Very nice inn with excellent food and a great selection of drinks. The service was friendly and quick and even apologized that it took longer, although I think half an hour of waiting for good food is completely fine. We thought it was great and would love to come back.

We went to dinner at the Brodhaus, sat down in a cozy barrel, the ambience was great. The food was great, really delicious from the presentation to the taste. The burgers and schnitzels were spicy and juicy and the portions were completely sufficient for our hunger. We also did a small beer tasting with various Einbecker beers, which was refreshing and interesting. The service was nice, relaxed and funny and the food and drinks came quickly. We thought it was great at the Brodhaus and would go there again at any time.

We were warmly welcomed and immediately shown to our table. The menu and daily menu were handed to us immediately. Our drink order was taken quickly and served quickly. The portions were not only generous, but also tasted excellent - a real treat. The ambience is particularly noteworthy: it was very appealing, friendly and created a pleasant atmosphere. Overall, an all-round successful visit that we would happily recommend.

The ambience was very nice. In the middle of the market square. Food was very tasty. Service can be expanded. After asking three times, the side salad and napkins arrived. Unfortunately the second drink was no longer served 😔.

Today we were guests with a group of 8 people. The map reads great and is also very inviting. Overall, however, you have to say that the kitchen has completely failed. I don't want to comment on the allegations because the service staff of two very friendly ladies apologized several times (for the cooks' failure). It was downright unpleasant for them. One of them (who always entertained us) gave everything to somehow get out of this bad situation and live up to the reputation of the house. Mind you, the service couldn't help it! In the end we got a round on the house, which not everyone in our group took advantage of. We didn't want to get anything for free, we just wanted to honestly criticize the food and the process. However, one meal was taken off my bill which we ate more or less with a total of 3 people. And now comes the reason why I'm writing this! A person in the kitchen (I assume it was one of the untalented chefs) noticed this and IMMEDIATELY called the lady in for a conversation. And in such a way that we guests noticed it. It didn't sound like anything good. The gentleman didn't look happy either. Dear Brodhaus and operator; You are lucky to have such a fantastic employee in times like these. She rocked the whole store and still put a smile on our faces at the end of the day. It is an impudence on the part of the person who looked at the employee so angrily and called her in for an interview. And all of this in front of the guests. As if the kitchen hadn't messed up enough! I would be very ashamed if I were him! We were very outraged. Feel free to ask the lady what happened. Otherwise, I will happily list it here, just as the chef did (in front of the public). It had nothing to do with cooking. Many thanks to the employee! If there are any difficulties with the so-called “snack plate”, I would be happy to transfer the missing amount later. But here you should praise the service and reprimand the chefs. 0 stars for the food! Oh and by the way: As myself As a private and event chef, I can judge this very well!

The food was exceptionally good.

Acquired the beer diploma in the Brodhaus with a cycling group after a city tour.😉Afterwards enjoyed a great meal at relatively reasonable prices. Service extremely charming and courteous. He had all the fun and found the right answer for everyone 😚 If you're in the old town of Einbeck, you can't go past the Brodhaus... Please reserve in advance.

If it were up to the wine they serve there, I would give it just one star. The last and cheapest booze, near Tetrapack. But since we were looked after so warmly and authentically throughout the evening and also had delicious food, it is of course 5 stars. The restaurant is absolutely recommended.

We set off yesterday with a 1 hour drive. We made reservations online. The service person was super nice and attentive and gave us great recommendations from the daily menu. I decided on the beer tasting and ate goulash soup as a starter, which was amazing, delicious, fresh and super hot. I felt like we were in Grandma's old kitchen. Mega good. For the main course I had the Brothaus Schnitzel with bacon and cheese gratinated, which was super super good. For dessert there was Kaiserschmarrn with ice cream and applesauce. All in all I can only say we will be back. Our seat was in an old barrel. I can only recommend it and will definitely come back with my family.

The food was ok, a lot of schnitzel on offer,but then again, to be expected. Enormous selection of Einbecker beer. The place was very quiet, hence the lower rating, but would try again at the weekend.

We had an extensive dinner here as part of our visit to Einbeck. A lot has changed here since our last visit a few years ago. And in a positive way. It appears there has been a change of operator/ownership. We were greeted very friendly and shown to the table (reserved in advance by telephone). The waiter pointed us to the “Einbecker Beer Tasting”, an opportunity to taste the various beer specialties of the Einbecker Brauhaus in direct comparison. Nice thing! We were able to choose our “favorite” for the rest of the evening. There should be something for everyone on the menu. We decided on the Einbecker mustard soup in advance and the Alsatian schnitzel with fried potatoes and the Brodhausschnitzel with fried potatoes. There was nothing wrong with the food and the fried potatoes were just the way we like them. Crispy but not burnt and not a “fatty sponge”. Also delicious: the Kaiserschmarrn. The only negative point: The view of our table from the counter was blocked by a frosted glass pane and as the evening progressed (the Brodhaus was now very busy) it became difficult to contact the employees, which sometimes led to delays in further order requests. Conclusion: The Brodhaus will also be visited on our next visit to Einbeck, but we will ask for a table that is not “remote”.

Very tasty food! We had the Championrahm and the Einbeck-Schitzel... Both highly recommended. 😋 To drink there was a beer tasting and an Ainböcker Pilsner 🍻 The atmosphere is great - we sat in an old beer barrel - very comfortable! 👍 The service was very friendly and accommodating; It doesn't get any better Thank you!

Culinary attack!!! First I would like to thank the ladies in service and express my appreciation to them for working so professionally in a fully occupied restaurant. However, I can't find any words for the kitchen. I'm just stunned. This was by far the lowest point in my culinary life. Saturday evening, we were happy to get a spot. We chose the pepper steak and the pork medallions (both medium rare). What happened next I can't describe other than horrific. The "thing" was so tough that the bites I cut off became smaller and smaller and I still had to chew on it 8-10 times. There was still the side dish, I thought, and was shocked! The chef also did something surprising here. Beans cooked absolutely salt-free. O. K. Very healthy but difficult to add salt without a shaker on the table. The fried potatoes are a matter of taste. I prefer them a little crispier with roasted aromas, but here too the chef only had health in mind. Pepper sauce was very sour, tasted as if the cook had poured the fresh pickled pepper from the jar and the liquid into the sauce. I would like to mention at this point that I have never returned a dish in my life. Not even in the dirtiest food stall in India or anywhere else in the world. It was the attentive waitress who noticed my chewing ordeal and, after a lengthy discussion, persuaded us to return the food. Same with my son, how you can get pork medallions so tough is a mystery to me. The situation was similar with the side dishes. I would like to emphasize that I was terribly embarrassed about letting something go back. I'm not a complainer at all and I'm not squeamish. According to the motto, what is put on the table is eaten. Okay and now comes food number 2. Now I'm assuming treachery, even though we don't know the chef and have never met him! The food was just as scary as our first portions. What to do? It was like at Loriot, the very, very nice ladies from the service kept asking if it tasted good. And we lied until the beams bend. The meat in particular was horrible. We tortured ourselves halfway in and just wanted to get out. Imagine if we had objected to round two too. People might have thought we were sophisticated carousers. So with the excuse that we had already eaten something from plate one and were no longer hungry, we paid quickly and got out. They just looked at us outside and said that doesn't exist! What have we done to the man? We don't even know him. Terrible. Never again! In keeping with the location, a large selection of Einbecker beer specialties, excellent food - "German" classics in fine preparation - from a clear (not overloaded) menu at moderate prices, a relaxed atmosphere, warm and honest service. The old walls are furnished in a rustic, cozy chic style and give the restaurant a very special ambience. Highly Recommended!!

Unfortunately, the negative trend has continued. After we spent our Christmas party there I was shocked! Eating at the table only after almost 2 hours, then not at the same time so that the first person was already finished before the last one had his meal. Food was frozen goods. Just the sauce homemade. Partly still or already cold again. There was no dessert either because after the long wait for the food the kitchen was already closed. But the great thing was that in the oldest restaurant in Lower Saxony, owner Einbecker Brauhaus AG, on a Friday evening in December, where six Christmas parties were taking place, they told us at 7 p.m. that they had run out of draft beer and that there would be no more new drafts because of the "late" time would connect. Last Saturday, food was served at lunchtime which defies description. 21 € for a frozen schnitzel with 3 croquettes and a bit of mustard sauce. The last time I was in the Brodhaus for a long time. Basically the headquarters of the Einbeck brewery. This was warmed up, which is OK for a kettle goulash. A little more pizzazz wouldn't have hurt the dish. Service very friendly. The building is one of the oldest inns in Germany. Constantly renovated inside and out with a lot of money.

Very nice atmosphere. Very nice staff. The taste of the food was great. The only thing that wasn't so nice was that the food took over an hour until we got it.

It is necessary to book a table in advance on Saturday. Restaurant is busy during meal times. Staff is friendly and quick. Last time we visited, the meal took a good hour. If you order too many orders, you notice that things don't rotate quite as well in the kitchen. For example, fried potatoes were a bit burnt and there wasn't enough for everyone ordered, so they had to be added later. By then most of them had already eaten their main course. Otherwise the food was tasty and good.

Absolutely great, the dishes are freshly prepared and taste great, you can also order a beer sample, then different beers are served in small glasses on a wooden board! Very friendly staff and the prices are ok too! Advance reservation is recommended as the restaurant is very popular!

Wir waren gestern mit einer großen Gruppe vor Ort. Sehr schönes Ambiente, freundlicher Service und leckeres Essen.

Ich bin früher so gerne bei Euch Essen gegangen - aber so unhöflich und unprofessionell, wie wir gestern abgewiegelt worden sind weil wir keine Reservierung hatten - das ist mir wirklich noch nie passiert. 60 % der Gaststube war leer ... Ich weiß, daß alle Probleme haben gutes Personal zu finden - aber so negativ und entnervt auf Gäste zu reagieren ist in höchstem Maß unangemessen. Wir kommen bestimmt nicht mehr wieder ...

Ich hatte sicherheitshalber den Tisch vorbestellt. Bier und Essen waren schmackhaft. Der Service sehr aufmerksam. Das Ambiente in vorderen Gastraum vielleicht ein Tick zu zeitgemäß. Vielleicht hätte ich mir hinten ein Platz im Fass wünschen sollen?

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und zu unserem Tisch begleitet. Wir bekamen die Speisenkarte und die Tageskarte gereicht. Die Getränke Bestellung wurde aufgenommen und zügig an unseren Tisch gebracht. Ich hatte mir von der Tageskarte das Kesselgoulasch mit Spätzle ausgesucht. Die Portion war reichlich und im Geschmack sehr gut. Auch das Ambiente war sehr ansprechend und freundlich. Von mir gibt es Fünf Sterne 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

Sonntag Abend ohne reservieren einen Tisch bekommen. Die Ente von der Tageskarte war wirklich hervorragend! Freundliche Bedienung und ein sehr gutes Bier gab es außerdem. Beim nächsten Besuch im PS Speicher werden wir wiederkommen!

Wir haben hier zur Zeit des Weihnachtsmarktes gegessen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir hatten einen 8er Tisch in einem großen Fass. Das war sehr gemütlich. ALLE waren von den leckeren Gerichten begeistert. Ich hatte eine halbe Ente. Es war die leckerste Ente die ich je aß. Die Haut war richtig schön knusprig und das Fleisch herrlich zart. Der Rotkohl war gut gewürzt und auf den Punkt gegart. Einfach rundum ein Genuss. Der Preis passte auch noch.

Wir hatten online einen Tisch reserviert. Bei unserer Ankunft lag unsere Reservierung nicht vor, dies passiert anscheinend öfter. Für das nette Servicepersonal war dies aber kein Problem, ruckzuck wurde geschaut, das wir ein schönes Plätzchen bekamen. Das Essen schmeckte vorzüglich. Die Senfsuppe ist eine unbedingte Empfehlung!!! Und auch die bestellten Hauptgericht trafen unseren Geschmack. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis vollkommen in Ordnung!

Wunderschönes Ambiente, Essen sehr schmackhaft, Preise der heutigen Zeit angepasst, wir kommen wieder uns hat es sehr gut gefallen, die Bedienung ist aufmerksam und mit Freude dabei. Es gibt nicht mehr viele Gaststätten die daß so harmonisch vereinen, das Ambiente mit ihrer Tradition, Essen und Getränke. Wir haben uns sehr wohl im Bordhaus gefühlt.

Günstiger Mittagstisch bis 15 Uhr: Mein Champignon-Rahmschnitzel war lecker, mit Bratkartoffeln und Salatbeilage völlig zufriedenstellend; Bedienung freundlich, Ambiente mit den offenen Fässern im hinteren Bereich gemütlich.

Ein echtes Gasthaus: Gute, grundsolide Küche, hier findet jede und jeder etwas und die Qualität ist im besten Sinne ordentlich! Fans vom Schweineschnitzel kommen hier immer zum Zuge, ansonsten wird die Karte auch saisonal angepasst. Der Service war bisher immer sehr freundlich und schnell. Hierher kommt man, um bei einem guten Bier angenehm satt zu werden und sich mit Freunden zu unterhalten. Daher ist es gerne abends auch einmal etwas lebendiger (und gut belegt - reservieren empfiehlt sich!).

Solides deutsches Resturant! Findet man nicht mehr so oft.

Wir waren zum Abschluss unseres Betriebsausfluges im Brodhaus. Es war einfach perfekt. Nach einer Bierverkostung gab es noch eine leckere Brotzeit! Absolut zu empfehlen. Super nettes Personal! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall nochmal wieder.

Essen war bei mir OK, aber viele fanden keinen richtigen Geschmack, der Salat war auch gewöhnungsbedürftig

Super urige Gaststätte mit sehr freundlicher Bedienung. Trotzdem wir nicht vorbestellt hatten war es möglich im Bierfass zu sitzen. Essen war sehr gut in super Ambiente. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Ein gemütliches Gasthaus, mit eher Hausfrauen Essen, aber sehr schmackhaft. Nette, kundenzugewante Servicepersonal. Gute Lage, auf dem schönem Einbecker Marktplatz, mit den sehenswerten Fachwerkhäusern.

Angezogen von einer interessanten und verführerischen Speisekarte vor der Lokalität sollten wir später, nach Abschluss unseres Besuchs gut gesättigt, freundlich umsorgt und glücklich mit unserer Restaurantwahl, die weite Heimreise antreten. Die Vorspeisen waren durchweg einfach köstlich und der Ideale Start für unserer Übergang zum jeweiligen Hauptgericht. Leber mit Stampfkartoffeln schmeckte einfach wie von meiner lieben Mutter zubereitet, da kamen längst vergessene Kindheitserinnerungen hoch. Vielen Dank für die wirklich freundliche Bedienung und Verköstigung zu absolut fairen Preisen. PS. Tolles Ambiente, erwartet man so vor dem Betreten nicht. Klasse, wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Solides Wirtshausessen, bodenständiger, freundlicher Service, Preis-Leistungsverhältnis absolut in Ordnung.

War sehr gutes Essen und die Angestellten waren sehr nett. Es war sehr gut besucht, deshalb musste man auf die weiteren Bestellung länger warten.

Die älteste Gaststätte Einbecks mit einer hervorragenden Speisekarte. Unbedingt probieren sollte man die selbstgemachten Hamburger, aber auch die anderen Speisen schmecken vorzüglich

Sehr leckere Burger, tolle Lage am Marktplatz, nettes Personal. Leider hat es etwas gedauert, bis das Essen gebracht wurde, lag aber vermutlich an der Küche. Die Bestellung und auch die Getränke gingen super schnell.

apropos Service → Selbstbesorgung: - Tisch abwischen - Servietten - Salz & Pfeffer Leistung: - "Wildkräutersalat mit gebratenen Pfifferlingen", letztere abzählbar - "Gausbrot mit Aufstrichen nach Art des Hauses" = 3 Scheiben trocken Brot mit 3 winzigen Miniklecksen Grieben, Quark und Frischkäse Trinkgeld: Die Bedienung fragt, ob sie der Kartenzahlung ein Trinkgeld hinzu addieren dürfe: Nach Bejahung, aber ohne Rückfrage, erfolgte eine Belastung von satten 10%, eher unangemessen.... Na ja, es hätten ja auch einige 100 € verschwinden können. Ansonsten hatten wir einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in Einbeck.
