Brauhaus Aloysianum in Leichlingen (Rhld.)

We made a reservation there for the second time. This time we were disappointed with the service. From the shift change around 8 p.m. on Friday evening, there was almost no service at all, and the young man was clearly unhappy. Drink orders had to be repeatedly placed at the bar. The food was only okay this time. It's a real shame.

Unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. One of the meals contained a crumpled paper towel – absolutely unhygienic and simply unthinkable in a restaurant. The only "apology" offered was that this dish was removed from the bill. Neither a sincere apology nor a replacement dish nor even a small gesture of regret was offered. For me, this is an absolute no-go: Not only does the kitchen lack care, but also a respectful and professional approach to guests in the event of a complaint.

There was no reason to complain. The price/performance ratio was definitely good. The waitresses were really super nice and friendly. The taste wasn't bad, and we were definitely full. All in all... highly recommended!

Beautifully decorated brewery. Good food, delicious house beer, and very friendly, attentive service. The special menus (venison, chanterelle mushrooms, etc.) offered at various times of the year are particularly recommended. All in all, always worth a visit!

They're making money from what's probably the cheapest frozen schnitzel in Champion cream sauce (estimated material value: frozen schnitzel + fries + sauce from Metro = €3-4). This has nothing to do with a love of food and schnitzel. Almost €19 is extremely overpriced for this, I think. If there's even a chef there, he should be ashamed of himself. Otherwise, it was a very nice evening. My tip: go to Grillmeister for dinner beforehand; the quality is much better there, and then head to the Brauhaus for a beer afterward.

We had made a reservation for 9 p.m. and wanted to eat there and end the evening in a relaxed atmosphere. However, an hour before our arrival, we received a phone call informing us that the kitchen was already closed, without any prior notice during the reservation. Very disappointing. Things didn't improve once we got there: The waitress was extremely rude, and a couple was even thrown out when they tried to sit down. At 10 p.m.—just an hour after our arrival—we were told it was the last round, even though the brewery's opening hours were supposed to be midnight. We had to finish our drinks quickly and felt like we should leave as quickly as possible. Conclusion: This is not how you treat guests. This was definitely our last visit. Never again.

The two of us spontaneously stopped by for dinner and were very satisfied. The food was delicious and the service was really good. We'd love to come back. Best regards, Lars and Elke

We were here on Tuesday and wanted to eat schnitzel. However, the Italian menu is only available on Tuesdays. We chose pizza, and it was still delicious.

Modern brewery with an extensive menu. We had schnitzel, roulade, noodles and the knuckle. The side dishes were homemade and nothing out of the bag. The noodles were quite okay, the roulade and the schnitzel were good. The knuckle, however, was our highlight. Crispy all around, big and juicy. The waitress wasn't in a good mood and could have been a little more attentive.

Today we went to dinner with our children. We were immediately welcomed in a friendly, relaxed manner. It was a pleasant atmosphere, which I find so important, especially when you go out to eat with children. The food was so incredibly delicious. We all had the schnitzel in Champion cream sauce, I can only recommend it. The drinks were also great 👍🏽. Price performance is unbeatable. We'd love to come back.

The small brewery near the train tracks offers a cozy atmosphere and friendly service. The location is a bit noisy due to the trains passing by, but that can also have a certain charm.😉 The citizen was tasty and filling.

I've been here to see Gadt several times in the last 3 weeks. A young, dynamic team, an attentive boss who takes special requests into account and beer from a small brewery ranging from light to pilsner, dark and yeast. Plus varied cuisine. What more could you want? Keep it up.

Friendly service, very attentive despite a relatively full house. Actually typical brewery food on offer, my grilled knuckle with mashed potatoes and sauerkraut was okay but I could have had it tastier 🤷. The puree was still relatively chunky and tasteless, the sauerkraut actually only had a sour taste. The beer I tried (there are several types on offer) was very tasty 👍. There is also the option to sit outside in the beer garden. The brewery is located in an old train station, right next to the train tracks. The trains passing by are very loud and therefore annoying.

Totally nice people and really good service. We were all happy with the food, beer was diligently supplied and the waitresses were great.

By far the best brewery in the area. Food is super tasty and plentiful. Beer is a private label and therefore something special, tastes great and works well. The service is always friendly and accommodating. Definitely a highly recommended place to stay, eat and have fun.

We rented the White Lounge for a funeral and were very happy with everything, the portions are amazing, yes it's a little more expensive but no one goes home hungry! The staff are also very child-friendly and accommodating. Our company was generally a bit older than 50+ and without exception everyone was very satisfied. The lava cake at the end was also so good that we all wanted to try it. Only recommended!

Parking is no problem, the welcome is very warm, the atmosphere is uncomfortable, the service is great and requests and allergies (scampi pans) are taken into account without any problems, the in-house beer is great, the food is fantastic, what more could you want. We would be happy to come back and would of course be happy to recommend you. Keep it up *****

Wir haben selten einen so tollen Service in einem Restaurant erlebt. Auf das sehr leckeren Essen mussten wir nicht lange warten. Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam, so dass wir immer mit Getränken versorgt waren. Besser geht es nicht.

Food is very good, had Frutti di Mare with pasta, the other various other dishes that not only looked good, but also tasted good. (I tried most of them) 4 different homemade beers, including wheat, are available, except Kölsch. I tried two types, the wheat one was good, but not really my thing. Will definitely come back

Ob gut oder schlecht hängt hier immer davon ab, wer am jeweiligen Tag kellnert. Wir waren zuletzt sowohl im September 2023 als auch im Oktober 2023 jeweils 4x im Aloysianum zum Essen. (Burger, Spanferkelrollbraten, Leberknödel, Leberkäse, Gemüse-Nudeln, Currykrakauer...) Teilweise sind hier sehr unmotivierte Menschen am Werk (z.B. Sonntag 17.09.23 17:00 Uhr). Und wenn solche Personen alleine im Service sind kann das für den Gast kein schöner Abend werden. Die rothaarige weibliche Servicekraft von Sonntag 22.10.23 hat es jetzt geschafft, uns für die nächste Zeit zu vergraulen. Wir kamen zu zweit gegen 17:15 Uhr in das noch recht leere Lokal. Nach Blick ins Reservierungsbuch durften wir Platz nehmen. Ca. 5-10 Minuten nach uns kam eine Gruppe von 10 Personen. Für diese Gruppe, die scheinbar reserviert hatte, mussten dann eilig Tische zusammengeschoben werden. Das war trotz vorheriger Reservierung nicht vorbereitet worden. Diese Gruppe bekam dann sofort die Speisekarten. Da wir (obwohl lange genug vor dieser Gruppe angekommen) 15 Minuten nachdem wir Platz nehmen durften trotz unserer Bitte weder eine Speisekarte erhalten haben noch eine Getränkebestellung abgeben durften sind wir dann gegangen. Schade. Mit dem jungen großen Kellner haben wir uns immer nett unterhalten. Aber leider kennen wir ja nicht die Dienstpläne der Servicemitarbeiter.

Zum Essen sind wir zwar hingegangen aber dann unverrichteter Dinge wieder abgezogen. Warum? Zunächst hatte man unserer Reservierung offenbar nicht ernst genommen und als wir dann doch einen brauchbaren Platz hatten wurden wir für laaaange Zeit einfach nicht bedient. Also sind wir wieder gegangen. Was ich von dem kurzen Aufenthalt sagen kann ist, dass es irrsinnig laut war. Eine Unterhaltung konnten wir nicht führen, man musste sich anschreien, was dann natürlich die Lautstärke weiter erhöhte. Ich würde nicht wieder dort hingehen.

Sehr schmackhafte Speisen. Freundliche Bedienung. Das dunkle Hausbräu hat auch sehr gut geschmeckt . Abzug leider, da die Eingangstür offen war und es im Raum etwas kühl bzw . an einigen Tischen etwas zugig war. Ansonsten alles in Ordnung. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir waren auch begeistert und kommen nächsten Samstag wieder!

in Ermangelung guter Biergärten in Leichlingen: Beste Adresse, leckerstes naturtrübes Bier aus Eigenproduktion für alle, die der Kölsch u. Altbierplörre überdrüssig sind, gute Küche und sehr freundliches Personal was will man mehr? Empfehlenswert!

Gute Destination zum essen, bislang Speisen schmackhaft, normale Portionen und in Preis im Mittelfeld. Ambiente im Außen- bereich sehr gut. Direkt DB Bahnhof Leichlingen der RB48. Das Bier ist Eigenbrau und zu empfehlen. Innenausstattung schlicht und sinnvoll

Leckeres Essen, guter Service, einfache Reservierung und gutes Bier (ebenfalls großes Angebot an nicht alkoholischen Getränken) Echt zu empfehlen

Wir haben einen sehr schönen Abend vor Ort verbracht. Das Essen hat sehr lecker geschmeckt und wir sind freundlich bedient worden. Der Grillteller war sehr lecker. Die Beilagen mengenmäßig überschaubar.

Konnten im schönen windgeschützten Biergarten Platz nehmen. Freundliche Bedienung und schmackhaftes Bier. Das bestellte Essen kam heiß zum Tisch und war sicherlich nicht TK-Ware. Werden sicherlich noch öfters einkehren.

...leider nicht mehr das was es mal war, gehobenes Fastfood! Alles etwas lieblos angerichtet. Wären wir nicht in einer Gruppe dort gewesen, hätte ich es auch gesagt,so war es nicht möglich,sehr schade,wir haben vor einiger Zeit dort gut gegessen, schade das Bier ist nach wie vor der Hammer!!!
