rest of the evening. What particularly bothered me was the fact that the sauce and vegetable garnish in my main course were exactly the same as in the salad I had as a starter. Given the high prices, I would definitely have expected more variety and creativity. Overall, the meal just wasn't worth the money. I hope that the "Big Pan" will work on these points in the future, because unfortunately it was a disappointment for me.

I absolutely can't complain, everything was more than fantastic! Super fresh, delicious food. So professionally done. And the prices are very reasonable. The ambience is also just very nice.

Food very good, coffee okay, maybe you shouldn't order here. Service is nice but can be expanded in terms of listening and implementing. Side dish/rice definitely not enough and too expensive when reordered. Nevertheless, I would like to go there again, I think something like that can definitely be changed.

The atmosphere and surroundings were very nice. The food also looked very good The service left us standing for a long time and when we wanted to pay we had to wait a long time. We ordered two main courses, a lemonade and Fanta and this alone, with very smaller portions, cost €42.20.

Big Pan in Tegel is and remains my absolute favorite restaurant! The sushi is some of the best I've eaten. Great atmosphere! Food great! Could eat here every week. My absolute favourite!

The food was really delicious. Price/performance ratio is good. It was a shame that you couldn't exchange anything within a sushi menu, even if it was the same price (exchange maki salmon with maki salmon skin) The area outside is really beautiful. The service is friendly.

The food has deteriorated a lot. The quality of the sushi is not very good, and the portions are quite small, and it feels like all of the starters came from the freezer and are not freshly prepared... it's a real shame, I'm such a big fan of Asian food and the atmosphere of the restaurant is just nice in Tegel, but the Vietnamese dishes make up for it a bit… Staff was okay, did the bare minimum.

Once again we met friends in this restaurant. We noticed (also the last time) that the quality and attention of the service has decreased. Unfortunately, every second crispy chicken breast was "rubbery". It didn't taste good. It's a shame about this beautiful restaurant.

Very cozy environment very close to the Herz Jesu Church in Tegel. The food was very tasty and a generous portion. It was the second time there with my daughter and we would love to come back. Nice ambience and very tasty food, even sushi lovers will get their money's worth, a very large selection! Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates Asian cuisine. 👌👌

Delicious food at moderate prices

We picked up seasonal vegetables, a house specialty. It didn't taste like anything, super disgusting. Unfortunately, tempura sushi arrived super dry. Ambience and service were good.

For me the best Thai for Reinickendorf. Always fresh and delicious. Always friendly service, quick service. The starters are large, the main courses are always very appetizing and of very good quality. The drinks are legendary, especially the Big Pan Rose.

We were there in a larger group. Nevertheless, all dishes came to the table at approximately the same time. I also had the impression that the waiting time was okay. The food was tasty and a decent portion. The location right on a square in the middle of the neighborhood was also very pleasant. I would definitely go there again.

Friendly, food ok with a bit too much salad and apparently partially warmed up instead of fresh. Very nice atmosphere. Unfortunately, the drink prices are high: 0.2l water €3.20, Selfmade Lemonade €7.50, Mango Lassi €6.50. “No card payments today.”

We always walked past the shop and thought we had to go there. So we ate here and it was a huge disappointment. The food tastes like nothing (adapted to the German palate) and is soaked in fat and now comes the kicker. The baked chicken is frozen chicken fingers. You can taste it and see it straight away - disaster! If I want to eat TK chicken fingers from the metro, I go to the metro and not to the Vietnamese restaurant that costs a lot of money. Never again.

We had sushi as a starter and a rice dish and a noodle dish as a main course. The sushi was average, unfortunately the two main courses were completely disappointing. This has nothing to do with the dishes printed on the menu. Unfortunately, dry rice with ready-made fried chicken, a little sweet and sour sauce from the bottle, fried onions from the can and dry salad is absolutely not justified for the price. The only plus point was the friendly service.

Actually, we were originally really happy with this restaurant. But now the service and also the food are declining a lot. There are various dishes on the menu that have different names but are one and the same. Lemongrass was specified but not included in the meal. The meat was tough. Taste bland. Even dishes that used to taste good are now flat in taste. The interior is still pleasing. Unfortunately the service is not courteous.

We live around the corner and this restaurant is our first choice and favorite restaurant. Delicious food, good service and nice atmosphere.

The ambience of the Big Pan is really great, a lot of effort has been put into it with attention to detail. Just really beautiful and inviting. The food was also really good and came quite quickly. The staff was quite nice, even though we sat there for a bit long at the beginning, but it was also really full. The menu really has something for everyone who likes Asian food. The baked wontons were incredibly tasty, and my slightly spicy avocado sauce with rice, vegetables and breaded salmon was also really great. Not to forget my Sake Makis :-)

The people are nice, the food was good, the home-made lemonade too, but at a hefty price of 7.50 it was quite expensive for a glass of lemonade.
