Great beer garden. However, on Sundays you have to be lucky to find a place. Reservations are also made in the beer garden. Actually atypical. For the restaurant (different menu) yes OK, but in the beer garden the seats should be free, without reservation. The food was top and the service was nice and quick. Always worth a visit.

Cozy vault, tasty food. Good vegetarian offerings. Not exactly cheap. Weaknesses in the drinks: Only a white wine, no Riesling

My birthday party on Carnival Saturday 2024 was just great! The Bredershof cowshed is a fantastic and cozy location for smaller groups. The service, although the staff always had to go across the yard, was very good. Very friendly and helpful staff, so there was nothing to complain about. Kudos for that. There is also nothing to complain about the kitchen. As always, very tasty and delicious, and the waiting time between courses was simply well coordinated. My best thanks to everyone who was on duty that evening and of course also to Mr. Dix. We would love to come back!

We were in the beer garden on Sunday. There will probably also be a separate menu here. Unfortunately, the neck steak was not edible (there was a tiramisu as compensation for that), the Wiener Schnitzel in a manageable version with a few fries without a side salad (we then ordered extra) is "good for a small hunger". The Leberkäse is the best choice. Unfortunately only 3 stars.

The beer garden is beautifully located and offers many seats. Unfortunately, you can't order from the "large" menu at all places. The garden menu was ok at first glance, but the quality of the food was unfortunately not very high. The burger was dry and loveless and the redfish fillet was also fried to death and very dry, no lemon or sauce. Too bad.

Discovered today, HAMMER!!! Rita has long been one of the best and most personable restaurant EXPERTS that I have had the pleasure of enjoying in a long time.

After a long search, we found our wedding location here in the vaulted cellar of the Bredershof. I can say that we are completely thrilled!!! The unique ambience of the vaulted cellar, equipped with a bar, DJ booth with high-quality sound system, really pleased all of our guests and would have easily accommodated 30 to 40 guests more than our 50. We were able to decorate as we wished, were allowed to add lights and flowers and so on. Thanks to the additional, beautiful small beer garden, which is directly connected to the vaulted cellar, we were able to enjoy the sun, spend the afternoon there without disturbing other guests or being disturbed ourselves, and simply switch back and forth between the vault and the beer garden. The owner lovingly put together a menu/buffet for us in advance and tasted the accompanying wines with us. He was always available for us and made it really easy for us to organize our event. Our guests worked their way through the buffet recommended by Mr. Dix like a swarm of termites through a dead tree; there was endless praise and enthusiasm. The service was an absolute blast. The ladies and gentlemen who accompanied us through this special day were more than just outstanding. Unobtrusive, but always there, super fast and really great without that obsessive “I really like doing that” mentality. As if friends brought you a glass of wine and patted you on the shoulder, stopped for a moment and exchanged a few nice words with you. Chapeau to Mr. Dix and his sensational team!! THAT... was really great cinema!!!

Atmosphere: Great. Food: Not great. Ordered Duck breast in orange sauce with potato gratin and vegetables. Duck was a little overcooked, cut into thick slabs and very chewy. It was also very poorly seasoned and this was the same for the vegetables - they tasted very bland as there was no dressing, or butter, or anything for that matter. The orange sauce was sweet but lacking in flavour. It desperately needed some orange zest and a few drops of lemon juice. The potato gratin was truly awful, the top layers dried out to be almost inedible, and the potatoes below tasted and had a texture like they had been reheated after being cooked a long long time ago. If you have ever tried eating french fries (Pommes) the day after you will know what I mean. Desert was a Chocolate tart with ice cream and berries. The tart was one of those shop bought microwaved molten in middle affairs and the berries consisted of one raspberry and a few grapes that had been sliced in half. Grapes are a poor choice to counteract the heaviness of chocolate as they are just not sharp enough. Chef needs to buy a packet of raspberry coulis next time they are in Metro picking up the choc tarts. The desert came across as just assembled rather than 'gastronomically created'. Looked pretty on the plate though. Was a pleasant evening but the food was a let down. Service was pleasant if a bit slow. Note: My review is based on my one visit, so take that into account. If I go again, I'll update my experience here.

It took a while for the menus to arrive and for us to place our orders, but after that the service was both friendly and good. Cozy outside and inside and drinks and food were good value for money.

The Bredershof goes back to a free farm from the 17th century, which belonged to the Junkers of the von Breder family, and is assigned to the Franconian farm type. Breder or Bredder is a name that was first mentioned in documents in the 16th century. The Bredershof was one of the six free courts that sent a jury to the so-called Markgedinge of the Niederdollendorf parish.

We celebrated our wedding there and the preparations as well as the wedding day itself went smoothly. Very hospitable and attentive service! Modern, good food selection at fair prices! The atmosphere is cozy, rustic and warm. We had a lot of fun and we would like to thank the entire Bredershof team for a wonderful day!

Get places in groups of ten and without warning. The food was very good for everyone and the portions were sufficient. Unfortunately the children had fried potatoes instead of fries with their schnitzel. Schnitzel, fried potatoes, sirloin, baked potato and the salad were very good. The salad with the turkey strips was with curry, unexpected and not quite optimal. Slightly higher price level. Large parking lot. We'd love to come back again.

Unser Hochzeitsessen an zwei schön gedeckten Tischen im Garten des Restaurants war einfach toll. Being a guest here is a must. A great team that looks after the guests with fun and enthusiasm. The food is very good. The only drawback is that aioli and herb cream are served with free white bread in the restaurant, but unfortunately only for an additional charge in the beer garden. A great recommendation from the service. The apricot and raspberry brandy, very tasty and absolutely recommended. Many thanks to the entire team.

Top address for eating, having a drink with friends, for family or company celebrations. Basically ideal for any occasion that revolves around eating and drinking. The service is excellent, the head of the house is a true Padron, and the wine selection is very good. The terrace invites you to linger, and the daily menu always has great recommendations! I have often been here privately, for business purposes, for private celebrations and also for business events. Always with the same result. No wish was left unfulfilled!

Although there was a long waiting time for the courses due to the situation, the quality of service and cuisine was still very good.

We got married a few days ago in a private wedding ceremony in Bredershof. It was a wonderful day. The waitresses were super friendly and accommodating and no guest laundry was left open. Although we were in three different areas during the day, no one noticed the busy activity of the employees. The buffet was delicious and served perfectly cooked. There was something for every guest, whether it was a starter, main course or dessert. We had two waitresses throughout the evening who were only responsible for us. The preparations could easily start the day before, so it was much more relaxed on the morning of the wedding. Both the buffet and the location were perfectly priced. It was a great price for the quality of food and hospitality. We all had a wonderful and tasty day and I can only recommend that everyone consider hosting their own wedding or other celebration here. It was a really successful wedding for us and we would love to come back.

I celebrated my 60th birthday there with almost 30 people. Everyone was really excited about the restaurant (the location), the ambience, the excellent cuisine and the very good service. Even I was surprised, although I already knew the Bredershof from a few visits. The Bredershof is highly recommended for all types of celebrations. It is aimed at "bourgeois" clientele, completely traditional without any modern frills. And the younger guests also appreciated that.

Freitags gehen wir regelmäßig zum Abendessen aus. Dieses Mal sind wir im Bredershof gelandet, nachdem wir vorher einen Tisch reserviert hatten. Ein schönes Anwesen mit großem Aussenbereich und gemütlichen Ambiente. Wir bestellten 2 Aperitif und zum Essen je 2 Riesling. Zum Essen jeder die Medaillons im Speckmantel mit Champignon Rahmsauce Kartoffelgratin und Gemüse zu je 24 €. Was da serviert wurde, war vom Geschmack her Ok, aber absolute Kinderportionen. 3 kleine Medaillons mit Bacon umwickelt + 3 Esslöffel dünne Sauce, und je 2 Esslöffel Gratin und angebratenes Gemüse. Ich bestelle für mich einen Beilagensalat ( der war ohne Dressing mit einer geradezu widerlichen Zuckersauce) für stolze 6,50 €. Als Nachtisch, weil ob der Kinderportionen noch nicht satt, einen Käse Scheiterhaufen mit Weintrauben, Nüssen und Salzstangen für rund 10 € und richtig Lecker. Die Gesamtzeche betrug für das Ganze: 105 €. Ich hab 110 € Ich ließ mich einen Bewirtungsbeleg ausstellen und musste leider feststellen, dass 5€ Trinkgeld offensichtlich zu wenig waren, denn man hatte mir noch eine Flasche Gerolsteiner Sprudel für 6,50 € mit berechnet, die ich weder bestellt noch bekommen habe. Nachdem ich das Reklamiert habe, klatschte mir die Kellnerin, 6,50 € kommentarlos auf den Tisch. Kein Wort der Entschuldigung und bei einer Zeche von über 100 €, noch nicht mal einen Kaffee, oder Williams aufs Haus, was ich bisher auch noch nicht erlebt habe. Ein Auf Wiedersehen zum Abschied, ist wohl ebenfalls aus der Mode. Ich bin ja auch ein Rüpel, weil ich die eigenmächtige Trinkgeld Erhöhung reklamiert habe. Wir werden diesen Fresstempel zukünftig meiden.

The very friendly and courteous service staff is positive, even if we had to ask them to clean the dirty table before the food came. Maybe the chef had a bad day yesterday, but there were four of us and unfortunately we had to return almost all of the food. Fries were only half cooked. Lettuce was wilted, collapsed and was more like room temperature, which was rather unfavorable when the outside temperature was 25 degrees. The same thing happened to us with the herb quark with the baked potatoes, which was lukewarm. Unfortunately, the request to avoid onions (due to allergies) was not responded to. It was nice that the boss came personally at the end to apologize and offer us a coffee on the house, but since we had to leave the restaurant hungry again, we thought it would have been appropriate for at least the drinks to be on the house. It's a shame... the rehearsal dinner to host our company party there unfortunately failed.

We were at the Bredershof on December 21st, 2023 with a small “gentlemen’s group”. The food was very tasty, the drinks were cold, the service was very accommodating and friendly. More is not possible! We'll definitely be back.

Meine Mutter hat gestern ihren 80. Geburtstag im Kreise von 14 Mädels über 80 gefeiert. Es war rundum ein tolles Fest. Sie waren ALLE begeistert. Toller Service, sehr nette zuvorkommende Bedienung, leckeres Essen und ein sehr sehr schönes Ambiente. Absolute Empfehlung -auch für eine Rollator Party. 🎉 Danke nochmal an das ganze Team

We were there for lunch today with a large group. Various cold and warm antipasti were served as starters. Very fresh fish, beautifully prepared and matching wine. We also ate pork medallions and fish. Nice and fresh sauces and the side dishes were all very tasty. For dessert we enjoyed a combination of tiramisu, ice cream and chocolate cream. The service was quick, very nice, and the very friendly host showed up several times. The ambience is also really great. There is also a beautiful outdoor terrace. The journey was worth it, I can only recommend it!

Great ambience in the old winery, with a beautiful beer garden in the enclosed courtyard. Home-style menu without any fancy, but with a lot of taste. Extensive international wines and Veltins and Gaffel on tap. Attentive, knowledgeable and very friendly service. We'd love to come back in summer at the latest.

Wir hatten ein Wiener Schnitzel mit Beilagensalat und Pommes. Das Schnitzel war sehr gut, aber wir hätten uns Preiselbeeren dazu gewünscht (hatte die Küche keine da). Die Pommes waren in Ordnung, der Salat sehr gut. Der Service war hervorragend.

Finally Rhenish Sauerbraten again! A wonderful place with the right food. Great wine selection and attentive, friendly service. We will be back!

Wir haben im Juli unsere Hochzeit im Bredershof ( Rebenhof und Gewölbekeller) gefeiert und waren einfach nur begeistert. Die Organisation mit Herrn Dix und seinem gesamten Team verlief reibungslos und unkompliziert. Das Essen war hervorragend und das Serviceteam hat uns bis spät in die Nacht super versorgt. Danke schön für diesen unvergesslichen Tag

Wir hatten 2 Nudelgerichte und 2 mal die Gans. Die Nudelgerichte waren nicht abgeschmeckt, die Pilze waren wabbelig. Die Gans war leider sehr zäh. Rotkohl und Klöße waren sehr gut.

Das Ambiente ist spitze. Der Service aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Essen war OK.

Wir waren am Mittwoch 16 Personen erstmals om Bredershof und rundum sehr angetan. Besonders unsere Bedienung Rita war eine ausgesprochen zuvorkommende und serviorientiere Bereicherung des Abends. Wir kommen sicherstellen wieder.

Ich komme selten aber gerne her. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam! Die Küche ist stets gut. Ich glaube hier kann man nicht schlecht essen. Super Auswahl an Weinen, auch lokales dabei. Das Ambiente ist leicht feiner, aber nicht überheblich. Die Preise sind im Verhältnis zur Qualität vollkommen in Ordnung. Positiv ist auch anzumerken, dass die Preise seit Jahren nicht gestiegen sind, so wie bei vielen anderen Restaurants. Komme gerne wieder und freue mich immer auf den nächsten Besuch.

Wir waren am 1.11. zu viert hier. Service sehr freundlich und extrem aufmerksam :) Und das Essen war lecker. Dazu gibt es eine schöne Wein- & Digestivauswahl. Wir waren alle zufrieden.

Diese Bewertung erfolgt unabhängig vom Brautpaar und den anderen Gästen, es ist meine eigene persönliche Einschätzung ! Ich war Gast bei einer Hochzeit im Gewölbekeller. Die Location war sehr schön. Dafür gebe ich sehr gerne 4 Sterne. Leider ließ die Sauberkeit der Toiletten sehr zu wünschen übrig , es stank sehr nach Urin was man mit einem Dixiklo vergleichen kann, einfach nur ekelhaft. Der Chef war sehr unfreundlich und genervt! Und das er die mitgebrachte Hochzeitstorte ruiniert hat , weil er die 4 Kartons übereinander gestapeln musste, statt uns um Hilfe zu bitten, war der absolute Höhepunkt! Unglaublich!! Dann ließ er uns einfach draußen stehen. Die Treppen zum Gewölbekeller sind sehr schlecht beleuchtet , so das ein älterer Gast gestürzt ist und sich den Arm gebrochen hat. Nun zum Essen! Die ausgewählten antipasti Speisen haben gut geschmeckt, insbesondere die Fischvariationen waren sehr gut. Die warmen Speisen haben mir persönlich nicht geschmeckt, schlecht gewürzt und Fleisch zu trocken, es hatte eher ein Kantinenniveau. Die Kellner waren bemüht und sehr freundlich , insbesondere die Kellnerin am Abend. Im großen und ganzen kann ich die Location nicht empfehlen, alleine wegen der stinkenden Toiletten nicht! Sehr schade , da es optisch ein schönes Ambiente ist.

Bredershof - Perfekte Hochzeitslocation Wir hatten das große Vergnügen, am 04.11.2023 unsere Hochzeit im Bredershof im Gewölbekeller zu feiern. Da es bereits eine negative Rezension (mit Bezug zu unserer Feier) gibt, möchten wir eine Kurzzusammenfassung und eine Stellungnahme posten, um angemessen reagieren zu können. Kurzversion: Wir können den Bredershof als Hochzeitslocation nur wärmstens empfehlen! + Die Absprache mit dem Eigentümer Hr. Dix war sehr zuvorkommend, hoch, professionell und unkompliziert. Wir haben uns bestens beraten, gefühlt und Hr. Dix war sehr gut erreichbar und hat schnell und ausführlich auf Anfragen reagiert (Der Traum eines jeden gestressten Hochzeitspaars) + Der Gewölbekeller als Location ist sehr atmosphärisch, braucht nicht viel Deko, um beeindruckend zu wirken und bietet genügend Platz, um Gäste, Bar, DJ, Tanzfläche und Essen unterzubringen. Er ist durch einen Hof vom Haupthaus separiert. Wir durften die großzügige Außenfläche mit nutzen. +Das abgesprochene Menü war super lecker und hat allen (anderen) Gästen fantastisch geschmeckt. Die Longdrinks hatten ein ordentliches Mischverhältnis und waren sehr lecker. ;) + Toiletten sind sauber und ausreichend vorhanden + Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend, hilfsbereit und aufmerksam. + Mitgebrachte Torten konnten problemlos vorab angeliefert und vor Ort gekühlt werden Wir können den Bredershof als Hochzeitslocation nur wärmstens empfehlen! Stellungnahme: Bezugnehmend auf die Bewertung von Katrin F. mit zwei Sternen möchten wir als Brautpaar wie folgt Stellung nehmen: Unser ausdrücklicher Dank geht an Hr. Dix und sein Team, welche maßgeblich zum Erfolg unserer Hochzeitsfeier beigetragen haben. Wir waren mit Location, Essen und Service mehr als zufrieden und würden jederzeit wieder im Bredershof feiern. Eine solche Bewertung von einem unserer Familienmitglieder lesen zu müssen, war uns sehr unangenehm und peinlich. Wir möchten uns ausdrücklich bei Hr. Dix dafür entschuldigen. Zu den Inhalten/ Vorwürfen: Die Toiletten stanken nach Urin Wir hatten die Location ab 14 Uhr für die Feier gemietet und durften morgens vorab den Gewölbekeller schmücken. Als wir gegen 13 Uhr vor Ort angekommen waren, waren die Toiletten sauber und in tadellosem Zustand. Der Vergleich mit dem Dixiklo ist für uns absolut nicht nachvollziehbar, wenn nicht sogar an den Haaren herbeigezogen. Zudem möchten wir darauf hinweisen, dass es zwei Toiletten auf der Damentoilette waren sowie diverse Urinale auf der Männertoilette. Die Toiletten vom Haupthaus kommen hier noch hinzu. Das Drama um die Hochzeitstorte Wir können nachvollziehen, dass viel Liebe und Arbeit in eine solche Torte fließt. Was wir als Brautpaar nicht nachvollziehen können, ist das respektlose und fordernde Verhalten, mit dem man vor Ort, dem Eigentümer und Servicepersonal begegnet ist. - Herr Dix und sein Team hatten eine ganze Hochzeitsfeier vorzubereiten. Unabgesprochen einzufordern, dass alles stehen und liegen bleibt, um eine vierstöckige, selbstgebackene Torte aufzubauen, war nachvollziehbarerweise nicht ihre Priorität und auch nicht ihre Verantwortung. Netterweise hat man trotzdem vor Ort ausgeholfen. Aus unserer Sicht ist die Bewertung von Katrin F. unangemessen und hat uns so beschämt, dass wir es als Brautpaar für notwendig erachtet haben, eine solch ausführliche Stellungnahme zu posten.

Gemütliches Ambiente, schmackhafte Speisen, sehr freundlicher Service. Exzellente Wein- und Obstbrand-Empfehlung durch die Bedienung. Hier stimmt einfach alles!

Es war ein ganz toller Abend im Bredershof: Ambiente, Essen, Service - alles tipptopp. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder :-).

Das Ambiente hat uns sehr gut gefallen, Service war etwas überfordert, da wohl viel los war. Das Essen ging gar nicht. Haben fast eine Stunde drauf gewartet, dann fehlten die Rosmarinkartoffeln beim gegrillten Calamari. Und weder der Calamari, noch die pikanten Miesmuscheln waren gewürzt, sie haben einfach nicht geschmeckt. Haben leider fast alles zurück geben müssen. Service war bemüht und gab uns noch zwei Digestife. Waren echt enttäuscht 😞

Sehr aufmerksamer Kellner (Fabian) und rundum gute Speisen. Wir waren zu 12. und haben uns am 29.10.2023 sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt.

Das Essen war eine 10 von 10. Der Wein war hervorragend, genau wie der Limoncello Spritz. Unser Hund wurde mit Leckerchen und Streicheleinheiten versorgt. Der Service war eine 12 von 10. Die Bedingung war so liebevoll und goldig, sowie professionell und zuvorkommend wie ich es schon sehr lange nicht mehr erlebt habe. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Location ist schön, Essen ist ganz gut - Preis/Leistung stimmt aber aus unserer Sicht nicht so recht…

Wir waren gestern Abend bei Ihnen zu Gast. Es war ein ganz wunderbarer Abend. Das Essen war hervorragend, der Wein hat gemundet und der Service war grandios. Mein Vater hatte Geburtstag und ein kleiner Hinweis hatte gereicht, dass ein Schnäpschen mit Kerze gereicht wurde. Ein ganz hervorragendes Etablissement, ich kann es nur jedem ans Herz legen. Wir kommen wieder!

Es war ein sehr schöner Abend mit Freunden in gemütlichem Ambiente mit sehr leckerem Essen z.B. Tafelspitz mit Wirsing und ? Ofenkartoffel mit Putenbrust mit Currydip. Es wurde auf die Wünsche von den Kindern eingegangen und alle super nett bedient. Unserem Besuch hat sich sehr wohl gefühlt und wir auch. Wir kommen wieder!!!

Wer eine große Feier in schönem Ambiente mit gutem Service feiern möchte, dem kann ich den Bredershof nur ans Herz legen! Wir haben ohne Kompromisse unsere Hochzeit gefeiert. Mit dem Essen waren alle sehr sehr zufrieden. Würden wir jederzeit wieder machen! ☺️

Eine wunderschöne, stilvolle, angenehme Atmosphäre! Sehr feines Essen, Toller Service, sehr freundliche, hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter. Hier stimmt alles- top!!👍

Wir haben unseren Geburtstag im Weinkeller und im Garten gefeiert. Die gesamt Location ist der 'Knaller'.Perfekte Organisation,nettes Servicepersonal und sehr leckeres Essen.

Ich tue mich schwer mit herber Kritik, aber wenn mehrere Faktoren zutiefst verstörend sind, gibt es keine Wahl. Das Ambiente im Biergarten ist zweifellos angenehm, der Service sehr freundlich. Aber wenn ein Wiener Schnitzel in steinharter dunkelbrauner Panade daher kommt, stammt es wie die dazu gehörigen Pommes frites aus einer Fritteuse. Dass deren Fett nicht das frischeste war, merkt man wenig später - und anhaltend. Noch übler stießen der Geruch und der Zustand der Toilettenanlage auf.
