Bräustübl in Bad Segeberg

I highly recommend this restaurant; the atmosphere was very cozy and the service was very attentive and friendly. The chef has a great sense of humor and cooks superbly; we even received a complimentary appetizer.

We were looking forward to trying this place which had good reviews and seemed like a nice authentic German restaurant. Unfortunately it turned out to be very authentic German as they don't accept card payments and so we had to move on. Luckily we found a probably even better place in the city centre.

Always great! One of the few restaurants where you can eat fried potatoes. Peter is not only a first-class chef, but also a true original who still knows what hospitality means. I'm already looking forward to the next time.

It was such a relaxed place. A very friendly host, casual remarks ("the host still knocks here himself"), and truly delicious food. The portions were generous, and the prices were perfectly reasonable. We were delighted to be able to enjoy such a delicious meal here so spontaneously.

An old and rustic restaurant with a lot of charm. The guest feels welcome here and is also noticed. The food is absolutely amazing. Everything is really homemade, the meat is cooked to perfection and the portions are generous. We were here twice and had to have something packed both times. At the end there is an introduction with the owner who is also the chef and the entertainer. Highly recommended and we say thank you for the lovely evenings.

I was there for dinner with my partner earlier. The restaurant was fully booked, but we were allowed to wait for a free table and were not turned away. The food was...mmmm...tasty. Was there for dinner with my friend today. You can't get into the restaurant with a wheelchair without help, and there is also no disabled toilet. But the service was good and the food was very tasty. You can't complain about the price either.

That was just the right atmosphere in the evening after a 10km hike. The staff was so friendly that we chatted after dinner. The food was super tasty and completely sufficient for a ravenous hunger. There was even a super delicious greeting from the kitchen beforehand. So it's consistent in all areas and beyond. Gladly again.

I was recently at the Braustüb'l, which pleasantly surprised me. The food was extremely tasty and freshly prepared, which you could taste in every bite. The staff were friendly, warm and accommodating, which contributed to a pleasant atmosphere. The ambience of the place was quaint and inviting, ideal for a relaxed dinner and a great place to spend a fun evening. You could feel that the chef put his heart and passion into his work, which was reflected in the quality of the food. You could also talk to him personally. The selected meal was accompanied by a greeting from the kitchen and the salad was served separately with the meal. Overall it was a place where you could feel comfortable. I can only recommend it to everyone. A must to visit in Bad Segeberg. Price performance top. FYI: no card payment

It was a really nice evening in the Bräustübl! Peter came straight to our table and introduced himself. An absolute North German original and just really nice and entertaining. The food was fantastic and we left the store feeling full. If you want to enjoy German cuisine in a cozy, pub-like atmosphere, this is the place for you! Peter is always willing to provide things to try if you don't know them. For us it was the sour meat and so I left the restaurant even smarter. Take a look if you're in Bad Segeberg! We went there spontaneously to eat kale. Very friendly welcome from the waitress. Great service! There was a greeting from the boss, then really tasty kale with very crispy fried potatoes. Plus cabbage sausage, crispy, cheek and 2 thick slices of smoked pork. As a farewell greeting from the house, there were homemade quark balls with cinnamon plum and vanilla ice cream. Farewell with a handshake...the evening couldn't have been more perfect!

There is a lot of heart and memories in the atmosphere! The food (kale) was really tasty, unfortunately I'm not that into bacon🙃 but otherwise really great. There was an extra homemade chocolate sauce and ice cream for us! The gentleman rocks the kitchen alone, he involves every customer very much and hides in the kitchen. His ladies are great too! I visit from South Carolina USA and wanted some home cooked food. Met Peter the owner the night before in a different Restaurant we chatted and he told me he owns a Restaurant so next I stopped by to try it out super friendly and comfy Atmosphere. Highly recommend if you travel to Bad Segeberg to check it out.

really nice service! The boss is also really nice! but fries-currywurst, 2 beers = 25.50? Somehow something doesn't fit. and we urgently need a ventilation idea. It smells very strong and I would say like sauerkraut.

We ate there today and quickly found what we were looking for on the lovingly designed menu. The schnitzel and the farmer's breakfast (both homemade!!!) were really delicious and plentiful. There are also changing weekly offers. Everyone there is very warm and you feel welcome. The boss also sat down with us and chatted a bit. There was also a vocal performance on top, very great!!! We'll definitely be back!

This is the next destination on your next vacation in Bad Segeberg. “A holiday is only perfect if you have been to the Bräustübl.”

It's also very familiar and there was even a little show from the boss. The service was really good, you could just tell that both the waitress and the boss/cook really enjoyed working there. We'd love to come back when we're in the area again.

This was the best 👍 schnitzel I've eaten this year and actually there were 2 🤗 It was fresh and delicious 😋 prepared and at a very reasonable price. And when the cook had a short break, he sang a song for us. If I lived in Bad Segeberg, I would certainly go there more often. Great, can definitely be recommended 🙂

When we arrived at the Braustübl we were warmly welcomed and the drinks arrived quickly. The meal took a little longer, but not bad at all because the food was really outstanding. Greetings from the kitchen came beforehand, great! During the meal our little one was given filleted orange. After the meal, three more songs were sung. It was really nice, familiar and fun. An absolute stroke of luck! On the way back from the Neumünster outlet to our holiday destination Grömitz, we spontaneously looked for a place to eat something with two families including children. We came across the Braustüble in Bad Segeberg – and what luck that was! As soon as we entered we were warmly welcomed by the incredibly friendly staff. The boss himself took time for us, greeted us personally and made sure that we immediately felt at home. Particularly impressive: the boss himself cooked for us! Every dish was freshly prepared and you could taste it. The quality and taste of the food was simply fantastic - fresh ingredients, lovingly prepared and cooked with a lot of passion. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for families. We would particularly like to highlight the attentive service: the children's request for more orange slices for the little one was immediately fulfilled without us even having to ask. This shows how much attention is paid to the needs of the guests here. The menu offered a great selection, so there was something for everyone. At the end there was a great musical performance that rounded off the evening perfectly. We can fully recommend the Braustüble in Bad Segeberg. It was the perfect end to our day and we'll definitely be back!

After a great visit to the Karl May Festival, we went here for dinner spontaneously and without a reservation with 4 adults and 2 children. The friendly service welcomed us very nicely and offered us a table on the terrace. Unfortunately the terrace is right on the street, but we still took the table. The “street noise” was subdued and inconsequential. Unfortunately we can't give such a good rating for the food. The consistency of the two Jägerschnitzels was good, but the sauce had little taste. The pasta in tomato sauce was quite a large portion for a child, but here too the tomato sauce was very watery/thin. The baked potato and the salad with falafel tasted delicious.

After the Karl May games we came to the Bräustübl to end the evening. The food was super tasty and beautifully prepared. The atmosphere was relaxed and the atmosphere in the restaurant was relaxed. When the (head chef) picked up the microphone and sang a song, we were so positively surprised that we will always remember the evening. :) See you next time!

Yesterday we went to the Bräustübl for the first time with two friends. The food was absolutely amazing! There was an unexpected little greeting from the kitchen in advance, which was extremely tasty (unfortunately I can't remember what it was exactly). We ordered schnitzel 4 times and it was (audibly) freshly chopped. The atmosphere was great, friendly service and Peter the boss started singing towards the end. All around an absolute experience restaurant! At the end there was a Lütten on the house :-D

A quaint restaurant with super good cuisine. During the asparagus season we served asparagus with small potatoes and hollandaise sauce. As a side dish, among other things, zander fillet. A real treat!! Unfortunately there was no more asparagus on the second visit. I chose Scholle Finkenwerder. Also very tasty. The salad with a super delicious dressing, the boss didn't want to tell us the recipe. The plaice fried to perfection. The fried potatoes were great. My husband had Hamburger Schnitzel and absolutely loved it too. We'd be happy to come back if we ever end up in Segeberg again

Hello dear friends of cultivated beer and munch culture. Here's a really hot tip for you: if you like eating delicious schnitzel in Bad Segeberg, Peter's in the Bräustübl is the right place for you. Here, a truly excellent schnitzel with crispy fried potatoes is conjured up in the traditional way. The portions are very generous and if you would like to have a nice chat with the host, this is the place for you. We discovered a nice restaurant with home-style cuisine in Bad Segeberg. Nice pub atmosphere, friendly service and great food.

The food was very good. The disillusionment came later. We had reserved for 10 people. After dinner we were more or less complimented because a screen with a projector was going to be set up in our seating area for the upcoming football game. We would have liked to have had something to drink. Then we paid a surcharge of €2 per person for fried potatoes, which the host offered us in bowls for the whole group. Information beforehand would have been nice.

While looking for dinner, we happened upon the Bräustübel on Good Friday. Dear Peter, it was a wonderful, very entertaining evening with delicious currywurst, a first-class farmer's breakfast and, above all, with you as host and karaoke singer! We have taken your order. Peter only offers a few dishes in his Bräustübl, but quite large portions, everything home-style and delicious. And tapped Grevensteiner. We recently sat outside to eat suckling pig with a live Elvis impersonator. We and many other regular guests had a lot of fun the whole evening.
