Super happy with the delivery service. I was shocked at the price at first, but wanted to try the pizza. And was absolutely positively surprised. Size and quality were super good. Very lovingly prepared despite delivery. Delivery was very quick within Lennep. Very satisfied, gladly again.

The two of us entered the restaurant at around 6:45 p.m. to have a quick dinner before we wanted to attend an event next door at the Klosterkirche Lennep cultural center at 8:00 p.m. The shop was moderately busy, it felt like less than 50% of the tables were occupied. We were politely asked if we had reserved. Unfortunately we had to say no. After a short consultation with a colleague, we were told that unfortunately it was not possible because all the inks were reserved. From the monastery church you have to use the toilets of the restaurant in question. So I was able to take a look into the guest room and lo and behold, there were only slightly more guests there than before. By the way, we spent almost €60 in a very nice restaurant in the neighborhood. Unfortunately, the landlord of the Klosterschänke will have to forego this turnover with us in the future. Flexibility is a nice trait, but obviously not with the staff at this place. I later remembered the saying: closed because of wealth. Unfortunately I can't judge the food any differently, I didn't get anything 🥲 Maybe the landlord should have a motivational talk with them lead employees. It's a shame, it would have been so easy. P.s. we were well dressed and well groomed.

Since we had checked into a hotel nearby on Saturday, November 23rd, 2024, we stopped by the Intermezzo in the early evening on our own. The two of us each had the “Holstein style schnitzel with fried potatoes” and we were really impressed. Very, very tasty including salad and bread with ajoli to start with. The staff, think the owner and his wife, made it possible for us to sit at a great table by the window despite the house being fully booked. Conclusion : Full 5 stars!! Excellent cuisine, very friendly staff in a cozy atmosphere, lovingly furnished. A must stop if you want to have a good meal in Remscheid.
