That was a really great experience. The gentleman who served us was friendly and remained calm and collected. The food was excellent, especially the tiramisu, which I highly recommend. The atmosphere is very pleasant; there's plenty of space and everyone has their own seat. It was my first time there, and I'd love to come back again.

I can't recommend it. The food was bad; I got food poisoning the next day and just threw up what I ate.

I ate a tuna pizza with pepperoni, onions, and olives—simply incredible! Italians are already the best pizza makers, but this pizzeria is in a whole different league. The dough and tomato sauce were so good they seemed like the ultimate pizza. As I ate, I was almost sad that it was dwindling, slice by slice, even though I was actually getting full. I just didn't want this taste experience to end.

A very nice location, and the food was also very, very tasty. The fat waiter with the beautiful black hair made the evening more enjoyable with his witty remarks. I definitely recommend it.

Completely overwhelmed staff. When you run a venue like this next to the Karl May Festival, you should be prepared for it to suddenly get very busy. We would have understood the wait, but bringing the menu after 15 minutes and taking your drink order, which still aren't there 45 minutes later, and getting no response when you ask, while everyone else who arrived later already had their order, that's just not acceptable! And as we could see, some people were served their food and then their cutlery after 5 minutes, but only after asking! We left and will never go there again.

We spontaneously dropped in between two Karl May performances. It was very busy, but the friendly and attentive waiter offered us a table that had just become available. After a short time, our drinks and food were brought to our table. The drinks arrived in less than five minutes, and after a 20-minute wait, the food was even on the table, despite the restaurant being packed to the brim. We can only give the food top marks for the taste! Thank you for the spontaneous, very pleasant experience!

We had reserved a table in advance, but unfortunately, the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed when we arrived – they didn't know where to sit at first. This seemed disorganized and made for a rather rocky start. The restaurant itself was extremely loud – conversation was sometimes only possible with a raised voice. The atmosphere was more like a train station concourse than a cozy dinner. It was clear that the servers were under massive stress. Although they tried to remain friendly, everything seemed rushed and chaotic. Unfortunately, we were also charged twice for one meal – a mistake that was hopefully an isolated incident, but apparently lost in the hustle and bustle. Despite all this, it must be said: The food was truly delicious. The kitchen knows its craft, and there was nothing to complain about in terms of taste. That definitely saved the evening. Conclusion: Good food, but there is significant room for improvement in service and organization. If you can stand the noise and hustle and bustle, you'll at least get a tasty meal here.

We were at Karlmay and reserved a table at 5:30 pm. We had to wait 5 minutes and were able to sit down and order immediately. Although the place was completely full, we had our food within 20 minutes.

Toller Empfang, supernetter Service, schnell und kompetent. Spaghetti Carbonara sehr lecker, Tomatensuppe richtig toll und, zack, direkt auf die Hüfte. Die vegetarische Pizza hat noch Luft nach oben, der Teig perfekt, aber die Aubergine fast roh und alles ziemlich ungekürzt.

In my opinion, the map is far too extensive, but fortunately this hasn't affected the quality so far. The prices are fair. It is always recommended to make a reservation as the restaurant is busy. When all the seats are occupied, it can be a bit noisy, but this is normal given the limited space. The restaurant is an absolute tip and recommended!

A temporary worker was only there for the evening, but you didn't notice that at all. The staff was super friendly, the food came quickly, the portions were large and super tasty! Absolute recommendation. There was another error in the bill (overcharged), but we only noticed it after paying by card. The boss paid back the overpaid money without discussion and apologized profusely. It was a nice visit to the restaurant and we would love to come back! :)

A second chair had to be procured first. Drinks came quickly. Waiters and toilet users constantly pushed past us. When we asked about food after waiting 40 minutes, we were told succinctly: Coming soon. Our hint that we had to go to Karl May soon was also ignored. When our two pizzas finally arrived, not a word of regret or apology. It goes without saying that there was no tip when paying. We cannot recommend the “restaurant” more highly. Too bad.

If you want to wait 20 minutes for your first drink and over 1 hour 15 minutes for your food, you should go here. When the food came to the table it was very disappointing! Bruschetta was wet and therefore soggy. Pizza wasn't really good either! Many other guests were visibly disappointed and had to spontaneously order their pizza to take away because it took far too long!

This restaurant used to have great service several years ago, which you can't see anymore today. Of course we also visited Bad Segeberg and the restaurant because of the Karl May Festival and were extremely disappointed. First of all, we sat outside and were immediately brought drinks, but then we sat there for between 30-45 minutes and were not looked at, even though it was in our interest to have another meal. If you then draw attention to yourself, you will be treated snippily and not taken seriously. Among other things, hair was found in the pasta, the Bolognese was not a sauce but an oily soup and the pizza dough was impossible, not completely cooked through, no salt, nothing. The beer was also expired (you could tell by the taste). And for the price, that's incredible. With numbers like that you expect reasonable service and good quality. We will never come back and the fact that this has been coming to an end for almost 10 years is very sad.

We were there today, the spaghetti bolognese was soupy, no cheese was served with it. A pizza we ordered was okay, but not particularly well topped. Once penne with broccoli, it lacked flavor. My wheat beer tasted a bit sour, the colas and a non-alcoholic wheat beer were fine. You had to order the service, otherwise it wouldn't come. When asked which wheat beer it was, the waiter couldn't answer. We've had better experiences before. That was the last visit there for us. But the toilets were very clean. For a pizza you have to expect around €14, a wheat beer costs six euros, food for three people and drinks for four people come to €59.

We had reserved a table for 8 people. When we arrived, we found that they had set up three tables for us in the actual parking lot (I have no idea where they borrowed them, they didn't fit in with the rest of the interior), in the blazing sun, without any sun protection, at 29 °C in the shade! But the main thing is to rake in even more money, as if you weren't already doing that during the Karl May season! I would prefer not to give any stars at all. Called by phone two weeks before and booked a table. On the day we would have had the table, we were not listed and therefore had no space at all. Very disappointing, I can't recommend it.

Ten of us were there after the Karl May games. Had the space outside between the toilets and the kitchen. I could live with that, but an employee of the restaurant was smoking outside next to the kitchen, which wasn't very inviting. The service was averagely friendly. The food was nothing special. Both the pizza and the pasta dishes tasted bland. My tortellini were relatively al dente and the cream sauce was too runny. The portion size is too small for good eaters. My cola was barely carbonated and my wife's sparkling water was room temperature. I wouldn't come back.

Were there on the Saturday before the evening imagine. We waited outside until a table became available and as soon as we were seated a storm and rain started outside. Every corner of the restaurant was used to enable people to stay dry. A man in a wheelchair was carried into the restaurant by the staff...all the staff were incredibly hospitable. What a tourist rip-off! We made a reservation so that we could eat well in front of Karl May and not have to eat fries/bratwurst. Unfortunately there is only a greatly reduced ticket, less and more expensive, especially for the Karl May Festival period. But this was not apparent beforehand. I specifically looked at the website and there was nothing about a special menu. Pizza Prosciutto or Pizza Funghi was on the menu. I would have liked ham + mushrooms. Answer: No. No special requests for the Karl May era. Hello? Everything else was exactly the same... There were 5 of us. I then ordered Bruscetta. 2 black charred pieces of bread with over-seasoned tomatoes. For 3 euros more than normal. Karl May...yes, that's clear. Spaghetti Bolo was just greasy and inedible. At first we thought they were sour...it worked with parmesan. However, we had to wait forever for it. Conclusion: Never go to this store again! The only nice thing was the boy, about 8 years old and part of the house, who was very eager to light the candles and clearly enjoyed it. We feel cheated and ripped off. We also told the waiter this. He then said, "yes, I understand. Funghi/Prosciutto wouldn't have been so difficult and would definitely be possible....Oh....Our waitress said no. That sucks! So we're going straight to the festival and eating fries there again etc. I try not to let it spoil my mood. Recommendation: Absolutely NO!

Kleines familiengeführtes Restaurant mit einer guten Auswahl an Gerichten. Man sollte nach der Aktionskarte fragen, die oft leckere saisonale Spezialitäten enthält. Wir waren kürzlich mit Freunden zu einer kleinen Feier im La Famiglia und sind hellauf begeistert: Nicht nur, dass es vorab eine hervorragende Antipastiauswahl gab. Das Team hat es auch mühelos geschafft 10 à la carte Gerichte zeitgleich auf den Tisch zu zaubern. WIr kommen immer wieder gerne vorbei!

We ate there before the Andreas Gabalier concert at Kalkberg. Very nice service, mega delicious pizza. If we come here to the open-air stage again, we will definitely eat here again.

Everything was super tasty. The meat was reserved very tender. (Had the grill plate). The home side salad is TOP! Rarely have I had such a delicious side salad. All pasta is fresh and prepared the same day. It was an amusing and warm evening. We'd love to come back.

I really wanted to eat at an Italian restaurant. Now I would have preferred to go to one of the rather rare Greek restaurants. Basically the food didn't taste bad, it's just that the price in relation to the food wasn't right in my opinion. I can overlook a lot of things, I'm basically a kebab subscriber. But if I've finished eating and at the same moment the last person at our table gets their food, I'm either a super fast eater or I've bought an appetizer for over €20. There are still rumors. Wir waren zweimal zum Essen da. Beim Wein kann man sich gerne beraten lassen. Es gibt auch Flaschenweine die nicht auf der Karte stehen. Bei den Speisen hatten wir Vorspeisen: Gemischte Pilze, Leber auf Salat, Carpaccio mit Trüffeln und Kürbissuppe (leicht scharf). Alles sehr gut. Das Carpaccio wurde frisch mit der Hand geschnitten. Das habe ich seit 20 Jahren nicht mehr erlebt. Gibt heute fast überall nur noch TK aus der Pappe. Hauptspeisen: Lammfilet auf den Punkt, Pasta Puttanesca, Ravioli mit Kalbfleischfüllung und interessehalber den Klassiker Bolognese. Auch alles sehr gut. Wahrscheinlich ist man hier immer sehr zufrieden, egal was man bestellt. Der Maestro vom Service ist aufmerksam und freundlich. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohlgefühlt.

Das Brucetta super frisch und lecker, wollten wir als Vorspeise haben, war aber nicht möglich, wurde mit der Hauptspeise zusammen gebracht. Das Tiramisu ist der Hammer

Wir waren vor der Karl-May-Vorstellung dort, reservieren war leider nicht möglich, aber wir sollten um 17Uhr da sein, dann hätten wir gute Chancen auf einen Sitzplatz. Haben wir auch gemacht und bekamen draußen, gefühlt auf dem Parkplatz, 2 Tische zusammengestellt, als die Nachmittags-Vorstellung zu Ende war, war es sehr idyllisch mit so vielen Menschen an unserem Tisch 😉, inkl. Nutzung des Tischaschenbechers, den wir irgendwann unter den Tisch stellten. Da drinnen noch Platz war, hätten wir es dort netter gefunden, aber das ging aus uns nicht nachvollziehbaren Gründen nicht. Die Tische waren klebrig und schmutzig vom Vorgänger vermutlich - nicht schön! Die Kalt-Getränke kamen zügig, allerdings in warmen Gläsern und Bitter Lemon bspw. schmeckte wie Brausetablette aber ohne Kohlensäure, das bestellte Essen enthielt mehrere Pizzen, die am Rand verbrannt waren und in der Mitte teigig, die Nudeln waren relativ geschmacklos und das Dressing vom Salat musste man suchen. Wir waren sprachlos, vor allem aufgrund der vielen guten Bewertungen. Positiv möchte ich das Personal erwähnen, dieses war freundlich, mit einem Lächeln und einem flotten Spruch auf den Lippen. Ebenso wurden die reklamieren Pizzen kommentarlos zurückgenommen und neu gebracht, leider in einer nicht wesentlich besseren Qualität. Den Preis möchte ich nicht kommentieren. Ich weiß natürlich nicht, ob es an der Masse durch die Festspiele liegt, aber unser Besuch war leider gar nix.

Was halt schade ist, dass man als Einheimischer nicht reservieren kann. Das Essen war bei unserer Gruppe, unterer Durchschnitt. Was man wissen sollte, wenn man Frutti di Mare Pizza bestellt, dass das meiste Belag aus Surimi, Fischmuskeleiweis (Abfallprodukt der Fischindustrie) besteht. Was garnicht geht, das Tiramisu. Auf Nachfrage, wird das mit Rumaroma gemacht, da wohl auch Kinder dies gerne bestellen, sie die Begründung. Alles in allem, wir waren mal da und gehen wieder das nächste Mal in der Nachbarschaft dieses Restaurants essen.
