Very good Franconian cuisine and good service. A reservation on the weekend is an advantage.

We were there at very short notice. The place was full, very loud and the chairs were very uncomfortable. So it's best to eat and go again, not sit with friends. The service was super nice and attentive. I had the schnitzel with sheep's cheese and rösti. It's not very often that I have to add seasoning. The salad was very tasty, but had to be ordered separately, so for a total of almost 25 euros for schnitzel with rösti and salad, that's really crazy. The others were happy, only my friend had duck leg, which tasted warmed up and lots of pasta with sauce and 5 chanterelles. The only thing that really impressed us was the service, which was excellent

The rump steak was delicious and the service was excellent. We were there on a Tuesday evening and it was very busy, but still we didn't have a long wait. Everything went very quickly, but a reservation is recommended to enable better planning for the restaurant.

Typical restaurant in the main square with a fair number of seats inside and some outdoor tables for the summer period. Very clean and tidy but without table linen as is usual in these places. Friendly and competent staff. Very good and plentiful dishes. Excellent quality/price ratio.

Landed here on a recommendation, it should be the end of a nice vacation... Rum steak with onions and fried potato: Rum steak not a high-quality product, fried potato soaked in fat (fried 2nd time), onion from the deep fryer - mass-produced product for the (undemanding) large number of guests who have a high pain threshold in the monetary area - at least with this dish the price is right -Performance not (€28.90). Beer well tapped into a (warm) glass from the dishwasher...

Das ist ein tolles, fränkisches Gasthaus am Marktplatz in Schweinfurt. Hier fühlt man sich gleich daheim, da die Menschen im Service super nett und aufmerksam sind, dies haben sie nicht von ihrem Chef gelernt. Zum Start wurden uns 2 sehr leckere Süppchen serviert, geschmacklich pefekt abgeschmeckt, schön heiß, sehr gut! Die Hauptgerichte Kreefleisch mit Bandnudeln, große Portion, weiches Fleisch, super gewürzt! Der Schweinebraten war auch sehr gut, etwas fade gewürzt, Geschmackssache, die Klöße super gemacht. Wir haben sehr gut gegessen und preislich ist dies absolut OK und fair. Wir kommen sicher bald wieder!

This is a great Franconian inn on the market square in Schweinfurt. You immediately feel at home here because the people in service are super nice and attentive, they didn't learn this from their boss. To start we were served 2 very tasty soups, perfectly seasoned, nice and hot, very good! The main courses Kree meat with tagliatelle, large portion, soft meat, super seasoned! The roast pork was also very good, a bit blandly seasoned, a matter of taste, the dumplings were great. We ate very well and the price was absolutely OK and fair. We'll definitely be back soon!

Great restaurant, very busy, but a table was set up for us. A very quick lady came to take the order and was very cheerful and calm. Despite the crowds, she had everything under control and was very hospitable! This is how it should be in the catering industry!

A super economy as we say in Franconia, very nice staff, well-kept atmosphere, top food. What we don't like is that we have to order and pay for the salad separately when eating a normal meal, which is available in every other restaurant. The exaggerated price increase also made us decide to look for other inns as our regular pub. It's a shame if it weren't for the two points, we would have continued to the brewery. Where else have the prices increased, but not so extreme, in other inns you don't have to pay anything extra that is standard, e.g. salad. Maybe at some point, when the influx of guests slows down, the management of the brewery on the market will realize that it's not that good As I said, mathematically, if you go to the brewery with two people, you can go out to eat somewhere else with three people for the same money. But as I said, the management of the brewery has to decide whether they want to carry on like this, our circle of friends already see a lot of it and don't go there anymore, which is very sad, because otherwise there is nothing to criticize, everything is great, the food is great, the staff, etc. It is still a beautiful inn. There may be increased influx in the summer months because of the beautiful beer garden, but in the colder months the landlord will notice that the influx will decrease as families look for other inns because they can no longer afford the price increase to go there.

Wir bekamen ohne Reservierung einen schönen Platz auf der Außenterrasse. Die Preise für's Essen fanden wir recht hoch, zumal bei vielen Fleischgerichten der Salat dann noch extra bezahlt werden muss. Dafür sind die Portionen aber auch riesig und geschmacklich war das Essen vortrefflich. Die Getränkepreise fanden wir okay. Der Service war freundlich, nett und aufmerksam. Sollten wir wieder einmal in Schweinfurt sein und großen Hunger haben, werden wir sicherlich wieder hierher kommen!

The terrace was certainly well attended. But 7 people in service. . . . . .and you have to constantly look out for the waiter. We sat inside and the staff milled around like startled birds. Eye for the guest? Question about other drinks? None. The food was so-so, unfortunately the fish was fried to death.

The food here is absolutely excellent and I think it is one of the best Franconian restaurants you can visit. The food is hot, very filling and served very quickly. Homemade quality like grandma's, the service is very nice and friendly. The Brauhaus am Markt is now my favorite restaurant and I will look forward to every visit.

Always very tasty, down-to-earth food, at fair prices. It is served quite quickly and is visually beautifully presented. A reservation is definitely recommended as it is often quite full. All experiences with the service and staff have been positive so far. Today again... the food is very, very tasty and delicious, the selection is absolutely great, seasonal and regional, exactly how we imagine it.

Very comfortably furnished in the brewery style, as you know and imagine it. With wooden tables, chairs and benches. The service is friendly, attentive, absolutely professional and very well organized - something you don't see very often these days. A very nice menu on which everyone will find something with many Franconian dishes complements the great impression. There were 5 of us, we had everything from roasts to fish to schnitzel - and all the dishes we ordered were very good. The price-performance ratio is more than reasonable considering the portion sizes. If you like eating Franconian food in a beautiful atmosphere with great service and a good price-performance ratio, this is the place for you!

Kehren hier regelmäßig ein. Es wird gute deutsche Küche geboten. Besonders zu empfehlen ist das Brauhaus Schnitzel und der Haxen. Definitiv die erste Anlaufstelle , wenn man in Schweinfurt deutsch essen möchte. Abgerundet wird das ganze von einem Tollen Personal, welches sich gut um einen kümmert.

My wife and I enjoy going to the brewery, whether for food or for a beer or a glass of Franconian wine. The service is on point, the food is delicious, huge portions, free seconds if you don't have enough, and the boss personally takes care of the well-being of his guests. Everything is spotlessly clean, tidy and extremely comfortable, inside and out. Prices are right too. 100% recommendation.

The tavern looks good in terms of ambience. In terms of food, Schäufele was convincing. The Brauhausschnitzel wasn't such a hit. [Ready sauce, small minute schnitzels].

Passing through Schweinfurt, looking for a restaurant for dinner. Brauhaus read on Maps, Brauhaus always sounds good. So off to the brewery on the market, we weren't disappointed. Very nice service, view of the town hall. Ate Schäufele, tasted great. Despite the beer garden being full, it went quite quickly.

We were visiting Schweinfurt and were hungry in the evening. After a quick Google update we went to the old town. After a little back and forth about what would be best for us, we saw the brewery on the market. And the word brewery made everyone happy. Even though we hadn't made a reservation and the restaurant was quite full, we still managed to get a table for 7 people. The table was also quite comfortable in an extra room where we sat a little away from everything, but that was great. Unfortunately, if the staff could have been with us more, we would certainly have drunk more. The food was perfect for the price. It was delicious and there was plenty to fill you up. The beer here was really tasty too. When we are back in Schweinfurt we will definitely be back.

We had a table on the terrace (although you can no longer reserve here). The prices of the food and drinks, like everywhere else, increased. Meat was still almost raw on the inside, but it was immediately and quickly repaired without any problems. With an apology.

The brewery offers a cozy tavern atmosphere with plenty of seating (also outside when the weather is good). It looks well maintained and clean. Reservation in advance is recommended. It was very crowded here on a Tuesday evening. There is mostly Bavarian cuisine, but there is also a bit more choice if someone doesn't like something so hearty. Our dishes (there were four of us) were all very tasty. The portions are generous and you will definitely feel full. The prices are fair, although a side salad could be included. The service was attentive and polite. We got the dishes after about 15-20 minutes.

The staff is unfriendly and disrespectful. They don’t care for their customers. Speaking to the manager or owner was even worst. If you are thinking about visiting this place stay away, your money is best invested somewhere else. They don’t even deserve the one star I had to give them.

ch lebe seit 35 Jahren in Schweinfurt und die meisten Restaurants kennen mich für meine Höflichkeit und meinen Respekt. Aber im Brauhaus Marktplatz habe ich etwas Schreckliches erlebt. Ich bin ein pensionierter Soldat mit Kriegsverletzungen 🇺🇸🪖🇩🇪 und habe Gehprobleme. Ich rief das Restaurant an und der Manager ging ans Telefon. Ich fragte ihn respektvoll, ob ich etwas zu essen bestellen könnte, während wir draußen warteten. Er war sehr unhöflich und respektlos. Ich versuchte, mit einem Rollator hineinzugehen und zu bestellen. Sobald ich eintrat, stellte er mich zur Rede und wäre mir fast ins Gesicht gesprungen. Ich sagte ihm, er solle zurücktreten, weil ich an PTBS leide und ich ihm vielleicht entgegentreten könnte. Er beschloss, die Polizei zu rufen, während ich auf meinem Rollator saß. Stattdessen kam es im Restaurant zu einem lauten Schlagabtausch. Die Polizei kam mit heulenden Sirenen, als ob ich diesen Mann angreifen würde, obwohl ich offensichtlich behindert bin. Sie waren höflich und ich schilderte ihnen meine Version. Ich habe nun für ein Jahr Hausverbot in diesem Restaurant. Immerhin habe ich in und um Schweinfurt andere Möglichkeiten. I have lived in Schweinfurt for 35 years & the majority of the restaurants know me for my politeness and respect. But, I experienced a terrible thing at the Brauhaus Marktplatz. I am a retired military with war injuries 🇺🇸🪖🇩🇪 with walking issues. I called the restaurant & the manager answered the phone. I asked him respectfully if it was possible to order some food while waiting outside. he was very rude and disrespectful. I made an effort with a rollator to go inside and order. as soon as I entered, he confronted me and actually almost got in my face. I told him to stand back because I suffered from PTSD and that I might counter him. he decided to call the police while I was seated on my rollator. This was a shouting match incident instead inside the restaurant. The police showed up with sirens blazing as if I was attacking this man although I’m disabled obviously. they were polite and I gave them with my version. I am now house banned from this restaurant for one year. At least, I have other options in & around Schweinfurt.

The food was good, portions were sometimes very large, but the service was unfortunately very overwhelmed when it came to taking orders due to the high number of visitors.

We were passing through today and were looking for a nice place to have lunch in Schweinfurt. The reviews were impressive and we were not disappointed. Everything was tip top, there was really nothing to complain about. Food very tasty, team very nice, atmosphere very nice. A reunion is not out of the question. We were there for dinner on a Saturday around 5 p.m. At this point there was almost nothing going on. Schäufele and sauerbraten were served in no time. By 6 p.m. the outdoor area was full and waiting times were getting longer. Staff very attentive, friendly and accommodating. We felt comfortable.

I've been going to the brewery for 40 years and will continue to do so. Reservations are recommended. Sometimes difficult to reach someone. That's why only 4 stars. The food is very tasty and plentiful. Good German cuisine. And most of the staff is very friendly and quick.

The restaurant is nicely located and especially nice in summer with the outdoor terrace. Unfortunately the scoop wasn't good and the crust wasn't crispy. The potato dumpling was okay, but a conventional product. The evening could have been cut short like that, but our criticism was not addressed at all, our question about who was responsible led to the appearance of a very unreasonable, annoyed employee who didn't care at all about our criticism and who obviously felt disturbed by our criticism. Go to the Roth Brauhaus or somewhere else. This store was just bad

Have been to the brewery several times and have never been disappointed. Schnitzel, Schäufele, sauerbraten or asparagus dishes were always tasty. Service and ambience also very good. We will be back!

The Scheuferle is good. A little more expensive but also a corresponding portion. Good selection of beer and schnapps, which is definitely necessary after the Scheuferle. Unfortunately there is no beer of our own, which is a bit sad considering the name and history of the brewery.

The food was very tasty. Had a cheese schnitzel with fries and loin with mushroom sauce and spaetzle. The portions were mega big. We couldn't eat it all.
