Bräustübl in Bad Segeberg

I visit from South Carolina USA and wanted some home cooked food. Met Peter the owner the night before in a different Restaurant we chatted and he told me he owns a Restaurant so next I stopped by to try it out super friendly and comfy Atmosphere. Highly recommend if you travel to Bad Segeberg to check it out.

It was such a nice and happy evening with a great cook / boss / and singer... The food and service is great 👍👍👍 Price / performance ratio is more than customer-friendly 🤠🤠🤠 Warm greetings from Leverkusen, I'll be back soon 😉

really nice service! The boss is also really nice! but fries-currywurst, 2 beers = 25.50? Somehow something doesn't fit. and we urgently need a ventilation idea. It smells very strong and I would say like sauerkraut.

We ate there today and quickly found what we were looking for on the lovingly designed menu. The schnitzel and the farmer's breakfast (both homemade!!!) were really delicious and plentiful. There are also changing weekly offers. Everyone there is very warm and you feel welcome. The boss also sat down with us and chatted a bit. There was also a vocal performance on top, very great!!! We'll definitely be back!

As always, the food was very good and the “greetings from the kitchen” was a perfect starter. We just drove past the Bräustübl on the bus. With a tear in my eye 🥲 because we won't be coming over this year. Every vacation comes to an end. Stay as you are, but above all stay healthy. Even if we haven't heard you sing yet☝🏻. This is the next destination on your next vacation in Bad Segeberg. “A holiday is only perfect if you have been to the Bräustübl.”

We were there for the first time and were very excited, all the dishes were delicious, and there was also a great greeting from the kitchen. It's also very familiar and there was even a little show from the boss. The service was really good, you could just tell that both the waitress and the boss/cook really enjoyed working there. We'd love to come back when we're in the area again.

This was the best 👍 schnitzel I've eaten this year and actually there were 2 🤗 It was fresh and delicious 😋 prepared and at a very reasonable price. And when the cook had a short break, he sang a song for us. If I lived in Bad Segeberg, I would certainly go there more often. Great, can definitely be recommended 🙂

When we arrived at the Braustübl we were warmly welcomed and the drinks arrived quickly. The meal took a little longer, but not bad at all because the food was really outstanding. Greetings from the kitchen came beforehand, great! During the meal our little one was given filleted orange. After the meal, three more songs were sung. It was really nice, familiar and fun. Thank you for this great evening! It was a real highlight for us. We ate very tasty food. Everything was freshly prepared. The service was very courteous and friendly and, above all, child-friendly. We were able to enjoy warm service. The boss "Peter" was awesome, cooked himself, came to the table and at the end there was a great singing performance from him. We will definitely come back. An absolute stroke of luck! On the way back from the Neumünster outlet to our holiday destination Grömitz, we spontaneously looked for a place to eat something with two families including children. We came across the Braustüble in Bad Segeberg – and what luck that was! As soon as we entered we were warmly welcomed by the incredibly friendly staff. The boss himself took time for us, greeted us personally and made sure that we immediately felt at home. Particularly impressive: the boss himself cooked for us! Every dish was freshly prepared and you could taste it. The quality and taste of the food was simply fantastic - fresh ingredients, lovingly prepared and cooked with a lot of passion. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for families. We would particularly like to highlight the attentive service: the children's request for more orange slices for the little one was immediately fulfilled without us even having to ask. This shows how much attention is paid to the needs of the guests here. The menu offered a great selection, so there was something for everyone. At the end there was a great musical performance that rounded off the evening perfectly. We can fully recommend the Braustüble in Bad Segeberg. It was the perfect end to our day and we'll definitely be back!

After a great visit to the Karl May Festival, we went here for dinner spontaneously and without a reservation with 4 adults and 2 children. The friendly service welcomed us very nicely and offered us a table on the terrace. Unfortunately the terrace is right on the street, but we still took the table. The “street noise” was subdued and inconsequential. Unfortunately we can't give such a good rating for the food. The consistency of the two Jägerschnitzels was good, but the sauce had little taste. The pasta in tomato sauce was quite a large portion for a child, but here too the tomato sauce was very watery/thin. The baked potato and the salad with falafel tasted delicious.

After the Karl May games we came to the Bräustübl to end the evening. The food was super tasty and beautifully prepared. The atmosphere was relaxed and the atmosphere in the restaurant was relaxed. When the (head chef) picked up the microphone and sang a song, we were so positively surprised that we will always remember the evening. :) See you next time!

Rustic restaurant with a taste for the 60s The service was just great, friendly and funny, it was really fun. The food was also very tasty. And the highlight, the singing chef, everything is just right here. We'd love to come back.

Really delicious food, everything was freshly made, there was a little greeting from the kitchen beforehand, then the salad was put on a separate plate instead of with the meal, really great!!!! Where else do you have the chef come to the table and wish you a bon appetit. We were very happy with everything, thank you for the lovely evenings

The Braustübl is a super quaint, nice restaurant. The waitresses were super friendly and the chef was absolutely great with singing :) top delicious food definitely worth a visit!

True Nordic hospitality. Honest and courteous. Even the water bowl for our dog came without being asked and served on a tray. ☺️ The food is honest and worth the price. If we lived here, we would be regulars.

They tried hard, but were completely overwhelmed. There was no invoice because the boss only gives it in at the end of the day. I won't say anything more about it.

Yesterday we went to the Bräustübl for the first time with two friends. The food was absolutely amazing! There was an unexpected little greeting from the kitchen in advance, which was extremely tasty (unfortunately I can't remember what it was exactly). We ordered schnitzel 4 times and it was (audibly) freshly chopped. The atmosphere was great, friendly service and Peter the boss started singing towards the end. All around an absolute experience restaurant! At the end there was a Lütten on the house :-D

Cozy restaurant with super friendly staff, Peter is a real original. We'd love to come back.

A quaint restaurant with super good cuisine. During the asparagus season we served asparagus with small potatoes and hollandaise sauce. As a side dish, among other things, zander fillet. A real treat!! Unfortunately there was no more asparagus on the second visit. I chose Scholle Finkenwerder. Also very tasty. The salad with a super delicious dressing, the boss didn't want to tell us the recipe. The plaice fried to perfection. The fried potatoes were great. My husband had Hamburger Schnitzel and absolutely loved it too. We'd be happy to come back if we ever end up in Segeberg again

Hello dear friends of cultivated beer and munch culture. Here's a really hot tip for you: if you like eating delicious schnitzel in Bad Segeberg, Peter's in the Bräustübl is the right place for you. Here, a truly excellent schnitzel with crispy fried potatoes is conjured up in the traditional way. The portions are very generous and if you would like to have a nice chat with the host, this is the place for you. German pub atmosphere. Tasty, simple but good quality food for a pub. Service was a bit “confused” at times, but overall friendly and quick.

We discovered a nice restaurant with home-style cuisine in Bad Segeberg. Nice pub atmosphere, friendly service and great food.

The food was very good. The disillusionment came later. We had reserved for 10 people. After dinner we were more or less complimented because a screen with a projector was going to be set up in our seating area for the upcoming football game. We would have liked to have had something to drink. Then we paid a surcharge of €2 per person for fried potatoes, which the host offered us in bowls for the whole group. Information beforehand would have been nice.

While looking for dinner, we happened upon the Bräustübel on Good Friday. Dear Peter, it was a wonderful, very entertaining evening with delicious currywurst, a first-class farmer's breakfast and, above all, with you as host and karaoke singer! We have taken your order. A great restaurant that is run by the owner with a lot of love and passion. The food was extremely tasty - even the dessert, which wasn't on the menu, was convincing. A convincing one-man show. We weren't here for the last time. There was a farewell serenade. We wish you continued success.

You can eat very, very well here. The service was also very courteous and all of our requests were met as best as possible. We recommend!!

Were there for the first time, it's a nice little restaurant with a friendly owner. The only small negative points are the schnitzel could be bigger. And maybe don't cut into the currywurst. But otherwise everything was great, we'd love to come back

Super honest service, the food is very tasty. If you're lucky, there's even karaoke and the boss sings for the guests.

A small and cozy restaurant. The food full of love and taste. The service loving and warm. The ambience is rustic with attention to detail. Peter only offers a few dishes in his Bräustübl, but quite large portions, everything home-style and delicious. And tapped Grevensteiner. We recently sat outside to eat suckling pig with a live Elvis impersonator. We and many other regular guests had a lot of fun the whole evening.

Gemütliches ,freundliches Ambiente für Pils Liebhaber zu Empfehlen.

Es ist nicht das größte Restaurant. Frank Rosin war vor Ort und einiges hat sich sicher verbessert. Das Essen war jetzt nicht mein Ding, aber an den Nachbartischen waren alle Teller leer. Der Wirt ist älteren Semesters und sehr freundlich, wie auch der Service. Wer in dem Alter noch Gastwirt ist verdient Respekt. Besucht deshalb gerne dieses urige Restaurant.

Servus Peter, Würd ich nicht am anderen Ende Deutschlands wohnen würde ich so gerne bei dir essen gehen... i schau gerade die Folge und finde das du ein super Typ bist. Tolle Veränderung die du durchlebst hast :)

Grünkohl war lecker, 4 waren zu fünft hatten alle eine Portion musste aber All You can eat essen. Fand ich abzocke, auch die Nachfrage durch die Kellnerin das alle nur ein Portion gegessen haben verneite der Chef. (Wir sprechen über 35,-€)Da hilft auch keine Frank Rosin Empfehlung wenn man unbedingt 7,- €💰 pro Gast als Chef dazu verdienen muss. Wie gesagt, essen war gut, hat mich aber extrem geärgert und würde nicht mehr hingehen, deshalb kann ich es nicht empfehlen. 👇

Sehr leckeres Essen. Der Service war super freundlich und aufmerksam. Kann man nur empfehlen.

Ich habe gestern zum ersten Mal dort gegessen ( Inzwischen 2 Jahre her) und meine Frau und ich sind einig: KLASSE Ein kleines, rustikales, charmantes Restaurant mit einer Speisekarte, die viele Speisen verspricht die man nicht mehr überall findet. Sauerfleisch, Scholle, Schnitzel...demnächst Grünkohl.... Uns hat es sehr gut geschmeckt und gefallen. Leckeres Essen ( wirklich frisch zubereitet und toll angerichtet), sehr nette Wirtsleute und gut gezapftes Bier.... bei zivilen Preisen. Mehr braucht kein Mensch - wir kommen gene wieder. Inzwischen waren wir recht oft und regelmäßig bei Peter und immer sah das Essen nicht nur lecker aus, es schmeckte auch so!!! Mit tollem "Gruß aus der Küche" vorab !! Bin überrascht. Sehr gutes Essen. Wir hatten Bauernfrühsrück. Einige Leute kamen von außerhalb. Alles war besetzt. Wir hatten einen Platz am Tresen bekommen, weil wir nicht reserviert hatten. Es war lecker, tolle Bedienung, Stimmung war toll. Man muss es selbst erleben. Ungezwungene Stimmung. 💯💯💯👍❤️❤️❤️

Ich kann die Kleine Kneipe vom Peter nur empfehlen. Sind auf einer Durchreise dort gewesen und haben sehr gutes Bürgerliches Essen bekommen 😃 Muss dazu sagen das es mir so gut geschmeckt hat das wir die 280 km weite Anfahrt mit einem schönen Wochenende in Bad Segeberg verbringen werden um dort auch wieder zu Speisen. Lg aus dem Ruhrgebiet. PS halte die Ohren steif und glaub an dich mit deiner Kochkunst 😘

Wir waren zum ersten Mal dort und haben den Besuch genossen. Die Schnitzel sind sensationell, Pommes wie sie sein müssen und dazu einen leckeren Salat. Bedienung war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Insgesamt war die Erfahrung in Ordnung. Deutsche Küche im rustikalen Ambiente. Bratkartoffeln recht gut, aber etwas viel Salz. Schnitzel gut und Spiegeleier (eigentlich Stockeier) auch. Salat vorab in Ordnung. Der Gruß aus der Küche sehr nett, aber leider nicht unser Fall. Die Bedienung war stets nett und bemüht, aber nicht besonders zügig. Die sanitären Anlagen waren akzeptabel und durchaus normal sauber, aber keine Glanzleistung.

Ein tolles empfehlenswertes Restaurant. Super leckeres frisches Essen. Freundliche Bedienung. Immer wieder gern und eine Reise wert. Danke , wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.,

Eine in die Jahre gekommene Kneipe mit kleiner Karte. Ohne die positiven Rezensionen wären wir wohl nicht zum Essen geblieben. Haben dann das Karl May Spezial genommen und waren zufrieden. Essen war gut. Service war sehr nett und witzig. Wei hatten Spaß. Kann man beruhigt hingehen.

Für eine Kneipe mit Biergarten wirklich gutes Essen. Wir hatten Sauerfleisch und Spaghetti. Der Inhaber kam kurz persönlich an alle Tische. Gute Atmosphäre im Biergarten. Der Garten müßte mal wieder etwas gesäubert werden. Service schnell und aufmerksam.

Dieses tolle Rustikale Ambiente war einfach schön! Klein aber fein & man fühlt sich sehr wohl! Der Chef hat uns mit seiner sehr tollen Fachkraft so herzlich begrüßt👍🏻 Die Karte ist überschaubar & für jeden etwas dabei! Das Essen war einfach nur mega lecker & sehr frisch!
