Ein unglaublich schöner Biergarten. Ich hatte ein veganes Wiener Schnitzel, das wirklich lecker war. Die Bedienung war etwas gehetzt, und manche wirkten ein wenig verlegen. Trotzdem: ein tolles kulinarisches Erlebnis in Bielefeld.

Wir waren zum BBQ Buffet weil wir ein schönen gemütlichen Abend mit Freunden bei gutem Ambiente mit einem tollen Grillbuffet verbringen wollten , leider wurden wir sehr enttäuscht !! 3 Salate ( alle gekauft !!) zwei Arten Kartoffeln die kalt waren, da die Brennpaste aus war , einmal Nackensteak - was wie eine Schuhsohle gegrillt wurde , Pute war lecker , Bratwurst vegan und normal , auch nicht der Hit, drei Arten Saucen und ein wenig Brot , dass war’s ! Das soll ein Grillbuffet sein ?? Sorry bei aller Liebe das war es nicht wert und rausgeschmissenes Geld ! Nie wieder und können wir nicht empfehlen bestellt lieber a la Carte !

Das Essen und das Bier waren gut. Der Service war gut, aber es gab auch deutschsprachige Mitarbeiter, die uns halfen.

War inzwischen Mehrfach im Brauhaus. Gutes Essen und toller Service. Immer wieder gerne. Das Ambiente ist gut. Teils etwas Laut durch sehr offene Räume. Es bleibt jedoch ein Pflichttermin wenn ich Bielefeld bin.

Gehen meist nur für Getränke hierher. Diese werden vom sehr freundlichen Personal innerhalb kürzester Zeit serviert. Das hauseigene "Messing" ist sehr zu empfehlen. Es kann mitunter voll werden. Im Sommer gibt es einen schönen Biergarten im Hinterhof. Zu den Stoßzeiten kann eine Reservierung nicht schaden.

Nettes Lokal mit schönem Biergarten. Innen wie außen rustikal und durch und durch gemütlich. Wir haben uns im Biergarten gesetzt, als die Bedienung kam und uns um etwas Geduld bat, da andere Gäste gerade die Karte nutzten. Als wir diese dann hatten, bestellten wir zunächst Getränke, die auch recht zügig kamen. Die Preise für die Speisen sind etwas höher angesiedelt, die Portionen sind jedoch in Ordnung.

Von mir volle Punkte sehr Gemütlich.

Ich halte mich kurz und knapp! Service nett und flott. Schnitzel okay aber sehr klein (TK Ware), Pommes etwas versalzen, Gurkensalat als Beilage langweilig. Käsespätzle gut, haben jedoch nur 1/4 essen können und gebeten den Rest einzupacken. Haben ein zum Säckchen geformten Alubeutel bekommen 😂 hab ich so noch nie erlebt! Habt ihr keine Behälter für sowas? Zudem haben wir dann zu Hause festgestellt, dass uns nur ein kleiner Teil des Essens mitgegeben wurde. Also wirklich weniger als die Hälfe von dem was noch auf dem Teller war. Finde ich schon sehr frech! Ich komme wenn dann nur noch auf ein Getränk vorbei.

Ich war auf Empfehlung von Freunden zum ersten Mal dort und es war ein wirklich tolles Erlebnis. Ein großzügiger Raum mit einem gemütlichen Innenbereich, origineller Einrichtung und einer Terrasse. Der Service war exzellent, schnell und freundlich, selbst als es sehr voll war. Die Auswahl an Gerichten ist vielfältig und abwechslungsreich. Ich kann es nur empfehlen!

Sehr gutes Essen. Super Service. Typische Brauereigaststätte. Sehr gerne komme wir wieder

alles solide. die speisekarte bietet höherwertige und mittelklasse gerichte (z.b. wiener schnitzel und schnitzel wiener art). bedienungen soweit freundlich, aber wirken teils ein wenig „trainiert“/unnatürlich. das essen kam zu schnell - hier fragt man sich, ob viel convenience eingesetzt wird oder einfach alles zentral gut durchgeplant ist? vielleicht auch eine mischung… das selbstgebraute helle lässt sich gut trinken, witzig ist, dass man ganze mehrliterfässer vorbestellen kann. besuch lohnt sich zumindest mal zum einmaligen mitnehmen und für den ein oder anderen geselligen abend.

Der Hinterhof mit mehr als 100 Sitzplätzen ist im Sommer ein echtes Kleinod. Der Schwerpunkt liegt auf der handwerklichen Braukunst. Essen war gut. Unter der Woche wird ein preiswerter Mittagstisch angeboten.

Die Schweinshaxe sah gut aus und schmeckte auch gut. Der Rest des Gerichts war nicht genießbar, nicht frisch. Es gab auch keine englische Speisekarte.

Wir waren im Brauhaus Joh. Albrecht und hatten einen richtig schönen Abend in einem großen, urigen und sehr gemütlichen Lokal mit tollem Ambiente. Es ist zwar recht groß und kann, wenn es voll ist, auch etwas lauter werden – Gespräche sind dann manchmal etwas schwieriger. Das tut der Stimmung aber keinen Abbruch, denn genau das macht auch den besonderen, lebendigen Charme des Brauhauses aus. Der Service war wirklich top: sehr aufmerksam, super schnell und durchgehend freundlich. Besonders empfehlenswert sind die Bierempfehlungen des Personals – einfach darauf hören, es lohnt sich! 😊 Auch das Essen hat uns absolut überzeugt: super lecker, große Portionen und ein wirklich angemessenes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Zudem gibt es auch gute Optionen für vegetarische Gäste. Fazit: Ein rundum gelungener Besuch mit tollem Service, leckerem Essen und uriger Atmosphäre – wir kommen gerne wieder!

Sehr netter Biergarten und schneller freundlicher Service

Schönes Ambiente, sehr schnelle und freundliche Bedienung, das Essen war wirklich gut und die Portionen groß genug. Definitiv wieder einen Besuch wert. Das Haxe Buffet Dienstags ist auch sehr zu empfehlen.

Ostersonntag, früher Nachmittag. Wir hatten zunächst quasi das ganze Brauhaus für uns, waren die ersten Gäste. Konnten uns dadurch erst mal ganz in Ruhe die gesamte Gaststätte anschauen, was sonst kaum möglich ist. Es gibt sehr viele Details zu entdecken. Die Bedienung war supernett und nachdem wir bestellt hatten, war die Wartezeit für das Gericht angemessen. Das Essen war gut und ansprechend zubereitet. Die Preise sind für die heutige Zeit im mittleren Level, die Portionen durchaus ausreichend. Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit im Brauhaus und sind gut gesättigt und zufrieden nach ca. 1,5 Stunden wieder gegangen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Typisches Brauhaus. Das Essen ist gut. Sehr günstige, aber auch eingeschränkte Speisenauswahl auf der Mittagskarte.

Da der Geschmack nicht benotet werden kann, habe ich Vergleiche mit in der letzten Zeit vorher besuchten Gaststätten gemacht und kam zu dem Ergebnis, dass ich hier mit ca. 33% an Qualität und Geschmack benotet habe.

Wir haben extra angerufen um zu erfragen, bis wann die Küche auf hat, da wir an meinem Geburtstag hier gerne essen gegangen wären. Uns wurde am Telefon gegen 20:30 Uhr gesagt, dass sie bis 22:00 Uhr auf hat, nur um 21:20 Uhr zu erfahren, dass sie bereits zu hat und die Köche weg sind. Warum sagt man das nicht direkt am Telefon, wenn man denn schon anruft?!

Wir haben telefonisch einen Tisch für zwei reserviert und die Bestätigung bekommen, dass alles geklappt hat. Vor Ort wusste dann allerdings niemand etwas von unserer Reservierung. Trotzdem wurden wir an einen Tisch gesetzt – allerdings mit dem Hinweis, dass wir nur zwei Stunden Zeit haben, da der Raum anschließend reserviert sei. Während unseres Aufenthalts liefen die Kellner immer wieder hin und her und vermittelten uns indirekt, dass wir gehen sollten. Das Ganze war leider sehr unangenehm und hat für unnötigen Stress gesorgt. Die Kellner selbst waren wirklich sehr lieb und zuvorkommend – man hat gemerkt, dass es nicht ihre Schuld war. Trotzdem sollte so etwas organisatorisch einfach nicht passieren, vor allem wenn man am Ende auch viel Geld dort lässt. Als kleine Entschuldigung wären zumindest die Getränke aufs Haus schön gewesen. Das Essen war allerdings wirklich sehr gut.

Schön rustikal, zwei Regale mit alten Büchern ein Traum. Das Essen war super, schönes dickes saftiges Schnitzel und die Haxe einfach lecker. Bedienung war freundlich und das Essen kommt sehr schnell. Kommt hierher wenn ihr in Bielefeld essen wollt ist für mich jetzt die Empfehlung.

Gutes Bier, das beste Schnitzel un ganz Bielefeld, knusprig und lecker 😋 Schöner Garten, wo man im Sommer ganz gemütlich sitzen und sich mit den Freunden bei einem Bier unterhalten kann.

Das Brauhaus, ist gemütlich und das Bier war sehr gut. Das Essen leider enttäuscht, ich hatte ein veganes Schnitzel mit Pommes und mich zunächst gefreut dass so etwas angeboten wird. Allerdings war es ca halb so groß wie das Fleischschnitzel aber dafür ca 5 € teurer. Die Preiselbeeren wurden beim veganen Schnitzel weggelassen, sodass es insgesamt sehr trocken wäre. Ich wurde gefragt ob ich Ketchup oder Mayonnaise dazu haben will. Dann wurde mir ein winziges Schälchen Mayonnaise dazu serviert, was dann am Ende noch extra berechnet wurde. Auch das Bier ist mit knapp 6€ für 0,5 L relativ teuer. Ich würde aufgrund dieser Erfahrung nicht wieder kommen.

Zwei Jahre später kehrte ich auf der Durchreise extra an diesen Ort zurück. Das Bier ist ausgezeichnet!

Das Essen war an sich sehr lecker, aber leider ist das Schnitzel sehr klein & der Teller wird stattdessen mit Pommes gefüllt. Auch ein Kritikpunkt ist, dass man für Leitungswasser 4€ zahlt.

The staff round up the prices without being asked, which is unacceptable. The toilets smell like toilets, and they even ask for a usage fee with a small plate. Cleanliness is nonexistent. Joh. Albrecht Brauhaus in Soltau has a far better standard...

Ich war das erste und letzte Mal da. Wir waren zur Weihnachtsfeier da, es wurden einfach zwei Tische die nichts miteinander zu tun haben für uns reserviert. Das war garnicht schön, das hätte man anders planen können. Zudem war es so kalt da drin, dass wir mit Jacken sitzen mussten. Das Essen war okay aber mussten schon etwas länger warten. Ich würde aufkeinen Fall noch mal hingehen.

The service is extremely good, the food is also very tasty, and although the atmosphere is loud, it offers a good mood and a pleasant feeling.

It's a brewery, plain and simple. Delicious beer, delicious food. Loud and crowded, yet somehow sterile. Mass production, but still authentic.

It's actually a very nice restaurant... But with a total bill of almost €500 at the table, they could have easily bought a round of shots... That's not how you build customer loyalty...

The food was delicious. The beer was also very flavorful. Brass is light. Copper is dark.

The beer is excellent, the ham hock is incredible, and the servers are very friendly: a very welcoming place.

A neat Brauhaus with an in-house brewery and classic dishes, as you might expect. The hoppy ale, a bonus on the beer list, was the biggest surprise: a truly old-fashioned, crisp, bitter IPA in the tradition of the classic Punk IPA, beautifully brewed. The food lived up to expectations, and the service was friendly and efficient.

The decor is a bit dated; however, the staff is cheerful and always has a quick joke on their lips. The food was plentiful and very tasty. They were a bit stingy with the salt, but there are salt shakers on the table. Even though the chairs, tables, and benches are a bit dated, they were still quite clean. The only criticism would be the coldness of the dining room. At 17°C, it was a bit chilly.

Great brewery restaurant. A quiet beer garden in the courtyard, right next to the "Harms Markt" food court, a modern yet stylishly classic market hall with fresh dishes. Would come back anytime!

Unfortunately, you have to wait forever for your order to even be taken (over an hour). It also took a very long time for the order to arrive at your table.

We were at the beer garden with several people on Friday evening and wanted a bite to eat. Most people ordered schnitzel with fries. Three people opted for schnitzel with mushrooms and fried potatoes, while others chose chicken with salad and other dishes. The service was very friendly and accommodating – a big compliment for that! Unfortunately, the quality of some of the food left a lot to be desired. The fried potatoes and the schnitzel had obviously been prepared in a deep fryer and were practically dripping with oil. When you pierced the fried potatoes, the fat ran out of them, which significantly dampened our appetite. If you go to a restaurant and pay €21.50 for a schnitzel, in my opinion you can expect the fried potatoes to be prepared in the traditional pan – ideally with some bacon and onions. The way we got them, unfortunately, had little to do with a restaurant meal. A real shame, because the service was really good. Unfortunately, I can't recommend the food. Too bad.

Joh. Albrecht has been in Bielefeld for what feels like forever. The ambiance is lovely and the beer garden is excellent. The food is also impressive. As is typical in Bavaria, the portions are generous. The salmon is highly recommended. The traditional Bavarian dishes are nothing to sneeze at, but the taste is a bit different in Bavaria, and there's something missing. Still, good food, excellent service, and good home-brewed beer!

We were a large family group with children for two evenings over the weekend and were very satisfied. Excellent service ("Karo") served us both days. Thank you again. Everyone's food was very good. The kitchen was top-notch. Therefore, everyone requested the second evening, and since we arrived early (5:30 p.m.), we were again given a great table outside. The next time we have a meeting in Bielefeld, the Brauhaus will definitely be a stop again.

Prices are a bit on the higher side, and dips cost extra, which I find rather unnecessary given the price range. The food is good, and the portions are decent. The food and drinks arrived quickly, even though it was quite busy, which suggests the staff's good organization. Only once were cranberries forgotten, but they were served upon request. The beer is tasty and drinkable.

Their homemade beer is excellent, but unfortunately, their kitchen isn't very successful. The Schnitzel I had was too greasy, and unfortunately, it wasn't, but the beer was very good, so the two balanced each other out. I recommend coming here; it's a fun place to spend time.

The food came very quickly, but it wasn't very busy. The schnitzel was good, but there weren't enough paprika in the paprika sauce. The baked potato was a bit hard, but otherwise it was okay. The service was friendly.

The beer garden is very attractive and, despite being fully booked, wasn't too loud. The service was okay, but nothing more. Two orders brought the wrong drink. Unfortunately, the food wasn't what you'd expect from a brewery. The knuckle of pork was very dry, and the schnitzel looked very frozen. The sauces were also apparently ready-made products, including canned mushrooms. This is also supported by the fact that the food was served less than 15 minutes after ordering. In conclusion: Beer yes, food no.

We went here for dinner. The food was pretty bad, the meat was dry, and the other ingredients were anything but tasty. There was a lot of it, but if a lot of it doesn't taste good, then it's better not to go. The second star is only for the speed and friendliness of the service staff. They did a good job. We wouldn't come here for dinner again.

The atmosphere is very cozy. The brewery's own beer (Kupfer) is delicious. The service is friendly and professional. We had Wiener Schnitzel and a pan-fried knuckle of meat (photo). The Wiener Schnitzel had a bit too much breading and was too thick for the price. The knuckle of meat was tasty. However, the sauerkraut was overcooked and overcooked (see photo).

It would be a remiss to award this restaurant less than five stars. It is the best restaurant in all of Bielefeld, if not the surrounding area. Friendly, attentive service and chefs of exquisite craftsmanship will completely win you over on your first visit. Although the restaurant is located in the heart of the city, you can linger in the cozy, secluded beer garden—away from the noise and hustle and bustle of the street—and enjoy the delicacies of German cuisine, depending on what you're craving: schnitzel, spaetzle, or something simple like beer bread... Sundays are schnitzel day, when you can indulge in schnitzel of any kind and preparation. The house beer, which I initially had some doubts about, turns out to be surprisingly delicious—whether brass or copper, it will suit your palate (unfortunately, no wheat beer). The interior is also a wonderful place to sit, especially when it's cold and miserable outside. The service deserves the highest praise: No matter how many guests arrive at the same time, you won't be overlooked. The food is delicious, the portions generous—you leave feeling full, happy, and eager to return soon. We discovered the restaurant about a year ago, but we always enjoy coming back.

The best German restaurant and beer house in Bielefeld.

There were two of us. We received a lot of attention and friendliness from the service staff. The beer was very drinkable and the food delicious. One dish was missing a chicken breast. After a spontaneous comment to a server who wasn't in charge of our table, it was promptly replaced without any questions. Overall, highly recommended. Thank you for a lovely evening!

The first brewery I was in that had vegan schnitzel! And it was really tasty! What would make it even better is if it were a little bigger compared to the meat schnitzel or if you got 2 schnitzels (possibly for a small extra charge). ^^ But it's really cool that vegetarian and vegan cuisine is becoming increasingly popular in traditional restaurants.

After a long time back home, I had a fantastic pork knuckle with sauerkraut and mashed potatoes. The craft beer was just great. Highly recommended. And take a bottle of beer brandy home with you.

The Brauhaus Joh. Albrecht is a place with a unique atmosphere and excellent thematic furnishings. Here you can enjoy fresh, delicious home-brewed beer and sample hearty, traditional German cuisine. In the warm season, I particularly recommend visiting the cozy beer garden. It's the perfect place to meet up with friends and relax after work. 100% recommended!

Ordering beer went quickly and arrived quickly. It took a long time before we were allowed to order food. However, the food came after 5 minutes and was really delicious. When we had to pay we also had to wait again. Toilet conditions were ok.

There were 6 of us there in December. The food was definitely very tasty, no one complained. The service was also good and friendly, even if the restaurant was very busy at the time. However, there is one major point of criticism and that's why it's only given 4 stars: the toilets are absolutely disgusting. You go from this really nice ambience into a setting where you think you've landed at the train station, everything smells of urine, is unkempt and there were no towels. So really super fun and I didn't expect it in a restaurant like this.
